I visited this location in search of three things: 5.56mm ammo, a new hard sided gun case for my AR and to get my paintball Co2 tanks filled. There was 1 box of 20 rounds of ammo for $25.00, they had no gun cases in stock that would work and they sell, but dont fill Co2 tanks. If my rating were based on supply and inconvenience alone this would be a 1 star review, but the respectful and understanding way I was assisted by the manager and his team member was worth at least a couple stars. I understand that ammo especially, and anything firearms is in high demand and short supply, so it was really no surprise, but why sell something which is purchased from your store empty and must be filled before it can even be used, but you dont have the service to fill them, and then your staff has no clue where to even tell the customer to go to get it filled. I would highly suggest adding Co2 tank filling to the services Big 5 Sporting Goods provides, because there is a low supply and a pretty decent demand for it nation wide. Example:I now have to drive 35 miles away for the closest fill station.

What are the big 5? Are they talking about 5 sports? What would be on that list? Who named this company ? Where’s my sandwich at? :/ Someone answer all these please

Really thrilled with the quality of service and goods I went in for.My coleman work boots are a genuine product 13 wides are hard to find and It was love at first insertion of my ankle.The reviews I have read about this boot do not do it justice and honestly Im thrilled about the purchase 🤠Excellent job big 5 team they were prompt in all areas of service within the store.👍😃💯Five months later down the line they wore out didnt really hold up in a machine shop and soles lasted about 3 months before inserts were required.

Today I went to the American Fork Big 5 store to buy a pair of shoes. I drove a long distance and arrived at 8:45 pm. The website and door sign states that it closes at 9 but the employee at the door would not let me in the doors. He stated that they were no longer serving customers and that the sign on the door was wrong. I will not make an effort to drive back to this store at any time.

Nice place if theres something specific in an odd size that you are looking for. The prices arent great unless on clearance or sale, and they dont have a lot of sizes for kids.

Very happy with my experience at this location! I was waiting on a trampoline and they were extremely responsive and proactive in updating on expected times and communicated delays while waiting. The manager, who I interacted with several times, was very personable and provided excellent customer service. I was very impressed with the other employees as well.

I’ve written reviews on other sporting good stores, but you can’t get everything or find everything in one place. I have no patience to place an order. When I want something, I want it now. Big 5 has a lot of assortments of things. They not only have a lot of variety, but they do specialize in sports gear, braces, orthotics, clothing to shoes. Great customer service and a clean store makes you shop more. So if you don’t go here first, you need to keep this place in mind. They surprise me when I want something I need and the other stores don’t have it. You can order things if you have more patience then me and there is always sales going on. I go to the closest sporting place first and depending on my route, I go here frequently as a Nike guy. It’s a well managed staff with good customer service. This place has been around a long time because they have a great variety and prices for all budgets. So keep this store on your list.

Big 5 Sporting Goods accounts for about 80% of the shoes my kids wore ages 6 to 18. While Im a huge fan of Big 5, I dont go out of my way to come to this location. The one in Orem has a much bigger selection.

It’s been a while since I’ve come to big 5, but I decided to stop by because I was looking for a new water bottle. It seemed like no one had the exact water bottle I wanted, and I had checked Walmart, amazon, and play it again sports. Big 5 itself didn’t have the water bottle either, but luckily there was a fellow with a super cool beard who I assume was the manager that was extremely helpful with showing me the water bottles they do have. I ended up finding a water bottle that actually suited my needs better, which was pretty nice.

This store is great! The customer service is better than any other sporting goods stores I have visited. I have purchased several knifes from this store. They have great quality knifes at incredible prices. I recently went in to purchase a new knife after the tip broke off a knife I had purchased there a month or two ago. I figured that I would need to contact the manufacture and see if they would replace it, however, I wanted to buy another of the same knife to have while I waited. To my surprise the manager replaced it with one he had in stock with out me even asking to do so. I was very impressed.I would highly recommend Big 5!

Big 5 has sports items that I cant always find at Walmart. I like going there because they usually have the odd sport thing I need.

They pack a lot of goods into a small space. Good to see the little guy doing well. Sometimes the selection feels like a bit of a lottery. I tend to find what I am looking for more often than not though. Employees are always around to answer questions. sales are typically worth it. Parking is plentiful. Egress is over-engineered and limited. I suppose it is necessary due to how busy Am Fork Main St is.

Great selection of sporting goods, clothing, and other sports-related equipment. Price-check; if it’s on sale it’s usually a better deal than you can get at other places. If it’s not on sale, ask the staff about a discount price. Typically, Big 5 goods rotate on sale every other week. It pays at Big 5 to push a little.

I come here over other sporting goods stores in the area because of the customer service! I can go anywhere, especially online if I want a product, but I really enjoy coming in and shopping locally and enjoy the friendly service I get here. Thanks for being a great local sporting goods store!

Good selection on sporting equipment. Bought baseball gear here, shoes, glove, and a catchers mask. Also bought ski pants a d goggles this winter. Big 5 isnt as big as some of the other sporting retail stores, but I found that they have a better selection of true sports equipment and gear.

Best service ever! We were looking for a trampoline but they were all sold out. Blaze called many stores near by to find one in stock and then gave us a sale price that had ended. He was very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we got a trampoline for our kids that were begging for one! Ill definitely use this this store for all of my sporting good needs! Good selection for such a small store. They have managed to cram a lot of sporting goods items into such a small store. Items include outdoor water sports, baseball, football, soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, skating, camping, hunting, firearms, knives, home gym and exercise accessories, shoes and clothing. Prices are decent and you can get a discount by signing up for their e-mail list. Just wish this store was a little larger.

Look for the $10 off if you spend $30 coupon in your mail. Its always a good one. This is my favorite place to get running shoes. I dont run, but theyre comfortable on my feet. I like Saucony and they can be pricey but theyre always a good deal here. Good place for camping, sports, work out, and water stuff too.

Employees are friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of sports stuff. If you have a coupon, you can save some money. Some things are a good price, other things like the clothing arent as well priced.

Good selection of swim suits with good ones always on sale. I teach swim lessons during the summer, so those things are a huge plus for me. In the past 3 years, it has been my go to place for cheaper, good quality suits.

The people are always friendly and helpful. Good place to shop for outdoor wear and gear. Personally I dont think they have as good a selection of athletic gear and wear, but it is still pretty good.

Big 5 has a good deal occasionally on certain items. I bought a small tent with a coupon and the price was great...overall pricing seemed ok. Good for cheaper items not as high quality but for most it works.

It seems to be staffed with anyone who has a pulse, but their prices are good and their selection is much wider than you would expect. If youre needing anything sporty try here before looking for a specialized shop, prices are fair.

I went there for some shoes, and had a specific list from which I had to pick from, so I was worried it would be a hassle and there wouldnt be what I was looking for. However, there was an employee, whose name was Hawke, and he was fantastic. He knew everything we asked about shoes, and was incredibly helpful in meeting our specific demands. I dont know why I keep going to this store! Although the selection is decent, the employees are terrible. Just terrible. I needed to get soccer shoes for my 4 year old. I get it, theres not many sizes for her, but a little customer service goes a long way. Everyone who works there seems to just hate being there. Probably wont shop there again anytime soon.

Went in to maybe get a deal on a watch that was on an email special. After trying to set the watch in the parking lot, and discovering that it was not working right, I went back in, and they were very nice and helpful in resolving the issue.
