I only gave it 4 stars because I called a week before to set an appointment then when I got there the day of the appointment they told me it would be 1-2 days before they looked at my truck. If I would have know that ahead of time I could have planned accordingly to be with out my vehicle for 3 days other wise very happy with the service provided and once they got the truck in the service was performed in a timely fashion.

BY FAR the best car buying experience we have ever had! I am not one to jump in and write a review until I have time and can really see how it went. We bought a car here and I will forever do business here! Josh Dean helped us with our sale and he was seriously AMAZING! I have never felt more comfortable with a car buying experience. He actually cared. It was amazing! They helped us run all sorts of numbers, stayed late so we knew exactly what we wanted to do and made it all so smooth! They had me take it back in a few days later to get detailed and to check out a simple fix. They have stood by their product 100% and I honestly couldnt be happier! I called about a recall on my Chevy Avalanche and Shelby was very friendly and helpful in getting an appointment setup. I took my car the next day to the appointment but got the wrong dealership across the road from Ken Garff. I walked into the Service department, and saw a technician. I said hello and the technician looked at me and didnt say a word turned his back on me and went looking through papers etc. Finally some guy came out and said I was at the wrong place. I went to Ken Garff and pulled up to a service door, it was almost closed and a guy stopped the door from closing and re-opened it. I asked him where to take my car. He told me this was the wrong service area and gave me directions on how to get to the proper place. I made my way over to the right service area and walked in and someone greeted me right away. Then I walked over to Matt and he aske how he could help me. Told him my issue he got my number and started to ask more info. I told him I spoke to Shelby yesterday and he asked if she got all my info. I told him yes. He then stated if Shelby got your information we are good. Told me it would be done later today. I was surprised because Shelby said it could be anywhere between 24 -48hrs. Matt reassured me that it would be done today. Then he asked me if I needed a ride home or if someone was going to pick me up. I was surprised he offered to give me a ride home. I was not even half way home when I got a text from Matt saying if I had any questions or concerns to let him know. This doesnt happen with other dealers. Later in the day I got a text from Matt with a video from the mechanic letting me know other issues he found inspecting my vehicle. Matt asked me if I wanted to get them fixed today or what I wanted to do. I told him if I could get estimates on the repairs that would be great, seeing how I wasnt expect to pay for anything because it was a recall. When I went to pick up my vehicle, Matt had a print out of the issues they found and estimates for repair. MAN I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH GREAT SERVICE. I would highly recommend anyone to take their car to Ken Garff, or even if they are considering buying a car Ken Garff in American Fork is the place to go. AWESOME experience. We were politely greeted at the door by Brady, who made the experience great. He was determined to find a vehicle that worked for us at the right price. Brady is not a dull salesman. Easy to talk to and loves John Wick as much as I do (I cant wait for the private screening)! My girlfriend had been corresponding with Seth, the salesman. Seth was very friendly and helpful and we decided to come down and get our name on a truck coming in next week. While at the dealership, we noticed another truck that we were more interested in. Seth was helping another customer at the moment so another salesman named Brady came over and helped get us started looking at the new truck. I thought that Brady helping out until Seth finished showed great teamwork. Seth got all the paperwork knocked out quickly and we love the truck. They were very nice and honest with me. I went in for a factory recall and they unexpectedly did a overview of my truck and let me know all the problems they had found! I was also amazed with the technician doing the overview and loved the video they did to show me exactly what was wrong. I enjoyed my experience and would definitely go back.

The service at this dealership is not the best with time. I was told I need to bring my truck in the day before it would be looked at. I was completely okay with that, I get that a ton of places are busy right now. So I took it in on Wednesday so it could be looked at and repaired on Thursday. All Thursday no phone call from them, not even to tell me that they wouldn’t be getting to it. So I called them Friday morning, they told me that they’d get to it Friday after lunch. Friday afternoon no call, so I called them Friday night and they told me that they still haven’t gotten to it and that they would get to it until Monday. Fast forward to Monday morning I finally got a call from them. It inspect and repair it took maybe 2 hours. When the truck was in the parking lot for days. It’s really annoying when this happens because I needed a vehicle all weekend and didn’t have one. I should’ve got it back on Thursday, but I didn’t. I didn’t even get a call from them to tell me it’s backed up. I’m not happy with this experience and I’ll probably not be going back until they fix this.
It took weeks for your technicians to figure out an emissions problem with my 1995 Chevrolet Silverado. I realize its an older vehicle, but I feel like experienced technicians would have been able to pinpoint the problem much sooner.The last item you fixed was the one item an employee of the Utah County Vehicle Emissions department suggested after a 5 minute phone call with me.I feel like I spent over a $1000 in repairs that didnt fix the issue. I think the only thing you do well is upsell unnecessary repairs.I wont be using your services again.
We own a company and purchase vehicles every year. This was my first time purchasing a Chevrolet. I don’t have very much patience and or time, and I definitely do not like it when Salesman’s are pushy. With that being said, I had an amazing experience with my salesman Darrin! I told him what I was there for, he showed me a few vehicles and we got to business. He was kind, patient with me and helped reassure me that I would be purchasing what I wanted. My vehicle is not on the lot as of yet however Darrin calls me everyday to tell me what the ETA is. He goes above and beyond and is definitely a brand in action for Ken Garff!!! He deserves a raise!! Hes the most honest and hardworking car sales man there! He goes above and beyond his job description and will do anything to help you get the car you need! All you have to do is tell him what youre looking for and hell go to work to find you the best deal and a vehicle that wont break your bank! Honestly, if it werent for Joshua, my husband and I wouldnt car shop here. This dealership needs more people like him!
My wife and I were greeted by Troy. And what a great experience we had with him and everyone at the dealership. Great experience. We drove away in a new vehicle to us and financing was so easy.
The service at this dealership is steadily getting worse. Ive been going there for years, and at one time, the service was good and the people were honest. Not anymore. I made an appointment to have the oil changed on my car for $49.99. They charged me almost $60 for the $49.99 oil change. I also had them rotate the tires, which they said would cost $15. It cost nearly $20. After they added in taxes, what should have cost around $70 including taxes cost just under $80. If I wanted my keys back, I had no other choice but to pay it. Ten dollars isnt that big of a deal, but I just cant stand the dishonesty. Also, I watched them park my car in the parking lot after they were done with the oil change, and waited for almost ten minutes for them to notify me that my car was done. This never happened. I finally walked up to the counter to ask them when I would be getting my keys back. Four employees were gossiping, and wouldnt even acknowledge that I was there. I finally had to get angry and break into their conversation. When I did, they all acted like I was the one being rude. This place had better start treating their customers better, or they wont have any customers.
9/16/21This dealership will not honor their online prices so beware. Found this advertisement on their website and decided to give them a call. Told them about their online price and they told me they would call me back. After some time, a sales associate contacted me and told me the advertise price was wrong. They actually had a dealer mark up on the vehicle. They refused to honor their price. I reside out of state and was going to have to cross two states. Glad I contacted them before driving there, otherwise I would have been played by them big time.If I can, I’ll give it zero stars for bad customer service.

I loved my Service Tech John Kinder. He was great.I gave the overall low score to the dealership because I called them to ask to plug my electric car in so I would have a full charge when I picked it up.I turns out they park service department cars in the charging space routinely and the lot guy just parked it three spaces down and didn’t get it charged. I left with a partial charge after paying $950 for repair.Ken Garff Chevrolet needs to keep their puny one charging space open for, guess what, electric cars and not old pickup trucks. Very disappointed.
I have been waiting to do this review for a while, I hoped the issues we had would’ve been fixed so I could leave a positive review. However that was not the case. My husband and I traded in a vehicle and purchased two new used vehicles in mid July. Our salesman was Darrin. Not even a day after taking the vehicles home we noticed one vehicle was making a grinding noise when we turned. I called Darrin about the issue and we did get the vehicle in to get that fixed. Although we were originally told about how excessive and throughly they supposedly check each used vehicle before selling it. We had to drive it back to American fork which is an hour from where we live to get that issue fixed. We thought that would be the end of it, but it was not. Before we took the vehicles home both vehicles where filled with gas, so we didn’t have the need to put gas into the vehicles for a while. The first time I went to put gas into the same vehicle we had issues with the first time, we realized there was an issue with the gas tank. When we got gas and turned the car on it stalled and had trouble starting up, shaking the vehicle vigorously. And lastly, we were promised car mats for this vehicle as part of our sales deal, it is now October and have not received those car mats. Our wonderful salesman Darrin has a hard time replying to emails and answering calls dealing with this matter.
We needed to get our wheel bearings replaced. It took a day and a half to get it done which was really quick. The car feels brand new and works even better than when we bought it. Thanks Ken Garff! We’ll be back!
This past weekend, I was shopping for a used car. I went to a few other dealerships before going to Ken Garff, however all they wanted to do was sell me a car not in my budget and not helping me. I decided to stop by Ken Garff where Seth Casillas, greeted me with a smile and actually listened to what my needs were as a customer. The salesman was great. He tried to speed up the process but the team was not cooperating. Unfortunately the process was very slow. I paid cash and it took 4 hours when it should have been less than an hour. Very poor sales process systems.. Truck is great. Just wasted a lot of valuable time.

I have only purchased a couple vehicles new, this being my third. However this was by far my most enjoyable experience! And I am not easy to please. However Tysen, Roy, Alex and Jeremy all made it great. I really did feel like it was a valued experience and I was treated like a valued customer. Almost to the level of a friend. Its strange but after I was done and on my way home with my new Truck, I thought, I need to return and do something nice for them like a lunch or dinner! What? Right, I have know idea why, but that is how I felt. I still might swing by with just such a treat to say thanks for a great experience!
Ron was so helpful and kept me updated with the days plans and any delays. He was also very flexible with changes to my schedule. I also really appreciated the video walk-through of the mechanics inspection.
I scheduled a oil change/tire rotation for 845, showed up a little earlier like 830. There were some cars ahead of me. Guy told me I would be there for an hour/hour and a half. I was done by 915! Way quick service. It was nice because I work graveyards so I was able to get home quicker than I planned and get more sleep

Everyone that we interacted with was very helpful and eager to please. The purchase experience was smooth and pretty quick, especially given that our original rep was not available when we closed on the vehicle and we were working with a second rep to do so. Admittedly bummed that COVID and supply chain-related production difficulties prevented us from customizing a vehicle, but were happy with the one we were able to get. Only thing holding it back from a 10 is were still in the process of having some accessories ordered and installed and dont know how that will turn out.
Super quick and efficient. Was in and out for a full oil change and tire rotation within 20 min. Had beverages and a comfortable waiting room while waiting.
Everything went really well. Everyone was friendly. They didnt tell me the theft protection was optional, it was just added into the price of the truck. But if it works like they say, it will be worth it.
We have been using Ken Garff Chevrolet for service and warranty repairs on our custom van for a about 4 years now. We travel a little over 100 miles to their dealership for service. Brett, our service tech always gets us scheduled convenient to our travel for health appointments, gets us on the rack and out in a timely manner and provides a comfortable setting for while we wait. The dealership is friendly, clean, very well managed and our service contracts are always a good value for us. We get personal attention and great service. Wow the service team went above and beyond my expectations. I had a recall on my car that needed to be serviced and was not informed that it would be an all day affair. They offered to Uber me home so that I did not have to wait there all day. Later in the day I received via text a video of the service and thorough check of my car. An unpleasant day turned out to be quite nice. Thank you!
Seth is the bomb! I came to this dealership with basically zero interest in buying that day. They just happened to have the exact car I was looking for, but a little higher price than I was wanting. He did everything he could to make my payment more manageable and helped me with my trade in value for my current vehicle. Easy to schedule. They got my warranty issue taken care of quickly, provided a free Lyft ride home while the work was being done, sent a text update on the progress and included a video with a multi-point inspection, and patched a nail hole in my tire tread at no charge. Friendly and courteous staff to work with.

Communication and customer service lacks big time here. My vehicle was there for 5 days and I had to call to get updates each time because nobody will update me. In the meantime I had to figure out what to do without a vehicle. Definitely not taking our vehicles here anymore as this has been constant, even before Covid.

Traveling in Utah from Nevada for work, I had overlooked the mileage I would be logging and ended up bringing my oil mileage to a critical point.Without wanting to risk damage to my Diesel 1500, I looked for a facility in the Salt Lake area and could not find a dealer with an available appointment, and regular oil change shops could not assure me they could get the specific oil needed for the truck.Ken Garff Chevrolet was an easy site to find an appointment next day for an oil change - they got me in at my 4pm appointment and Colton had me out quickly (all while checking in on other concerns I brought up).Was back on the road so quickly I didn’t even have the chance to setup my laptop in the waiting area and get into “work mode.”Thank you Colton and thank you Ken Garff Chevy for the professional and efficient service that was unplanned, taking the worry out of the rest of my work trip.

Purchased a used vehicle at this dealership for the first time ever.. A week later the battery went out and had to be replaced and the motor on the wiper fluid dispenser broke before we made our first car payment. 3 months later we finally called about our plates as they had not arrived. They had been sitting there and nobody bothered to call us to pick them up or to put them in the mail. I have never had a bad experience at a used car dealership until this one. The sales rep we dealt with had no integrity. Full of laughs until we bought the car then....nothing. Our calls went unanswered.If you are buying a used car, dont assume they are being honest and ask ALOT of questions. I learned my lesson and will go with my gut next time.The two stars are for the Financial Department which was amazing.
