I called Mr. tire in Amherst seven minutes before they were supposed to close. I was on the road to Detroit and found a nail in my tire. I was panicked and unfamiliar with the area, but luckily the employee at Mr. tire told me not to worry and come on in. It took them less than 10 minutes to change my tire, and on top of that, he didn’t charge me because he saw I was in scrubs. I would take my car in here every time if I could because of the outstanding customer service I received. They could have referred me to another tire place since they were about to close, but they waited until I arrived and Saturday comfortably in their lobby while my car was being fixed. I am forever grateful for the outstanding customer service I received at Mr. tire in Amherst! Everyone should give this place a try if they are in the area

Can definitely tell there was a change in staff at this location, used to be fast, helpful, and trustworthy, now not so much. I appreciate they fit in my oil change and tire rotation, but they still didnt reset my tpms as I asked for specifically as they forgot last time too! However, the last 2 times I make an appointment, it gets approved, I get my confirmation email, and then the day of service I get a call saying theres an issue, or we can do it tomorrow instead, etc. This is after waiting a wee with a car I cant drive and then being told, oh theres nobody here who can do that today even though you booked your appointment a week ago and we knew you were coming.if its anything beyond oil change and tires, go somewhere else now.

Had an emergency tire repair needed. A very small but important job and they fit me into their busy schedule and I was back on the road sooner than expected. Great employees and experience today.

Very friendly staff and clean waiting area, My Mother and I went to Target this morning down the road to get our annual flu vaccines to find that our front left tire was completely flat when we returned, We went to Mr., Tire after discovering this and they were very accommodating, Not only did they see us right away even though we didnt have a appointment they even allowed us to bring our two dogs in since we had plans to walk after our visit to Target that were shut down. They wernt able to fix the flat but they put the spare on free of charge and even called the last place we had tires installed at to get a appointment. Talk about great customer service

Got some work done today, reasonable price for a chain establishment. When I left my car was making a noise and skidding, I took it back and they volunteered to fix it for free tomorrow. Turns out it was a faulty sensor, not their fault.

Took my car to tuffy twice to fix stalling and shaking problems. I spent over 900 at tuffy and my problem was never fixed. Took it to mr tire and they did some testing for me and found the problem the next day, now my cavalier has been running great. I will now avoid tuffy and always go to mr tire for my needs!!! We brought our car to Mr. Tire because we had a sudden flat and we needed to replace all of our tires before winter anyhow. We ordered a certain type of tire that had to be shipped to the store. The shipments got screwed up and the tires were going to be arriving a week late. Rather than make us take our car home and wait, the fantastic guys at Mr. Tire gave us a set of better quality tires they already had in stock at the cost of the set we ordered. Great caring service and quick oil change and repair! Normally I dread oil changes and any car repairs but this made the experience 100% better. Everyone was honest and explicit on what they did and what repairs they found needed to be done!

I took my care to the dealer for routine maintenance. The repairman advised that the rear brakes were bad. Estimated cost $475. Called Mr. Tire and Nate advised that I could bring my car in and that they could make the repairs that same day. I love coming here to get my oil changed. With the coupons it is the cheapest place I have found! It’s a good location to be able to walk to Target or get some lunch.Recently the front desk staff has done a 180 and they are kind and helpful and really make it a nice place to come.

What service! Was traveling through to Virginia and picked up a vibration on the freeway. Called and Nate answered. Very professional and friendly. Said that despite the busy Holliday schedule he would get me in to make sure I was safe. Left the truck with him and went for lunch. Came back and found it was done. They found a balance weight had fallen off. They rebalanced it and checked the rest of the wheel. At this point I would have paid anything they asked. Nate said “on the house...happy Hollidays”. Mid morning Saturday dropped off my Audi to install a set of tires and oil/filter change. A few hours later the car was ready. Everything seem good and the balance is spot on smooth as silk. Good job and professional as usual. Easy.

Visited today for the first time. I just needed a tire plugged. These guys not only plugged my tire (repaired as they prefer lol) but they switched out doughnut and re stowed it. Also took the time to put together an estimate for four new tires and an alignment. The cost of repair was great and estimate looks hard to beat. Im sure Ill be back.

I was greeted by friendly faces that made the process quick and painless. I was checked-in, new tires picked, and keys handed over in a matter of moments. They worked with me to determine the cause of the blowout, and to make sure I could afford the work needed. In and out in an hour and a half. Gary, Nate and Nick were the champions of the day, getting everything handled and getting me back on the road without hassle.

The entire staff was awesome to deal with. Shawn beat any price I could find on tires around including mount and balance. I have custom finished wheels and Bob did a great job mounting the new tires on them, not a single mark! He also went the extra mile by using special weights for balancing that cannot be seen. Took my car to Conrad’s for an oil change and tire rotation and they told me I needed new tires on my car that’s a 2018. I went to my friend at mr tire for a second opinion and was told I didn’t need new tires . Very welcoming when I first walked in and they took care of me. I Highly recommend taking your vehicles here!

Went to get an oil change on my Mini Cooper and that’s exactly what they gave me, nothing else was done. No tire rotation, break inspection, or fluid inspections, at a total price of $65. Everything is, and always has been included in this price of $65, but they must have been too busy to do anything besides change the oil. When asked how everything looked, the gentlemen at the desk, who was doing 5 things at once, stated “everything looked good”, but we knew that there were things that were definitely wrong with these specific inclusions that come along with a 65$ oil change. Too busy for what they can handle

I had a slow tire leak, so I went here for a quick fix. I was charged for the free tire repair service. When I asked the desk manager why the website clearly states repairs are free (under services section) when they are not, he replied that I need a coupon. I was pretty annoyed, but I didnt argue because I felt it was a fair price. I was happy that I got right in, and their waiting area was comfortable.

I went there for brakes. I shouldn’t have. My buddy from Advance said they buy the parts cheaper than I could and mark them up 3 to 4 times. Well...he’s right, front pads and rotors 400.00. Well the parts were $70.00. Unbelievable.

Will not be going again. Went there to get new tires put on then they tell me I have a massive oil leak and tie rods are shot. I just had my car inspected by a very honest mechanic and everything is good. Two days prior I checked all my fluids and topped them off, now it is magically low after service.

Ive been going here all the way from NorthRidgeville for several years now, and I always get great service. The staff is informative, while explaining work that needs attention to the vehicle being worked on. From oil changes, to having my battery pack changed, these guys do there best every time .

Just got tires put on a couple months ago, asked if they could fix a bubble that appeared on my tire. They want to charge me a hundred dollars to fix it. The employees at Mr. Tire will do a job quickly for you, and you wont have to wait, however; dont expect them to care about your keeping your business or having good customer service.

Service was good but watch out for their bogus Disposal Fee of $25. I had some bulbs changed and was charged that disposal fee even though I saw my old bulbs in their general trash along with cans and food. I would understand for oil or something similar but this was ridiculous.

Had used for two years for general service.on the last three times to visit the following problems1. rotate tires had to got back three times to get it right.2. had a starter replaced on a Honda Ody, no problem with that but had tire rotated again and had to return a 2nd time to get it right.3. and final straw, had a power steering pump put on ($700), this failed 6 months later and they had me pay the labor to reinstall a new pump ($200), 3 days later the bolt broke and the belt was torn up.Tried to get in at the MR Tire but told it would be 3-4 days.When to a local repair and they fixed me on the same day ($75) for new belt, bolt and remount of PS Pump. I have found a new and better garage to wrench on my cars and vans.Called Mr Tire after this to talk to management and he said he was sorry but nothing more he could do. He also stated there is no way he broke the bolt, but I dont see how they break on their own.Good Bye Mr Tire - it is a shame because was so close to my work, Cleveland Clinic Lorain AmherstHello great garage Lakeside in Vermilion Joe seems to do the right thing the first time for a fair price.

I dont even know where to start with this review. But after reading all the other reviews about Amherst Mr. Tire i really wish i wouldve read all them before ever bringing my car here. It all first started getting an oil change and them letting me know me left turn signal light was out but they said itll only be $10 for them to replace it so hey why not new light right? Wrong they completely ripped out my left turn signal assembly and when i got my car back it was loose and hanging off so i went back inside and complained about it i sat ANOTHER HOUR here for them to just glue it back in place. So i leave and i turn left to head home and now im hearing a loud noise whenever i turn left or right... only an oil change was done to the car so i immediately head back there and guess what Julian says? You need new pads and rotors (wow.) Ive never heard this noise ever when driving my car. So i panicked and spent OVER a thousand dollars for new pads and rotors. After being replaced the noise STILL persists. So i bring my car back AT LEAST five times and all i notice they do is put some type of black grease all over the brakes(doesnt fix anything). Eventually he says Oh its your emergency brakes(bull$hit). So again sadly, i panic and go with it for another $200 and they only replace ONE SIDE i immediately open the box and there the other shoe and hardware is!!!! I ask why didnt you do both sides and i hear Oh Josh didnt have enough time youll have to schedule another appointment Ive never heard from these pos since. Every time i call it rings and no answer. I imagine they put me on some red flag list after bending me over for WELL OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS. PLEASE if youre reading this STAY AWAY. Ever heard of those shops that purposely cause problems to a vehicle just so the employees can get commissions or meet quote? This is it! Now im stuck sleeping every night knowing Amherst Mr. Tire has completely DESTROYED my braking system and other parts of my vehicle where i have to take it somewhere else and probably get everything done again(correctly) and probably even more work that they caused to meet some type of quote. I ask myself why me? What did i ever do to Amherst Mr. Tire i literally only went in for a special i got in the mail thinking i could maybe trust this company and all this happens to me? Why? I have to go to work everyday now with a car thats making severe noises every foot thats driven. Co-workers asking what happened to your car? I just put my head down and walk away due to being completely speechless. Thanks Julian & Josh i really wish i had the money for a lawyer i dont know how you two or corporate live with yourselves everyday knowing you do this to people. I see in the main google picture a beautiful mustang and truck, i bet you didnt do this to them. All this just because i wanted to try and trust a new auto shop. Please, if youre reading this learn from the mistake i made going here. My only option at this point is contacting the better business bureau and see what they say.
