It’s a nice big store and the workers are polite. I like the curbside pickup for when I know what I need ahead of time and want to make a quick pickup. There seems to be trouble with inventory at times- empty spots on shelves when I’m looking for that specific item- but maybe I’m just unlucky ;) Usually the app is pretty accurate with what is and isn’t in stock in store so that helps.Sometimes the checkout line gets really long and there seems to be not enough cashiers available to handle the rush, so when I’m in a hurry I can’t always count on it being a quick purchase.

Great craft store. Not my favorite but they do always have good sales happening. Good selection of seasonal decor and home decor. The store has been very clean and organized the last few times I have been in. In my opinion, no one is ever around to help when you need it. You have to go searching for an employee. Not one person ever explained the app or coupons until recently. It was a gentleman employee at the checkout stand and he was fantastic! So kind, so helpful, quick to show me how to get the best use of my coupons. An all around a happy pleasant guy! Made my day actually! As weird as that may sound. I really wish I caught his name. I didnt keep the receipt either.

Awesome Halloween decorations, honestly I decorate my house with Halloween decorations all year omg every year, thats how unique and just perfect Michaels knick knacks are :) I just cant get enough, thank you michaels

I went to Michaels right after doing plasma and started to feel faint in the store. I reached the registers and very nearly blacked out. The girls at the registers were very helpful, offering me a chair and checking on me every now and then as I drank a sprite and waited 30ish minutes (I was fine while sitting, but faint if I stood) to feel well enough to walk out. (Dont worry, I got a ride home.)

Came here in search of the best supplies in town to paint some rocks. Found em! Fire supplies. Shout out to Mary (I think? Was working at around 6 on thursday the 17th) she was the sweetest.

Crafty place! Very attuned to holidays. Luckily the one checkout person duplicated, right after we got to wait in line all that time. At least the people behind us got the benefit.

Michaels is where I buy all my arts and crafts needs. Its clean, the employees are friendly and always willing to help.

I love going to Michael’s for craft items. They also carry my favorite paper planner: The Happy Planner! They always have coupons that you can use on your purchases, items are typically reasonably priced on top of that! Even my kids know they can get awesome craft items here. I especially like the American Fork location. It’s not as busy compared to the one in Orem.

I find many craft supplies here that I cant find from other stores. Prices are reasonable and they offer coupons each week. Also have a lot to offer online.

The staff is hard to find. The prices are competitive maybe a little better.

Make sure you check out the discounts! I have purchased almost everything for my wedding here, and its been more than half the cost because I bought things on sale.

Brought in a 20% off coupon to buy fabric (the coupon said 20% off any regular priced items) and when I went to check out the girl behind the counter said the coupon wouldn’t apply to the fabric. When I asked why, she got on her radio, asked presumably her manager why, and she said back “the fabric is already such a good deal the coupon doesn’t apply.” When I asked if the fabric was on sale, she said “no, it’s already such a good deal it isn’t on sale.”Weird to advertise a coupon as applying to any regular priced items but not let it apply to fabric.

There cross stitch selection gets smaller every year. Not this particular stores fault but it is the only reason I go to any of them 😩

While I like what Michaels stocks, I dont go as often since they got rid of their 40% off of one item coupons. Joanns and Hobby Lobby are close by and offer the coupon.... Michaels doesnt so I just dont go as often.

I got a couple face paint and brushes for a photo shoot I had and they did the job. Price was fair, cashier was very pleasant and so were the sales associates.

Always great to shop the sales. Weekly coupons are great. If you are a crafter they have pretty much all you need.

They have different prices in the shelf then they charge you a higher price at checkout. I didnt notice till I got home I called to explain what happened and very rudely said that I need it to go back to the store.

Had everything we needed. I love all the sales and we got a tall, thin christmas tree and all the decorations for under a hundred bucks.

My favorite craft store. Their selection is always on point and their pricing is great, especially with the always-available coupons.

Customer service was good. Had a long line and the manager jumped on the register and it went really quickly after. Would shop again.

I love Michaels! I never buy anything full price because they always have coupons. You can get them on their app, in the newspaper, on your previous receipt, in the mail and online. If its something that never allows you to use a coupon (like their Lego sets) buy it somewhere else because Michaels does price everything higher than other stores. But their coupons always make the items under market value. This particular store usually has a great selection. The staff are helpful and friendly.

We found everything we were looking for except one item. We thought we found it, rang it up, opened the package without hurting the product, and then realized it wasn’t what we needed and it was poor quality.I asked if we could return it, even though we had opened the packaging.Allison, working on Friday March 27th 2020 at 6:35pm, did not allow us to return the item, which we realized was not what we were looking for.We have done this at Michael’s before.Allison argued with us and told us that it was not a Michael’s policy to be able to return defective products.She was rude and made the situation extremely awkward.As a result, we will not be returning to Michael’s in American Fork.

Found the perfect insert pillow with the right amount of fill for decorative, personalized pillow. Some other places had pillows that werent quite as poofy.

I love the wide variety of craft items available for a lot of hobbies people have. Their prices are decent and they always have a coupon you can use on an item. They also have a lot of sales when they are changing their inventory each season.

This is a clean and organized Michaels. Im always able to find the crafting supplies I need. The staff is very friendly even during the high stress times. The staff also knows the location of all the items I asks about or are willing to help me find what I am looking for.

Okay service . . . A little miss communication occurred about the online order pickup process, and where we could be checked out for that at. We were sent to the back of the store (framing dept.) only to be told the framing dept. was closed, and that wed need to journey back up to the front of the store for checkout. . Once we reached the front of the store (again) there was quite the line (again), in which we had to wait in a second time to attempt to buy the same item we attempted to purchase the first time. . . Second time was successful, just wish they could make orders a little less confusing for the customer

Great service! Employees are helpful and quick. The store is always well organized and clean. I have been doing the order online and pick up in store and it is very efficient.

Helpful staff. They are great at framing. I always send my art through them. They usually have sales going on. Their selection of supplies is serviceable. For the more esoteric stuff, you need to shop online.

GREAT Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale here. Store was buzzing but not crazy. There were some amazing deals. I bought far more than I expected to, including a beautiful Christmas wreath and some very cute Christmas themed jewelry. Love their themed items.

I don’t normally come to this craft store and my recent visit confirmed why. My mil wanted to go check out all the clearance Christmas stuff as she likes to get Christmas items for the following year. This place opens at 9 l. We get there it’s 9:45 and the person working was obviously not happy about us showing up. So we are just looking around. Nearly all the Christmas clearance is broken which I understand but don’t try and sell it. Then we looked for some materials we needed for an upcoming project I was thinking about. And they had what I wanted but it was way more expensive then the craft stores I usually shop at who also allow me to use coupons. We found a few things that we needed that the other store doesn’t carry and went to pay. The worker again the same one. Was not happy about us wanting to buy anything. Didn’t say anything to us or even smile it’s was just an unhappy why are you here face that I felt bad. I could see her eyes rolling when we asked to cash out. My mil who never says a bad thing about anyone even commented that the worker looked happy to be there NOT.I have to say that with the unhappy, rude service and over priced items I will not be rushing back here EVER.

I have mixed feelings about Michaels, but the last two experiences I had at this store solidified my opinion as negative (but not hatred). See, I have never understood why someone designs a craft store with tiny aisles. It is a craft store! People are going to stop and look at materials. This isnt a grab-n-go type of situation, so it is just poorly organized in a too-small space for the purpose it serves. Then there is the staff. This location is terribly understaffed and it is hard to find someone to help you. They are nice, Ill say that, but there arent enough and it seems like they arent around to help you. Then, because there isnt enough staff, the waits are long, even for pick-up orders! It is frustrating.Recently, I went to get something framed. The man who works the framing counter is lovely, professional, and does great work. When I went to go pick it up, however, the person that finished the frame cracked in when they put in the screws and they were going to give it to me like nothing was wrong! Excuse me, that is just plain bad service. Luckily, the woman who was helping me when I picked it up saw the damage and it got reordered. This is all dandy and all, but I took it the weekend I did to give time to get it in time for a birthday gift and because of their mistake, the frame has to be reordered and it wont be ready on time. That is just unacceptable in my opinion. You would think that someone who is finishing a frame would know how not to crack it, or at least call and say that the frame will be delayed because of it. I was not pleased, so after I get this order, I will not be returning to get anything framed here. It is not a reflection on the main framing employee (I think his name is Victor?) because he is wonderful and professional, but the process after the fact. That, combined with the fact that custom framing is expensive, it should have been done well the first time, in time.

Vincent in the Framing department is very friendly and knows his work. He framed a print for me and did a wonderful job. I just brought him an original piece to frame. I highly recommend this location for all of your arts and craft needs.

I love the variety of items available. I have used their framing services. I felt listened to and the finished was perfect. The cost was a little high but if i had to do it again i would without a second thought.

Michaels has great sales (just have to watch for them!) and an astounding variety of crafting merchandise. I like this location BC its near a lot of other fun stores like Ross, Home Goods, and even a Dollar Tree. Friendly employees too.

Its a craft store... Whats not to love. This location always seems to be short staffed however. They have the now hiring signs and I hope they get acquire more staff. Other than that, I love Michaels!
