Great experience during a tough time to buy a used car with the chip shortage. Most lots we looked at her slim with options, and didnt even inspect the used cars that came in before selling them. We chose this dealership because it inspects all used vehicles. They inspected the one my son chose and thought the tire tread was a little worn, so put brand new tires on it before putting it up for sale. It has a 3 month/3,000 warranty that comes standard, and all maintenance is FREE within the first 15,000 miles or 12 months. Kevin in Sales was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, and showed him how to use different features in the vehicle before leaving. The finance team worked to get us a rate better than we expected and were very efficient also! Lastly, the vehicle was marked almost $1000 under blue book value. Most used car lots are pricing things over blue book right now. Good customer service is not easy to come by these days, and the reduced hassle was super important to my son to make the process as painless as possible. We both really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking!

Good experience. Salesman was helpful and knowledgeable but we did feel a little rushed as our salesman was helping us and at least one other couple at the same time and we didn’t feel like we had his full attention. Would have loved more one on one time for more questions and details. Would go back again but would probably make an appointment to have their full attention while we purchase a vehicle. We do understand they were busy when we were there.

I purchased a car remotely (and from out of state) from Wilson Toyota and everything was flawless. It was one of the easiest car buying experiences I had and one of the only dealerships that would offer to sell the car (a rare TRD Pro model) without a mark up. While the car took a bit longer than expected to arrive at the dealership, Austin See kept giving me updates and was extremely communicative. There are hundreds of Toyota dealerships closer to where I live, but going forward, I will only be purchasing my Toyotas here.

I went to Wilson Toyota to try out some different cars I was. I was pretty sure I wanted a Toyota but I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted and Armando was wonderful he let me try out all different sizes of cars and didnt pressure me at all. Came in for a test drive on a certain vehicle. Was told a person who works there took it home for the night and to come back tomorrow. Called 4 times the next day to see if it was in got told Ill call you back in 20 minutes 3 times nobody ever called back finally the fourth guy was honest and said someone bought it. They waste your time!

Could not be happier! As someone who really shops around when purchasing a car, I found other dealers who tried to get me to settle for a worse financing rate, (sometimes much worse), and who low balled me on my trade in assuming I had done no research. Wilson treated me very well from start to finish, found me the best finance rate, gave me a good offer on my car. They even held the vehicle I was interested in since I lived several hours away and couldnt get there for over a week. All of the staff was great and I highly recommend Wilson Toyota.

I have dealt with Wilson Toyota for 35 years for my cars and suvs and trucks. I find the sales staff very nice to deal with and the service department is very good also.

Overall sales experience was pretty well. My salesman was great. However they offer a “Wilson warranty” on all or almost all used cars. The one I purchased had it. About a day after getting it home the wastegates on the turbos started making noise. This is a know issue from the manufacturer. The manufacturer even posted a repair bulletin on this issue stating if the wastegate is making the noise replace turbo. Of course Toyota refuses to repair and tells me it’s supposed to do this. This is very frustrating and will never buy another from Wilson nor will friends and family.

When I decided to get a new car, I did a lot of the research on my own and finally settled on acquiring a new Toyota Highlander. When it came to picking a dealer, I talked to several of my friends and asked for their opinion. Two of them recommended Wilson Toyota of Ames. They both had personal experience with Wilson Toyota and they felt they were dealt with honestly. That was certainly my experience, also. I have recently had some health issues and I have had some difficulty getting around. I located the car (exterior and interior colors, features, etc) I wanted and Wilson Toyota by phone. I explained my personal circumstances to the salesman and gave him the inventory number of the car I was interested in. I also told him I had a trade-in and sent him a text with a number of photos of my car. My initial phone call to Wilson Toyota was on a Monday morning at 10:30 and we reached agreement on the trade-in, the price of the new car, and it was delivered to me at 8:30 am on Saturday. Outstanding service and great price. They were wonderful to work with through the sale of the car and they explained the 2 year, 25,000 mile maintenance at no charge, extended power train warranty, and Toyota $1,000 reimbursement program for new car owners requiring assistive devices. I am so thankful I was encouraged to Do business with Wilson Toyota and I would strongly encourage others to do the same. A wonderful experience.
