The team at Lone Star made me feel like a friend/neighbor from the moment I walked in. Eric was awesome to work with and helped me find a Can Am Defender with the enclosed cab. We also picked up a go-cart for our niece and nephew and came in the next day for helmets for the kids. The whole team made them feel so welcomed and turned a normal accessory purchase into a grand experience for them! However, I think my wife is having more fun on the go-cart than the littles! lol
This dealership literally makes you feel like family. Every person that works there is so friendly & willing to help! The first time i contacted them, my hubby was having an issue with his new RT. We bought it at a different dealership that wouldn’t even return a phone call. I happen to find Lonestar Powersports after searching for a different dealership closer to have the RT worked on. I sent them an email late one night & got a return phone call before noon the next day. Saul was very helpful and we ended up getting it there and was repaired in a week plus an oil change! Then i started having an issue with my F3L due to some aftermarket goodies i added. They worked so hard to get it fixed for me and kept me in the loop as to the progress. Frank was wonderful and did a great job and Randy was a sweetheart too. I am tagging this MY dealership now. If i had only known it was there...we would have bought both our spyders there!!! Left or can am to get looked at. So far service was good and nice place and nice people. Have to leave it for a little bit due to our timing of delivering to the shop and the distance we live from the shop.

I can not say enough good about this business. I am a widow, was riding alone on a cross country trip heading back to Michigan when my Can Am spider started having trouble shifting. I know nothing about engines or cycles other that I love to ride.I went in there, they got me right in, put it on the diagnostic machine, found out it was a shift switch. Couldnt find the part anywhere. Was going to have to order it from the factory and it wouldnt be there for 4 days. The mechanic said he could try and fix the old part if I wanted him to. I said go for it. He did, got it working and had me back on the road by the end of the day. Went in on Sat. morning, they did an oil change and was soon back on the road. Their hospitality was wonderful while I waited They were very professional and yet made me feel that they really cared about me and my machine. When it came to the bill, I have no complaints either. Very fair and reasonable for what they did. Definitely a 5 star place.
We had the can am towed to Lone Star Powersports in Amarillo. Even though the shop closed at 5:00, the service manager, Frank Danielsen, was there to meet the tow truck at 6:40. He worked on the spyder and was able to repair it and get us on the road again. By 9:00 the bike was back at our hotel. Amazing service!
Terrible experience with this place. They placed an ad for a motorcycle with a price that also allowed you to make an offer which I did. It was a very credible offer that was 10% lower than the asking price. The next day Eric from Lone Star Powersports called me and we had a pleasant conversation. He asked me if he were able to get the offer approved would I be willing to place a deposit. I indicated that I was not from Amarillo but would definitely be willing to give a deposit and could pick the bike up in two weeks. Once we hung up, I never heard from him again. I tried to call but could never get him on the phone because according to the lady answering the phone, they were so busy he couldnt come to the phone. Frustrated, I again made the offer in writing through the publication and this time no one from Lone Star Powersports even bothered calling or contacting me in any way this time. I then reached out to the company through the chat line on their website and exchanged information with someone named Olivia. She was a polite texter and assured me that no deals were in the works on that unit and someone would be contacting me to discuss the bike. She confirmed my information including full name, email, and phone number. Again, both she and Eric were both polite but I could never get anyone to follow up with me. How does anyone run a business based on sales this way? As a small business owner I understand things get busy but the complete lack of service at Lone Star Powersports goes beyond anything I have ever experienced. I have purchased many new and used motorcycles over the last 35 years of riding and have never been completely ignored.
They dont try and sell you things you dont need. I took two jet skis in. They had one of them lake ready in no time. The other one they were honest told me it wasnt worth it. And didnt charge me for working on it. Then printed out everything that it was going to take to get it running. Very honest people. They have my business 💯
Cannot say enough about the people here at this store. From finance, parts, mechanics, manager and sales; each one was a pleasure to work with. Salesman - Justin was extremely personable and easy to deal with. He carries such pride in his job. He was the very reason I dealt with them. Seems to be the time to buy and they handle each and every customer personably and in a timely manner.
If I could give Zero stars I would. If you ever buy a used jet ski from them please make sure and do your best and try and test it out first. I bought a ski that was guaranteed lake ready took it to lake and It was trashed. Our mistake was still trying to ride it even tho it wasn’t running properly. After almost a month in the shop and close to a thousand dollars worth of repairs I got the ski back. I would never do business with them again. Very unhappy.

They pulled through for us in a pinch and saved what could have been a ruined vacation from Ft Worth TX to Colorado! We lost our key on the road and these guys had our part and squeezed us in for programming as soon as we pulled onto their lot! On top of it all, they were kind enough to help us out and charge us only for parts!!Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

These people were great. They helped me find the perfect side by side and helped me pick out the best accessories. I put down some money as a deposit and a few days later some personal matters came up, that caused us to no longer be in the market for a new machine. They were of course disappointed as were we. After talking to them, they gave me a full refund of my deposit. While I didnt get to buy the machine I wanted their customer service was amazing. If things change and I am back in the market, I will definitely go back to Lone Star Powersport and will refer all my friends to them as well. Thank you Lone Star for being so understanding!
I came to Lone Star Powersports on 4/14/2020 with a bent rim on my 2015 CanAm Spyder. From the moment I walked in the door I felt more than welcome and all the staff were beyond helpful. Saul was extremely thorough when searching for my new rim. Sam was as friendly as they come and made my brief waiting time extremely pleasant. And to top it off Randy presented me with a guardian angel token for my safe travels back to Chicago. If you live in the Amarillo area or have a mishap on the way through, youd be best served to take your business here!

This dealership is top notch. In the middle of my road trip from San Diego, CA to Tulsa, OK... I had an issue with the brakes on my 2017 CanAm Spyder. Ken greeted me at the door, heard what I had to say and got me in and out within an hour and a half! Randy even went out of his way to welcome me and presented me with a Guardian Angel coin to keep me safe in my travels. That was such an amazing gesture. I really appreciate everything you all did to get me back on the road. I will definitely share my experience with all the ladies of Women in the Wind and anyone else wholl listen. Thanks again! Everything at the point of sale went just fine.Customer service was fine.My issue is with the actual motorcycleIt’s been around 6 months maybe a little under and the bike has given us nothing but issues. I have missed work days as well as other appointments just because the bike won’t start.Battery has been replaced with a new one and still will die with only one day of no use.bike has been back with them 2-3 times and been “fixed”If I wanted to have all this issues with my only way of transportation I would have gotten my motorcycle from Craigslist.Wouldn’t buy another vehicle or recommend
This is the way customers are supposed to be treated.I drove all the way from eastern Oklahoma to buy my brand new X3. They gave me a smokin deal and the service guy went over the machine with me showing me all the features and procedures to operate and maintain the unit.Thanks for taking the time outta of your busy schedule to talk and actually meet me.I feel I actually have a friend in my new can-am dealer.

An older lady approached us and asked what we needed, she left to go find out and came back 5 mins later, as she was walking up to us an older couple walked in, she greeted them and immediately started helping them and left us standing there, she never returned to help!
