One of the worst companies to buy nail tech tools from. This company does not do any quality control on their products before shipping out to consumers. This is the second passport hand box that still has not been fixed from them. The issue is that their control boards revs up and down when in low speed and they can’t seem to figure out how to fix the issue. This is really bad when you are working on a client and can cut them anytime. Amanda has no customer service skills whatsoever. When asked to speak to their manager, their excuse is she is always in a meeting and never gets back. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this company and starting to think I’ve made a poor decision doing so. I would take my business elsewhere.

Ordered 2 products, only received one. They claimed they would send me the missing item and a week went by with no updates. I finally requested a refund and they were quick to respond. Would rather refund discounted item rather than ship it out. Lazy and unprofessional.

So my classmates and I happened to come across a bundle they had for a red drill, 10 bits and sanding bands last week...Hours after our order, we unexpectedly get refunded. Upon inquiring about why, they first claimed that it was a glitch or website error.. its clear that before we got refunded, they changed their website and removed the bundle... when I explained my knowledge of website maintenance and updating and that I know this has to be manually set either way... they decided to respond condescendingly saying that it was a code type of sale for only 25% off to enter and admitted that their IT person messed up. But we DIDNT have to enter a code at all, the bundle was set so literally all you had to do was click to add to cart. That part literally has to be manually set. But they clearly dont care about facts with an oh well type of response. So its their customers fault when they have internal issues and they feel they dont have to honor sales or bundles on their website if they remove it before refunding ppl who already made the purchase. They clearly have no integrity, decent business sense or respect.

I finally had a chance to come in and purchase items needed for my studio. I called this morning and spoke to Amanda about purchasing the charging cord for my ManiPro Passport. I asked if I could come and pick it up today and sure enough I was able to. When I walked in I was greeted by Amanda and Crystal. They were super helpful. Crystal helped me with my purchases. She even told me about the next upcoming class that will take place in September. Thank you Crystal and Amanda for the amazing customer service! I highly recommend coming in for repairs if you are close to their HQ.

I bought my first drill last April and had to send it in to be repaired . From my very first inquiry, I received an email from Amanda in Customer Service she delivered excellent service. There was a minor hiccup with repairs but as soon as I reached out to Amanda it was handled immediately! I will definitely purchase again the customer service she has shown me stands up to the Kupa name that I have heard so much about! Top notch!😊

Absolutely love their odorless monomer. Never, ever use anything but that with great results. However, to be clear, you do have to use a clear builder gel over glitter nails as the odorless monomer is not crystal clear. It leaves a cloudy finish that wont work with glitter you want to sparkle. But all other acrylic powder its great. The reason Im giving four stars is because I never get a tracking number when I do order. The website will say track order but it only takes you to order number. I checked both app, website, email, nothing. So that is something that could be improved upon. Also, if shipping wasnt so much Id order all the time. Like every few weeks. But knowing I have to spend $50 every order slows me down. Other than that, you have great products Ill be a customer forever.Oh and by the way..... The matte top coat is fantastic!! I get them on eBay and love them. Thanks for selling on eBay

I use the ManiPro Passport during all of my services & it’s so great! I’ve even had it serviced and I get it back the same day (as I live local). The Gel Top Coat is my favorite top coat because it is shiny till my girls come back for their next appointment. I also have the full set of brushes which are perfect for all kinds of nail art. I’m a big fan of Kupa products!

‪ This company has the worst customer service ever.... and this product is bad!!!! I bought this machine, used it for 1 month, 1 month after purchasing it broke down!!!! Sent it back to the company and after 2 days of receiving the item back it broke again... baring in mind they didn’t respond to my emails until i had to email them a couple of times.... so i emailed them after they sent me the broken drill back and since then they still haven’t responded to me!!!!! It’s been months or even one year... so i decided to take it to a guy that fixes drill and he said i can’t use it it’s trash now!!! Seriously.... i paid 350$ for this machine for it to work 1 month!!!!! Never again..... be aware guys... ‬i can’t believe how they can just take peoples money and when you send back the product they just made the drill worst.. don’t want to respond to your email or phone calls... This is absurd!!! If i could rate nothing i would!!!

I’ve had my maipro for 4 months. It stopped working about a month ago and I sent it in. I sent it in all of its original packaging. Didn’t get any sort of communication for weeks after I sent it in. I called every day after 2 weeks of not hearing anything. I would get redirected or told that I would get a call back from a manager. Never happened. Then after 3 weeks I received an email saying it was on its way back. Super. When I got it back it was in some random box. Not packaged very securely. The protective tape on the clip had been ripped off. I’ve had it back for a week. Today I go to use it for a booked day of appointments and it’s not working again. Trying to get someone on the phone who can help me is impossible apparently. For what I paid for this I am incredibly disappointed in the company’s lack of customer service. I would NOT suggest purchasing from this company.

Horrible buying experience, try to get your products from some other company if you can. Back in January i placed an order for an item, which i thought they had in stock ( their website does not let customers know if they have the item in stock or not) the order was refunded because they did not have the product in stock, without letting me know if i wanted to wait or not, they just refunded the order, well i thought it was just a misunderstanding and gave them another try, forward to February and another order was placed for a totally different product, to my astonishment this order was refunded back to my credit card as well ( again without notifying me about the issue) well the order was marked as possible fraudulent because the ship to address was no the same as the bill to address ( just because i had the order to be delivered to my job) instead of calling and getting confirmation and verification their super efficient customer service just decided to refund the order again. Suffice to say i will not be giving my business to such company, plenty of quality options out there instead of going through such terrible buying experience.

I wish I could write only great things about this company, but I will be honest. Kupa has some quality products; however, their customer service is completely lacking. This company does not answer and/or return calls, respond to first and/or second attempt emails, or acknowledge their own guarantees. I regret that I ever purchased any products from this company. My ongoing issue has yet to be resolved---as they do not respond to concerns or if they do; they do not offer a reasonable solution. I do not recommend this company.

I love my Kupa drills! Though after a year of using my first one the handpiece has a short that I need to send in to get fixed. So I ordered a brand new one so while that one is being fixed I have a back up. I’ve emailed THREE TIMES about this problem and have received NO answers and I’m getting VERY upset because I’ve spent a lot of money on these drills. I don’t know HOW ELSE TO CONTACT so I’m hoping someone from this company replies and helps me with my problems!!!!

Horrible customer service. I have worked in customer service for 10+ years and have never treated anyone or been treated as poorly as I have with this company. Love the drill but cannot get anyone to contact me in regards to issues. I am extremely disappointed and would have recommended their products but not at this point with trying to deal with someone. There is no toll free number to call which makes it difficult when you dont have long distance and they do not respond to emails or the forms you fikl out on their site.

Absolutely terrible experience.Bought the MP Passport bundle that cost me $400 CAD.Got billed $135 from FedEx a month later for entry fee and customs.That’s terrible customer service if you don’t let your customers know ahead of time that you do not cover any of those expenses.I could have easily ordered the equipment here and I would save at least $135 in fees and 2 weeks of waiting for delivery.Never again.

I just bought my KP-60 Manipro Passport and 3 months after the headpiece just stop working. It would not unlock for me to put the bit on. I hope that I will not be paying for this repair as this is a manufacture defect. Hardly used much since I am still learning how to use the drill. Customer service is horrible. Who hired these people that has no customer experience? Theyre so rude and very short with you. KUPA, please hear out your customers in this review and do something about it. The products are expensive and we bought it and hoping for a better quality. Hire someone with an exceptional customer service. Thank you.

We bought 8 drimmels in the last year, had to send 5 of them to repair and 2 of them dont work anymore but we are now 4 days past waranty. These products are not made for daily proffessional use, after few months all of them started overheating, vibrating or just getting very slow even if fully charged.This is very frustrating and we will never buy from this companie again.The drimmels could be so great but they dont last.

I bought a nail drill, UP200, $389.64 at a nail supply. Then I use it only for less than a week. The drill was getting hot and stopped running. I contacted Kupa INC for a warranty because Nail Supply told us to contact Kupa for warranty. However, Kupa customer service told me to sent the drill back to them. I sent it back to Kupa INC in California. a week latter they email me that they will not cover the warranty. I called them to ask what was the problem. Guest what, they told me that they would not warranty for my drill because there was a lot of nail powder cover inside the drill so they will not repair it. they expected me to pay for the repair. I email them back to ask what the heck that they design the nail drill for? for drill nail or doing nothing? if it design to drill nail then the nail powder stuff inside the drill so that would be the design problem and they would not warranty that is that right or wrong.I would like to warning everyone think carefully before to buy any Kupa product because they will not cover the warranty for you. me never ever again with KupaThank you for reading my post

I have my a my up200 for over10 years still working, I bought this to do nails for customers who sit on spa chairs, more easier with cordless power( use battery). Unfortunately it’s not good drill, I have never seen in my 20 years in doing Nail. Customer service didn’t want to listen to customer, with no experience at all. Do not buy this product, not worthy for high price and bad services.

I bought a mani pro passport last July. Two months after the cord broken send it in to replace the wire, get that fix and the invoice show that they repair the motor too with out letting me know,so that repair happen in October 19,2017 now January 21 2018 some thing wrong with the motor, I sent it’s in for repair. 100% happy with my new mani pro passport efile. Right away I felt the pressure difference on my wrist. I automatically didnt feel the need to tense up. And the finished out come especially on the cuticles is amazing. Also the gelfinity matte top coat is amust!

Sent my machines in to be repaired and when I contacted them to ask them if it had been repaired after MONTHS of waiting, they said they no longer had the machines and that the machines were sent away to be kupa property, do basically they TOOK my machines and now I can’t get them back even though I called them twice to try to get them back !

Kupa is an amazing company. They have an excellent customer service team. They get back to you on any questions you have very quickly. I just tried there L&P system and it is amazing. There dip system is revolutionary. Not to mention they have all kinds of free education for nail techs from downloadable pdfs to Facebook and in house hand on training. They are all rockstars and you can tell they appereciate there customers and there employees.

Horrible! They keep extending the order of the THREE UV/LED light lamps that I ordered 3 1/2 months ago! I called two weeks ago and told me it would be two weeks, now its another 3-4 weeks? Whatever is going on with production needs to be solved. They will be refunding my money. I will never order from them again! Be honest with orders and dont give FALSE statements! Seriously 3 1/3 months and another month to wait for a light??

Ive had my Kupa for 14 years and Ive sent back the hand piece three times for regular maintenance at a cost of no more than $30.00 (each time). THATS OVER 14 YEARS! Good job, Kupa!!! Thats pennies for such a great instrument! I sent it back last week and heard from Erin today. My WONDERFUL Kupa that has become an extension of my arm, is not able to be repaired. Why? Its old. Theyve made newer models. I get that and believe me, this drill doesnt owe me one red cent. One thing I DO think, though. While Erin had me on the phone telling me that parts are no longer available, she should have tried to sell me another e-file, or drill. I would have bought one IMMEDIATELY. However, that was not the case. So, I came home and researched nail drills with the same RPMs as the old one (15,000) and capability to reverse, and guess what. I found one. For less than HALF of what Kupa wants for their 15,000 rpm mani pro. So, I was happy with my Kupa KP30 and now Ill be happy with my NEW 15,000 reversible drill from a company that ALSO offers maintenance as needed with a minimum charge. Thanks for the good years, though! Oh, and the other girl I spoke to when I called Erin back (Heather) WAS rude. You know...............I dont even hesitate to post this because my hand piece should be on its way back to me and if it comes back in worse condition than it arrived at Kupa in, we know the names of those who handled it. ;)

I will NOT recommend this company. 0 stars if I could rate it zero. I purchased the ManiPro Passport Feb 2018 along with DipFinity starter kit and a few colors. I have since sent 3 emails this past week (Mar 4th-11th 2018) asking to purchase extended warranty & concerns using DipFinity. NO RESPONSE whatsoever. Some of their colors on the website do not look anything like what is showcased. Also Ive had multiple clients have the product cracked, chipped or broken off. Im a seasoned licensed nail tech. When I initially purchased the E-file and emailed asking about warranty I was contacted the SAME day by Daisy Castaneda asking if I wanted to purchase it. But now, not a word! 7 days and NO response? Please...Never again. Horrible experience, I am NOT reordering anything from them. I will be telling EVERY nail tech I know to not buy from this company. Bad impression for a first time customer.

Horrible company to order from. I had ordered a bundle for over $400 recently and waited 10 days for the item to be shipped, never was. I then opened up a paypal dispute for a refund and 3 days later finally got an email from kupa saying the item will then be shipped. I immediately replied saying I no longer wanted their product and wanted a refund....no reply and wont pick up their phone. The item was shipped, got into town and as I tracked the item I saw that the seller had requested the item be returned to the seller yet I had not received my money back. Keep in mind this whole process took place over 3 weeks. Called PayPal and finally received my refund. Thanks paypal!Do not buy direct from this company, there are prices cheaper elsewhere for the same item.

I recently bought the manipro original E-file with the prep set, along with other items. I left a negative review on their website site. After only one use, the gold rim on the hand piece would slide onto the bit. Then when I would remove the bit as directed by the instructions, the silicon tube inside the hand piece would come out, after one use!! I also mentioned that the hand piece label had scratches on it. I dont know if its from manufacturing or if it was used. I will never buy from this company again. My review was never posted on their website. But my good review on their 8 kolinsky crystal brush was posted shortly after. Another thing, after posting my negative review. My account mysteriously no longer existed, I couldnt retrieve the password. It just said no account associated with this email . Yet I received a email asking me to review the products I had purchased a day later. This is the shadiest company I have ever purchased from. Proceed with caution.

One star for easy to locate the warehouse.No stars for customers service and product service. I came in to repair my KP-55 and they told me $310 for the repair service plus parts. The price of the KP-55 is listed at $240msrp, you must be an idiot to repair and not just buy a new one... I paid Kashi beauty supply $295 for a complete mani-pro set. Kupas pricing is insane, product warranty sucks.I will think twice before buying another kupa product for my shop.You would be surprised to see how accurate it is... call around to any nail supply shop in Westminster Ca. This place look ok when I walk in, but when I talk to one of there front desk about the problem that I have with the manipro that I purchase last week she doesnt want to listen to what I said just want to push me out of the door . There are 2 of them from the front desk the one that have darker hair and a bit choppier, for the business should not have someone like that at the front desk, she not happy, negative, and I felted like shes mad at me . And when I pick it up I notice that at the lowest speed with putting it on the nail it stops and I said maybe its the load, I got home I loaded it and it was still the same I came back yesterday 3 hours waiting for them to tell me that it was working that way that was normal I have 2 Years with him and I didnt do that but you never beat a company like that.

I thank the excellent attention of Miss Crystal, who is the receptionist of the Kupa company because thanks to her help, I found an excellent Monomer, I am really in love with the monomer of Kupa, I do not need a clean brush, because with this monomer does that function too .... Very bad customer service in the number 1 800 and also in the Anaheim office, they leave a lot to tell as a serious company, apart from handling the passport it does not work after 2 weeks that I buy it, it is broken, do not pay $ 20 or $ 30 dollars, pay $ 450 for something that doesnt work and they dont even have good customer service, they scream and say they are company policies, I didnt make the rules and I cant do anything, I wont buy anything back there and whenever someone asks for a recommendation in a blog or group of facebook, watshap or wherever my experience will be and that of many other people who have told me the same thing, that the mani pro do not work and are not worth the price paid and this I put in Spanish to Latin people .... Apart to reimburse the money of any cancellation of a purchase it takes 5 to 10 days to return it and if you ask why, they only say they are company policies and if you like it, well then, no, very bad experience with this company in bad Products and in poor customer service ..... Oh and apart my husband made an order and first they gave him a delivery date, then they sent him an email with another date saying that they did not have the product and after almost a month he They talk and tell him that they dont have the product that will arrive in 3 weeks that he has to wait, because what a serious seriousness that is, that company is a shame.
