Chip used to be the best (always better than Crumble) but the last few months the quality and consistency have gotten worse. For the first 3 years we lived here the cookies were perfectly baked and delicious every time.The last 2 months or so the cookies have been overcooked or undercooked, and even when they’re cooked right they aren’t made right. Several times we’ve gone in and they were out of cookies 🤷‍♂️. A week before the cinnamon roll cookies ended we went in late afternoon - they were out and when I asked if they were going to have more they said “we’re supposed to bake more but…”. They seem to have a high turnover at this location, if you want good Chip cookies go to the Provo location.

Good cookies, a little doughy for me. Served warm and have great flavors. The girl at the counter seemed less than happy to be at work.

Loooove Chip Cookies!! They always have new and unique cookies to try but you can also never go wrong with their OG chocolate chip cookie. They are big cookies so the box of four can last longer than one sitting (if you have that kind of self control). The staff were friendly and professional and I love that you can watch them make the cookies behind the counter.

Tatse good but too expensive! Can make a dozen melty home made for the cost of one of theirs. Good if you want convenience though.

We went tonight- The cookies were warm and delicious (as always)! 🤤 There were some customers that were being difficult, and both of the workers were respectful and patient- I was super impressed. Great workers, great cookies. 10/10 would recommend (especially the cinnamon roll cookie)

I was a fan of the cookie place until they messed up an order I made for a party. They didnt deliver the cookies. I called the store and they stated that the computer system made a mistake on the day of the delivery. They canceled the order and said it would take 3-5 days for a refund. Its been over a month and I still havent received my refund. Ive called multiple times and each time, I was told it would be taken care of and it wasnt! Im done calling and Im accepting the fact that they just took $55 from me that Im NOT ever going to get back. Not to mention the fact that my party didnt have a desert and they didnt even offer something for their mistake. I found another review which says the same thing so I guess they rip people off all the time. Too bad!

Love Chip, however, not happy to see that the employees take their masks off when there are no customers inside the store, while handling the cookies.11/06/2021 - editing to add, the girl at the register tonight had her long hair down and flowing. I dont have anything against long hair, but it definitely felt unnerving to watch her toss it around, touch it with her hands, and then handle the cookies. When I worked in food we were required to wear hair up or in a net.It also didnt seem right thet she touches the register and other non-food items and then handles the cookies without any gloves/changing gloves/washing hands in between.This Chip location overall seems very casual in their sanitation efforts.

Other places have more fun flavors, but if youre looking for chocolate chip, Chip is the place to go.This specific location was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful, assume the store was clean. My only complaint is that, even though we went in person, the cookies were not warm. They did still taste great though.

I love chip cookies they are my go to for people for many reasons. When I order over $60 worth of cookies and I specifically say they need to be individually in a bag for an event and half of them come not in a bag causes a huge problem and aren’t useable. If certain cookies wouldn’t fit in a bag there is a number on the order they could have called to see what I wanted to do. Had I known that the butterfinger cookies didn’t fit in a bag I would have chosen another kind I attempted to call the store probably 10 times to double check and they never once answered it went to VM which was full. The person that delivered the cookies was awesome and went out of her way to help me. However If an order can’t be carried out as specified then they need to call and see what the customer would like done.

I used to love going to CHIP, until last night. Besides the service being really slow for a Friday night(we were fifth in line waiting for 15+ minutes and no movement), the employees working werent compliant with safe food handling. One wasnt wearing gloves while handling the cookies, while the other wasnt switching gloves between the cookies and handling the cash register. The moment that made me walk out was when the employee with the gloves on at the cash register lifted her hat and ran her gloved hand through her hair before putting the hat back on. She then handled the cookies for the customer with those same gloves on. Please train your employees better. I absolutely love your cookies, but I am not sure I can come back after that experience.

The OG chocolate chip cookies are awesome but the real star is the Semi-Sweet OGs. Wish they had them all year round!

I LOVE CHIP cookies! In my opinion I love them more compared to crumbl because their cookies aren’t covered in frosting. CHIP cookies are always fresh and warm. They’ve perfected the chocolate chip cookie. I ordered the party chip cookies because i love sprinkles and it did not disappoint! The service is great and the staff is friendly.

Chip cookies are pretty awesome. Super indulgent. We had the big cookies, and around the edges the balance of crunchy outside and soft inside was perfect for my taste. Once you got to the center it was a bit too thick for my taste. Still delicious, but the balance would be better in the smaller cookie. Not sure if they quite compete with my favorite fresh homemade cookie though..

I was told I need to go to this place and do a review. Wow! As soon as you walk in you get that unbelievable smell of fresh baked cookies smack you in the face. The impression I get is they always serve chocolate chip (OG) and sugar cookies, plus a feature flavor each week or month. So not a ton of options, but the cookies them selves are so good. Each cookie is about the palm of my hand, and thick. That causes it to have a little crunch on the outside, and very soft and gooey on the inside. Not really a place to sit and enjoy, but more of a take and go. If you liked this review please give it a thumbs up 👍🍪

Cookies overdone (hard), 2 of them were tiny, and message on box was...well..scribbles...? Literally looked like a child tried to write a personalized message on the box. Which would be cute if it were true! :) Disappointed. Chip used to be my favorite cookie shop.

Mhmm, yep, these cookies are yummy!Chip Cookies makes a really solid, delicious chocolate chip cookie. I usually dont like the simple cookies and want something unique that I cannot easily make at home. Chip breaks that rule for me. These are quite massive and if youre a chocolate chip fan, you should try these at least once. They also offer their OG chip in mini sizes as well.Chip also makes unique flavors for the cookie of the month. In July, they had a lemon chip which... oh my goodness, was the best kind of lemon cookie I have ever had. Beat Crumbls version way out of the water. I tried Chips smores cookies as well, and that was also pretty good. It is definitely exciting when a new cookie of the month comes out, although I do wish they had more flavors available at one time.

My wife and I are BIG Chip fans--so we were disappointed when the cookies we most recently bought had some issues and didnt meet our expectations. We called the store and Andrew in American Fork was incredibly responsive. He listened to what our concerns were, then offered to replace the cookies. Hes the MVP and the replacement cookies were just what we were looking for. Thank you Andrew!

I was pretty bummed tonight when I went in to try Chip for the first time. I waited for about 20 minutes to get an OG cookie and when I got it, it was unfortunately raw. I dont mean a little under-baked either. You could tell the staff was rushing to get them out since they were out of them but a raw cookie isnt that great when you pay almost $4 for one.

Super disappointed. We went into the store and asked for 3 of the pumpkin cookies and 1 choc chip. We received the exact opposite. They did not even show us the cookies for approval like they’re supposed to. We had no idea they were wrong until we got home.We’ll stick to crumbl.

I often go to the Provo chip store since I live in Provo. Once in a while I get my way up here in American Fork Store. I noticed that The workers are not as social as they used to be anymore, specially with this COVID pandemic. I just got done picking up refills from the American Fork chip store, John, One of the workers is very personable, kind and very helpful. He did the small talking and made it feel like a enjoyable buying experience and not just another transaction! I like his guy! #GiveJohnARaise! #EmployeeOfTheMonth!

Called in a little before close to see if they had any mini chips left, they were out but the gentleman on the phone said they would put some in for us right away and we could pick them up. They were so nice and we got fresh hot cookies right out of the oven made just for us right before they close. Awesome service

Find Better shipping or stay with local delivery. I ordered mine on the 30th and they are still not delivered. The shipping keeps moving and now it’s showing Monday. Almost two weeks for cookies?! Will they even be “fresh” online says keep out for 3 days then freeze. Mine have been in a truck for 11 days. Don’t buy unless you can get same day delivery. While some might think- that’s the carriers fault...I blame the company for not finding a better service to use.

An exciting treat on a cold, dull day. My four year old daughter and I were waiting for my car tires to be switched out for winter at Discount Tire and we decided to take a walk. I hadnt realized that Chip Bakery moved just around the corner. When I saw the store and asked my daughter if she wanted a cookie she gave a resounding yes. I was trying to be good and not eat too many sweets, so we got a plain chocolate chip cookie to share. They handed it to us warm and in a beautiful cello bag with a fancy sticker. We couldnt stop ourselves from splitting it right then. I was only going to have a bite (which I am well known for sticking to), but after that bite I just had to keep eating. It was so good! I dont usually like cookie dough and the middle was a little underdone, but the flavor was so good that I polished it off. It was plenty to share and super satisfying.

We used to be crumbl fans but now were die hard Chip people after discovering them through an O.U.R campaign. They donated a percentage of their proceeds to save children from human trafficking. Cookies were good, but the employee messed up my order and I didnt realize it until I got home and opened the box. Big bummer. Also, no one was wearing a mask. Employees making the cookies and the one putting them into the box had no masks. Im definitely not someone who thinks everyone should be wearing masks, but when you are making/handling my food, I think its a nice gesture. Probably wont be back until they take food safety seriously.

Their original chocolate chip cookies are really good. They also had a flavor if the month, cookies and cream I think. Overall, I just want more variety. 2 cookies, both of which are chocolate, will not bring me back since chocolate is my least favorite flavor. If youre in the mood for a normal warm gooey chocolate chip cookie, you probably wont find better.

I literally love this place! First of all, the cookies are heaven sent. I get cookies way more than I should and I cant stop taking other people about them. We even got my sister, who lives in California, hooked on them. Also, we did a taste test of all the bakerys around... Chip was far and away the winner!This location is easy to get to, clean, they take care of you quickly and the cookies taste amazing!

And I did a taste test of the other competitors just to be sure!They really know how to make a chocolate chip cookie! The dough has a great consistency. Not too thick, not too thin. Its soft and chewy when warm and the cookie tastes even better the day after! The chocolate chips are perfect and have just the right amount.They also make monthly specials which dont detract from their original cookies. Definitely get a HALF AND HALF when you go!THE BEST COOKIES. LIKE SERIOUSLY.

So, I wanted to be fair and rate all the new cookie delivery places before I rated CHIP. Well, hands down their chocolate chip cookie was the best. Moist, slightly doughy, warm and delicious. The chip of the month choices are spot on with the season. Their communication is also better than the other cookie companies, with constant updates to the delivery. Goodly does offer a very delicious gluten free cookie option. That would be my only complaint about CHIP. I am not gluten free, but am usually shopping for both options all the time. Well done!

Fabulous cookies. Chip easily has the best Chocolate chip cookies in the recent Utah cookies craze. Not as many flavor options as places like Crumbl, so if you like a bunch of different kinds, probably not where you want to go. But if you want chocolate chip cookie, this is definitely the best choice! Great warm and (unlike some of the other cookie stores) still soft and wonderful after a few hours (or the next morning) after they cool.

Had cookies delivered to my husband at his work for Valentines and he loved them!! The whole process was easy, from ordering and the delivery. Very efficient. Thankfully he brought me home a cookie. They are fantastic. So yummy!

I’m a BIG FAN of Chip. Their cookies are real quality! Their original chocolate chip cookies hit the spot with their crispy outside & gooey inside. They are great warm & still great after they cool! I’ve tried multiple of their monthly cookies (biscoff, Cadbury egg, pumpkin chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter...) and they’ve all been incredible! For one who struggles making decisions when there are too many options, I love the simple selection of chocolate chip and/or a specialty cookie that never disappoints. Chocolate chip one is good but all the secondary ones have been amazing.Chip is by far better than crumble.Reasoning: crumble just puts toppings on their cookies which makes every cookie taste the same. Chip mixes stuff into the cookie which is 10x better of a taste.

Delivered to my door at “kids are in bed o’clock” was priceless. They were enormous, warm, and gooey but perfectly cooked on the outside. I do prefer my CCC to be made with semi sweet chocolate chips. Pretty sure these are milk chocolate (Boise location). Otherwise NO complaints!

My favorite! Classic Chocolate Chip (OG) is my fave. Biscoff Chip is a pretty close second. The cookies here are more moist and plump than those you get at other cookie places.

I absolutely LOVED my experience eating Chip cookies. First, you’re taken away with how MASSIVE the cookies are. Then, you bite into a cookie you never knew existed. The semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie explodes with chocolate! I bought some for a family party, and my brother said,”where the heck did you get these?? Their amazing!!!” Couldn’t agree more :)

Called Crumbl to which they replied they wouldnt be able to deliver, so lame. Picked Chip instead. The address for the cookies (ordered for a friend) was in a new development in Lehi and unlisted on Google. They still went above and beyond in communcating with us to get a dropped pin to the delivery location, while still trying to maintain the surprise. You will not get a better experience. Thank you, CHIP. No more Crumbl for us.

Today may 29th 2020 around 7:30pm, one of your employees was just getting off of work or something and we accidentally pulled into the handicapped parking spot Because the sign was taken down... as we were about to put it in reverse and switch spots, the employee came out and very disrespectfully spit on my car. Never going to this location again, your customer service is horrible and your employee was very disrespectful.

They’re always early (in a good way not too early) and manage to find the address well without trouble. Always in nice handwriting (the note I want written on the box) and delivered with a smile :) love ordering from them and totally reasonably priced! Wish there’s a way I could give a tip somehow

We just moved to Utah this past summer and were introduced to Chip Cookies shortly after. It’s our absolute favorite!! Any time we have family or friends visit, it’s one of the places we HAVE to go. We were so excited when they made the announcement that a new store was coming in Lehi/AF and even more excited when it opened! And to top it off, they have the BEST customer service, always so kind and cheerful! Thank you Chip! ❤️🍪

Cookies are good. But then you have your homemade cookies that are better. Then you have your Mamas homemade which used to be the best youve had. Then you had chip! Changed your life forever! Eating anything else makes your feel like you are cheating. A guilt nobody should have to live with. Chip cookies are the best thing Ive put in my mouth! Got some cookies delivered to lehi. They were good besides the chocolate chip ones were a tad burnt.I was also surprised to see they only sell 2 cookies at a time. The chocolate chip, and the chip of the month.With there was more of a selection and that my 4 cookies that I paid good money for to be delivered weren’t burnt.Other than that great treat and service.

Chip gives you everything you want in a cookie: huge, SOFT, and plenty of chocolate. I love the classic chocolate chip, but I also love to try their fun cookie of the month. My husband had Chip cookies delivered to my apartment when we were living in different states and it was one of my favorite long-distance dates!

Not only are Chip OG cookies the best cookies I have EVER tasted in my LIFE, the customer service here is top notch. I was in the other night and Caleb went the extra mile to make my friends and I feel like his number one priority as his customers. We left and couldn’t stop talking about how nice he was. I do wish they had a loyalty card because I’ve been spending A LOT of money here lately and a buy 10 get one free or something would be awesome.

Love these cookies, I wish they always had semi-sweet as an option though, that is my only complaint! They are best when you get them straight from the shop and eat them so fast because they are gooey and fresh but delivery is good too, just not as gooey (but still warm and I didn’t have to leave my house so...🤷🏼‍♀️)

I ordered in their app. The app told me that the cookies would be deliver within 30-60 minutes. I waited an hour and 20 minutes before calling and they hadn’t received my order the manager told me that the order failed even though I had more points on my account and my card had been charged. The manager then said he would refund my purchase but didn’t refund my delivery charge until I specifically requested that to be refunded.

I’m so disappointed with the service I received last night at this location, which was Thursday March 27, 2020. It was close to 10pm and my husband & I walk in to be greeted by 2 employees that 1- did not greet us (at all🤔🤔, no welcome or how are you 2 this evening?NOTHING👎🏽🤷🏽‍♀️) 2- sets our order on the counter & said here’s your receipt. My husband said thanks have nice night & he walks off & since he didn’t get a reaction I decided to repeat it & so I reached over grabbed our box & looked at them and said “you both have a good night” & still F*ing NOTHING!! 🤷🏽‍♀️🤬Please pay your employees well cause then WE as the customers become their punching bag 🤔😡Or maybe management does suck so the employees don’t know how to act🤷🏽‍♀️🤗🤗 Respectful pay➡️ happy employees➡️Happy customers!! I was a little skeptical of the gourmet cookie shops but I kept seeing all these delicious looking posts and had to find out what all the hype was about. I was pleasantly surprised by Chip’s cookies!! They’re the best cookies I’ve ever tasted (much better than crumbl cookies)!! The pics don’t lie!! They are that good and that BIG!! It’s hard not to buy a box of their cookies Every. Single. Day!

I ordered a box for delivery and they came super quickly and then half of them were not normal “Chip Perfection”. I called and just told them I was a little disappointed since they are my favorites and they were so kind and sent a whole new box- super quickly again! And they were so kind and helpful in the phone! Thank you!

Excellent service. As I entered I was surrounded by excited workers and delicious smells. The amount of help offered was equal to the amount of turkey and stuffing consumed this weekend. Chip cookies is a must have and I will be heading back there very soon to eat some more!
