The guys in there were very knowledgeable and not pushing for a sale. I would recommend them if you want to buy a good product from a local dealer.

My family and I bought a new home where we were in the need of a new lawn tractor. I did some research and with having John Deeres in my family, I decided that was the way to go for us. We were on our way home and stopped at the Amherst st store and met with Al. He was full of knowledge that helped steer me in the right direction. Al was very polite to my wife and two toddlers. He let my son sit on what then turned into my new x350. He explained the features and benefits of the x350 and I could not be more pleased with my experience. It just got delivered today flawlessly and the delivery driver was informative as well. I even stopped by later the same day after I received my x350 and immediately felt like family there. I bought my X584 from Al in 2016 and I had to travel 45 minutes one way because the dealer near me would take my trade in so that shows the respect that I have for this dealer. I bought a plow and some accessories also. I spoke to a sale person Jeff today and asked a question that two other John Deere dealers didnt want to take the time and answer. I guess what I am saying if you need great service and sales then chose this dealer. Thanks guys

Geoff and Wayne presented the equipment very well at Nashua Outdoor Power and Equip. They educated me on its operation and attachments enough to make very comfortable purchasing a 1025r Sub compact tractor. This thing is a great piece of equipment and really enjoy is capabilities. Absolutely horrible experience. They picked up my lawn tractor to repair it in late October / early November of 2017. I was informed that I would get it back within 2-3 weeks as I was hoping to still apply a winter fertilizer. Three weeks later, I called them and they lost me and my tractor in their database. They then called me back a month later saying that they had begun working on my tractor. I asked them about the 2-3 week turn-around and they informed me that winter repair were taking precedence so I would have to wait. Another month or so later (February at this point), they informed me that it was repaired and ready for drop off. I inquired about any sort of discount due to all the issues and time and the manager rudely shut me down. I then proceeded to rate them in a manner similar to what I am posting right now. When the post was submitted, I received a call from the Manager asking me to remove it in which he would then work with me regarding a reduced price - in which he did, however, it wasnt all that significant of a reduction. Jump to current time (late May 2018), I have used my lawn tractor on two weekends and during the second use, the issue returned just as bad if not worse before I took it to them.

Awesome, Al explained everything and was very helpful through the whole purchase.Had one problem with tractor which I addressed with assistance from their service guys, took 5 minutes to repair a loose bracket from factory, they gave me some goodies for taking care of it myself.Als son is now at Nashua store doing maintenance also very easy to deal with and very helpful.Thanks Guys

Not a happy pre sales experience! Was down played and constantly contradicted whenever asked a question. Sales rep characterized himself as a well wisher while adding extra costs into the quote that didn’t match the original manufacturer quote online. He also portrayed himself as doing me a favor by not passing down costs that the manufacturer charged his store for using John Deere credit, thus throwing John Deere company under the bus!!Got a great deal and experience elsewhere.Don’t recommend them due to this bad overall experience.

Stopped in to inquire about leaf baggers for a riding John Deere mower. Sales rep was not helpful when I asked him to educate me on options, stating, “ Your question worries me, I don’t have them here, would have to build it....” Felt unwelcome. So much for supporting local businesses. Off to the big box stores.

I had to visit both locations due to the fact I had removed a part from a lawnmower that I needed to replace. I didnt even know what the part was other than it appeared to be a solenoid. The employees at both locations were sooo helpful and knowledgeable! I got the part I needed and I am so thankful!

Ive bought all of my outdoor power equipment here including tractor, 2 weedeater/ brushcutter, chainsaw, backpack blower, and various attachments. Ive had great experiences from sales, parts, and service departments.

Hard dock to back into for trucks. Blindside backing with traffic flowing. Good staff in the back though.

Went in to get a belt for my snowblower. Wasnt until I reached the parts counter that the sales guy tucked away in the corner acknowledged me and had a bad attitude when I asked if they had snowblower belts. Said he was going to need a whole lot of info to see if they had the correct belt. Scoffed at me when I showed him a picture on my phone of the model number on the back of the blower, said they dont carry anything besides John Deer parts; could of told me that first thing. Said Id be better off going to the other store in Nashua. I said thats what Im planning since they are good people there.

Stopped in to inquire about a plug for a generator. Sales clerk was a total condescending DB. Will never shop there again

Not a good place to shop. I went there this summer to look for garden tractors and left with a impression that I would best describe as mixed.Asked a few question about the S240 garden tractor and the salesperson tried to steer me towards the X series, with the argument that the engine would be better in the X350 (I believe that was the model, but not 100% sure), even though it looks the same under the hood. Guess what, it took about 2 min of research on the JD website to find out that the engine is exactly the same. I am not sure why a salesperson would give out false info, when it is so easy to research this now.Nothing wrong with upselling. I asked about pricing and the salesperson told me that they only sell at MSRP. In addition when I asked about delivery charge and mentioned that the delivery is free when I order over the JD website from dealership the delivery changer is waived, it he wouldn’t waive it when I order from him. his argument was that he would not get commission if I order from the website, as if that was my concern. I guess you can buy here if you like the used car salesperson experience, otherwise go somewhere else.I later found out that the saleperson (Al) is the owner. LOL
