A very nice & clean facility! Attractive & great parking! They have 3 windows for service and a large variety of ice cream treats! The staff is awesome! Nice & pleasant & helpful and do a great job of keeping the place clean and organized! Reasonable prices and quality ice cream! We will definitely return on our way to camp!!
My husband and I stopped in a couple of days ago. The staff was so friendly I new there had to be new owners!The strawberry soft serve was delicious. The small cone was huge. We were very pleased with our experience. I am also to happy see that they now offer hard ice cream.
Food exceptionally good and small cafe atmosphere. It was a pleasure eating there. The presentation of the food was first class, good for a picture in a gourmet magazine! I highly recommend it.

Im used to Dairy Frost having the best ice cream of anybody by far. This time it was perfectly average. What I got on this visit just isnt worth it. I hope it goes back to the quality Im used to, though I suppose eating less ice cream is good too.
I used to love dairy frost under the old owners. However, opening day of this year (4/6/2021) we went and not one single employee was wearing a mask. The line was not social distanced, there were absolutely no precautions in place, and no one was enforcing any restrictions. It was really disappointing to see a community staple send a message of ignorance. I hope they listen to people’s concerns and show love by masking up.

It is a great place to get some good ice cream they have different flavors tired side twist they have it. The staff is very very very friendly. And it is cash only and if you do not have cash they have a cash machine on the side of the building.

As a resident of Broadalbin for the past 23 years of my life, I am HIGHLY disappointed that Dairy Frost decided to make a statement last night by not wearing masks during a PANDEMIC on their opening night. All three employees and an employee’s child were all maskless. They are handling all of their customers’ ice cream. 90% of the customers in line had masks on. There were maskless customers which is expected, and now those customers came into contact with employees with NO social distance and NO masks. Are you kidding me?? Go to Dollar General down the street and pick up a pack of masks. It’s been a year of this. Last summer you wore masks and now you decided not to. SHAME ON YOU DAIRY FROST. I get it, we all want to get out of this pandemic. Follow the guidelines mandated by New York State and we can get out of it sooner!!!!

Amazing ice cream. Very important to note... CASH ONLY! Theres a gas station across the street if you need an ATM (no idea if they offer cash back on purchases). The next important thing to note... they sell a variety of flavors for everything. Theyve got frozen yogurt, ice cream sandwiches, banana splits, sundaes, shakes, low fat, no fat, blizzards, different types of cones, etc. Its important to note that while they have a flavor of the day every day, you can get any shake flavor on any day. The flavors of the day are as follows... Monday is banana, Tues is coffee, Wed is orange-pineapple, Thur is pistachio, and Fri is lemon. The weekend flavors rotate: Black raspberry, red raspberry, and strawberry. The frozen yogurt flavors also change. If its a holiday on Mon, then the weekend flavor carries over.Their ice cream is amazing, they are cheap, and the portions are large. Its always worth a stop, especially if youre just passing through.

Pretty generic when it comes to an ice cream place but nothing beats the great service and the family friendly atmosphere. Ive been going since I was a kid and I honestly would choose it over any home made ice cream place its sentimental and the guy that runs the place is sweet as could be, but careful! the sizes are WAY bigger than you will expect! I cant even finish a small size cone now that Im an adult! they also have a beautiful gazebo to sit and eat ice cream along with the fact they keep the lawn mowed and flowers planted!

The ice cream they have is good, however, theres very limited selection here, usually with only one flavor of ice cream being offered in addition to the traditional vanilla, chocolate and twist. I dont trust their shakes, though. I got a raspberry shake one time and it tasted like Styrofoam.

Excellent place with a large variety of different flavors of icecream. Service might be a little slow, but what they lack is redeemed with the amount of icecream served. Their small cone is medium size compared to other places, and their medium is a large and so on.

My friends and I were super excited to get soft serve together for the last time before we all departed ways for college. We rushed to get there by 9:30, because the website says thats when they close, only to find that they close at 9. We are very disappointed and the employees completely ignored us even though there were still people standing outside with their freshly served ice cream in the parking lot. They couldve easily just opened the window and served us and sent us on our way!

Theyre Boston Shakes are messy pouring down the cups & offer 1 napkin. Then they said its my fault for putting the straw in wrong. It was an older woman that said that during the day so it may be the actual owner that doesnt even care. Its happened 3 times & its such a waste of money to make such a mess all over my car trying to salvage.

The creamiest, most consistent quality soft serve ice cream in the greater capital District. I drive over 30 minutes, especially on Tuesdays to get coffee flavor of the day!It is certainly the benchmark to compare any other softserve seasonal experience.My only reservation is they close a little early for my taste.

Supposed to open at 1pm. 1:30 lights are all on and windows are open. Cable is across the entrance.Note cable is hard to see until you are right in front of it, in a conjested area.Better off driving to Johnstown at least they open on time and don’t worry about people pulling into there parking lot.

If youre unfortunate enough to be waited on by the adults, youre in for a very curt, no-nonsense, no-questions-are-to-be-asked, bordering-on-rude, kind of time. I dont know if this family keeps this place running out of some long-standing obligation, or if they simply dont like people, but youd think someone is forcing them to run this place since theyre so unfriendly.Its a shame, because the ice cream isnt bad and the prices are okay--and youd never know it, since they dont advertise... much of anything, but apparently its made with local milk--or so says their website which hasnt been updated since they celebrated a big anniversary some years ago.The youth that works there are always chipper and polite, just what youd expect from a seasonal stand like this, a stark contrast to the aforementioned adults.On top of the typical, theres a weekly-changing ice cream flavor, and one Dole Whip flavor, but youre basically in for a penny, in for a pound with that, since they only advertise them directly on the window since theres next-to-no online presence, and zero roadside-signage (something that Udderly at least has going for it). When youre already up to the order window, thats when youll know if you want the standard flavors, or if theres another option.

4/30 went to Dairy Frost today; old man only person working; was RUDE, NASTY and MEAN to customers; his customer service skills EXTREMELY POOR; he should be fired on the spot. Will never go back there again.

Horrible customer service from the owner. He argued with me on a mistake that he clearly made and made me assume responsiblty. Hes a mean nasty old man and treats his customers so bad. I will never go back to that place. And the icrecream isnt even that good.
They double charged me because the girl made me the wrong ice cream and I had her remake it. I didn’t realize till after I paid that she had charged me for both ice creams even though she only gave me one. When I went back to complain both her and the owner said it was my fault for ordering the wrong thing and that she had told me she had to charge me for both. She never said this to me. The owner rather than handling it inflamed the situation by insisting I was wrong. Very poor customer service! I will never go back there again
