The Discount Tire located in American Fork seems to be on top of things. The staff and management are quick and efficient without trying to sell you overpriced tires. The technicians dont appear to be loafing about in the bays. There are public restrooms available in addition to paraplegic parking and wheelchair sloped curbs. Car was in and out within 45 minutes. The sitting area has comfortable enough chairs with large windows for adequate view of the surroundings. I would recommend this business to others.

Great service from Jony. He was super friendly and quick. I brought in a price match email. He honored without hassle. So, I got a great deal. I know it sounds silly, but the chairs in the waiting area are super comfy. Tires are expensive in general. But Discount Tires in American Fork Utah makes it a nice experience.

There is really not enough room to pull an RV in to get the tire worked on. The service guy made a comment that they would have to drag a jack all the way out to the curb and he would have to get his Managers approval to do that. I was happy to go somewhere else and not be a problem for them but their Manger had them take care of it.Note to Management: A customer does not want to feel like they are putting you out to take care of them.

Listened to the sales person and bought the recommended tire that had a warranty for 50k mikes.Went in for a regular rotation at the 20k mark. I’m being told it’s time to replace my tires since it is time….. now they won’t replace the tires under the warranty that I was told would be available until 50k. They did offer to give me a discount on 2 tires not all 4 just 2…. And the discount was only $20 dollars a tire.. find a place that stands behind what they offer even if it’s a little more.

Have been going here for many years ever since they first opened this location.The customer service has always been great. They can get pretty busy on Saturday mornings, but even walk-ins are welcome.On this particular visit I scheduled an appointment via their website, which is the reccomended way to do it. My tires were replaced and balanced in 1 hour after drop-off, even on a busy Saturday.The online scheduled appointment and pre-pay is definitely the best way to ensure a quick visit.

Ive done business with discount for over 20 years plus, this location for many of those years. In the past they have treated me well but over the last 2 years they have become no better than big zero tires. The pressure to buy new tires when I know for fact I dont need them has become unbearable and annoying. They have obviously been coached to do this by management. They strut out with their little tire depth gauge and then tell you all the tires need to be changed, when the depth is clearly still good for another 10k miles or more. On top of this the road hazard warranty now is extra and not included. My buddy who has also given them lots of business for over 20 years was told not only he needed new tires but they refused to repair the slow leak he took the vehicle in for..saying they couldnt. He took it down the road to a place my son has recommended and they did it happily. They (discount)have just lost two 20 plus year customers with 8 cars between us as well as our extended family members. Poor customer service and dollars over service as well as quasi dishonest pushy practices is a disgrace. Ill put a pic of my rear tires tread which I was told needed to be replaced.

I had a slow leak that another tire place said the tire may just need replacing.I brought it to Discount Tire, as I should have in the first place, and they found a nail in the tire that the other that the other guys missed. I only went to the other guys, because my tire light came on and they were literally right there. Im sorry that I saw them, it meant nothing to me and itll never happen again. My family and I have been with discount tire for a long time, and they always had amazing customer service. I went over today to just get my tire pressure checked, and the guy that did it was very young, rude, and clueless. After he did my tire pressure, he knocked on my window and said idk for sure, but your right rear tire might be going flat. He did not tell me anything else, didnt give any explanation, and did not give any recommendations. He was very unprofessional. My husband did go back and let the people in the front know, and they were very apologetic about it, double checked all my tires, and they said they are pretty sure there is no leaks. They have just hired way to many younger people, that dont know anything with tires, and I dont think they get trained properly.

Great service. I went in for a tire rotation and was told there was a 1 hour wait to get my truck into the shop. I decided to stay to have it done and thought I would catch up on some work emails and training videos. I was in and out in 30 minutes! Always a great surprise when a company beats its estimate and gets your vehicle done faster than anticipated.

After I found a scratch on one of my wheels Cory contacted me to get it fixed. He was amazing super understanding he worked on my car personally. I can say enough about how he toke care of my complaints and didn’t belittle me. I would recommend taking you vehicle there after my experience.

Came in to get a couple new tires today and worked with Billy on it. He was able to make sense of just moving forward with 4 tires and explained the safety concerns clearly of just doing the two. He worked with my budget and now I can feel confident my wife and kids are as safe as possible. Grateful Discount Tires trains their employees to truly care about their customers safety and live up to their name by working within their customer’s budget!

I Bought some new tires and we had a shake afterwards I called and let them know and they had me bring it back. Cory and his guys stayed late to fix it and it was apparent that another company that changed the brakes had damaged the rim and where it slid onto the truck. I have done business with this particular Discount Tire for many years. Over the past two years they have changed dramatically their customer service is terrible. Theyve hired these young kids and not train them properly and customer service and to all they know how to do is check tread depth and tell you your tires need to be replaced. Last week I had a leak in one of my tires, the tire has plenty of tread on it, but they refused to fix the leak or repair and plug the hole stating that my tires were too worn out to do so. Of course they offered to sell me a new tire. I took my car to a shop down the street who confirmed that my tires have plenty of tread on them and they fixed my flat and got me on the my way.I will not be doing business with discount in the future.

I like these guys. They’re pretty quick and their service is good. I feel like they will recommend what you need but won’t push you into something you don’t need. They’ve got really good warranty and service follow ups, which I advise you look into.

Today I went into discount tire as one of my tires had a flat. I checked the tread and new that the tires were no longer good. I happened to have another set of tires and wheels which had 4-5/32 tread on them. I went in knowing that I was likely going to be upsold on tires but that they still had plenty of tread left to be used for the summer. Bill who claimed to be the manager came out and was measuring the tread of the tires. The gage was towards the end of the green barely in the yellow. This would indicate that the tires had at least 4/32 tread on them but he kept claiming that they had 2/32 tread on them which was not true. The ironic thing is that he couldnt even order me replacement tires and was trying to charge me a premium to tires in from a wholesale distributor at a higher price. He refused to put the tires on the vehicle when I had a flat and tires that were dangerous. He didnt care about my safety at all... Though he claimed to care and that is why he couldnt put my old tires on. The reality is that Bill was using predatory tactics to try to force me to buy a new set of tires.I explained to him that he was going to lose my business and that I was going to go someplace else. I went to Burt Brothers in Highland who inspected the tires and mounted them without question. They also didnt try to charge me $40 to dismount my old tires so that I could get my rims powder coated before buying new winter tires in the winter.As a result I will no longer do business with discount tire. Ive spent thousands of dollars over the years and its unfortunate that they have turned to such predatory practices. Dont trust Discount Tires. Go to Burt Brothers... They price match and have much better customer service. Discount Tire... Your customer service lost you a valuable customer today.Update: Bridger the other manager called me today to apologize... He told me he talked to Bill. He also told me that Bill shouldnt of tried to charge me a premium to get tires in faster. Offered me $100 instant rebate if I would come back. While appreciate the gesture I still feel that my safety or business was not appreciated yesterday. My advice to anyone visiting this location is to go out with the rep and watch them use the gage on your tires. Have them physically show you the number on the gage and if they try to check on like 8 places on the tire question them. They will try to get you to replace tires prior to when they actually need to be replaced.

This has been my go to store for years Lance is the GM and has taken care of me and his staff Davis, Billy and Jinni (I think I spelled her name wrong, sorry) always taken care of me and are awesome. Davis and Billy need their own stores. They are great at taking care of the wheels and tires in my wife’s new truck. The store is super busy and if you have a flat that’s a low priority on their list which makes sense because it’s a free service and they need to take care of paying customers.

Discount Tire crew was a HUGE help. I pulled in at 6:05 as they were cleaning up. I hit a nail and had a fast leaking tire. They got me in even though they were closed, and taken care of. Keltin and Jonathan were a HUGE help, very professional, courteous, patient and helpful. Definitely going to discount tire for anything that I need in the future. “Would highly recommend” haha

I went in last week because of a flat. I told them that I bought the tires there which I did and they kept saying there is no record of anything being done to my truck since 2014 I bought the tires in 2017 and have been back many times. The manager continued to tell me that their system doesn’t lose service records. This went on for about 2 hours while waiting for my tire to be fixed. We then found out that the tire was not repairable and it needed to be replaced. Only 2 stores in the nation had the tire size I needed. So it was a 6 day wait time. Then come to find out after calling multiple stores they found the tire purchase so now I’m here getting my tire replaced and the tech comes and insults me by telling me that another tech broke my center cap for my aftermarket wheels he said it looks like it was previously glued which it was not. So now they are telling me that they will glue it back together. Long story short I told them no it needs to be replaced and here we are. 100% don’t recommend discount tire. Go to Burt brothers you’ll be happier as their work is not rushed and won’t break your belongings and if they do they’ll replace it

I went into this discount tire to simply have an air check. My tire pressure light was on but I figured it was just because of the change in temperature outside. Low and behold the technician found a “nail” in my tire. They were able to get me right in to fix the tire (for free since I had purchased tires there). There were a few cars ahead of mine but they got my tire fixed quickly. The impressive part was that I was walking out of the door at the exact minute that they told me I would be (which was critical for getting to my next appointment)!! The nail turned out to actually be a ginormous screw! I was grateful that the whole situation was resolved quickly and for free!

So fast and friendly. This was my first time going to discount. The website was super easy to pick the tires I wanted and have them sent to the closest location. With less pressure to choose the right tire I was able to do my research and read reviews to find the best tire at the right price. Discount was by far the best priced. Made it painless big thank you.

Note that this review is for this on instance only. Normally this place is pretty OK to work with. Ill make a long story short...MY tires lasted LESS THAN HALF of the 45,000 miles they were warranted for. This comes as no surprise as it has happened to me at least the past 3 times Ive got tires from Discount Tire. The only difference was that I tried a different brand this time. This mew set lasted a little over 18,000 miles and had a warranty of 45,000 miles. Pretty weak. In the past I was given all credit due for the remainder of the warranty, so it wasnt a big deal. This time however, They gave me a measly credit of about $20 per tire. On a $160 tire, I expected compensation equal to the wear of the tire...just like in the past. Since the tires only lasted about 40% of what they were supposed to, I expected a 60% credit, which should have been around $95 per tire. Instead I only got about 10% credit. They tried to explain it away with some BS, but couldnt. Unfortunately, I needed the new tires then and there, so I didn’t have much choice, but to buy them at nearly full price…which maybe they realized that I didn’t have a choice and that’s why they screwed me over on the warranty. Very unhappy about this last experience. The service guy I worked with was GREAT and was limited in what he could do, but I expected more from Discount Tire.

I’ve been to many Discount Tire Stores in several states over the 20+ years I’ve purchased my tires from them. Out of all of them this, the American Fork location has easily been my favorite. Every Discount Tire store has same products however, at this location they’ve always serviced my tire needs correctly, the first time! At other locations I’ve sometimes had long waits, even with an appointment, I’ve also had to return a second time because they forgot something simple such as replacing my valve stem caps or forgetting to air-up my tires to as I had requested. I believe that great service starts with management and Corey, the American Fork store manager, is on top of his game! The entire staff is friendly, fast and efficiently go about their jobs correctly every time I’ve been there.

Ive been to this location a couple of times and am always impressed. Great customer service, quick, informative, honest, all of the things you want from people working on your car. They showed me the cheapest tires I could get and the most expensive, and all of the differences between the 2 so I could make an informed decision. They also let me know that my factory tires were a weird size that could easily be replaced with a more common and affordable tire. Ive changed my tires several times over the years and no other tire place bothered to give me this information. They would just make me special order the tires. This is my new tire place.

Went and had some snow tires put onto my 2020 WRX yesterday. Technician didn’t know how to dismount/mount tires onto rims. All four rim on my vehicle now have spots of white lined rings that go all the complete circumference of the wheel. Thus caused because the surface finish was removed during the tire change process. In some areas, damage is significantly worse. Metallic material is missing and deep gouging resulted.I went to Discount Tire because I knew of them as a high quality tire service center. I have heard they have great customer service. I have had great experiences with them beforehand on several other occasion. However yesterday that was not the case.The technician knowingly sent the damage on all four rims out the door in hopes I wouldn’t notice it. It’s is 100% blatantly obviously and noticeable. To the point a blind man could point out the damage.Where is Discount Tires honest, integrity, and quality control practices?None of these honorable business practices were performed. It was complete negligence.Notified and showed the manager of the damage. No apology. No reinsurance that they would get the problem fixed. No solution to the problem was addressed. He kept making excuses.I was just told he would file a claim.Horrible customer service!!!!!!!I am giving Discount Tires a chance to correct this situation. Hopefully they can provide a solution to the problem and get this issue resolvedI will update my feedback after their response.

Discount tire is a great store. The American Fork location treated me so well! I came in for a 930 AM appointment for rotation and tire pressure light. Come to find out the tires had already been rotated, no tricking these professionals. Then the manager personally came to my car and fixed the tire pressure light no charge! What a great person! I will continue to go to discount tire. I normally go to pleasant grove I didn’t think they had a closer location. Thanks so much guys! I will always be a return customer.

Discount tires has always treated me great. I buy all my tires here and usually get my vehicles serviced at this location. I have one major gripe about discount tires though and it has to do with their reservation system. I consistently use their reservation system and the results are hit or miss, but usually miss. I set an appt for rotating and balancing tires which shouldn’t take no more than 20-30 minutes, but then I show up at the scheduled time and there are either a bunch of people without appts in line ahead of me or all their bays are stuck doing something like tire replacements for no appt customers. I totally understand that all customers need to be treated with respect, but the very idea of a reservation system is to reduce the amount of time I have to wait. It is very frustrating when sometimes I can show up and be driving away a half hour later, and then other times I show up at my scheduled time only to wait a half hour in line and then being forced to wait another hour for my car to be completed.You guys do great work, but the reservation system needs to be fine tuned. Perhaps a separate line for those that make reservations, but those with reservations will be prioritized over those who just show up.*edit* someone understood the nature of my complaint and I’m sure others had similar complaints. But at this store they introduced a QR code where you can get into a virtual line. At other stores it is advertised that there is a desk meant solely for online reservations. We had a blow out on Friday evening, and the tow truck arrived 15 minutes after closing. The Discount Tire team went above and beyond in letting our car in and staying a little later to finish the work for us so we had our car back for the weekend. These guys are fantastic. I am pretty upset about my recent visit to this store.I purchased four new tires and four wheels. After I paid for the installation, I came outside and there were no hub caps with the new wheels I just purchased (see attached picture, looks terrible).I went back in and brought out an employee. He mumbled something about how people usually plastic dip the exposed part and then went into the garage to look into it. Apparently the manufacturer left out the hub caps from this package for whatever reason. He went inside and ordered them and said I could come back Tuesday to have them installed at no charge.Im upset because I shouldnt have had to notice that myself. Someone should have let me know hub caps were missing before I paid. If I hadnt said anything and trusted these employees, I would be driving around looking like an idiot.I made an appointment online before my visit and purposely selected tires and wheels that were in stock so I wouldnt have to come back. I work full time and take night classes until 10 PM every night. It is a massive inconvenience for me to come in to have these hub caps installed because now I need to make arrangements at work.

I come to this location anytime I have an issue with my tires or need new ones. Always great customer service! They are fairly busy so if you are going to come here make sure to get an appointment or you will be waiting a few hours. Any time I make an appointment I am in and out within an hour. Without one I would say 2-3 hours. They are great and busy therefore that is why I recommend getting an appointment. Thanks guys for fixing my wifes tire with a nail in it for free. We didnt even get her tires here and they did it without a second though. Love these guys.

I went to Discount Tire for the first time today. I had a flat that needed repaired. Because I have a broken wrist, I asked if they would re-mount my wheel and put away the spare for me as well. When the job was done, I was told there would be NO CHARGE! James just asked that next time I need new tires that I come back. I definitely will. Thank you to James and the team!

TL:DR products are fine so long as they don’t have to provide quality customer service.Poor customer service experience with getting the right tires. Used the online tool to select tires for my car, once installed they just didn’t fit right. Per their policy I asked to switch out for a wider set and that took almost a month to figure out since I had been told they had been ordered, but when it was time for delivery the system somehow “lost” the order. The staff treated me like it was my fault and then made me pay the mounting and balancing fee again even though their policy states they “will do what it takes to make it right.”Even when the employees found a discount code to use to offset having to pay the fee twice, the store manager explicitly left a note not to do it for me. Super disappointing to be treated that way.

Despite being pretty busy, I felt like I was taken care of here. Lots of places to eat nearby if youre hungry 👍

I forgot that I have been going here for my tire needs for the last 6 years so I went to Big O Tires on accident and immediately knew it was the wrong choice lol. Not nearly as welcoming or accommodating. So obviously I went to Discount Tire and had a great time. They treat me well always!

Some customers didnt have masks. Employees all has masks. The distance of 6 fts between costumers, employees, and seats was being generally kept. Not very crowded at 4:30 on Wednesday.

Ive owned my truck for less than a year and Ive had three flats so far on the brand new tires (talk about bad luck). These guys have been super great to take care of me quickly. Money is extremely tight for me right now and I explained this and said I would be back when I got paid. Showed up to replace some winter tires on the back with some all season. I clearly stated I needed the new tires on the back due to the way the Audi displacement is setup and I get some bull about saftey. I know my car and their safety philosophy actually doesn’t match the needs of my car. For example, the two remaining winter tires which they say need to now be on the back have better stopping power in the front in the current temperatures but somehow they are more safe on the back? They still have significant tread as well. So now I’m forced to go home and swap the tires to the front myself. Very disappointing. After being a customer for over 20 years I’m done with Discount Tire.

I had a flat tire today, so I came in to get them fixed. Craig was very helpful and kind. His customer service is beyond outstanding. Discount Tire American Fork has my business. I will be forever loyal to this company.

I had just moved to the area and woke up to a flat tire due to construction in the apartment complex. After I called them I had AAA bring my car in. They immediately got it inside and took out and patched the screw. And it didn’t cost me a dime!!! Wonderful staff and SUPER helpful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back for all my tire/car needs. Thank you!

In my experience, all Discount Tire locations have great customer service. We were on vacation and had a screw pierce our tire so we stopped in this location. They were very busy and it was about 30 minutes before closing but they stayed late and got it fixed for us!

Called and spoke with Nerrek and purchased 4 new tires. Made an appointment and brought it in the next day. Abram greeted me and got me setup. I left the car for an hour and then dropped by to pick it up. On the way home something felt off. The car was pulling to the right.When I got home I took a walk around the car to see what it could be. Disappointed. I was going to call them back but decided to call a friend whose family owns a tire company to see if it was just me. Drove it over and had him review the work. He was shocked.The AF Discount Tire customer service is good but the quality of work needs a major tune-up.I ended up taking the car to the Draper Discount Tire store. Bill and his team are great! They redid everything that AF shouldve done and now the car runs like a dream.

I dont post a lot of online reviews. My ongoing experiences at Discount Tire in American Fork have motivated me to write this. Every interaction Ive had there has been positive. Theyre patient with my questions and requests, theyre positive, they look me in the eye and smile, they have great prices, and they always do excellent work. I showed up today and asked them to swap a wheel from my old spare to another tire I brought in. No problem, no charge, and they mounted the new spare to my vehicle without blinking. Probably not a big deal to them, but their little pieces of outstanding service add up. While I waited, I watched their employees treat other customers the same way: respectful, patient, and helpful. Keep up the good work. Im done going anywhere else for tires.

Great place had me out fast

Wow! I was impressed with how fast and friendly they were, how clean the facility was, that they dealt with me honestly, didnt try to endlessly upsell me, and did not treat me like was dumb because Im a woman. I will come gladly come back for more services ☺️

Horrible customer service! I was in the lobby for over 20 minutes trying to get some help and not one of the guys that are supposed to help customers said anything to me at all. They just sat behind their tables playing on their computers. When I asked one of them if I could get some help he put his hand up and said he was busy. I would rather pay a little more for a tire from a competitor like big o or less schwab and get good customer service instead of being completely ignored like I was at discount tire.
