Wonderful experience, I came in looking for a back brace for heavy lifting, to use at work. The staff was friendly and when they saw that I needed help a couple employees came over immediately, offering me assistance. I was able to find the brace I needed for only 19.99$ and was also able to find a knee brace for a family member who has been looking for one for quite some time. I loved the staff and will continue to shop here after my wonderful experience.

Have shopped at this location many times, most recently for shoes and had a great experience. Well lit shoe area (this one feels extra bright, which is nice) this the seats facing the shoe wall so you can look at all the shoes while trying on a pair. Staff was happy to get all the different styles and sizes and prompt even though there were several of us trying on shoes.They also have good sale prices and an e-exclusive club for those who give them their email address, where you get daily deal coupons. For a relatively small sports store, they have a lot of options.

Bought a trampoline there but it was missing some parts. But the employees and the customer service are phenomenal

Went in to get shoes did not see anybody to help me, then when I did they were helping people that got there after me. They just flat out ignored the fact I was even there. I found 1 pair of shoes but wanted different pair they were not on the floor. So in the end I only got 1 pair of shoes instead of 2 pairs like I wanted

So this is on me, but I bought the wrong product lol. Thing is, the staff described what I was looking for to a T. They said that they didn’t have that item, but they had another item that was almost identical to the one I bought. Like I said, I screwed up, so that’s on me, but all the staff on April 10 deserves the biggest raises and the biggest praises. Big love to all of them.

I was sad to see Sports Authority go out of business and realize Big 5 was now our only option in town. But, surprisingly they really stepped up their game (pun intended) and have become a great little go to store for our sports needs. They always have some coupon available to help save a little extra and I have had no issues if I need to return something. Good job Big 5!

Afortable products with decent quality. Weekly sales give variety to the shopping experience. Decent athletic shoes can be found for as little as $20. They carry athletic apparel for all stages from novice to experienced. Something for everyone.

Ive always loved Big 5 Sporting Goods store. They always have Great deals. The Employees are always polite and helpful.

So what constitutes the 5 in Big 5? So I had a question about the differences between girl shoe sizes and boy shoe sizes. Either the explanation from the high school kid was way too advanced for my tiny brain or he forgot what he was talking about 2 seconds into his explanation.

Staff here seems to always be different people every 6 months, but they are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Their prices are OK, but their sales are AMAZING! I have gotten some really AWESOME bargains here by looking at their sales flyer on their website and then going into their store. One of the BEST places in town for shoes!

Will go here from now on!

Good place for sports equipment of all kinds

Lots of good stuff packed into this little store. Weve always had good experiences here. Past purchases include baseball/softball equipment, knives, shoes, basketball hoop, and chairs to mention a few. Would recommend.

The people who work there are always helpful! Also, I really appreciate the coupons!

My son was excited about the great selection of soccer cleats. Along with the selection, sales and coupons also made the visit productive. It was the first place we visited look for cleats and turned out to be the last place as well.

Relating to outdoor stuff they have a great inventory! If I cant find it anywhere else more than likely they will have it in stock and for a reasonable price!

Tons of stuff for men and youth but extremely lacking on the womens options. I have to pick between youth larges or shop mens stuff if Im looking for more then a sports bra and leggings. No greeting and no help unless you go looking for it. Three stars because one employee did help me when I asked and was nice plus I did walk away with mens items that will work. The other two employees were quite lazy sitting up front while I could tell customers needed help. Really unfortunate considering they are one of the few sports stores around and used to be one of my favorite places to shop. Hopefully they will see the potential this place has before they are gone too.

Stopped in for a little Christmas shopping. Big 5 in Idaho Falls no longer carries snowboarding items. Seems a little weird for Idaho. Not much else in there to look at other than clothes.

These guys were amazing! My daughter got a gift for Christmas that was too small. No hesitations, they let her exchange it for something else. Excellent staff!!!

I am giving them a 4 because they didnt have cards. I have a 1 year old son, and I was going in to buy 2 larger items. However, Someone did ask and help me out to the car. Thank goodness I also had my stroller.

The gentleman in the shoe department was really helpful. Otherwise, the rest of the employees act like your not visible.

Went to check out some shoes they had on sale and no one was around. We walked all the way to the back and never saw a single employee. We had to yell hello is anyone here several times before someone came out of the back. They didnt apologize but said do you want something?. Im surprised they are still in business with the way they run their business. We did not buy the shoes and will be getting them at another store.

Way overpriced. Asked a mngr once about an item I purchased for 100.00 less elsewhere, got told they charge California prices. Company policy. Service has always been wonderful though.

They had a nine pump when I needed one before a big freestyle show in the parking lot next door. -it was expensive, but had worked upuntil the time the glass broke on the gauge. The store had higher prices than Walmart, but better selection for the sports enthusiast. They dont cater to bmx much at all, so I dont frequent the place in any respect.

I have lots of trouble finding shoes my size, because most brands only have size 6 and up in women, and Im a size 5. But a staff member helped me hind some shoes in my size of course we had no luck in women shoes so he suggested me to try in the kids area (something that I dont really like to do but oh well) and well I found a pair. That made my day, because most of the time I go to shoe stores and come home empty handed.
