Excellent customer service Left the corporate Verizon store in Ames because they had their doors locked even though I had a scheduled meeting with them

First visit they had just sold the last Samsung model I wanted right before I got waited on. No problem. Ordered a phone, made some adjustments to my plan, saved some money. Went in the second time not as smooth because I didnt remember the correct password to my account or even being issued a PIN. Staff was courteous and handled the situation and all went smoothly.

Tyrese was awesome! Knowledge was so inspiring . He knew everything that we needed to do to get my 6 yrs old phone to even work. In the end I decided to upgrade and we both knew it was time. Hopefully it will last a little longer. Thanks Tyrese!

I needed to get a new Screensaver on my fathers phone, his was installed incorrectly at the store of his carrier. I went to that store at 10 in the morning to find out AT&T does not open until 11:00. I saw the Verizon store down the way, so stopped in to see if they could help me. Tyrese was extremely kind and had the problem fixed in a matter of minutes.Well, things change. The Screen saver Tyrese installed on the phone began to peel off. Dad took it back to the store to see about getting it replaced. He was told to go to the screen saver website and file a warranty request for replacement, that includes a $11.95 shipping fee. Clearly the store should have accepted some responsibility for the issue, as they installed it less than a month ago. Turns out this is a normal less than caring cell phone business. So disappointing.

This is the cell phone place that is across the street from Walgreens at North Grand Mall. The gentleman there is very courteous helpful and always trying to make sure everybody that comes in knows that hey will be right with them hes a very busy person but does that outstanding job.The other Verizon store on Duff Ive only went in there one time that I had a girl with good service other than that theyre all terrible

Selection of phones is small and the sales associates dont seem to understand their own contracts. I was initially told by a sales associate I could not return a prepaid phone till I pointed out the 15 day return policy in their contract, even though it was in plain black and white, the associate still felt the need to call the manager and ask. So in all I ended up paying over $300 for a subpar phone and learning to stay far away from this shop.UPDATE: I emailed cellonly weeks ago with details of my transactions and have yet to hear back, seems like they just responded to my rating because the business wants to appear as though they are engaged and responsive to their customers without actually addressing the issue.

If there was an option for even lower I would have selected that option. I switched from US Cellular because I thought they were terrible, but this Verizon is beyond horrible. I switched before I moved out of state and nobody bothered to tell me that all transactions must go through THIS store as they are a locally owned store not a corporate store. I have had nothing but an AWFUL experience with this company. Its going on 3 months and I still do not have my rebate. My mothers phone didnt work and had to be sent in. And now my phone shows no service and my bills are double what they should be.

This location didnt offer the service I was needing but were very nice and referred me to a place that could help me out. I found the employees to be courteous and a pleasure to talk to.

The most worthless unhelpful Verizon in Iowa! Been here 3 times just because I happened to be in the mall and not once have they helped me with chargers, screen protectors, ect! Go to Verizon over on south Duff, much better!

They don’t even know how to replace a lost SIM card. Go to the 101 Duff Av Verizon shop for help, they are much more professional than this one.

I came to ask for help to transfer my contacts from an old phone to a new phone (both are verizon phones), and the staff told me it costs 10 bucks. I said I am a verizon customer, and got the answer it does not matter as long as I didnt buy it from here. OK, so I wonder did verzion pay this staff or not. Anyway this explains why I saw so many new customers are around at&t and nobody around verizon.
