The best staff!!!!!!!! I ordered a bike in march knowing it would take a few months. I would check in every few weeks to check the status. They always took the time and were very friendly and helpful every time I called. When my bike did arrive they let me know when it shipped and that it would take a few days to assemble. They called me the next day saying it was ready :). The staff truly cares about their customers and I will be a life time supporter of them.

These guys are great! I spoke with a handful of staff members over a few visits and every individual who assisted me was fantastic. There was a mixup initially with a part we thought would be included in a brake bleed kit, but wasn’t. The missing part was backordered, so they offered to get my bike in to do the service for me this time around, and they ordered the missing part for me.I didn’t buy my bike from this shop, nor is it a Trek, but the staff at this shop were still committed to providing a great customer experience. I’ll be back for sure!
Service above and beyond!A burglar broke into our home and stole my bicycle. I had purchased it second-hand from a cyclist who purchased from TrekAF. Kyle, the manager, searched through sales records, contacted Trek Bicycle Corporation, and found the original serial number for the police report, even though Ive never set foot in the store. True kindness!Today, the local police ran a sting operation on the burglar, recovered my bicycle, and arrested him for this and other related crimes. The detectives made quick work of it thanks, in part, to the serial number match.Thanks, Trek of American Fork.

The team at Trek of American Fork, UT are awesome. My wife and I came into the store looking to upgrade our old mountain bikes. They used their camera technology to take our measurements. We were asked what type of riding we like to do and they showed us a few options that would suit our needs. They helped adjust the bikes to our height and weight and we left the store with two sweet bikes. Three days and 5-6 ride sessions later, were still very happy customers. Thanks guys!

**Update Thanks for your response. I respectfully disagree and that at least one employee on the floor was a sales person. Why else did he approach the door as we left? Communication is key in this new normal. An employee should have explained to us what was going on instead of leaving us out there. That would have made us feel valued. Just a thought.I get it..we’re experiencing a pandemic but really? We were immediately acknowledged at the door by as she stated “just the door greeter” and proceeded to tell us she would get a sales person and to wait outside. Well, we waited for at least 7 min in 95 degree heat with our masks on. (No other customers were waiting) All this time we were watching inside which had two employees and no customers on the sales floor. We couldn’t figure out what was taking so long for them to allow to us in. They were definitely not rushed to help us.We finally gave up and walked back to our car and that’s when the sales person finally STARTED to approach the front door. Too late. We’re taking our money elsewhere.

Great bikes and I saw a person receiving help from an employee and the employee looked helpful. We were there to do a return from something bought online and had a bit of trouble. Bikes are in my opinion over priced but still a good store.
I started looking around for an upgrade for my Giant Defy and despite my love for the Giant brand, I looked at Trek for some options (this is due to the local Giant dealer being a total POS and I am tired of poor service). The employees at this Trek location were incredibly knowledgable and very helpful in trying to sort out the best options for me (not just the priciest). They asked questions about my riding goals, current level of skill, current ride, height, weight, and so much more. I felt very comfortable and not pressured at all. Because of this Trek moved up my list significantly. Im waiting until this season is over to buy and Im happy Ive already narrowed it down to Trek and one other option. Thank you to all the people who helped me at Trek!

I had an issues with my bike from the day I opened it, bust more specifically the derailleur failing multiple times this season. I wasn’t too happy with how inconsistent the bike was. To my surprise neither did trek. They just wanted to help me out and get me back on the trail. In the midst of a pandemic they were able to provide the labor and parts within somewhat of a reasonable time frame at no cost to me. I’m amazed at the customer service that was provided. The Trek retail model provides tight integration between Trek stores and Treks online shopping technology so it was easy to find the bike I wanted and schedule delivery and service at the Trek American Fork store. With the Bontrager line of clothes and accessories, Trek stores are pretty much a one-stop-shop for me. The team at American Fork was great to work with. From management to sales and service, everyone was helpful and responsive. Theyve become part of my extended bike family.

I am a curious person. I like to understand how things work and why certain recommendations are made. This sometimes leads to a lot of annoying questions. At some bike shops I end up getting quickly dismissed. That was not the case here. Trek Bicycles American Fork took the time to explain the answers to my questions. I wasnt seen as an inconvenience. I felt respected and I knew why they were making the repair suggestions they were. It was easily one of my best bike shop experiences ever. Thank you!

From Reeves, right on through the rest of the staff we worked with, it was top to bottom professional service. We had a lot of back and forth to answer my questions and find the right mountain bike for my daughter as she begins racing. We received a great bike and the service was prompt and very helpful. My daughter has had a perma-grin on her face since we picked up the bike!
Wonderful bike shop. I took my RAD Electric bike in to have the brakes adjusted (squeaking, not aligned properly) and they took care of it in just 2 days for less than $40. They were very friendly and just plain nice. I could not be more pleased. They are currently very busy with bike servicing (I know why, its because they are so good, plus the current demand) and still took care of me in short order. Highly recommend.

I have been to the Trek Bike shop a few times over the past couple of years. Each time I have been in there the staff are always very courteous and friendly, but never sales pushy!. Last Saturday my wife said lets go and look at an electric mountain bike. She had seen one on the Trek website a few days earlier and knew what she wanted. When we arrived at the shop there was a slight wait as they were trying to keep customer numbers to a sensible level in the store, due to current Covid 19 restrictions.When we enquired about the bike she had seen on the website they were out of stock in her size, due to demand. The store manager explained that there was one of the ones she had picked out in another Trek Store in north Salt lake but it would have to be built up, which could take a day or so to do. However, there was an electric mountain bike in her size of a much higher spec and a different color. I was the one who enquired about this higher spec bike but the shop manager, Mason took the time to explain to my wife the full specification, the differences and what the upgraded components will give over the original bike she had looked at. The bike was quite expensive, and Mason was very attentive during the whole purchase. However, my impression of him and the way he made us feel in the store would probably be same if we had gone in there to buy a $2 Item.The customer service was exceptional. Forgive me if Mason is not the shop manager, if not, you have a great candidate for the job in the future.I knew after her first ride that I would also need a new bike to keep up. The very next day, Sunday, we had to drive to the Cottonwood Trek shop, as American Fork is closed on Sundays. They had an electric mountain bike my size. So that is both of us hooked up with TREK Bikes. Their customer service was great too, it must be a TREK shop trend, great customer service.Regards.

Great customer experience in the purchase of two bikes on separate occasions. They stayed late when I arrived just before closing time and let me try out a bike in which I was interested. Staff is kind, passionate about biking, and well-informed.
My son is an avid long distance biker and has been using a Walmart bike for the longest time. I felt like he earned a quality road/mountain bike so I checked this place out. They went over several different models and options with me. No pressure at all to buy that day. When I did go back to purchase a bike, they walked me through different options for his specific style of biking. When I brought the bike back in to have my sons seat adjusted, they made sure the bike was ready go and safe. Let me know different service packages they offered when it came time to do so. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will continue to go back.

I took my daughters bike there expecting to be charged at least 20 to 30 dollars for fixing what ever the issue was. They looked at it and saw that it was a loose chain issue caused by using the wrong front and rear gear combinations. It was quite clearly explained to me what caused it and what needs to be done to ensure it does not happen again. I was quite happy to make a payment and then I was told that there was no charge. To anyone who is looking for a good place to buy or service a bike, I highly recommend this place.

They really know how to maintain bikes. They did an excellent job on a bike on which I had 7,000 miles. Runs like new and that is the absolute truth. I also purchased two new bikes from them and they did an excellent job of setting the bikes up. Very nice people to deal with.Brought my daughters bike there recently. Did a great job. The bike hadnt been cleaned or serviced for years. Looked almost as good as new.
I have received some of the best customer service Ive ever received at this store. I came in to the store hoping that Chris could help me overcome some shoulder pain issues that I got ever time I rode my bike. She was patient with this relative newbie and spent time to find out how I rode my bike, corrected my form, made minor adjustments to my bike and equipment, and solved my problem without pushing me for expensive purchases.Further, I bought a new pair of biking shoes (my first) the day before an 8-day bike and barge trip through Europe. When I got home I accidentally cut through the laces. I called the shop in a panic (remember, our trip was the NEXT DAY). Jeff offered to stay late to help fix my problem. There was nothing to do with that short of a notice but to jerry rig my shoes, but he took the time to and effort to make them trip worthy. Not only did they last through the trip, but they lasted the rest of the biking season.Thanks, in part, to Chris and Jeff our trip was an unqualified success AND they have won a customer for life!
Fantastic customer service. I was visiting my daughter from out of town and limited on time but wanted my daughters old mountain bike tuned up and add a child seat to the back so they could take their little one on a bike ride. I was hoping all this could be accomplished in 24 hours. They completed everything in 4 hours. Unheard of service. They promised it would be done and iverdelivered by having it done even sooner. Great shop and thank you again.

The staff here such as Dylan and Lisa are incredibly knowledgeable and most importantly, helpful. I find other other bike shops to also have knowledgeable staff, but this crew is also personable which is a quality most other bike shops lack in my experience. I love my Trek, all of the Bontrager components on it and the staff at this store.

I had (and continue to have) great experiences here. Jeff and Kris are awesome and both are incredibly knowledgeable. Lisa and the other staff are on par with their culture of knowledge and service. Only one time they werent sure of the answer to my problem so they called Fox to get it right. I really appreciate their honesty and sincerity in our dealings. If you want an amazing bike purchasing experience then look no further. Trek American Fork is top notch and I have never had such an awesome experience. Kris and Jeff have spent many hours with me in selecting just the perfect bike and accessories to meet my riding needs. Most bike shops just let you take a bike out for a spin in the parking lot giving no actual help or feedback. Kris gave me dedicated attention, let me bring my pedals and helmet and switched my pedals from bike to bike. She went out with me to watch me ride each time and really analyzed my riding and determining what bike was going to be the right size for me. I spent literally half a day hanging out at her shop while she helped me find the right bike, helmet, shoes, etc. She gave great feedback and perspective along the way. Kris paid great attention to all of the details to ensure I had the right width of handlebars, saddle, etc. She went above and beyond and I have been extremely impressed by all of the personal attention I received from both Kris and Jeff. These are good honest people that in the end just want you to enjoy the ride and feel good about what you are getting in the end. They were extremely fair in their pricing also. I received a text message with a picture of my bike when it was done! How many times can you say a bike shop went that far out of their way? Then there is the bike fit. Again, Kris then spent several hours with me making sure my fit was set up properly. She took great care making sure my shoes were just right with inserts, etc. to make sure I was going to be comfortable riding. I rode my bike several times and we made adjustments each time to make sure everything was just right. I would highly recommend this bike shop and I will be back!
I went into see Kris for a bike fitting and it went great. She was able to take a hot mess road biking beginner like me and get my bike set up just right and then took the time to coach me up on my riding posture. If you are willing to trust her process, I would highly recommend going to see Kris for your bike fitting needs.

I purchased my bike on 08/14/19 and Chris was an amazing help. She got me set up with the right bike, offered upgrades but didnt push. I was in and out in under an hour. Went on a 20 miler that evening and I am beyond happy with my purchase. My husbands MTB needs to be replaced and I know where we are going for his.

Jeff guided, advised and directed me to the one that was the best fit for me, and actually talked me out of the more expensive bike for a less expensive one that would be a better fit. Honesty is big for me and TREK AF has it and everything else that one would want when shopping for a new bike!
Very disappointed. I felt like a criminal. The door was locked and I had to stand outside and wait for 10 minutes for an employee to open the door. But I was not invited in. I was told I needed an appointment. So I left. Im a long time customer but sad to say I wont be back.

I am very happy with the service I receive from Trek Bikes in American Fork. I have purchased two bikes there and also had two mountain bikes refurbished. A few months ago I brought in a mountain bike for repair and they were super busy. However, they worked so hard to get it done in time for my sons bicycle activity at school the next day. Their service is top notch. I highly recommend Trek Bikes for new bicycle purchases and also for repairs on bikes that need a little TLC. They are so knowledgeable, fast, and easy to work with!
