Ive been here a few times, the staff is always friendly and they have a good selection!

I hesitate to leave an honest review for fear of calling too much attention to this gem. I moved to the area from Brooklyn NY, the Mecca of consignment shops, but nothing there compares to M & C. It is hands-down the best consignment shop I’ve ever been to. There is an abundance of high quality designer clothes, all in good condition and the prices are great. The store itself is a warm and inviting environment with friendly staff.I love this place thank you!

Such an AMAZING store to shop. The items are quality and it is great to not support the fast fashion industry and be a little greener. I have received so many compliments on items, like my timeless vintage Coach cross body that was $15 or a brand new pair of Birkenstock for $32.It may take some browsing but you can always find something, most of the time something you wouldnt find elsewhere. This includes several different product lines made my local artisans.The online and curbside option is amazing and my mother utilized it through out the months the store was closed to customers. Now that it is open, the store is comfortable to shop while staying distant from other shoppers.I truly LOVE this store, that offers so much to the community is has built! Definitely worth checking out if you like thrift and eclectic wears!

Great place to bring your unwanted clothes, and other saleable items that are with in the parameters of consignment. Lots of womens, mens, kids clothing and other useable items at a lower cost than new ones. Most are like new. Plus they also provide a vast array of craft items that are made by local artist, and I am one of them. My hand made items are gallery quality without the high % increase that you would pay at other local galleries in the area. Check them out and see for yourself.

Absolutely LOVE this store! SUPER clean, smells nice, EXTREMELY well-organized, and just an overall pleasant shopping experience. Prices can sometimes be a bit off (as in, an item from Wal-Mart seems to be priced higher than what it would be new at the store), but they HAVE gotten much better with this and prices seem to be more reasonable in recent months. Very friendly staff, too! I consign here myself on occasion!

Its always a treat coming here, this store has become my go-to place for clothes and other fun things since I moved to the area a number of years ago. We have found so many cute and unique pieces for myself and my daughter over the years that we loved, along with some hard to find staple items that I would have had to do without if it wasnt for M&C! Thanks for all you do!

I can’t believe it took me YEARS to shop here! Brought in some items for consignment (after making an appt online) and it was super easy. Impressed by the variety, brands and quality of the goods... Mother and Child is a thrift mecca!

M&C is literally my all time favorite place to shop. As a 40ish year old women I don’t always know which department I should be shopping. This store makes it very easy for me. I hadn’t worn jeans in over 15 years yet I was able to find two pairs at M&C on the same day! They are my favorite jeans! There is something for everyone, no matter what age or style. Consigning is super easy. I highly recommend it. Don’t forget to be kind and patient to fellow shoppers!

Ive been shopping here for over 20 years. Started for the baby/ childrens clothes when my kids were young and now enjoy shopping the womens and sporting goods. Its a great resource to keep my purchases local and sustainable!

Pretty fun consignment shop with a good selection! My only real issues are that it really seems to only have smallish sizes and finding sizes can be a bit of a half because some items are grouped by style and some items are grouped by size and its a bit of a maze. Also it seems a bit pricey since new and consigned things are mixed about the store. However it it does have a great hippie vibe where most consignment stores around the area are just junk shops in disguise.

Ive been a customer of yours since day one (literally).. my mom brought us to your original store when we were little and weve been coming there ever since, and now 30 years later I shop for my little one. First I just want to say I love the new location and setup and your employees are always super friendly and helpful - I love that! However, I wish you were consistent on items that you do/do not accept and your pricing was better.Its your policy that there are many brands that you dont accept, and I completely understand your reasoning for that, but I nevertheless always see tons of those brands on your racks. Just the other week we tried to consign some Champion leggings there and were told that you never accept that brand -- even though I had bought those exact leggings from you (and lots of other Champion items too).These days the only time I can justify buying anything at M&C is if I have store credit, otherwise I find it’s often too expensive. I really believe if you came down on your prices, even a bit, a lot more would sell. I dont know how many times Ive put items back on the rack because it was priced way too high, and with or without store credit I didn’t want to pay that much for it.Overall I love M&C!! I just wish there was a bit more consistency and better pricing ;)

I would have to say, I have consigned here and bought here and think this business model is awesome; they are still in business because the market demands it! My sister loves to shop here when visiting from California! Dont get hung up on your stuff not being received they have only so much space and they know what people are buying! I love that my visits have always been pleasant! I have treated my daughter a new nursing mom to things more affordable because this shop exists to sell what was gently used! It is about a bigger picture of reuse and helping others too! This shop does all that EXTREMELY WELL! I am a proud sponsor and buyer! Thanks for your effort to make our corner of the world better! This place has changed so much over the years. I miss the quaintness. It used to be such a comfortable place to shop. Nowadays, M&C is becoming more and more experimental and contemporary.

The best thrift store around! I consign my clothes here and I come from Boston. The Last time I stopped in I made 200.00. Yea Haw!

We found so many things for my fiance here! He really enjoyed shopping here, and I thought everything seemed like excellent quality that he had purchased. I was a little disappointed to not find anything in my sizes, as I normally shop in plus size womens.

Youve got to visit this consignment store. It has a nice mens selection section and really great staff that dont bug you! Theyre also very helpful. Just so you know, you must call ahead and schedule a drop off for consigned garments.

Great selection although a little pricey for the condition of some items. I usually find the best deals on shoes rather than clothing. Many of the clothing items I’ve purchased have had stains or tears that I didn’t catch while in the poorly lit dressing rooms. I’ve had people walk in on me in the dressing rooms multiple times or I’ve caught someone staring at me through the many holes in the wall from the dressing rooms on either side. Since I do not live close by, it’s not worth the risk to buy the items and try them on at home. Most of the employees are nice, but I’ve had a few run-ins with two individuals that were extremely rude- both in person and on the phone. I’ve called in to the store twice now to discuss consigning and the older (sounding) lady I’ve spoken with on the phone has been harsh and impolite both times. This store has great potential but I’m not inclined to make any more special trips or go out of my way to visit any time soon.

Although I love coming to this store its not what it once was. Now the prices are higher for second hand items, spend just a few dollars more and get it brand new. And really picky about consigned items. I had a practically brand new name brand dress worn 3 times and they turned it away for looking faded except thats just the particular design.

This is like goodwill but worse. A company that gets clothes for free and sells them as new. This type of marketing should be criminal honestly. The only difference between this place and good will is that you can get credit for bringing in clothes, to buy new clothes with...if your clothes ever sell that is... which most likely they wont because their prices are outrageous.

The place for quality used clothing, for kids, women, and even men. A nice selection of new clothing and gifts as well. Absolutely worth a visit!

Very disappointed on trying to consign some jeans. I brought in a few pairs of Express Jeans and they were turned down. Said they wouldnt sell and the real funny thing, they said the Express label inside was fading. Really? As I browsed through the store, I most certainly didnt find all top of the line items that looked as new as my Jeans. Some items were just ugly. Not even in great shape! Im sorry but if you turn down Express jeans whether you think they might not sell, I saw quite a bit of clothes Im sure will be donated!The brand names that you said you do not accept, EXPRESS was not on the list.Staff was very friendly.

I go to Mother and Child often and I love it there the clothes are so nice and pretty. I am a teenager in high school and I shop there I go into school wearing some of their clothes and all my friends ask where I bought it and if they have more. I just bought a pair of high heel boots by Banana Republic and some of my friends want them and so do my teachers. I also bring clothes into the store and they take all of it. I mean I am a teen so i know what all the teens are wearing now and when you cosign they dont just take your clothes they also give either give 40% of the sales from your clothes but they also give 50% of the sales to store credit to take off of a purchases. Mother and Child doesnt just sell babies stuff they also sell coats, shoes, teen girls and guys, mens, and womans clothing. My brother got a jersey from Mother and Child for only $18. I think all the people who went there before and had a bad time should try going there again. I mean I got some of my friends parents to start shopping there and I think you should to.

Great place to get clothes for the whole family, unfortunately so popular that getting to consign your own clothes there isnt easy, they are very picky about what they take (but you still need to really examine what your buying) and you have to book an appointment for drop off way in advance.

Made an appointment weeks in advance for consignment. Asked for specific needs organized items counted out 30. Arrived was told 10 or 15 mins..returned 20 mins later. It appeared nothing was selected...asked why they said I had too many items? Asked if I need to make another appointment to go through items missed? Was told its up to me...was not worth all the hassle had a pair of Childs Uggs in box ..and many high end designer items with tags. Not how MCs use to be so sad:(
