This was an important choice to finally come investigate the different hearing problems I seemed to be having for decades. I put it off. I wanted a place that had evidence that they knew their stuff and had excellent reviews. Timpanogos Hearing & Balance was the office that it brought me to. I just got done with my appointment for testing and I agree... its the best experience- testing, staff, communication, support, education...and their testing is beyond what I expected. I was taken care of before I ever walked into their office. They sent a book to help me learn things regarding what is known now regarding hearing testing and hearing technology. Its more than I ever knew.My testing appointment was free!I did not need hearing aids! This is a company/office of people who actually care and are a pro with dealing with hearing and working with people. From the receptionist to Jessica Nelson who was superb at testing, listening to me and explaining...it was a very excellent experience. They are top notch and I urge any of you who believe you have hearing loss to come get tested for free. It gives you clarity with where youre at and Im more knowledgeable and less afraid to take care of my ears in the future with them. Im grateful to find them!

You deserve the best, why settle for less.I drive from Bountiful to American Fork and past many earing establishments on the way, because I want to be treated by a Doctor of audiology not a technician.If you your hearing aides are over a year old you need to check out the newest technology. I cant believe the difference. A doctor of Audiology is the only one that can prescribe and program them. Right now your hearing aides are only amplifying all the sounds around you.The new technology is much more like hearing naturally. They are so light, I forget that I have them on. No more batteries is a huge plus. Just plug them into the charger at night and you are good for all the next day. I now can hear anything from my phone on the Bluetooth. No more headphones. Amazing.

I went to a Big Box store a few years ago for hearing aids, and they never worked very well for me. So I was very pleasantly surprised by the outcome at Timpanogos Hearing and Balance. Jessica, Dr. Garrett, and the entire staff are thorough, professional, kind and most importantly knowledgeable.I am so pleased with these new devices, they are comfortable and work so much better than the others that I have used.The entire process has been very positive and nice.I highly recommend these good folks for your hearing needs.

Timpanogus Hearing And Balance did a great job of reassessing my hearing needs after having my existing hearing aid for over four years. They updated the firmware and replaced the speakers which made a huge difference going forward. They were patient and listen to every concern or need. Also, had a great conversation about what future technology holds and put a plan in place for future replacements.The staff was awesome too.

They are great to work with. Jessica is knowledgeable and explains what you may experience having new hearing aids. It made my experience easier and frustration minimal. I felt pretty well prepared because of her explanations.I am still getting used to wearing hearing aids, but they are working with me to adjust sound, ear pieces and other things to help me.

I was able to get a free hearing test. When they didnt have the software for my particular hearing aids, they called around for me until they found an office that did. I appreciated their care for me even if they had to send me to a different office. I was also able to schedule an appointment to try a particular kind of smart hearing aid. They took great care of me.

They are always very helpful, quick appointments, great follow through, try their best to assess and fix our needs.

I am so glad that I chose Timpanogos hearing to try my new hearing aids. Everything went really smooth and the staff was pleasant and willing to answer all of my questions. The entire reason I went here was because their name says Hearing & Balance. Another doctor thinks that I have vestibular problems so I came here. I was under the impression they did vestibular testing along with testing my hearing and told me I was fine. Months later when a doctor asked for the results I was told that they never did vestibular testing on me. Just a simple hearing test. They said that “their machine was broken”. I was shocked that I hadn’t gotten the testing I needed for the whole reason I had went in.Months later I inquired if they could do the needed testing and again “their machine was broken”. I got the vibe that they don’t even do this type of testing. I was very disappointed and feel their name is misleading as they focus only on hearing. Their website says it all utahhearingaids.com - that is what their focus is and what they care about. They have a lot of great reviews and I’m sure help a lot of people who need hearing aids but I wouldn’t go for anything else.

I have had nothing but AMAZING service and experiences at Timpanogos Hearing and Balance in American Fork with Dr. Garrett. He is kind, understanding and never rushes you. I received upgraded hearing aids earlier this year and purchased the rechargeable hearing aid batteries. The batteries werent holding their charge and Dr. Garrett replaced the set for free! They have never sent me an invoice and have also worked diligently with my insurance to get everything covered!

I brought my 88 year old mother here. They were more than kind and attentive to her. I am forever impressed with their thoughtfulness and how they went above and beyond to make sure that she left there happy and hearing much better than before. I truly feel that this Dr. is a blessing to all he cares for!

My son has had a lot of hearing tests and has been seen by many different hearing aid specialists. But none have been as kind to him as Timpanogos Hearing and Balance. They do not get frustrated with him when trying to communicate to him without his hearing aids. He’s had some doctors that have been so unkind. It really stands out the level of professionalism and care that they give to their patients. I’m also very impressed with the level of knowledge they have about most any questions we have regarding the proper care of his ears. It is so helpful and never comes across as us feeling foolish for not knowing. They are easy to work with when needing an appointment and when we’ve been in a bind about needing a new ear mold. I feel that we can communicate openly with them regarding financial issues when needing to order new molds, and the staff is very kind and helpful in helping us to meet our needs with what we can afford. I had been experiencing headaches, dizziness, and some rather disconcerting hearing issues where my hearing would cut out. I went to another audiologist where they basically told me I had a deviated septum in my nasal passages and that was what was causing my issues. They tried to schedule me for surgery but I declined.After reading reviews online about this place I decided to try it. I was EXTREMELY impressed. I saw Dr. Sparrow, and he was informative, patient, and extremely thorough in his work. I felt like he really cared and that he was very knowledgeable. He performed a battery of hearing and balance tests and helped me feel so much better about my situation. He didnt dismiss or talk lightly of any of my concerns or questions, and listened carefully to everything I said.I cant recommend this place enough. They do amazing work and are extremely kind. Dr. Sparrow helped me feel so much better about everything and suggested a few things I could do to improve my situation, and after following his advice (mostly it was to try and manage stress better, not have as much screen time, etc) I do feel a marked difference. Even though it may seem simple, it meant a great deal to me that Dr. Sparrow was kind and considered so many different possibilities.

I was gifted a pair of Hearing Aids originality obtained from Timpanogos Hearing and Balance in Spanish Fork. The American Fork Office treated me very well and fitted the aids for me in a kind and thorough manner including a complete hearing test. All of this was done without a fee as per their policy. The StreamerLink needs to be activated and needed a new antenna which is ordered. Activation is to be included as part of the original visit I was told. Currently awaiting call letting me know the antenna has arrived and they will proceed with activation.

I believe that the hearing aids that Timpanogos Hearing sell are the best that there is. I have been going to them for five years now. They offer full maintenance and adjustments of the hearing aids at no extra charge. They will spend as much time with you as needed to get your hearing aids to work the best possible. The technology in their hearing aids is fantastic. It is the leading edge of technology, and hearing deficiency the was not possible to correct fully even three years ago, now it is possible to correct. I am very satisfied by their product and their service.

They provide excellent training on proper use and care of your hearing aids. All the staff is friendly and helpful and I have been impressed by how they know me by name. I always have loved how good they are with working with special needs individuals and take the time to make sure they are comfortable and are able to provide the best service possible.

I actually went to a different audiologist that was doing a radio promotion. The cost that they quoted me was cost prohibitive, so I went two years until Timpanogos Hearing moved their office close to mine. I went in and talked to them about my issues and they got me in the next day to get tested and try a trial set. They were very knowledgeable about my issues. After testing I found that my hearing loss is quite severe, so I chose to demo the most expensive pair. These are amazing units, so much better than my old ones, and about half the cost of the OTHER guys.Because of the great service, and fantastic product, Im going to recommend Timpanogos Hearing to everyone, and Im buying these units.
