Had boat interior reupholstered by accurate auto trim and they did an amazing job. The upholstery team does very good custom work. Communication could have been better but in the end they did the right thing. Would recommend to anyone looking for custom upholstery work.
DO NOT LET THIS PLACE TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE. What a waste of time and money. We were told Accurate was the best, everything would look nice, they had excellent customer service and there was no better place to go. We made the wrong choice. We went to accurate to replace the DVD system in our minivan. They charged $350 more than the dealership to put in a system that was supposed to be better than the factory system, easier to use, had a remote control, blah blah blah. The system looked great and worked, as long as you didnt leave town. The moment we left the Ames area, you couldnt hear the audio for the DVD through the FM station. Accurate told us this might be a problem but no big deal, just change it to work on a different radio station. We tried and tried, but still, it sounded like static or another distant station playing over our DVD. It only got worse as we traveled. We couldnt get any radio station from Atlanta to Orlando to tune in well enough that we could even hear the DVD loud enough to use the DVD player. Definitely a disappointment on a 26 hour road trip with 4 kids. After a series of emails in which they repeatedly told us to just change the radio station, they finally had us bring it in. The installer gave us a bunch of excuses about not being able to use the factory wiring and he did the best he could. He did come up with a solution: an AV cord that sits in the glove box that we have to plug in to make the system work. Seriously, to use the DVD player, instead of just pushing a button on the steering wheel like we used to with the factory system (which the steering wheel buttons arent even connected to the new system by the way) we have to open the glove box, dig out the AV cord, plug it into the front of the stereo, then try to get the glove box to slam closed with the AV cord sticking out of it. My husband, exhausted from arguing with these people, gave up. I called back and spoke to the installer, who again, gave nothing but excuses. He offered to try another solution, instead of a wireless FM transmitter he would put in a wired FM transmitter that would have a dedicated radio frequency. When I asked what would happen when we drove somewhere that had a radio station on that frequency, he put me on hold to go check his stock up front then came back and didnt answer, but rather offered to try it for another $150. When I asked, again, what would happen if it didnt work, he told me there was no way to know unless I paid for him to install it and try it. So, I went home, did some reading and made some calls to people who know more about FM transmitters than myself and this installer, found out that the wired modulator would probably only improve the sound marginally if any, and decided to not let this person ever touch my vehicle again. So, if you want to be jerked around and pay an extra $500 for a system that looks good and might work, this is your place. Otherwise, you are better off saving your hard earned money and going elsewhere.
New owners of accurate Auto Be very careful. Management can become irritable.
Brett and the crew at Accurate are great. Years ago they put the leather kit in my car and it has held up beautifully. Knowledgeable and experienced I would recommend them to anyone!
So far they suck! Bought a new Escalade and it didn’t have a DVD player so Dealerahip said they would have one put in. Accurate did the work and have had it in Twice and now working on 3 rd time. First of all the DVD player was bottom of the barrel as cheap as you can find. Secondly the DVDs stick in it all the time and the screen doesn’t load. My kids have never once watched a dvd yet and I’ve had it 3 months. They are dragging their feet on it and keep sending it back saying nothing is wrong with it when clearly there is. Dealer is contacting them again for the third and final time to get it right if it don’t work I am done. Will update this post when I find out the outcome.
Great place to take your car. Lots of attention to detail and customer satisfaction is their top priority.
I purchased a so very nice used ford focus leather Keychain from Zack watertor and I had a great experience and with him and he sold it to me for $10.00 which is a so very so reasonable price for a used ford focus leather Keychain and iam glad that I just purchased it used from him and he was so super very fair to deal with too as well also and I enjoyed dealing with him so on it so now as well now too so now and he is very supers and fair to deal with also on a used keychain and I enjoyed visiting with him.
They put a remote start in my vehicle it was great this winter!
Great people to deal with. Lots of options if you talk to them.
Terrible customer service! Had my stereo for a week and a half and never called to install. I had to call, then I was treated very rudely. Stay away. Under new ownership, Brett would never let his place go down the tubes like this.
