We went looking for a truck to pull our new travel trailer. Our salesperson, Christine, was adequate. She tried to juggle several customers at once, even though we had an appointment with her, which made the time spent there seem so much longer. What I was appalled by was when we walked by their employee lounge. There were small refrigerators with chains and padlocks around them, and I commented Do people steal lunches around here? and laughed. I was told yes. What the heck? Why should I trust a dealership that doesnt even have trust within itself? We bought the truck, only because we were tired of looking. Not very happy with the dealership and wont go back.

This past weekend I was travelling from Rochester NY to Battle Creek MI for an important gathering. When entering the Ohio turnpike the brakes on my 2000 Ford van failed due to a ruptured brake line. Luckily their place was only a half mile away. Although their service area was booked for the whole next week they said they would see what they could do. They hooked me up with a nearby Enterprise rental place and I rented a large SUV and moved my equipment to it and continued to my destination. They squeezed in my repair and had it finished by Saturday and I stopped on the way back to get it. A potential disaster became just a small inconvenience.

Exceptional service! Bought 4 cars over a span of 10 years and I have always felt like family. Sam is great and the entire staff is amazing.

Sale was relatively smooth from viewing the vehicle online to purchasing in-store. Vehicle was as listed, and sale was no pressure. Answered all my questions and pricing was upfront. Only issue was a small interior issue that they promised to fix post sale and was put into the contract. A couple months later and they have not kept up their promise to fix the panel.

I brought my car in because of the transmission and clutch recall. After several phone calls, we pinned down what work was necessary and was quoted a reasonable price. When I was called to pick it up almost a month later, I was told it would be hundreds of dollars over my quoted amount but I never got anything in writing so I couldnt fight it. The service center was rude to me, the woman helping me was talking on her cell phone and told her associate to check me out. Nothing was explained anything about the bill or the work done to my car when I got there and was told I needed to contact enterprise to come pick up the rental car that they provided. Driving home my car was unsafe and making noise in the front that it wasnt making when I dropped it off. Im having my regular mechanic look at it because I dont trust this dealership to touch my car again. Im very disappointed overall and wouldnt recommend them to anyone. I gave 2 stars because my recall was fixed and they did provide a rental car for the month my parts were on back order.

Ive been a Ford Owner for years. Always took my cars to the dealership for maintenance. This is not the first time I have received Rude Service from the Amherst Dealership. Today was the last time. Ill gladly take my vehicle some where else.I called to have my vehicle serviced and I was Hung up on by someone called Jacob. When I tried calling back, I was once again hung up on, any attempt to call again was ignored.

Drove 3.5 hours to purchase from Autonation Amherst Ford GOOD : best detail job Ive ever seen. They made a 2016 look brand new. Christine Adkins was awesome. Would buy again. BAD : paperwork wasnt ready upon arrival which added over an hour to our 3.5 hour ride back home.

Sam Lee was super helpful. We were coming from far away, he kept good communication, sent pictures, video and made sure all the paper work was done so we can be in and out. I Would recommend Sam to anyone.

It started out well. We went through all the paperwork. He then presented us with a $1000.00 worth of extras that we didnt even know about. OK, thats not honest at all. The next day he said that we took the wrong keys; which abruptly he retracted. The day after that, he said we had to provide him with a Ford Z plan or he was going make us redo the paperwork and add $1800 if we didnt comply by the end of the business day. I know that your trade is psychological warfare to make the most profit, but that was way over the top. They also covered up scratches with touch up paint. The scratches appeared on the car a few days later.

Made a 9am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Something that should take an hour, tops, took 4 hours and 22 minutes. After asking why it took so long, the associate said “I asked you how soon you need it back?” I said “as soon as possible.” She says that people that wait there, are serviced first. Moral of the story, appointments mean nothing at Amherst auto nation.Update....the service manager called this morning and made things right. He was very professional. Much appreciated

Scheduling was very easy and service was great. Had to wait for my vehicle which was serviced quickly and efficiently.

Called Parts department to get a Price on Front Rotors and Front brakes. They wanted $97 per rotor and $76 for pads. I asked for parts numbers so I can check other dealers if they had them cheaper. Parts person said NO. So, I managed to get part numbers anyway. And found them at half the Price at another Ford Dealer. $42 for Front rotors and $35 for Front Pads. I would give a 0 Star. But, it wouldnt let me post comment. Do Not buy parts from here. They will Rip you off.

Great dealership. Always treated like family from sales to service and everything in between. Their service department always has my vehicles serviced faster than promised. Would recommend them without hesitation.

I’ve had excellent service done here, highly recommend. However, I was totally displeased with the sales side of the business. When I came in I had my 8 month old son with me and made it clear I don’t have a lot of time to mince numbers, I wanted a NEW vehicle and I DO NOT lease. Without even asking the salesman said he was bringing around a used vehicle. Why? If you can’t give me what I want in my price point, tell me so I can leave and stop wasting both our time. He then tried to discuss leasing with me again, then again after I returned from a test drive. Then a supervisor came over and essentially insulted not only my intelligence but her own employees intelligence by asking why I didn’t want to lease and asking if he hadn’t answered all my questions. Because I said no! I am not required to explain myself to you and now you are wasting my time. They also quoted me at 9% APR which I found extremely presumptuous considering I make a very good living and have spotless credit, but I got the impression they saw a single mom with tattoos and assumed all I could afford was leasing just because I’m not ignorant enough to accept a $400 a month car payment. I found the entire interaction disrespectful and I will be purchasing a vehicle elsewhere. I get the strong impression this is more an issue with management than their salespeople, be advised.

I had a recall done on my door latches. I received a call about a week later asking to bring my car back in because Ford wanted to see pictures of how they did the latches. (No fault of Auto Nation, just something to do with the recall) for the inconvenience of having to being my car back in, they offered a free interior and exterior detailing. Let me tell you, they did an AMAZING job! They got out 8 years worth of kids stains from the back seat! My car looks NEW! I couldnt believe this nice shiny cat was mine! Besides that awesome job, everyone Ive dealt with is very friendly, and I feel like the garage is very efficient. The waiting area is nice and big. All in all, it was a great experience.

We had awful experiences at Autonation Westlake which is close to home but we choose to go out of the way to go to Amherst and after meeting Lonnie, Jeff and Joe were treated like they care about their customers and always have our back not like Westlake that dont care about customers loyalty.

Went in to get a used car for my daughter. The staff was polite, helpful, courteous and professional. They were busy helping customers that were there before us, so it took a little while to get the ball rolling, so we took that time to look around without a pushy salesman hovering over us. When a salesman became available, Jeff Wells, took great care of us as soon as he was finished with the previous customers without trying to get us to get more car than we wanted, told him what we were looking for and he took us straight to the cars that fit our description.

I was somewhat hesitant to get my car serviced at Auto Nation in Amherst; although I had purchased the car there (very happy with the car and the deal by the way), its a lot further from my house than at least three other Ford dealers. Went anyhow.Was totally pleased with the service. The service manager listened to what I wanted. He understood. The car was done promptly. The price was less than I expected. The work order/receipt I got appears to be complete.I have to mention the waiting area: it was clean, the seats were rearranged for more separation, the employees were behind protection.Totally satisfied.
