Had 2 solenoids go bad on our 2013 Equinox and called Ken Garff (where we bought the vehicle) to see how much it would cost to replace them as well as a variable control timing actuator... $1,900. Called Point S and got a quote of $640. Then they took $100 off by deducting the charge for the diagnostic that found the problem in the first place. These guys are great, especially Ian, honest, friendly and very reasonable, you dont feel like youre being taken to the cleaners and they even gave us a 2 year, 24,000 mile roadside warranty assistance package with the service. Will be going to these guys from now on for any vehicle repair/maintenance.
I had a misunderstanding about one of my repairs and was very frustrated. The owner handled the issue well and I appreciate the whole teams patience with me. Would definitely recommend and will be going back for my future car needs.
I have seen the quality of service go down when going to these guys. My family and extended family feel were over charged because of inexperienced technicians doing the diagnostic. It would be better if this shop stuck to a set price for the diagnostic.
Great place! They were so helpful and they repaired our tire for free! Would recommend this place.
Excellent Service!I was in-n-out in 45 minutes. They also checked out some other issues and gave me a discount on the tire rotation/balance.Fair pricing. Great service and detail. Courteous, knowledgeable intake at the counter. In a world of tire shops this place is tops. Dont forget the free water!
Had to dispute a charge from you through my bank and they were more than happy to help. Over priced service and they will charge anything they can think of for your repair.
Brought in a damaged rim. Charged over 200 and said it cant be fixed. Wont refund the payment or do anything else. Final quote was over 2k. I have a copy of the invoice for $2443.02 if you like to see it.
Bought several inner tubes at this tire shop. Didn’t end up using two of them. The receipt said for returns or refunds I needed the receipt. So I brought the new inner tubes in the original, UNOPENED packaging to the shop. The guy at the front desk had some difficulty with the return, so he texted the owner. The owner said I couldn’t return them. This was never mentioned at time of purchase, the receipt indicated returns were allowed, and even the guys working the desk didn’t know they weren’t returnable. It felt really underhanded and disingenuous. If I’d known I couldn’t return them I likely wouldn’t have purchased as many. Not happy!!
Very disappointed. Had a flat on my SxS. Had it taken in for repair and they patched it. The next day it was flat. Had it taken back in and they said they could only put a tube in it for it to hold. Long story short it was flat again the next morning. So I ordered a set of tires they couldnt get and asked them to install them. They quoted $14 a tire. Once I dropped it off they noticed they where beadlock wheels and said it would be $30 each (Im fine with that), told me to bring It back another day. Yesterday I called and made arrangements to drop it off today. I took time off work to drop it off, got it checked in and got back in my truck to leave and the guy from the desk came running out to tell me they dont work on beadlock wheels. I was very up front with what I needed done and they failed me. I wont be using them again.
Always love these guys. We come back becuse its close and because they do a good job.
My go-to shop for everything. even after moving to salt lake, i still make my way down to AF for this shop specifically! quality people, quality service!
I had an appointment for a tire rotation. All employees wore a mask at all times. The one other person waiting in the waiting area, a young man refused to wear a mask. I work with a vulnerable population so, I decided to wait outside for my tire rotation. I felt very respected that the employee’s were conscious about others and the well being of their fellow humans. Not sure if the owner saw me go outside but, my car was done shortly after that. I barely even had time to check my email. I have no problem waiting as long as it takes but for that day I am thankful. They are the kindest and don’t give me BS like others do. Very much appreciated as always.
We were familiar with Point S from another city and were eager to find one here. Excellent service! They were fast and friendly and offered great prices. They even gave us a neat little key ring tag to keep track of our oil changes - buy 4 get 1 free! Highly recommend!
Absolutely the worse customer service I have ever seen! If you like to have to wait and wait for any repair by all means use these guys. They will not try and help you get anything done quick. They are anything but professional. I have used other point s locations and they take care of their customers.I called the owner Damon. His response to this review is not to come back to his shop. No problem there!
We have used Point S in American Fork for 5 years. We bought our snow tires for our 3 cars (and our son bought them for his 3 cars) with great (and time proven) recommendations. They store my winter and summer tires so I don’t have to fuss with storing them myself. Point S does almost all of our car maintenance as well. They are very honest, do great work, and the prices are competitive. I plan on continuing my use of Point S service far into the future.
We take all of our work vehicles here. They do a great job and are always honest with me. Definitely recommend.
Best tire and service shop in Utah County. Colton and Ian are awesome to work with, honest, and super knowledgeable. I’m a customer for life
Found our problem quickly! Had it fixed and ready to go the same day.
Ive only been using their services since 2015. I trust them and will encourage anyone to go there. Theyre friendly, quick and professional. They know their products and are fairly priced.
Shame on me for giving this store my business more than once. Ive been to multiple Point S locations and always had great experiences; however, the two times Ive been to the American Fork location have been extremely negative. Both times the sales people have employed classic bait and switch techniques to get my business by quoting a low price and then charging me more after the service is performed. Stay away and dont trust any quotes you get from Zach or Ian - even if you get them in writing.
I hadn’t heard about Pointe S until recently. I found some TOYO tires online for my RV and they were going to be $301 each. I first went to Les Schwab and they quoted me $418 a tire. I asked if they price matched and they said bring in what you’re wanting matched. When I showed them the deal, they said no. So I called Pointe S, and they sold me the exact same tire for $275 a tire, and I didn’t even tell that that I found that tire for $301 online. That’s a $1500 savings. I will always check with these guys first. Not only that, they don’t act like they’re doing you a favor, they seem genuinely grateful for your business. These guys get it.
Absolutely amazing service. The nicest most honest group of people you could ever hope to do business with.
Bummed with the delay of service. I made an appointment for a simple winter tire changeover. The tire changeover took well over 2 hours. I have gone to point s and had it completed in 20 min before. This location does not know how to prioritize their appointments and their walk-ins. Take your business elsewhere if you are time sensitive. On top of all this I took a walk outside to get some fresh air and watched as the technician working on my car threw my tire onto the floor and it landed on some sort of large tool damaging my rim, he didnt seem to notice or care as he went to get another tire and repeat. In response to your reply below Damon, I understand that you do not feel this happened, but I would not lie to slander your business. I did indeed watch this happen and possibly your camera did not capture this as I am not familiar with your security setup. Protecting your employees is respectable, but insulting your customers by completely denying what happened without apology or applicable customer service is far worse than the damage done to the wheel itself. Luckily I have steelies and not an alloy or specialty. The damage is easily negligible functionally, but your service is not.
Best repair shop Ive ever been to. Its hard finding a good shop. It is run well! Theyve done tons of work on all of 4 our vehicles so we have a pretty good idea of how they treat customers. Fast, affordable and the service is the best! Their shuttle service is free and super helpful so I dont have to sit there during an oil change. Theyll drop you off and pick you up from work. The owner is great to work with! They also have new Specialized E-bikes with helmets to cruise around on.Reference work: Ive had them do Catalytic Converters, Brake lines, Head gaskets, AC, Radiator and much more. I have 2 teenager cars! Oil changes are cheaper than the other places and they sell tires as well.
Have been taking cars to this location for service for many years and am always 100% satisfied. Damon and Zack are excellent!! Would recommend this location for any general car maintenance or questions.
I set up an appointment online at 2 o’clock and I showed up a little early to see if I could get in and they were unable to assist me because of so much business! Must mean they are doing well. We got our tires changed by them, took about an hour and then we left satisfied with their help. We may consider them for future auto service!
Fast service.
Very fair pricing, helpful staff, had a little trouble finding the location. But theyre more than happy to meet you out front :)
Always taken care of thanks guys !
This location is always clean, and the staff is very polite and professional. I dont mind driving from Heber City to American Fork because of the quality of service I always recieve.
Worst place ever
I had a really great experience here. the workers are knowledgeable and friendly and dont try to upsell me (even though i am sure they can see that they can absolutely tell me anything and i will believe it because i know nothing about cars.) they changed my tires in a super timely manner and were really helpful in explaining how to keep them in good repair.
T&C Tire Factory is a great place! They are always willing to take you even if its at the last minute. They provide great service and both my vehicles I have had serviced there are running great and in great condition! I would recommend T&C Tire Factory to anyone! Ill be going back again when my oil needs to be changed and my tires need to be rotated! They also send text reminders when you need to get your tires rotated and I find that very helpful with such a busy schedule! Its a great reminder! Thanks T&C Tire Factory!
Courteous friendly service, and they do a good job.
My experience with Tire Factory Point S was excellent. I damaged my van and needed repair and new tires. Ian took great care of me and kept me informed of everything that needed to be done and the expected cost. The repairs were done quickly and efficiently so I didnt need to be without a car for very long. Ian made me feel at ease through the whole process of repairing my van. I appreciated them taking pictures so I knew what was damaged and what they repaired. I would definitely recommend Tire Factory Point S for all services they provide.
Of course in 106 degree heat, the air conditioning in my Nissan just dies. Not just that, it start blowing hot air, turning my Altima into a large convection oven. We had to go on vacation soon so we needed it fixed before we got back. I read reviews and was cautiously optimistic about Point S. We spoke to Zach, who just told me to drop it off and he would diagnose it, starting with minor things before worrying about the big picture. Zach followed up the next day and the news was rough, pretty much on part failed and caused a domino effect. The price was fair and he promised to finish it by Wednesday at end of business and gave me an out the door price. No hidden fees, no we also found and best of all, fully completed on time. I could transport penguins while packing meat in my cabin now. Thank you Zach for walking us through the process and not treating me like an idiot. Point S definitely deserves all the high reviews they get!
Friendly and helpful service. Never had a bad experience. The option of using the shuttle service has been very convenient. I dont get the vibe that theyre trying to rip me off or encourage me to pay for things I dont need. Definitely recommend Tire Factory Point S in American Fork.
I’m conflicted because I think Point S does good work, but I had a frustrating experience. They worked on my car through Cascade Collision, but when I got my car back, the steering felt “weird” and so did the brakes. Cascade told me to communicate with Point S directly, which I did, but the problem didn’t get fixed (at least not in a timely manner, in my opinion). Basically, I took my car in to have them check it out again, and they said my alignment was good so there shouldn’t have been an issue (but they did fix something to do with my brakes that were put on wrong by them when they did the work the first time?). Steering was still off, I thought it was the steering rack, so I brought it in again, and they said they also thought it could be the steering rack. But they said they couldn’t work on it for a week because Ian was going to be out of town, and at that point, I was pretty frustrated. So, my insurance said I could take it to a different shop, which I did, and they immediately saw that one of my struts was badly bent. This other shop fixed it quickly and now I don’t have any steering problems. Just a little frustrated that a problem so obvious to another shop wasn’t caught and fixed by Point S the first time.
The staff at the AF location are amazing. I had them install a simple OEM oil filter from the dealer. The oil seeped out everywhere because the dealer supplied the wrong part (go figure!). They could care of the issue right away with their own part.
I have been a faithful customer of Tire Factory Point S for over a decade and have never been disappointed! I even moved away to Salt Lake City and then on to Minnesota for a few years before returning to American Fork, and once I did return, I took my vehicle to Tire Factory Point S every time I had an issue. The mechanics here are straightforward with what is going on and needs to be done with your vehicle. They let you know what parts of your vehicle will need to be replaced soon instead of telling their customers they need it replace this very moment to try and get more money for their business. The mechanics here have always been upfront with me and extremely personable and friendly. Also, their prices for different repairs are approximately 50% cheaper than their competitors and they do it masterfully. I have never had to return my vehicle after a repair for something that was not done right, or dine haphazardly. This place and its mechanics are absolutely magnificent! I would recommend them to anyone!
Best prices in town! I went to 7 different tires stores and Point S had the best value and price for the tires that I needed. They notify me when I need to rotate my tires and take good care of me every time I go to see them. You will not find a better price and customer service for tires.
They are excellent! My spouse and I bring our cars here for years. They are honest and very kind.i recomend this location 100%.
This is hands-down the best tire shop I’ve been to. And before you ask, no I’m not related to any of them. I didn’t know any of them before I went there. It’s just genuinely full of amazing people that I trust to do good work, on time, and in the absolutely friendliest manner. Highly recommend anyone needing car repairs or tire work go here. I couldn’t be happier.
Went in and got a great price on tires. My tags expired at the end of the month so for convenience sake I decided to leave it there for safety an emissions, since new tires was the last thing I needed. When I came back they told me my car was ready to go and the only problem they found was that it need 2 new break lights. They worked hard to make sure I was ready to get back on the road. Im very grateful for the tires and Ill continue to go there for my tire rotations to keep my warranty valid.
Nice guys, did the work and the issue was ultimately fixed. The issue I had with my repair was this... The repair was simple. I should have fixed it myself, but I didnt know what the issue was at first. The part was replaced but came loose a few days later and the noise was much louder making me nervous about driving it. I had to return and take 4 hours off work costing me valuable vacation time. I showed up right when they opened at 8am and I told them when I needed to be on the road. I went for a walk around the block a few times while I waited and noticed my truck was parked in the same spot for at least 2 hours. Around 11:30 I asked for a status and they told me it was done and handed me the keys. So, my conclusion was that my truck had been done for hours and they neglected to let me know so I figure that my $133 repair cost me about $350 in lost time. I also spent $864 there on new tires a week before. I completely understand mechanic shops charge for parts and hard-fixed labor hours... I just wish it could work both ways and I could charge them back for my time when appropriate. Its a two-way street, or at least it should be. Ill probably go back, but I am cautious.
You need to take an appointment to have your car serviced. I needed my AC car serviced. What they did was just to refill the AC gas, they did check if it was working on idle speed ( it doesnt work ) and they didnt sanitized the AC vents ( they stink ). So theyve been nice to me and the shop looks professional what bugs me is that after I left there my can for a whole morning and spent $115 my AC still need service to work properly
Ive been a happy customer of Tire Factory Point S since 2007 when it was still T&C. We bought my first set of wheels there and Ive never gone anywhere else. You cant go wrong with their service guarantee when you purchase a set of tires. They have great prices and good selection for whatever type of car you have. I live 300 miles away, and still plan my trips back home around service times for my cars. Zac is a great guy and easy to talk to when your car comes up with a lot of extra problems. One great perk is they provide free transport to / from your home or office so you dont need to worry about missing time anywhere.
Good experience have had ill my tire work done there
Great service, nice guys, clean facility, reasonable prices, honest. Only thing, each time I went they were off with the time quote. Even with appointment, they dont get done when promised. But still best shop around.
I was really nervous to come in because I know nothing about cars and have had bad experiences with other places, but the workers here were so kind! They listened well to me, fixed my issue, and did so quickly. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend them!
I popped a tire .1 miles from this tire shop and drove my car there because it was close.. I walked in 20 minutes before they closed looking for help. Because it was so close to closing time they suggested I leave the car overnight. I needed the car for work the next Morning so we ( my husband and I) decided to take the tire off there in the parking lot and put the spare on with the intention of leaving the tire to be repaired in the morning while I drove the car to work with the spare. As we began to take the tire off someone came out (the owner or one of the employees) and told us we couldn’t change the tire in the parking lot. We ended up driving to the gas station next door on the flat tire and changing it there. While the various employees I interacted with were friendly, it was still a very disappointing customer service experience. I ended up taking the tire somewhere else...
It is very difficult to find a good mechanic and shop to fix your problems. This Point S does a great job! Youre always going to have a few days wait (because everyone uses them and trusts them), but they communicate well, work fast, are well-educated, are friendly, and they do good work. I trust them with my vehicles and I feel that they have fair pricing.
I’ve been going to T&C Tire Factory for years now. Damon and his staff are courteous, friendly and more importantly they know what they are doing. They make sure my vehicles are in tip top shape and all at a fair price. Also, their tire warranty is one of the best if not the best. I highly recommend T&C Tire Factory to anyone!
A big fan. The owners have been at it for many years. I always get good, quality service. They do tires, wheels, shocks and brakes and even other related items. We have bought our tires from them for many years, even with different company names -- the names changes but the management team is solid.
I have searched long and hard for a tire shop that actually cares about you and not just their bottom line profit. This is that shop. I can only assume management has trained everyone to be super helpful and cost effective when helping you, regardless of the situation. Such a rare thing in business nowadays. I will send all my friends here.
I’ve been a customer here for years now. I even moved to another town but happily drive back for my regular oil changes. For me, it’s worth the trip to give my business to people I trust. They’re courteous, friendly, reliable, and trustworthy.
What can I say, they take care of you like you should be taken care of. Highly recommend.
Not worth the money or the time waiting.
Great place to get your tires, they have expert recommendations and quality service. Sometimes the front desk experience isn’t the best depending on who you get but for the most part everyone is good to work with you and help you out.
These guys are awesome. They are always reasonably priced and always deliver. They never to try to up sell you into things that you dont need. For Instance, I left my car with them and authorized them to do a 4 wheel alignment before I left, but because my car didnt need the 4 wheel, they performed the 2 wheel and charged me appropriately. They could have easily done it and made some extra money. The guys at T&C are customer service oriented and always give it to you straight, but never high pressure. I will continue to use them for all of my car needs.
I have been taking my cars here for years. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and I know that theyll take good care of me and my car. They never try to upsell me, which is really nice.
Service seems above the norm for getting your vehicle serviced. You really cannot complain about the prices of service because all (even the small local shops) are expensive as hell. If I had the time, I would do my own oil/filter change. But as you can tell, I dont have the time. So this is a good place to come. Ask for Damon. He is a good dude.
I can always find a coupon for oil changes and safety and emissions which is helpful. Also trustworthy, they take care of what needs to be done, and dont find extra things that need to be fixed (and really didnt need it). That has happened at other places. Great customer service.
I would not recommend this place. I received 2 tires from them that were 60,000 mile gurantee. Immediately, my car made a roaring noise and so I took it back and said that it was making terrible noise. They said everything looked good. So I drove the car. I tried to get them rotated every 3,000-6,000 miles. Occasionally it would be longer than that because it took them at least an hour to rotate even with an appointment. Now they tell me my tires are cupping after only 35,000 miles and they are only offering an $80 credit for a tire that has 60,000 mile warranty to use at their business. No thanks! Ill get my tires elsewhere.
I do all of my own auto maintenance. I came here because the last set of tires I purchased for my truck was at Point S in Washington State. I came in for a tire rotation and asked to have the alignment checked, the alignment was needed and the most reasonable in price that I have ever seen. While building our new home we are living in an apartment complex that doesnt allow residents to complete home auto maintenance. I will be heading to this shop for anything that I need during that time. Very friendly, honest, knowledgeable. I felt like they treated my truck like it was their own personal vehicle.
Always taking care of me and my cars. Straight forward and to the point . . .my kind of service
Great service. Very knowledgeable and go the extra mile to save me money while providing great service. I had one shop quote me $400 for a repair that these guys did for only $75. Sweet.
Very reasonable price and good work. I also thought it was very nice they had a shuttle to take me to my house and back again when I dropped off my car and had no ride. I plan on doing business with them again
Crooks, tried to charge me for a realignment. I asked did you do an alignment on my vehicle? Response welllllllllll no... Ill just charge you a hundred buck for a alignment inspection...Do yourself a favor and go to Ricks muffler in Orem. Best, honest, cheapest mechanics Ive ever gone to.
Having been a customer here for over ten years, these guys absolutely rock. Having a relationship with a great shop which knows your vehicles and gives you the straight skinny on tires and maintenance is invaluable. They always stick to the quote--both for cost and time.
Had an appointment for my winter tires to be put on. Two hours later still waiting for my car. They either overbooked or took walk ins ahead of appointments.Go somewhere else that honors their appointment times!!! Huge long wait for service!UPDATE: It has now been 2 and a half hours since my appointment time.
This is a great place to have your tire needs and basic service done. Have dealt with these guys for decades for my business vehicles, personal vehicles, and now my kids vehicles. Went in to have a flat tire fixed as well as a rotation before a family trip. They also included a quick look over of the vehicle and found a tail light bulb out that I knew about but had forgotten. They replaced it for me for a fair price and saved me the hassle. Damon and his crew do great work and stand behind what they do. I wouldnt think of doing business with anybody else!!
Damon and crew are among the best in the automotive service and repair industry. I am proud to have them as a BlueStar certified inspection station. In the process of vetting them, I found they are honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and have tons of repeat customers who love them. I highly recommend them to anyone! Awesome shop!
My car broke down and I needed it fixed quickly. Point S was able to get it right in and started working on it right away. They texted for me to call them at my convenience, and when I called they gave me a quote that was way more reasonable than I expected. They said they could get it done in a day, which was perfect.I told them to go ahead and sure enough, right on time, I got a text saying that I could come get it. The car runs smooth, and the quote was spot on, in spite of a few minor extras they had to work on.Just now I got a thank you message from them, so I needed to come here and tell you all how awesome the whole experience was. The staff was friendly and made me feel like a valuable customer. For sure I will be taking all my cars in to Point S in American Fork.
I have been going to T Point S since 2007 with my first set of Nokian tires on my high school truck. Now I trust them to take care of both my vehicles. I have moved all around the state, but I continue to return to TPS, and plan my maintenance around whenever Im in town and can get to them.
I typically do the maintenance on my vehicles however if Im too busy to do the work my self I will always take my cars to Tire Factory Point S. They typically have the best prices and by far the best service Ive seen locally. I feel that these guys are honest and try their best to deliver a quality service. Ive referred family and friends to this location.
Saved me over $500!I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience. After being told by the dealership I bought my car from that I needed a mount & alignment for my front wheels with a cost of over $500 I declined and called Tire Factory. After diagnosing it they found that because my suspension was Sport NOT Standard the alignment was perfect not needing anything done to it. They just charged me a $26 inspection fee! Integrity and honesty is hard to find BUT these guys have it!
Ive gone to these guys for years-- but today they went above and beyond. My daughter hit something yesterday and slashed her tire. We thought it was ruined, but not only did they fix it, they took care of the problem we had with the spare and the jack too-- fitting us in when they had a very busy day. They have been so honest and given us such great service-- thats why they take care of all three of our cars! Thank you!!
I have known the guys at T and C for many, many years and have always been treated fairly and they know their stuff. Very happy with the way they have taken care of my cars. Needed new tires on my jeep and also had a misfire with the motor and now am getting the steering gear replaced. They have been able to take care of it all. They are very knowledgable and everything has turned out great. Thanks guys!
This place if great if you need tires and alignment but Im not sure they know what they are doing with repairs. My truck had a check engine light on and after leaving it here for a day they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it and I had to go elsewhereEven though I had already paid the $90 diagnostic fee which is about double what other shops charge. It took the other shop about 30 minutes and $50 to figure out I had a bad fuel injector.
Very disappointed in Point S. I took a tandem axle trailer to have them grease the axles, check the brakes, and put new tires on. Less than a year later and I took the trailer to another place. When they took it apart they found a dry (no grease) axle and it appeared an axle was not done by Point S. It seemed Point S put on the tires but did not grease each axle/hub- yet they charged me for this. I called the manager and explained the situation and gave him the info to call the other shop. He said he would get back to me and make it right. Of course that did not happen. He never called me back. Never made it right. So if you try them, know they might not do the actual work yet they will charge you for it. At least that is what they did to me.EDIT-- I contacted Damon and he said he would reimburse the bearing pack. So I did increase my rating from 1 to 3 stars.
Great job! Informed me of possible big issues with my tires. Offered me many offers and great cost ranges for tires for my civic. Very pleased with customer service and knowledge of guys I worked with!
I have always felt like a special customer when I have come to T&C Tire Factory. They are great with my toddler. They always make time to get what I need done done as quickly as they can. They have even honored some deals that expired because of slacking on my part. I was recommended by a friend several years ago to go to T&C Tire Factory and now Im the one referring friends. Bonus, they usually have great coupons in the local Valpac, which helps! Head on over, you wont be disappointed :-).
Very helpful in getting me what I needed. To feel good and safe in my vehicle. And very time sufficient. A follow up text and freindly service.
Such great service! I arrived and was checked in and taken care of quickly, and my vehicle was completed in the amount of time they said it would be. Afterwards they explained all of the benefits of purchasing my new tires with them. Will definitely be returning!
This shop has always been our go to shop. However, I am afraid I will never use them again. I sent my daughter there to get her transmission fluid checked because her vehicles transmission was clanking and I thought it could just be the fluid. She had a guy check it and he said it was full. Thankfully her father decided to check it for her again. He had her start the vehicle and when he checked it the fluid was all but gone. He added fluid and it has been fine ever since. Apparently the mechanic didnt know that you had to have the vehicle running to check the transmission fluid. At the same time I had my van looked at for overheating. They found that the radiator was leaking and told me stop leak would ruin my engine and neglected to tell me of a simple fix I found out later. They told me I had to replace the radiator and suggested that I replace the thermostat and hoses at the same time. When I got the bill the charge was 100.00 more than quoted. The guy on the phone told me that the original quote didnt include the diagnostic fees and the oil change. Okay, granted but when you are told how much your bill is it should be all of the bill. He told me I should have asked for the total if I wanted to know. The extra star is because the van runs and I learned a lesson.
So I spent over $1000 to get my car fixed. It works perfectly. But they charged me to replace the bolt that the lug nut attaches to. It was less than $5 to fix and yet they didnt do it. I pulled off my tires and it was the exact same as it was before. If you want someone to say that they will fix your car and wont but will charge you, this is the place. I will not recommend them to anyone over this small incident because they are untrustworthy. It makes me curious on if they actually fixed the rest of my car or just said they did. 0 stars if possible. If they would like to make this right, by all means they can contact me. But I am looking for a new place to send my business. I work for a nation wide review company and so they should probably fix themselves before something happens.
Ive been coming to Tire Factory Point S for about 7 years now and have never had a bad experience. Im always treated fairly, the work is top-notch, communication is transparent, and prices are fair. For the services that are offered here, I wouldnt take my own vehicles anywhere else within Utah County.
Not the worst shop I have ever used, but still would never use them again.I went here because they advertised that they matched coupons from competitors, and to their credit they did match it (although they did manage to slip in a couple extra bucks). So I dropped my SUV off for an alignment and gave them my info and left. I called a few hours later (they said they sent me a text, but I did not get it, no biggie) and they said it was done. I showed up and they had a total for me (it was a few dollars more but I did question it since they had matched the coupon, turns out I got charged three and a half bucks extra for shop supplies which turned out to be a missing twenty cent cotter pin, but again no biggie, just annoying). The real irritation was they didnt tell me until after I paid that they did not complete the alignment. They told me there was a bad bolt in the track bar that prevented it being correctly aligned. In the conversation following there pleasant facade, right after payment turned rude and unhelpful. Pretty much they only solution they offered was to have it towed away (at my expense of course). Needless to say I bought a replacement bolt and installed it and had to have the alignment completed elsewhere. So besides the small irritations of slipping in small fees and not contacting me, the real problem with this place, is a serious lack of customer service. I paid for an alignment that was never completed because of a two dollar bolt, and their attitude when I asked for them to work with me on it .... Well lets just say on attitude alone I would avoid this place. Not the worst place, but lots better place, and since the work they did had to be redone by another place anyway, that coupon matching, just cost me more in the end. Learned my lesson will take my business elsewhere, I advise you to as well.
These guys are amazing.. They helped me to fix my tire really fast and charged me ZERO!! Honest people for sure.. 100%
Very reasonably priced, had to get a head gasket replaced on my subaru forester. They were upfront and honest about what Id need and what my payment options were, then they got me taken care of very quickly. I didnt feel taken advantage of at all, these guys are now my go-to for all things mechanical. Highly recommend.Update: I take it all back. Im pretty sure these guys see that I know nothing about cars and are fully taking advantage of the fact. Every time they fix something Im back within a couple days because they forgot something or didnt complete something. Last time I went in for my engine misfiring it turned out I needed new ignition coils, they quoted me upwards of $600 to replace them in my 2009 Subaru forester. After some research, I found it was not a difficult repair, so my husband did it in 20 minutes with a $120 OEM part. This is just one example of several similar experiences.I will not be back.
Ive been going to T & C for several years for both our vehicles. They do good work at fair prices, and theyre fast! Love the fact they store my snow tires in the spring, and my everyday tires in the winter!
I trust T&C Tire Factory with all of my automotive needs. From oil to tires, from brakes to exhausts, and nearly everything in between. Their service is second to none! They get the job done right and they get it done quick. I recommend them to all of my family and friends, they are the best.
Really impressed with the service level here. Fair prices, good service and communication. So relieving to have a place I can trust.
This place is amazing! All of the employees are so polite and they are always so quick to get me taken care of. I never have felt like they were trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge and upsell me on unneeded things. I will continue going to this place for all of my car needs
Replaced my flat tire, gave me an honest quote on 3 different levels of tires and offered me a shuttle to take back to work. They were fast and sent me a text when it was ready to pick up
Went in for an oil change and they let me know that I needed my air filter changed as well. By the time both of those things were done, I had been waiting for 2+ hours. They did give me a discount for the wait, and they gave me an additional discount because they used and charged me for synthetic oil when I asked for the blend, so Ill give them the bonus of trying to make things right. Thats the reason for the 3 stars. Ill be back and give them another chance at this point.
Dropped in for state inspection and emissions and was out withing 30 minutes. They were quite busy but had my vehicle finished in no time. I enjoy doing business with them and recommend them to anyone seeking servicing and new tires. Thanks
Always treated well here. Been going here for many years. Honest, friendly, good prices. They take good care of me.
Found a coupon on valpak and decided to try these guys out, I usually go to jiffy lube. Not anymore this place is honest and efficient! They even pick up the vehicle and drop it off for free if its close to the shop, they also offer a shuttle service, they took me and my 2yr daughter to McDonalds so we wouldnt have to wait at the shop
