Told it was a different repair. Spent extra $$$$.. Said this was problem, different from the first $ repair they did. .Never listened to actual problem which is still happening. LIED!!!Treated me, a male, as if I was stupid. Never addressed original noise which came from 1st invoice/repair, within 60 days warranty.

They steal money from people. They check my car and told replace the complete cooling system but problem in actual is that fan needs to be replaced. They gave me around $2000 bill which in actual I got it fixed from somewhere in $250. I highly recommend that you guys find another shop to get your vehicle fixed.

Took car in for front end repair. And that it wkobbles bàdly on freeway They pointed out that it needed brakes. I said ok . They said the wobble was from the shocks. I said ok do it.* They NEVER test drove it on the freeway. Now I have $640 into shocks that i didnt need. And my van still wobbles bad on the freeway. Now they arent returning my calls. I have brought my vehicle here for the last 2 years. Yesterday though i brought my vehicle in for a full check up. Something was acting up with the vehicle. I believed it was the alternator or starter and even explained that to the mechanic or manager louie.He was completely honest and told me that it would be too expensive to fix or mess with the alternator or starter that the problem with my vehicle was minor and could be fixed for 100s cheaper.I respect a trustworthy shop especially when so many people and shops try to up-price you. They also offered me a military discount.I 100% recommend this shop. I would rather bring my vehicles here than even to the dealership or even to family believe it or not. Definitely an A+ rating.

Louis (hope the spelling is right!) and his mechanics were amazing to work with. I had traveled here from Utah and had no idea where to go with my hybrid Escalade that wouldn’t start. The mechanic was quick in letting me know what the issues were, explained in detail what I was facing, and gave me options of what to do. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, and took a personal interest in my unfortunate situation. I felt like they treated me like family! They gave me an incredible deal for what they did for me. Louis even helped me arrange towing with his friend who gave me a far better price than other touring companies quoted me. They went above and beyond to help me. I would go there again in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. They are all experts in what they do, and are fair and truly good people. That’s hard to find in this industry! I visited this shop already knowing what I need which was my spark plug wires replaced just simply for maintenance. I tell the man I need my wires replaced and I wanted to know how much they charged to do so. He tells me they have to run a diagnostics test before changing the wires which costs $90. I told him I dont need a test since I already know what I want to do Im not going there to find out whats wrong because nothing is wrong with my vehicle Im just simply upkeeping my car. He tells me he wont change my wires without a diagnostics test so I left annoyed. What a cheap way to take money from the community. If thats their protocol then that is a ridiculous way to make money since almost everyone else will not force you to pay for a diagnostics test when you already know what you want to be done to your car. Thats like someone telling you they wont replace tires you wish to buy without paying for an alignment. Diagnostics should be options and not be forced upon customers especially when you know what your going in for. definitely wont be coming back here.

I went in for oil change and paid $65 for it. After I left for the oil change two days later my car started shaking. So I went to take it back and they wanted to charge me $90 to check what was wrong with it. This is really ridiculous. I would not recommend coming here.

First-time customer here.AAA was having a free 40 pt inspection so that is my main reason for using Union Auto Service.After inspection, I was notified that the rack and pinion was leaking, and the transmission oil pressure switch were leaking too. I would have overlook these since I dont fix cars but the owner and the technicians know their way. (Replaced this rack and pinion 7 months ago from amazon.... Never again. lol)Service was done for an 09 honda civic for rack and pinion with full repair and labor cost ~ 960.Yikes, but better know than never.Pros:1.Professional and honest mechanical repair - completed the rack and pinion in ~4 hrs w/ appt. My dashcam shows no joyriding was taking place so that was nice. Labor is pricier than other shops but quality of the labor is excellent.2. Owner dropped me off at a car rental while my car got repaired.3. 5% discount if paid in cash.4. Wifi, TV, reading material, restroom in the waiting shop.5. Service was started on time. My appt was at 8 and they started at 8:05.6. 2 yr warranty on parts because I have AAACons:1. Lack of price matching with existing parts. rack and pinion average for third party on carid/amazon ~ 170-200.Cost here for part was 294.95Avoid weekends for repairs especially emergency repairs.Overall, I was satisfied with the customer service, and the honesty in labor repair.

I bought a car that he listed as clean and with 90xxx miles, however i later i found it was he had rolled the odometer!! History of the car showed that last time the car was service it had 157xx miles but he rolled it to 90xxx miles.This place is full of crooks! when i was there he tried to charge a lady a ridiculous amount for checking the check engine light on her car. I really wanna give this shop great review. Unfortunately I have to be honest and say this shop is a price gouger. I had an electrical short in my engine harness. They took about a week total to figure it out when they had extra time to do it but my problem is the original verbal quote was $300.00 which was a lot of money to me at the time. The mechanic told me hed take as much off as he could to get the price lower saying about $200+. When he fixed it he said I owed $750 due to the difficulty of the location of the harness. He also charged me for a coil which I had already replaced the day before and he couldnt find the old one he said it got thrown out.!?!! The work was done right but they are as shady as the Seattle sky!

So I went to this place because it was very close to my home and my clutch went out on my 2007 Honda Accord. So I brought my car here the The Union Auto Service. They came up with the amount that they would fix my clutch for. Which was 1300.00 or more!! WHICH I FOUND CRAZY! I had 600.00 dollars only on this day. Believing I would have enough to fix my car. They had said the reason why it would cost so much was because something internal was broken in the car and that they would have to remove my transmission in order to find out what that was. Okay people my ex husband has been a manager for an auto service for years. He told me that was crazy because no matter what they would have to move the transmission to get to the clutch anyway. So fact is I ended up stressing about this amount of money for a month and a half. Suffering and taking the bus to work. Which was a 2 hour bus ride. I finally ended up going down the street to another Auto place and asking how much to fix my clutch. THIS OTHER PLACE WITH HONEST MECHANICS. THEY FIXED MY CAR FOR ONLY $520.00 DOLLARS! Which is EXACTLY THE TRUE COST TO FIX A CLUTCH ON A 2007 HONDA ACCORD. So I successfully got my car fixed at another place down the street for way more cheaper. Plus they did show me the broken pieces which is part of the clutch. But due to those broken pieces they did not want to charge me extra like this Union Auto Service wanted too. This other Auto placeThey were honest and had integrity. So my message is for all of you woman out there. Please do your research before having your car fixed. There are some auto places like this place Union Auto Service that will take advantage of you and charge you more than double the price of what the true cost is to fix your car. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS PLACE! Today I needed a smog and this auto place is so close to my home and I didnt even want to take it here because I DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

Took my 2012 Toyota Tacoma for service. Needed electrical work as well as a new starter. They explained the process before hand and did a great job.

I came in to get a smog check and was quoted a discounted price that was supposed to include the certificate. Unfortunately, my car didnt pass the first time and I had to come back. I was then told I had to pay an additional fee for the certificate. I spoke to the owner and informed him that I was never told about the additional cost. He became very loud, defensive and didnt let me talk. I agreed to pay the added cost because Im a single mother of 3 and I could not afford to go to another shop and pay the full amount again for a smog check. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I was actually warned not to use this shop but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I deeply regret doing so.

Horrible. Family got towed there. Lots of promises with a large estimate. Once advised car and family member will be towed home they dropped the price. Taking advantage of a stranded traveler. Bad Karma. Then they charged $90 for the estimate.

This place robs you! Only come here if you have more money then you know what to do with. They were supposed to give me a discount for using AAA but charged me anyway for the towing and substracted the towing price that they shouldnt have charged me for in the first place. When I went to argue it they were extremely rude and refused to compensate. Charged $400 more of what they should have due to extra NEVER REQUESTED labor on the car. Ive heard from other people that they milk you for more, should have listened. They have rude customer service, reccomend going elsewhere.

My car inspected there but literally they did not do anything. And it cost me $120 for nothing. They are the worst service ever.edit after their review: the output of their full computer system scan is the car is just fine. Even if they are a member of AAA which means that they have # points pre-purchase inspection, they have no idea what these criteria are. And on AA system, it says pre-purchase inspection costs around 60-80 dollars, they charge you more! they are so-called AAA member!

I was a tow truck operator in this area for 8 years some of that time i towed for a AAA ICS (independent contract station). i dont know how this place is a AAA approved repair facility. i think AAA should send a undercover crew to see what how these people are really like. i would swear under oath and befour my god that these guys have on numerous occasions tried to con me into bringing people who need to be towed for mechanical reasons to them and they would give me a kick back. and on several occasions i have overheard the workers talking very loud and very aggressively to customers. i would not bring my vehicle here for any reason and when i had to tow people here i always wanted to tell people about these guys but i learned early on in the towing would just to relocate vehicles from point a to point b, not to get involved with peoples decision making process because it will come back and bite you in the butt.

The Management of this place is absolutely TERRIBLE, they will do anything to add on things you dont need and if they have to take a belt or fluids out they wont let you keep your old ones.The actual workers are seemingly good guys but like I said the Owner is just low and classless.Ive gone to them a few times this year, one big job and 2 small jobs and I was also going to have them change my flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate, on my car its a labor intensive job so they wouldve made a good amount. I had a quote from the Manager to do this but today when I tried to just get them to install a belt the Owner said that they dont do Clutches.Hmm seems like you lack integrity too there bud.Just asking for a simple belt install(the 2nd small job) that was already routed and everything, I just needed the tensioner released and the belt slipped over the last pulley, he wanted to charge me a $90 diagnostic fee + labor.WHAT A JOKEThey also replaced a front seal due to it being worn out and its still leaking......

Had a pully come off of my A/C system but didnt know it. They told me I needed a new A/C compressor at over $800. I declined and took it elsewhere, and they fixed it for 50 bucks. You dont mistake a missing pully for a broken compressor - this was a straight up attempt to fleece me for unnecessary repair. Will never return here.
