Always a pretty good experience in this store. Try to stay away between 11:45 and 1:00 pm and 4:15 to 5:30 on weekdays. The lines can get lengthy if you are in a rush. Try the deli registers if you get caught in this timeframe. Otherwise relax and enjoy the store. Great selections from end to end however their flagship store Market Street is above and beyond . Give yourself some time to enjoy what market street has to offer. Especially in the deli and hot foods. Their sushi is better quality as well. Great service.

Super clean and well organized. Something between an Albertsons and Market Street. Lots of ready made food to choose from. I almost died looking at the calorie count on the sandwiches though.

Its every clean organized. The people are very friendly.. Thing on sale help my pocketbook. Its close to where I live. And most important parts The mangers keep up the good work. United Supermarket on River Road I just wanted the best grocery stores Ive ever been in my entire life you talk about customer service for customer service laugh almost everywhere else they provide five star customer service more businesses should be like United Supermarkets

My visit today was horrible !!! The checker was sacking my groceries too and literally throwing them in the bag. He was just picking the bags up not even trying to make sure he got the top, so my onions rolled all over the floor not once but twice. Then a manager was carrying out groceries for another lady with just bags which this young lady could have carried herself. But anyway was just going to walk right passed me loading my own groceries in my car. So I yelled and asked her if she would mind taking my basket back in when Im through. So she slowed walked over to get the basket after I loaded my own groceries. United is really going down hill.

I was impressed with the dinners that you pop in the oven or the microwave they were priced Right and I tried the salmon and also the chicken dinners and I was very impressed. The only thing I do not like is the prices its pretty much out of my budget to shop here for ordinary things and at this particular store I couldnt find some of the produce that I wanted I dont know if its the area or if its just that they dont sell enough to be stocked up on those types of things I would enjoy shopping here if the prices were not so high.

I love shopping in a supermarket that has not become a department store. The staff there is always helpful and I can get meat cut the way I like it.

Higher prices but better service. I have only had one issue with one person employed there who thought I wanted to hear her political and religious views. Other than that, its a better shopping experience than Wal-Mart.

Allways a pleasure store was busy but able to navigate the aisle. My hats off to Bakery and Deli excellent sellection i got potatoe salad and a strawberry Boston cream cake there so good two days later im lookin for more.

Went there for lunch. Great burger.Definitely go again.

I love this store. The employees are all very helpful and seem happy in their positions. I am however extremely disappointed that the management is not enforcing a mask mandate law that currently is in effect. Please protect your employees and your customers by asking patrons that are openly and defiantly breaking the law to leave. I don’t understand why this is being allowed because it puts people in danger that have no choice but to come into your store. If people don’t want to wear a mask they can stay home.

Big store, has a huge delivery center, a restaurant inside you can order to go or sit down and eat. Has a flower shop, lots of wine selections, and almost any groceries you might want.

Used to love going to this particular United but was very disappointed this time. Ready2eat stuff looked like it had been just thrown together.

Well stocked and pleasant, helpful employees. Covid-19 regulations definitely NOT enforced. Easily 40% of shoppers without masks and doing zero social distancing. A good portion of employees with masks just over their chins. The restroom was dirty. We were inside for maybe 30 minutes, having parked on the far end of the parking lot, and our truck got dented. The shopping cart that had rammed into it was still up against our door.

Seems to me, like every time my wife or I try to cash a check there (Gem Lake location), they make up some lame excuse NOT to cash it......A little frustrating... But Im almost certain it has something to do with a few of the lazy management that I still know work there ( abel and tiffany )... Hope they read this, too ! And theres a couple of other weird individuals there who go out of their way to make sure that we are not able to cash our checks, for some unknown reason. But its only at the Gem Lake location. Ive ALWAYS been able to cash checks at other United Supermarkets. Just not this one. Weird ! .... Other than that, I think its a good place to shop. Its a clean store and its close to the house .

A nice place to go but they are getting a little pricey. I am getting extremely tired of them doing away with products that I buy all the time. Its happening alot. And what they replace those products with are brands I do not care for. I think the customers should have a say in what should go and what should stay. A poll or something before they get rid of that product.

One of Uniteds better stores. Both service and selection have suffered a little since they were bought by the same company that has Safeway and Albertsons. Still, the stores tend to being clean and somewhat well stocked.

They have great lunch specials everyday.

I liked the cake here. The customer service is nice too. They drop you off the car.

Great place for groceries and produce. Its always very clean. My only issue is the moral of the employees. Im not sure if they are overworked since everything happened, but the service is noticeably different since last year.

Absolutely the best option in Amarillo for grocery shopping. The staff is very friendly and polite. The assistance who escort you to your vehicle and aid in loading are a major benefit.The store is always clean and well organized. Assume selection of produce.The pricing is very competitive, personally I love the assortment of four meats under $20. The quantity of which is perfect for my household of three adults.The stores point system is something I have yet to understand, but that is most likely my own fault not the stores.Overall I would highly recommend United over competition.

I buy my groceries here every week, and I wouldnt shop anywhere else. The employees are friendly and helpful, and they always remember our family and greet us when we shop. The selection is a bit more limited than Market Street, but the store atmosphere is overall less hectic, and they do offer some items that Market Street notably lacks, e.g. fresh tortillas from Amigos. This store is great!

Deli is ok, most of the time they burn your meal. The salad bar, chicken, ribs, burritos and tamales made really taste great. But I would skip the deli, because it seems the cooks dont really care how your food taste.

I like shopping there but a lady at the service desk is rude and not friendly.

I like United United always been a family store I grew up in Lubbock and all we went there today to buy groceries and I forgot to get them mask and they offered me one at the door very friendly the stores are always very clean and I dont know is it just a good guy good feeling knowing you have good Hometown value people working for a great great organization I love shopping there

Ordered 2 dinner plates, Bethannie cashier spilled all the juice from the roast beef plate on the other plate, ended up with soggy corn bread and roll on both meals that were bagged into 4 bags because of all the juice getting on everything, very disappointed 😞

Two Thursdays ago I had set up an interview with Nessa, she looked at her schedule and said the whole week was filled up and she could fit me in next Tuesday, now most people just say Tuesday when talking about the upcoming Tuesday but she said next, so I assumed today, 5/16. I was discouraged and didn’t think after a week and a half they’d even a position. SO. I get there at 10:55AM today and she says I should’ve been there last Tuesday, and that she already rejected me. I explained I misunderstood because she said next Tuesday (my boyfriend even heard her as she was on speaker) and she insisted she didn’t say next tuesday, said she had another interview and just.. walked away. No I’m sorry have a good day, no apologies or a reschedule. She just said she had another interview and walked away from the conversation and it really left me feeling bad and really embarrassed?? I also thought it was very inappropriate especially because I’m young and there are a lot of young adults/teenagers working here. Just because of this experience with Nessa the HR lady, I probably will not even attempt to work at United again.

I love the fresh hot delli there, lots of great fresh food options l, almost like home cooking.They also have a great supermarket and pharmacy. Great place to knock out your shopping needs.Also they have a great dinning area to eat in, if you dont want the fresh food to go! All around a great place to shop.

Absolutely one of the rudest experience with a job Ive ever had. Personal hiring lady told my girlfriend to be at at the interview at 11am on next tuesday. She said it on a Thursday so she took it to be a week and a half from then.shes goes in forh interview and she was overwhelmingly rude and wouldnt let her finish speaking and walked away before I was done talking. I dont know who treats a teenager with such a disrespectful attitude like that. She came out to the car crying because of the lady. If you need a job DONT GO HERE!!!

You would expect these grocery stores check expiration dates on food I guess not, now I have a stomach ache and a tickle in the back of my throat from eating old food thats been sitting out for a month. Please check dates. Bag says best by March 5 2018 today is April 8 2018.
