All the guys at this location were so easy going and super helpful. It was my first time buying a car so I was really nervous but they made the process so easy. With my car I had a 45 day warranty where if anything was wrong with the car I could bring it in and they would fix it regardless of cost etc and their mechanic DJ was absolutely incredible. He worked super fast and he was super kind. When I brought my car in, it just needed a belt change but he rotated my tires unprompted and put more air them. He was so fast too. If I ever buy another car Ill probably come back to the same location because everything just went so smoothly.

I’ve purchased 3 cars and this is my fourth never have I had such big issues as I have buying from velocity car sales. I asked for things which I never received. I expressed multiple times I did not want to drive 2 hours away to waste my time. Which when I arrived nothing was ready for me or what I asked. Then to be called the next day and told they forgot to do the emissions and I needed to come back before I can get my plates. His words exactly “you want your plates don’t you?” But didn’t fully understand how much time and money I have spent driving back and forth to get this car ready which it should have been. Communication was the absolute worst and as Shawn was on the phone raising his voice he then told me that Kyle pulled the car out and wasn’t even ready but yet they couldn’t communicate that with me I would have been more than happy to wait until it was but yet no communication was made. Text messages showing what I asked for and yet I felt I was the one chasing the salesman down to make this sale happen. I will never buy from this company again as I will let everyone know how much of a hassle it was to purchase from this company.

I recently purchased a Ford Explorer from Velocity in American Fork David was my salesman and he was great! He showed me what I asked for, answered all my questions and let me take my time overlooking the vehicle. Marco helped get me financed. I have never had a better experience. Buyers beware.. we were pre-approved from our credit union for a car loan so we came here to look at one. We found a car we liked so we talked to their sales guy. Our bank advised us all we needed was a bill of sale contract and they will review and send us with a check for the dealership. We advised the guy this and he then stated they had to run it through their system to apply. We didn’t get instant approval and it was past banking hours so we were advised they would call us back the following day. They never reached out so we called them multiple times only to be ghosted by their employees. (Apparently if you aren’t making them money - you are NOT worth their time) I finally called my credit union as the whole thing felt sketchy and my credit union stated they denied the dealership application because the way it was requested (for velocity to manage my account and everything would have been through velocity). I explained our experience to my credit union and they think it’s velocity’s way of upping your loan rate percentage so they end up getting a higher pay in the end. If they were honest and willing to work with us as I initially requested with the contract they could have had a $27,000 sale however I’m grateful my bank declined their request and scamming ways.! We ended up at Utah used car sales where we got the car but a year newer, for much less money and less miles as well. The salesman at Utah used was so much better at explaining the process and walking us through each step. Don’t waste your time with Velocity being scammed into a higher lending rate.

Went in looking for a Toyota Corolla. They have a ton to choose from and were all reasonably priced. David (the salesman) helped us and answered all of our questions. Took a little while waiting for finance as there were several other groups buying cars. In finance, it was super straightforward. Just two dealer fees, no haggling involved. Price was exactly what I had calculated beforehand. Great experience and Im sure to be back again. Highly recommended.

Test drove a used Lexus. The sales person was easy to work with. But there was sound coming out of transmission, not sure if they knew about it and tried to sell the vehicle. This raises the question on their 198 point checks which does not seem to be reliable at all. The issue was spotted after driving for 5min in their own parking lot, did not even took it to high way, god knows what would have happen if I took it to high way. I am not going back to this place again. Stay away for your own sake.

Sold me a car that had been smoked in.I recently bought an F-150 from Velocity. When I test drove it, it drove great and did not smell anything (it was 25-30 degrees in the morning when I drove it). David was nice to work with and had Ryan get the paperwork all ready. Signing was quick and organized. It had not been detailed yet though and I noticed some stains on the arm rest. David said they would get them out (this all was Saturday). Picked the truck up Monday morning and noticed a different smell. Thought it was the chemicals used to clean the stains but it turned out the truck had been smoked in. Spoke to David within 3 days of having it (chemical cleaning smell wore off). They agreed to do an ozone treatment and replace the cabin air filter. This was done without asking questions so hope it was good customer service and not them knowing they had sold me a car that had been smoked in. That work was done the next weekend but to no avail. Tried to get them to work with me and give me trade for what I purchased it for. No luck. They wanted me to trade it in and lose a few grand over a week and a half period. I am not sure if they knew they sold me a smoked in car but it still happened. Very frustrating to be left without any options. This is my second vehicle purchase from Velocity but will think twice before going back.

Just purchased an SUV here, I had gone to a few other dealerships. And got the usual treatment but buy buy now. I was recommended to David Trujillo by a friend, I spoke to him once. He immediately went to work for me, he took the time to understand my needs and budget. Was able to find a vehicle that was not even on the lot. Once I told him I was interested he went the extra mile to record a video and sent to me. Once I got to the dealership he never pressured or use any topical sales tactics. What usually is an unpleasant experience, like my last 3 cars. This time it was a smooth transaction. If you are car shopping I highly recommend working with David. 👍🏻

As a guy whos 68, its sometimes, okay, all the time, difficult to find a car thats comfortable. So, when I get ready to purchase a new car, I like to try some cars on to see what fits. I walked into Velocity and the sales guy there, Carson (I think that was his name), was awesome. He talked with me. I told him all I wanted to do was sit in a few cars, no pressure from him. He showed me to the cars I wanted to try on, I checked them out, and then that was it. They werent very busy at the time which was great as I didnt feel like I was inconveniencing him by taking away from someone who would possibly buy today. This was right around 5pm. They have lots of cars that came from Hertz and Enterprise.

Had the opportunity to work with David on the sales side and Marco in finance. Great experience. David helped find what we were looking for and went above and beyond to make sure the car was as perfect as possible. Marco made the paperwork/finance go seamless and easy. Great dudes at Velocity in American Fork.

DO NOT BUY HERE.when we first purchased our truck they encouraged us to write a review that was good like everyone else. Then after buying our truck Lewis (their salesman) told us our title would be at the DMV. After getting work off to title our truck, we were informed they didn’t have a title. We bought our truck April 3rd. Since then we have gotten the run around from EVERYONE. To this day we do not have a title for our truck. After calling upset Carrey straight told us “ file a complaint, I’ll give you the number”Don’t listen to the other reviews. This place was and has been a disaster to work with.

Buy anywhere else!!!!The customer service here has been terrible. The only person that has been helpful was Marco. Everyone else has been BEYOND rude. We bought our truck and they assured us they had the title and THEY DID NOT. Still don’t have our title and the salesman told us “ I don’t know why you’re calling me, it’s not my problem”GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

We bought this amazing RV From Velocity. Everyone who helped us there was honest and so willing. Even the few hickups we had with some items like the batteries and the water heater tank. Loved the whole experience.

Found a vehicle on their website. No pressure in buying. They provided my wife and I a lot of time to look at the car and ask all the questions we needed during the process. Marco and Efrain helped out a ton. Offered to drive my new car back to where I reside. Very nice people. Only thing I wish I knew more about was the coverages that were and werent required. But, you are able to cancel certain coverages you dont need within a time frame from when the car was purchased. Still overall great purchase.

Incredibly dishonest people here. Like, Im stunned at the pure audacity. The finance manager, Ryan, lied to me over and over about the details of my purchase. First, they made me wait hours for the whole thing despite the fact that I already had the trade-in ready to go and had all the details worked out including a preapproved loan, and there were so few customers all the sales guys were standing around. I suspect this was to make me pay less attention to everything he was saying because by then I was in a huge rush (and unfortunately, it worked). He lied to me about the rate I got, and told me about a Covid program to get a lower rate from the credit union along with a discounted extended warranty. Having now called my credit union to confirm a couple days later, I found out that approximately none of that was at all true; there was no such Covid program, the extended warranty wasnt discounted, and the lower rate came from the dealer doing a rate match request, not from any kind of special offer from the credit union. In fact, hed lied to me about my actual trade-in offer so he could discount the warranty by raising the trade-ins value to what it actually should have been (he went over all of this really quickly and I was so late for an event I was unable to parse it all). He told me the monthly cost of my extended warranty would be $9, but doing the math after the fact its actually $40 without interest. Another lie. Over and over he lied to my face to sell me an expensive warranty. Im just disgusted. I will absolutely never purchase a vehicle here again, and I highly recommend no one else does either; Velocity embodies the scummy used car sales trope perfectly.I gave two stars only because I like the car and the salesman, Kyle, seemed nice, though I did all the shopping myself online so he didnt really have to do much.

Best price. Several options for the make and model I was looking for. Low pressure sales (Efrain). I’d strongly recommend buying from here. There were a couple of things we wanted fixed and they got that done (tires and an internal plastic piece was missing) within a week. The only negative we experienced was the finance guy (that we found out was from a slc location). He was very condescending and was the “used car salesman” we’ve avoided everywhere else.

I worked with Connor and Ryan. No pressure buying, and Ryan explained everything about financing and extended warranty coverage. The first drive home, and I discovered a problem with my SUV, Ryan and Connor scheduled my SUV for a time to get it fixed by DJ. DJ fixed my SUVs issue, and I am very satisfied. Velocity Auto stands by their product unlike other big name dealerships where you drive off their lot, and youre on your own. I will buy from them again!

We had a good experience here. We were trying to trade in our vehicle and then purchase one. We didnt end up buying a car or even selling our old one, but the staff was very helpful, and not pushy at all. When they couldnt give us the trade-in price we were hoping for for our vehicle they helped us to think of other ways of selling the car that would help us get more money for it. All in all we decided we didnt need a car that day, but I think that says something about this place. The staff was there to help us be able to make the most financially wise decision for ourselves, not to try to push us into making a risky purchase that we werent ready for.

I bought a vehicle from Kyle McMullin at Velocity in American Fork in June 2020, and I have to say that the entire experience was wonderful! Kyle was helpful and responsive, answering all my questions and getting back to me when he didnt know an answer right off. When I found a couple of small things on the vehicle that needed to be fixed, Kyle made it right and really bent over backwards to rectify the situation. Also, I live out of state, and so there were some scheduling logistics that had to be figured out for me to get there. Kyle worked with me every step of the way to find the right time and day. The entire staff at Velocity was great, too! I dont give five stars for hardly anything, but I couldnt imagine a much better car buying experience. Definitely recommend this place.

Classic unscrupulous auto dealership. John “helped” us and acted like our friend while stealing our money. My poor nephew bought a car for $10,500 with $1,000 down but somehow ended up with a $14,000 loan. Totally got taken advantage of. Should’ve known these guys were desperate for money with their shabby desk and ancient printer from the 80’s. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

For a used car dealer this dealership has a very nice selection. I love exotic cars, and simply most used car dealerships don’t offer this type of variety in Utah. The 2019 Ford F-350 Platinum they have is a beautiful machine. I’m for sure coming back in this Saturday to buy!

I know nothing about cars. Luckily, the sales representative I met was super transparent and was super knowledgeable . If not mistaken, his name was Trevor W. (or Travis W. Maybe) and I would 10/10 recommended asking for this employee when you go to Velocity. As a first time buyer with limited income, I thought my options would be few and far. In the back of my head, I anticipated getting minimal to absolutely no authentic service. Although, this representative enthusiastically laid out the many alternatives with no games or gimmicks. Rather than trying to “make a sale” it’s clear velocity values the people over profit. I say this because this employee happily spent over an hour helping me select my next car. Thank you for a great customer experience Velocity. It’s hard to find great customer support and when I do I have to leave a review. Go here !

Absolutely terrible experience so far. I purchased a travel trailer from Velocity a few months ago. We thought we were getting a quality trailer at a fair price. After de winterizing the trailer we hooked up some water. Immediately the faucet shot out and water gushed everywhere. Simple fix for me, just a couple O-rings and I moved on. Then we finally were able to go on a trip, only to wake up in the middle of the night, and water was leaking everywhere. After discovering the hot water line had a hole in it, I fixed that myself and moved on. Then we noticed that the stabilizer jack is bent, the table mount was cracked, and the built in DVD player that was advertised, didn’t work. I called velocity about 10 times and was told someone would get back to me. It’s been more than a week and I have left several messages and don’t have anyone returning my call or speaking to me. Be aware, they sell you and then they ghost you when things aren’t right. With all these issues I don’t think much quality control goes into their inventory.

We bought a Toyota Sienna last week from Velocity that we are loving. I called ahead and they had the van waiting out front warming up for us. Kyle and Jake were very friendly and great to work with. I was disappointed when I purchased my car. They only provided 1 key fob and no car manual. Had to purchase these items separately. Ask about these items, the salesman said the car was probably, wasnt sure, a car rental and it didnt come with these items.Normally the car is thoroughly cleaned inside and out. They washed the outside, and vacuumed but the windows were not cleaned. Windshield had a film on the inside and the dashboard etc... were not wiped down. Something very sticky on the console that came off with a good cleaning. Probably would not purchase another car from these folks.

I usually dont write reviews, but I had an extremely good experience here with Trevor, compared to the other dealerships i visited in the area. Trevor listened to what i needed and suggested a few vehicles and let me test drive them. I was able to get a solid understanding of the cars and whether or not if it would fit my needs. I didnt feel any pressure and he was extremely nice to work with. Would definitely recommend and will be looking for him when i buy my next car.

I went over from Ogden to purchase a car from them. I was already approved through my credit union for a both direct and indirect loan. My CU put a stipulation to pay off a signature loan that I owed to them. So I went ahead and pay it off. Then velocity staff said they just needed to make a call to verify I got that loan paid off, but it was Saturday night, so the CU was closed. Then they suggested that I get all the papers signed up, so I went ahead and did that. Bryon promised to deliver the car Monday...well Next thing I know nobody is answering the phone anymore. I was told quite a few lies. It was Wednesday, and I did not have the car delivered as promised so I went ahead and escalated with my CU to see if my both loans were ready to be funded, they said yes and stated the dealership was holding the car. Since nobody answered my calls, and I had signed the contracts Saturday and did not have the car on Wednesday I went ahead and canceled the loan to my CU and the dealership. Instead of getting an apology from them or at least make it right I get a text with insults, and a statement saying I was banned to go to their dealership. Then they blocked my number LOL. I felt I was in high school again. This is from a professional that is still on his 20s. Remember there are hundreds of cars on sale elsewhere. I had bought a car from Velocity before, and I know they swap tires and/or parts so I could not trust them when they said they were going to deliver the car on Monday, but did not answer the phone until Wednesday. ATTENTION OWNER OF THIS DEALERSHIP: BE AWARE OF THE PRACTICES THAT YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE DOING.

My wife and I had a good shopping experience here with Trevor, one of their Sales Reps. He was able to find us the trucks we were considering and was hands-off enough to where we didnt feel pressured or overwhelmed. He even went as far as to have the next truck contender waiting for us (seat warmers on and all) for when we returned from our test drive.Great staff and location.

Went in on Tuesday to check out a couple cars for my younger brother and just wanted to leave a review because this experience has changed my outlook on car buying. Adam was an incredibly genuine human being and our wants and needs were put in front of making a sale. We were able to get my brother a beautiful car that he just loves! I would absolutely recommend this place 100 times over. I spent a year seeking for the perfect vehicle for my little family. What a nightmare it was, until I found the car I was on the hunt for available here. I walked in and was handed keys. I wasn’t harassed or bullied by the salesman. I had a few requests and not only did they get a little scuff out but my car was washed, detailed and filled with gas for me to pick up the next day. Whitney was so knowledgeable and helpful. I have the payment in the exact range I wanted it to be with a great warranty. I left knowing I was in the right hands. The entire process was professional and the employees were so kind and helpful. I should have written a review when I got my crossover back in April. My husband just bought a truck from a different dealership (shame on him) but it was only because they had the exact truck he wanted. It was a complete nightmare and I realize how much a good rating can affect a business. So thank you Velocity. I’ve been shopping online and narrowed down my options and went to Velocity tonight to buy a car. I’d texted with a salesman earlier in the day to tell him I would come in tonight and he assured me the car would be ready. Sent him another text when I was 15 minutes away. Not only was the car dirty (couldn’t even see through the windshield), but the battery died when I went to restart it after turning it off for 2 minutes. I saw the salesman walk in with a battery charger after he told me he was getting it pulled up for me, but I thought that couldn’t be for the car I’m driving. My jumper cables were in my car at the dealership, so I had to search around for someone to help me jump the car. In addition, the car looked like it has been sitting for months. The brake shoes/axles were rusty, there were spider webs on the back, and hard water all over it that looked like it probably wouldn’t come off. Mind you, this is a 2016 with 30k miles. I’d been looking at their inventory and they had several options that would have fit well what I was looking for, but I’m certain that their customer service during the test drive is a good indication of the rest of the buying experience. Maybe I didn’t look like I was ready to buy for some reason so they didn’t take me seriously. Hard to explain in my mind why they wouldn’t treat every prospective customer like a customer. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I worked with Trevor from the start, I just came in and he was super laid back with a “no pressure vibe” Ended up walking out with my dream car within 24 hours with the monthly payment I wanted. Told Them exactly what I was looking for. Had an extensive conversation about everything. Get back to go talk to the financing person. Would hardly call him a manager. Has me fill out information and then runs credit without approval. Fully knowing they weren’t going to even consider what we had talked about before because “the only reason people talk to him is because they are buying a car”. Didn’t apologize for running credit without permission. Instead just sat there telling me it was “the bank that ran the credit not him”. Ok sure the bank did it just because they wanted to. Not because you pushed the. Run credit button. Kyle was the worst sales person I’ve ever spoken to. Either he was too scared to close the deal or just doesn’t know how to close someone and pawns it off to someone else.

I recently went to velocity and met my salesman, Trevor. He was extremely helpful and super nice. I had been looking for a new car for a couple of months. Trevor was able to get me into a really nice car, which I absolutely love. I would definitely recommend velocity and Trevor.

I would give this dealership negative stars if i could, but unfortunately that is not an option. My bf and i test drove my future 2017 Hyundai elantraand by first appearance seemed like a good car. However, the heaters airflow seemed to be non-existent. We Mentioned this small problem to the dealer and he said they would take a look at it and have a solution for when we make our final purchase the next day. When we did return the next day we were told it was an internal core heating issue and they gave us a warranty to come fix ANYTIME, emphasis on anytime. A month into owning the car the heater problem escalated into a full blown internal cooling issue. We couldnt drive the car more than five miles before it was undrivable due to overheating. Due to the start of the pandemic we were unable to take the car in to get fixed until about 1 month after the overheating started. We were shown no sympathy and were told our ANYTIME warranty expired in 30 days if we to read the fine print. The worst part comes next. We bought the 70 dollar part to fix the blend door actuator. We were absolutely stunned at what we found. The vents of the original part were covered in duct tape. When we removed the duct tape the car stopped overheating. We believe velocity put the tape there to create an imaginary problem for their pathetic excuse of a car dealership to fix requiring us to feed them more money. If you want to purchase a car from velocity i suggest you come suited with a strong defense attorney, otherwise you will get played.

About 2 weeks ago we visited Velocity Auto Sales in American Fork to look for a used car. We also checked out other dealerships in the area as we did our homework. Without question, Ty at Velocity was the most professional, courteous, and knowledgeable salesman hands down. He worked with us to look at several options, resolved our concerns quickly, and was extremely helpful in the process. I think if we would have ask Ty to drop and do 100 push-ups he would have done it! We ended up purchasing the car from Velocity and had a pleasant experience in the process. If you are in the market for a used car, I would highly recommend Velocity Auto Sales and you should absolutely ask to work with Ty!

Fantastic. They had the best prices, hands down, for the vehicle we were looking for. I went in knowing they dont negotiate on price, but honestly the price they had was lower than any price I could have haggled down to at any other place. I looked for an entire week online, at dealerships, CL, etc. For us it was a 400 mile drive. Ty was friendly, honest, and personable, he returned calls promptly, explained the price and fees, looked over the cars were were interested in for us--all prior to our trip--and everything was exactly as he said. No BS, no upselling, no bait and switch. They went above and beyond on everything! We left happy.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They scam you to buy their ALPHA warranty that DOES NOT COVER ANYTHING, knowing that, they are selling you a vehicle with bad transmission and to top that bad breaks and two defective tires with screwdrivers in it. TOTAL EXPENSES FIXING THE VEHICLE: $2,800.

This process really lets you figure out how much you like the vehicle.Also their finance person was amazing, really fought to get us the best deal. He called several banks with our offer until we found the best fit to get us into a new car.I will always recommend Velocity Auto Sales in American Fork.

Where to start, Velocity Auto Sales is a company who only cares about making money. They don’t care about getting you into a reliable vehicle.Myself and my Sister both purchased vehicles from velocity and they had nothing but issues The vehicle I purchased had transmission problems and problems with the Lifters with their warranty they agreed to replace both at no cost, the “new” transmission went out less then a month after it being replaced and the lifters seized after they “replaced” them as well i took my car to a different mechanic who had told me that the transmission was replaced with a used transmission and that only 1 lifter was replaced when the lifters come in a kit to replace all of them.In My sisters car the steering column was completely shot and after having it for less then a year the transmission also started having problems to which velocity refused to help fix without them paying thousands of dollarsI know multiple people who have worked for velocity in the paint shop prep shop detail shop and body shop they have all told me the same stories that management doesn’t care about the employees and they don’t care about selling reliable cars they buy cars at auction for super cheap throw quick fixes on them sell the cars and then when the cars break down or have issues they tell their customers tough luckThey purchase allot of cars out of places like Texas where the cars are flooded and sell them without disclosing the information to the buyer. They also buy allot of rental cars and sell them and don’t tell you that it was a rental. Their body shop does questionable work The manager of the body shop (Jerry) doesn’t know what he’s doing half the time and the bondo jobs look like they were done by 3 year olds full of pin holes the detail shop does second rate work at best they don’t know how to do exterior work on cars and you can see burn spots where they’ve tried to buff out scratches on cars. The only decent person is Clint at the Draper location. The American fork body shop is awful and the manager (Kinley) doesn’t know what she’s doing half the time.The Paint and Prep Shop (Danny V. Patrick) are amazing and work their butts off to be under appreciated. Please avoid doing business with velocity. They are scam artist at best. They will sell you broken down cars and refuse to help when the car breaks down even more even if it’s under their warranty. The owners drive hundred thousand dollar cars and constantly have them being worked on repainted but won’t pay their employees what their worth or buy and sell cars that are decent and won’t break down in a year.

Honestly, I had never heard of Velocity, but after some online shopping, we found they had the most options and best prices for the car we were looking for. We were impressed at the low key feel of the whole place, and how we were not immediately hounded by salesmen. We looked at cars around the whole lot and then went inside and were greeted and helped. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and quick. At no point did we feel pressured to make a choice or like their interest was more important than ours. Cory with financial got us a fantastic deal and made our time there enjoyable.For me though, the true test of how good a dealership is is based on their Service department. We were pleasantly surprised when we worked with polite service managers, who were quick and knowledgeable. Overall we enjoyed our experience with Velocity and would return.

We bought a car from Konner today. The whole process went smoothly from start to finish. It was also very fast and easy. Everyone was friendly and there was no pressure to buy or hurry. We would definitely reccomend them to anyone looking for a car!

I won’t buy from Velocity again. The whole experience has been bad. From the moment I walked in looking to test drive a car the sales rep acted like he couldn’t have cared if I bought a car or not. After test driving cars I picked out the one I wanted, my sales rep even told me I would get 0% APR because my car was over $20,000, that was a lie. Everyone there was in basketball shorts and the finance guy even complained to me about working on his day off to “get me squared away”. It was a very unprofessional environment to be in. It has been 3 weeks today that I bought my car and they STILL haven’t paid off my old loan for my other car, then even tried calling me Friday to tell me I owed them $51 for the 14 day percentage pay off rate. When I asked to talk to the manager the sales rep hung up on me. I called my bank and velocity had just called on Friday to ask for the pay off date for June 1! Now my pay off date is late, it has now hit my credit score, and I still have not received a call back from the manger or even the finance guy. If you are looking for a headache while buying a car, I suggest these guys.
