Just switched from sprint to at&t and so far Im beyond not impressed. I turned in my old sprint phone and was told Id be emailed a receipt so I dont get charged for the old phone. That was over a week ago. Ive since called the store at least 8 times and Im always rerouted to a different branch that cant help. Finally, I drove in to the ames location after work. The sign on the door says theyre open, but the front doors are locked. Im currently sitting in their front lot writing this in frustration. Ive been a customer for barely a week and Im having regrets. Poss poor service so far.

Came in Monday with broken phone got a newnone after starting new account, found out the phone will not have enough memory called the store Tuesday too see about exchanging phone was told no problem come on tomorrow to order the new one.got there they was closed, so I returned today and suprose still closed....😡🤬😡🤬😡

I had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth at the Ames IA location a couple weeks ago. She helped us add a new phone to my line for my husband and even informed us of some great deals. I would most definitely go back and ask for her help when I’m ready to upgrade myself!

I feel duped one more time by AT & T. Promised something and then told they could no longer honor the offer.

Such an easy going environment! The employees were friendly & helpful!

Employee is either committing fraud or incompetent. We were told that if we switched to ATT we. would get 2 new phone (Aug 2020) and after repeated visits wondering why we weren’t getting credited on our bill she told us she made a mistake and the phones weren’t free. Left ATT and now we got a bill for the remainder. Corporate isn’t any better ...nothing but the runaround with them even after filling a written dispute. Heading for court now to get our money back and keep from having to pay the remainder balance on the phones. Buyer beware ....

Got a new phone. Dont know what my phone bills going to be or if I got a contract and they couldnt even transfer my stuff off my phone to my new phone

Received service within 5min upon arrival. My AT&T professional was throughly knowledgeable in various phones in comparing pro and cons best to suit me. Extremely friendly and patient in my numerous q&a in making my ultimate choice a happy one for this senior. Purchased iPhone pro11 and cases.

Tell me why every time I try to go in that store there is always a sign that says “back in 1 hour” ???? I’ve been trying to go for 3 days all at different times and no one is ever there. I also tried making an appointment but the store was not available. Lame

This location is under new management! Hannah is amazing, very personable and professional service, she is knowledgeable, patient and nice! Although I didn’t have the pleasure of working directly with anybody else at the store, I am sure she is working hard to build a team of people with the same qualities. Despite it’s reputation and some negative feedback, AT&T is a great option for Iowans who work and live somewhat near a decent-sized city or major interstate/highway. They have the best military discount of all the major carriers, their plans offer great bang for your buck considering the top tier nationwide coverage. If you never leave your little rural town, AT&T is not for you. But I digress. Thanks Hannah!

Hannah was fabulous. My Icloud was full and I had questions. I’ve never understood the Icloud and people have attempted to explain it to me. After a few minutes, maybe a minute or less actually w Hannah, I now get it! I had another deal going on w my screen not automatically rotating. That took her all one second, literally one second. Personable and friendly. Thanks!

We were treated so well by the staff. They stayed well after business hours to get us set up. Very friendly staff and they handled the crowd well. They made sure to give us excellent customer service despite having a long line of customers.

I have worked with this AT&T Store for many years now. Just recently, while starting a new business, I have spent a lot of time at this store and the service has been absolutely incredible. They have worked so hard to make sure everything was taken care of. As I have told them several times, this is how a business is supposed to be run. They provide impeccable service and highly recommend this store.

During my more than 10 years as an AT&T customer, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the staff at the Ames AT&T store, most recently with both Earl and Hannah (the new store manager). I would consider myself a pretty savvy customer, and whenever I’ve approached them with pretty complex problems they’ve always kicked butt and gotten me back on track.Most recently, Hannah helped me establish a new AT&T Business account. She knew everything that needed to be done, and the process went smoothly - and I later found it that she’d only been with AT&T for 2 days! She clearly has a passion for customer service and has since been able to handle my unusual account issues with ease.Earl helped my re-activate a dedicated mobile hotspot device on my eligible legacy unlimited plan. The device had only been deactivated for a few months, and he successfully navigated the AT&T support channels to get me on my way. I know I’ve worked with Early several times before, and he’s always been a stellar example of a helpful, knowledgeable, and empowered customer service and sales professional.

Matthew and Earl were really helpful! They went out of the way to help us through the problems that AT&T were not able to fix on the phone or chat. They stayed later than the store hours to make sure we get our problem fixed! Absolute best service!

*UpdateNow the magnet that helped the phone in case stick to the wallet has also become weaker causing the phone to literally spill out of the wallet when opened. Truly a defective, substandard product foisted on unsuspecting customers.Third rate accessories sold by second rate polite looking staff that turn snarky the moment your return their substandard junk to them

Service was prompt. Not friendly, but got the job done.I bought a new phone and a case to go w it. The hole on the case for the headphone jack was too small. The sales associate didnt give me the packaging, so I was unable to return the case (even though I had the receipt) for a refund.Spent 57 minutes on the phone w AT&T (after trying to call the store 5 times) before I was issued a credit (not a refund) on my account.

Took my family of 4 about 6hours so we got new phones but just took a while. Really nice people.

In sept 2017 I purchased 2 phones under a BOBO offer . 2 years later almost after many many attempts ATT is still refusing to provide the credits for the 2nd phone . Telling me that I was not eligible . I had to open a new line in order to qualify which I did and have kept this line for the duration . They still say I do not qualify which means to me that the store rep deceived me to make a sale . I have been a customer for more than 15 years and this is the first time i have considered switching service

If the Lord of Fire and Brimstone could manage to get the customer service at AT&T up to the minimum standard he consistently reaches in his famous afterlife penitentiary then I might give them another star. If you want the AT&T experience just set your phone on fire and then eat it - it will be much cheaper and more pleasant than signing up with this company.

I just needed to run in to get a sim card for a new phone. Once it was my turn I got everything done quickly. However, I came in around 11am and there was a long line w/ only one employee to get through it.

Purchased a device at this location and was told it at a BOGO deal on Samsung Galaxy 8+. Salesman did not inform me that the BOGO required an additional line to qualify, so after waiting the allotted time for the credits to apply, I found out that I was misled and AT&T can do nothing about it now as it was the retailers failure to address the full scope of the deal before signing me up. #attemployee #dissatisfied
