The pharmacy is a complete joke!!! When you read a bottle and it says take 1 and a half and the pharmacy only gives you full sized ones and tells you on the phone that they expect you to cut it with a butter knife at home... I had my medications switched once over to them and I get the wrong stuff... they have really gone down hill and I would highly recommend going somewhere else for your prescription needs. There are few staff members there that do a good good job and I appreciate them... but Half of these people are rude and donot offer a solution.
Judging from all of the other one star reviews, this one will probably fall on deaf ears but we have been very disappointed in the last couple of days with this Walgreens. We used to go here primarily for medication but have run into quite a few snags as of late. Today the pharmacist or technician was too busy working on her cell phone to be able to adequately help me with my purchase. I finally asked her if I could have my product and take it up front where they were not on their cell phone. When on the phone with them, it gets transferred to a national Walgreens who cannot help you and has to transfer you back to the local store to be able to provide any assistance.
Sitting in line tonight from 6:15pm-now 7pm. The person at the drive through doesn’t seem to know where my prescription is. Just left me sitting here. Super slow service. Not impressed at all. I’m sure everyone behind me is mad as well. Called the store manager at 7:05pm and complained. She could care less.10/10/21 And again here I sit again 3:40-4:30 waiting. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt but now it’s time to move on to another pharmacy. 50 minutes is a long time to wait.
Came in here looking for contact cases. Think that would be simple enough. No one was there to help me at all. Had to wait in line in pharmacy for over 15 minutes just to ask where they were. Overpriced contact case. One case is $4. Will not be getting my business with customer service like that, and ridiculous prices
I’d give them negative stars if I could. This pharmacy is horrible! Every time I come here, I leave frustrated. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if they make you wait for an hour for a flu shot!
It was fast clean and not to expensive, the pharmacy inside is always great as well and it is a great place especially for a quick pit stop.
Trying to get a hold of them don’t pick up their phone drive-through wait times can be over two hours very poor service very unsatisfied
Good location. Kim is the best. Super helpful associate and one of the coolest people Ive met.
Always fast on getting my scripts filled. I go around midnight, the pharmacist that works the night shift is always nice and always has a smile. He is very fast and answers all questions.
HORRIBLE COVID PCR TEST My niece tested on Saturday for airline required covid test. They did not send her test to the lab until Tuesday, which is the day the flight left. My niece missed her flight because Walgreens failed to communicate.
Terrible service takes a long time at the pharmacy. 😡 bad service
Not sure what the guy that posted the negative review was on but this Walgreens is awesome . They are friendly and always helpful and never rude. this is where my family gets all our items from and never once had a problem .
Love the store, and the pharmacy is generally great to work with and friendly. That being said the drive thru pharmacy is horrible. I dont know if its because people insist on waiting while their scripts are being filled or what the problem is but If it cant be done in 5 min you need to go in the store and they need to regulate the wait times better
The pharmacy messed up my covid pcr test and made it so I missed my international flight. Got tested on Saturday and they didnt get the sample to the lab until Tuesday. Then the lab says I wont get results back until Thursday at the earliest.
Usually walgreens has many good points BUT for this stores pharmacy staff and lab reporting... TWO F- GRADESI seemed to be cutting into the staffs personal time to get tested via drive thu pharmacy. Not good customer serviceStill waiting for Covid test results WHEREAS three other family members at three separate locations GOT results back AND I was the first tested BY-A-DAY. And all PCR test.MY feeling is government funded testing maximized cash collected... minimized effort put forth.
The pharmacy staff is condescending. I refill prescriptions there on a monthly basis and each time, almost without exception, they act like they have never filled a prescription before. It always feels like I’ve inconvenienced them by refilling prescriptions there. I only use this pharmacy because it’s always open.
After spending the day with my son at a nearby Emergency Room, I went to Walgreens to pick up a critical prescription. When I arrived I discovered the prescription, after insurance, was $1,200.00. I was devastated, without the medication my son would end up back in the ER! The pharmacist worked with me to get enough pills for the night and helped me install and use Good RX to find the a better price at a nearby Pharmacy the next day. This saved me over $1,000.00 dollars.
Great location and hours, poor customer service from Maryann (not sure spelling). Will be bringing this to the attention of her superior. Disappointed in what transpired, as I have always appreciated having a 24 hour store close by for last minute emergency needs.
Absolute trash…the slowest service…
The pharmacy is terrible. I have been going there the last few months due to my work schedule but I am going somewhere else after a horrible experience. I have one prescription that I take daily and they make it so difficult. One month they didnt fill it because they assumed that where they couldnt bill insurance that I wouldnt pay out of pocket for it, they didnt call to confirm anything. One month they didnt have it in stock but didnt call me then either. I have an account where you can sign up for reminders and what not but they kept that as pending until after I had called them. Last month I called to see if they had gotten it and they told me no but they actually had it, my nurse practitioner had the time the prescription was sent electronically. Today was the final straw. They lost my medication and its a controlled substance. We waited 30 or more minutes while they were running around trying to find it. My boyfriend asked for his id to be returned and a refund issued, that didnt happen, they just kept trying to look for it but ended up filling a new one. If they are losing a controlled substance then what else is going on there? Nonstop issues and Im done. The store itself is good but the pharmacy is terrible.
The staff at this Walgreens is NOT trained. I’ve been here many times the last three times the clerks are rude about you even asking for help or simple questions. Blatantly rude and not helpful. Save yourself and shop online. They shouldn’t have jobs here. I’ve asked them questions and they always answer “We don’t have that.” (When on the app it says they do). “We can’t do that.” (When fedex says they are a drop off point and I’m showing the clerk an email that verifies they do in fact take fed ex packages) “we don’t know how to do that.” But They offer no help and never ask management for assistance if they don’t know how to do something. Who is training these people? Do not use this location.
Thank you for having Pharmacists like Richard! He is always upbeat and personable, not to mention genuine about it. He’s makes it a pleasant experience. They always have what I need on hand, even when it’s something unexpected even while pharmacies have a shortage! Plus, working 24 hours on holidays too. News Eve & New Years Day they handled the rush and customer traffic impressively! I drive from N Rigby just to visit this location. Thank you!
Best PharmacyIve ever shopped at. Always very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store to everyone.
I stood at the picture counter for over 15 minutes and no one came and helped me. I understand the store was busy but this is poor customer service on the managers part. If you are going to have peak hours, the manager needs to schedule accordingly. It is unacceptable to have a customer stand for so long without being helped out. Having to wait is one thing but for that long without anyone helping is ridiculous.
I love Walgreens but this specific store has some of the rudest customer service associates, especially if you go in after midnight.
Ive been goin to this drugstore long enough that Im getting to know some of the staff. Always friendly. And the folks in the pharmacy work their bottoms off. Theres a fairly decent greeting card selection here too. Peace.
My favorite Wallgreens location in Idaho Falls! It is always clean, staff is very friendly. I never have to wait very long. And Doyle is the best checker! He is very friendly and helpful!
I love stopping by to get a quick drink and a snack. also it has the widest verity in Batteries Ive ever seen. They are the only people in Idaho Fall that I could find with AAAA Battery which I needed for my surface pro pen. I love that I can walk in get what I need and check out with in a like a minute or 2. Its nice, organized, and the service is amazing. Doesnt seem to matter when I drop in they are always quick and friendly. I love our Walgreens!
We have been pleased with our service at Walgreens and are glad they and the pharmacy are open 24 hrs.
Mom takes twi sick children straight from urgent care to this Pharmacy for prescriptions. Both children have the same exact medical insurance, and have had ONE insurance their entire lives. But the tech tells mom that one childs insurance presented is secondary not primary so mom has to pay $53 out of pocket for something she could have picked up at urgent care for $20, had she known that this was going to be an issue. The child has one Insurance; the tech had to have coded something wrong. Now mom is going to have to wait weeks to get reimbursed from the insurance company. Granted, mom could have delayed getting medication for her child and waited until Walmart or Fred Meyer was open the following day, because they tend to employ competent people that would not have made an error. But what Mom wants to delay medication for her sick child?
I needed 3 prescriptions for my daughter that were called in 45 minutes prior to me getting to the pharmacy. I looked at the app to see the status and it said all were recieved. When I pulled up to the window I was told an additional 30 minutes and they would be done. I waited back in the drive thru line for an hour only to be told they were not done and I needed to wait 5 more minutes. After waiting I only recieved one of the prescriptions and was told it was going to be an additional 20 minutes. I understand times are tough right now but when my daughter is depending on these prescriptions to breath, lying to your customers is not the way to handle it. Now I have to go back tomorrow and hope they are done then because I wasnt going to put my daughter through anymore time sitting in line. Very disappointed. Ive never had any problems here.
I love the placement of the soap dispenser
If I could give this pharmacy a negative I would... the only reason I continue to go is because it’s the only one open 24 hours... they seem to never have anything in stock and they don’t tell you either until you get there and have to leave and come back only to find they still don’t have it...there’s always a problem with insurance it seems and for some reason it’s only Walgreens...seriously it’s the worst pharmacy in Idaho falls
I recommend bringing in a paper prescription referral from your doctor, as that is the quickest way to have it filled. Theyve always been timely when I have brought that in. When the doc sent it in, it took a little longer.
Fast service
They told me it would take 20 minutes and it has taken over 45 minutes to fill my prescription. I understand busy, just tell me the honest time to begin with.
Went to pick up a new Rx for the first time and when they rang it up the pharmacist with blonde hair said it was going to be over $400 for one prescription. I asked if she ran it through my insurance and I was told that was after insurance. I told her I couldnt afford that and I would have to call my doctor in the morning to find an affordable option. She looked me in the face and rudely said well you should have known that before I spent the last hour filling your prescription. I said its a new prescription and I dont know anyone who can afford over $400 for 1 Rx after insurance, the rest of my Rxs 12 of them are around $150 total for a 90 day supply but this one is over $400 for 30 days, thats more than my car payment and youre mad I cant afford it. I just drove off, she was so insensitive and rude. Id go somewhere else but theyre the only 24/7 pharmacy. I should just switch to Walmart, their pharmacists are always so nice and willing to help no matter how busy they are.
Their policy is ridiculous. They ran our medicaid wrong and tried to charge us for anti-nausea medication for my 3-year-old. Then, when he fixed it, he still had to do something with the prescription (I can only assume it was in their system), which he told me would only take about 5 minutes. Then he made me pull around to the back of the line - again - where I had to wait FORTY-FIVE MINUTES with a 3-year-old who had the flu. It was absolutely the most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen.Maybe - just saying - the practice of sending people through the line TWO times doesnt help clear the line any faster.
The only place I could find that does 24-hour photos. Photos were a bit pricey -- 4x6s were $0.33 each (versus $0.13 at Sams or Walmart), but excellent service. The photo lady, Margarita, was awesome, helping me for quite a while adjusting colors. Thanks again!
A nice location, with other shopping nearby. The staff are very nice. The pharmacy is always fast. The photo department prints great photos.
Rude employees, not helpful whatsoever. They lost my card I had on file so I could not pick up my prescriptions while I was extremely sick, fresh off a week stay in the hospital. No apologies, no care whatsoever. Never again!
This place is awful. I dropped my prescription off at 8:30 and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I came by at 9:30 and they said 15 more minutes......it’s 9:57 and I’m still waiting. Last time I came they didn’t even have the antibiotic I needed. To top it all off, their prices are about 4X as much as anywhere else. Check out the app GoodRx. It gives you all the prices for your prescription everywhere nearby so you can get the best deal. I’ll never come here again it’s not worth the drive-through window.
Never have good experiences with this pharmacy and I stupidly keep giving them another chance after several months or a year. They just dont seem to even care about customer service as they are inefficient as careless.
Only person in the store and still have to wait 30 minutes for a flu. Don’t recommend Walgreens for a flu shot.
Went in to get cigarettes and she refused to sell me them because Im not 21. She literally sold me cigarettes 5 days ago. She also watched me stand at the register for about 5 minutes until she came to check me out. Very rude and grumpy. Old, short grey hair.
By far the worst pharmacy I have ever filled prescriptions at, they are the rudest uncaring staff! These so called professionals treat people like scum! I have never been treated so horrible in my life! Not a single person in that pharmacy is polite nor caring they are rude judgmental and unkind! Shame on all of you for thinking your better than anyone!
The staff is very friendly. Ive had good experience with the pharmacy expect when in the drive thru when the tall young boy eorks and never asks if I have a rewards card, it should be mandatory to ask customers if they are rewards members just like in all other stores in all other states. I ended up having to wait for it to be corrected
This Walgreens over prices everything even the one just down 17th is better. Better staff better pharmacy better place to shop. This wallgreens needs a change
Let me describe a normal visit. Doctor calls in your prescription. A few hours later you go to Walgreens to pick it up but once you get there they tell you they never got it or JUST got it. They tell you to come back in an hour or so. So you come back in an hour and after waiting in line the person at the desk looks confused and says something like Oh it looks like it did not get scanned in correctly. It will be just another 12-15 minuets. So you sit in their waiting room for another 40 minuets until it is done. Welcome to the Ammon Walgreens.
Worst pharmacy Ive ever had to deal with. Their automatic phone message calls you and says you have a prescription ready, you go in and they have nothing for you. I was told 3 different dates when I could renew my prescription. Plus Im from TN and when I picked up a prescription they told me my drivers license was in the bag, I got home NO license. I went back and was rudely talked to that they put them in my bag. This was after they looked through a stack of drivers licenses. It forced me to get an Idaho license which I lost my TN gun permit, and a few others. When I went to the DMV and told them my story they said let me guess wallgreens . I will never do business with them again and I urge others to stay away. Very rude and hateful people who dont have a clue what they are doing.
Passport photos are quite expensive. Staff is really helpful. Short lines.
Friendly service. Its the only late night pharmacy around so if you will wait a while if it wasnt filled ahead of time.
20 dollars for burn cream and 20 dollars for childrens Tylenol with codeine. Are you freaking kidding me? Thats outrageous! And they wont accept my insurance because of some childish spat with Blue Cross of Idaho? What a joke. Walgreens is one of the worst corporations in existence along with Blue Cross of Idaho. Price gouging like this is absolutely horrendous.
Worst Pharmacy ever two weeks ago I waited 3 hours for my daughters Nystatin 6 faces and a phone call later they finally fill it by then I had gone to Walmart and got it faster. Now theyre refusing to give me my daughters antibiotic for her ear infection this will be the last time I will ever come to this Walgreens Id rather go to Walmart instead of this hell-hole 1 star more like -5. One pissed-off mom right now
Wow horrible burn that place already 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
The pharmisist just walked away from me... Mid sentence
Yeah, we have propane, but youll have to wait until tomorrow, its closed today.Sounds like someone doesnt like doing their job.
Today was finally the last straw with this Walgrens, and if you can chose a different pharmacy I would do so. I received a text that my prescription was filled and read so I went to get it. I than waited in the drive-thru, which is supposed to be fast, for over 30 minutes! I though that the drive thru was supposed to be quick, and if you needed to consult the Pharmacist you are supposed to go in, apparently that means nothing to these guys. So I waited and when I finally got to the window they told me it wasnt even ready yet. Dont send the text if its not READY!! on top of that as soon as I got out of the parking lot I received another text saying it was done. If I could go to a different pharmacy right now I would, but sadly Im stuck here for now. This is probably the last time though. This is a repeating problem with both my wife and I with this Walgrens, seriously, go someplace else if you can.
I have had nothing but issues with a few staff there! I have been treated awful no matter what! I have also called and complained and still treated the same! I can’t believe they don’t seem to care about how the patients are treated here! I am so upset with how poorly I am treated!
Worst customer service I have ever seen. As I am telling the lady what is up with my insurance she hangs the phone up on me in discuss. Customer service is what keeps me going back to places. So ya probably wont see me again.
There fast on refilling my prescription
The pharmacist looked at my insurance card and told me they didnt take Blue Cross and handed it back. My insurance isnt Blue Cross, its Blue Shield. He was too grouchy and lazy to even put it in the computer. It is the Worst place to go for medicine!
Its alright. Ever been to a Walgreens? Its like that.
How is it that with 10 people in pharmacy it still taks forever to get help
Worst Walgreens ever. Waited over 2 hours for amoxicillin.
Well stocked and clean
Always a long wait to pick up prescriptions.
Sandra at the front checkout has a stick up her old ass!
The pharmacy is slower then molasses!!!
I like this location
Its wal greens
It is the only pharmacy open 24 hours and you can find a little of everything
