I would stay far, far away. The sales process was good with John and Dorothy. They care. It is the after sale that has been horrific. From day one, May 15, my docking light switch and fresh water switch were bad. I cannot use either. I have asked for the switches to be ordered and I keep getting a run around. They said a few weeks ago that,” their rep would call them On Tuesday and they would then be in touch with a update. NOTHING! I have called, e-mailed with no response. I reached out to aLocal Robalo dealer who was more than accommodating as they are the samecompany as Chaparral. They researched the information, ordered and already have the new switches and are installing them. I would drive to Connecticut next time if I purchase another Chapparal so that I do not have the continued aggravation again with this dealership. Stay away!! Trust the negative reviews and learn from my mistake. They just don’t care after the sale and the sad part is you’re dealing with the owner who does not give two hoots.

Not a good place to buy a boat. Promise you the world then leave you stranded as soon as you buy it. Bought a boat 2yrs ago have a hard time getting in touch to fix warranty items

BUYER BEWARE! George sold me a chaparral 2,5 years ago with a newer 5.8 ltr V8 engine. I went off the pictures theyd posted, looked really great but at arrival for pick up, it turned out not at all what theyd posted online. The older pics didnt reveal some damage on the starboard hull either and of course they never mentioned the non operational stove, non operational water heater and why theres always standing water down the steps when you enter the cabin. The toilet had been replaced for a chemical one since the original had stopped working, we guess..duh.The deal was done so we couldnt go back on it but we should warn buyers for their shady business practice. Its nothing to them since youre just buying an older used boat instead of a shiny new boat but it hurts non the less.They seemed nice folks, but if you see a used boat here that you like..check it out thoroughly, in person because you cant take their word for it. ASK FOR RECENT PICS, DATE STAMPED, if you see something on the internet you like from them, because you cant fully trust them, unfortunately. Buyer Beware!

They sell Sea Hunt boats, how bad can this place be?Im interested in stepping up to a Sea Hunt; Ive only been to the marina once, but I liked the floating dock setup, convenient location, and once the sales staff knew I was serious, they were very nice and helpful.

Sales, service, the gas dock everybody here is nice polite on time, straightforward and the same price as gypsy boatyards. They have the staff and parts in stock

Sales people are great. After that, good luck. Service is horrible, as they are both incompetent and rude. Expect to be lied to and cursed at. Buy your boat elsewhere.
