First off, when I made my initial review, no comment was made. Then a very rude comment was posted by the owner. I didn’t call on Memorial Day weekend. I purchased a dirt bike for my kid. After 2 days of riding it, about 3 hours total, the bolt on the swing arm broke. Several calls were made to request what needed to be done and if they could supply another bolt. We kept getting the same response that they would check into it. We still have received no answer. Everything of which has been documented. Don’t shop here. You will be completely disappointed. The owner, as you can tell by the multiple comments that are provided on the reviews, is very unprofessional and rude with no regard to client satisfaction or appreciation. Again, DON’T SHOP HERE!
Horrible experience, bought a gokart for our child’s birthday, it worked 4 times. We where told it needed work. Dropped it off in May for repairs and after calling 2-3 times a month for 4 months while they had it, we picked it up and there was never a repair done. They didn’t even know which fourwheeler was ours. Do not waste your time buying anything here. Read other reviews. Horrible quality dirt bikes,four wheelers and go karts and even worse service. And now we are stuck with a 1400$ gokart that doesn’t work.

Awesome experience and the owner is extremely nice. We bought a go kart and we love it. Also I bought a dirtbike and he had it assembled with the color I wanted that same day. Great service and the best prices around! Not to mention the warranty folks its solid!
Bought my Son a 4 wheeler last year. After a few months we started having starting issues that turned into no start at all. We dropped off the unit 10 weeks ago with Budget Bikes and no repairs were made. What made it even worse was the unit sat outside for 10 weeks causing every bolt to corrode and rust. I picked my unit up and had to argue to “sales” guy for a refund, he said typically they don’t give refunds. Stay far away from this establishment.
We took a go-kart in September 15, 2020 to have a tire repaired. After a month I call the business by phone and the owner was rude saying he didnt know what go-kart I was talking about So I decided to stop by the place the next day and the owner for the second time was rude and told me that they were waiting for a part and to wait for another week. We gave him more than a week waiting for them to contact us and it never happened. Today, 3/25/21, after 6 months. my husband stopped by to check out the go-kart and incredibly in six months they did absolutely nothing to it. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY ARE RUDE AND THEY DONT DO THERE JOB.

They honor their warranty! I purchased a 4 wheeler for my sons birthday but however the wiring malfunctioned the day he got it. I took it back and instead of having to wait for repairs he gave us a brand new 4 wheeler. I have also purchased a dirt bike here and had no problems. I will be doing business with them in the future.
This a hard review to right because, we love the bike that santa bought our son.We will never do business with them again because of the way the owner . Christmas is stressful time of year, and being truthful with folks would help. Answering the phone when people call and understanding you lying to people when you have thier money doesnt help.We were told if we paid upfront our order would take a 4 to 5 days. It took 3weeks and we got the bike the day before Christmas.Oh and offering an oil change after all this mess, was just funny.
Does not answer the phone. I was given a date and time to show up for service. Once I arrived. No one was here and it is 3hrs before they close. I Called and FINALLY got in contact with someone. He told me he would be here, and I waited for 45mins. Still no show. I called again, and they kept sending me to voicemail. Service is horrible.
Not sure? I still have a minibike there that I left for repairs and have called to check on it several times? Still nothing, no call back either. I think Im going to go and pick it up.Update on the mini bike. Yesterday I called to see if he was going to be there so I could pickup the bike. Per his response to my review. The day before I found no one there so the call. I show up to pick it up and its taken all apart. But a big but at the end of the day he had it fixed. Overall I was shocked that he would have it apart when I got there. But with a little patience it paid off. The kids rode till dark it runs like new.
No help with tires bought our bike new from here really nice bike had weld foot pegs on but overall nice bike.Maybe cus covid we had to call track someone down to get someone parked at their shop thought could help put tire back on beed but nope. Back to my Bike shop Mudease they do it all
He is very racist. You buy power sport gadgets that you think its worth it and you get them home and it only work for maybe 1hr. You bring it back and he tells you we will get to it later. His business ethic is nasty. I will not recommend no one to buy from him. The service man is more a good person then the own.

I started out with high hopes but should have followed my gut and passed on the little 4 wheeler for my son. I had a very hard time getting budget bikes on the phone or to answer an email. Untill the day I was buying one from somewhere had to email and let them know I am buying today and would like to keep my money as local as I can, and boom replied please buy from me so I did. Got the bike home and when I started it up for my son ran for about an hour and wouldnt run /idle or anything after that point. Have emailed many times and left messages with no response as to when I should bring it buy for warentee or anything for that matter. Im a very understanding person we all have busy schedules and i like to have a shop tell me when its convenient for them for me to bring my stuff by but Very disappointed with the customer service as well as the look on my sons face when I have to tell him his brand new 4 wheeler is broken. What a waste of 1000.00 in already tough times.
Purchased a challenger 50cc scooter from these guys back in June 2020. Still waiting for title and license plates to come in. Called three times owner finally answered and told me to text him my info. Did that. Been three weeks and still waiting for a response. Paper plates expired and can’t drive scooter.
Actually this company gets -10 stars..My husband and I drove 45 mins aways with our kids to bring my sons gocart in to be fixed..We arrived at 2pm and Gate was locked with a sign will be back at 11-11:30am..We literally waited 2 hrs.My husband called and texted him.. he said he was on the way 30 mins passed still no show..We left to go to the store 30 seconds away and he texted my husband saying he didnt see him at the building so he kept going..What kind of business is he running.. he couldnt return work and wait on us to drive 30seconds back..We waited another 30 mins still no show.. so we said Bump this we have a 7 and 3 yr old n the truck..We will not be returning.. Go at your own risk..
My Wife and I purchased a go kart from Mr. Steve. Our children love it. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the flags you get for the back of the go karts dont come in different colors. I had to listen to my daughter scream about why she couldnt have a pink one all the way home. Great product and good people.
The owner is lazy and will give you the runaround I would never buy from him again. In addition, one out of two of my purchases from here got me stuck twice due to a bad carburetor and hes done nothing to help.Buyer beware this place is a big joke. GREAT customer service, I bought a new Apollo 36 250 Enduro to be shipped and was able to get support over text messaging on a Sunday when assembling it, even though they were closed. This was a HUGE help since I work all 6 other days! Love the bike too.
Steve was awesome to work with. We feel we got a really great deal- best around town. And most importantly, we feel we got the perfect size and type dirt bike for our beginner son. Bike is awesome. I would totally recommend Budget Bikes and will definitely be back for our next purchase.
I purchased an ATV for my daughter last year. It always ran well until one day we could not get it to start. I talked to the owner and he was really patient with me. After helping me trouble shoot it by phone it turned out it was only out of gas. They sell quality products and helped me when I was having a problem.

Having a blast with the kiddos and wife on my 800 ATV.... Steve worked til midnight to repair minor issues with the machine being used but on top of that, opened shop on memorial weekend just to make sure we had for memorial day to play with and has been in contact for all my questions needing answers of use. Family appreciates you and look forward to more sales. Large family so will need more....
I have had positive experience and have recommended this place. I brought a bike in for repair it was in bad shape been sitting for over a year. They made all repairs at a fare price. I have also purchased a new bike from budget bikes about a year ago. This year i will be purchasing a 4 wheeler.
We went here looking for 2 four wheelers, for my 8 and 12 yr old, and we got exceptional service from the owner. He went above and beyond to ensure that we got the right ATVs for my boys. He also went out of his way to personally deliver them both to us in pearland! I definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the market for 1 or more ATVs. He also worked out a great deal with us, for our trade in four wheeler that we couldnt pass up on! Ask for Steve.

I bought a motorcycle for my brother here and now seven months later still no title . Yes I had inspection done on it and you emailed temp. Tag so now it sits in garage because that tag went out . So where’s the new one or a title would really be nice .

I know so many people went here to get a bike and all had the same experience we bought 2 4 wheeler’s from here like a month ago and only had them home for a day or two the bikes look nice but the parts & quality is cheap they broke down and the got has had them for repairs almost 3 weeks now they never answer the phone and he don’t try to communicate with you it don’t take that long for repairs period and when he does answer he’s rude when you ask about you stuff I wouldn’t ever recommend this place to anyone
Our kids love the go carts. We bought the mini-GK-28 and and the big GK-28 and we have a BLAST on the beach! You have to do basic maintenance on these things and you have to tighten up bolts now and then (we used lock tight to stop that) but thats true with any powers ports equipment. We think this is a good buy.

This place is a rip off. You wasting your time and money dropped off your bike. November 9 and December 24 nothing is fix on it. The owner is rude and will give you a run around. Dont waste your time. The good reviews probably come from his family and friends. All I see and have experienced is rudeness. I paid a 50.00 deposit for no work. He lies over phone and once there says he never said it. Please dont waste or allow them to steal your money like I did. For 50 dollars at least the tire should have been fixed.
This place is no good because I took a black yamaha atv that needed a the time chain fixed and instead of fixing it he made it worse and on top of that he took off the carb and said that he didnt take it,and I had to go buy a new atv.also my cousin got an atv from here and it was 800 dollars and it was trash.so I would not recommend this place for anyone.
Great folks and fair prices! They are honest and direct with the details of your service being performed. You dont have to worry about being lied to or taken advantage of at this shop. They are the only place that I use now for a new atv and parts.

They are happy to take your money but they couldnt care less if you need parts or service. Dont believe me call their service line and youll be forced to leave a message... call their SALES line and someone will pick up! Parts for these things are impossible to find so good luck when it breaks, and believe me they will because they are cheap.
If I could give this place a negative star, I would. The owner is extremely rude, as far as to tell me he doesnt have time to sit on the phone and answer questions and hang up in my face on several occasions. He has done nothing but lie and give me the run around from day one. He will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money with no intentions of keeping his word. I wish I had read the reviews prier to buying from him, every single one of them is accurate and relates to what I am now dealing with. It doesnt look like my children will get their bikes before Christmas, you cant believe a word Steve says. Beware of this business.
Worst ever. UTV was stolen first night. He never paid one penny. Promised to pay insurance deductible but did not. After police recovered it tore all to pieces, he said he would repair it and did not do anything. After a year, picked it up and took it elsewhere. BEWARE!!
I’m in the market for a new scooter or dirt bike for my son, so I decided to stop by this place and check out what they had to offer. The guy there was very nice, but the place was terrible - the ceiling was falling in in multiple spots, it was dirty, they didn’t have anything to show (a bunch of used beat up salvage looking stuff, nothing new or anything like what they were showing on their website). Overall, a big waste of time and a long drive for nothing. Don’t waste your time.

These guys were almost $200 cheaper than their nearest competitor for the SAME Shark ATV. It is 125cc with forward and reverse and small enough for my kids to ride but big enough for us to ride too. it has plenty of power. They also offer a 90 day warranty, the other guy said bumper to bumper warranty but when you read it there was no labor included. I would definitely buy here again and probably will at Christmas time.And then last Christmas we bought there again! And the one we wanted was in stock but not assembled, they had it ready the next day. The dirt bike is excellent quality for the money and has given us NO trouble at all in 8 months!
I was shopping around for a go kart and kid ATV. This place definitely haS the best prices and warranty in town. I did read alot of negative reviews regarding the business and owner, but I still gave it a try and my experience was the opposite. The owner was respectful, honest, and didnt try to sell me his most expensive inventory. He explained the different options based on my budget and kept his word on price and deliver. Bought my son a go cart at the very last minute on Christmas Eve. I Live in Spring, Tx. I got off work about 3pm that day, every go kart store I searched on google was closed except this one. But any means I promised my son a go kart I had to get him one. So I called budget and the guy told me that they were closing in about an hr but if I left a deposit he would have it assembled before I got there. We closed the deal over the phone, I gave him my information then I drove an hr to get to the place. Surely like he had promise my go cart was there and ready to go. So I took it home back to spring and me being the dad I am, I had to take it for a spin. Lol a super spin. I was petal to the metal for about 30 mins strong. I got home, it’s about 10pm I finally read the owners manul which clearly stated that I shouldn’t just gas it like that it had to be broke in. “Not those exact words but something similar.” Long story short I blew a gasket and Christmas morning it wouldn’t start. I Contacted Steve he said bring it in. I brought it in not telling him that a grown man had broke a kids go cart I just wanted it fixed. His exact words were “We Honor Our warranty, but he had a few more karts to take care of before he got to mine. He called me a few days later told me my kart was ready and finally my son finally got to ride out.. moral to the story, a 180lb man shouldn’t floor a brand new kids go kart, last but not least Budget Bikes did everything in their power to make sure I was taken care of even after I inconvenienced him so much. Don’t really write reviews, But just want to say thanks Steve, as well as budget bikes. You got my business forever.
Took my quad there for a starter repair and got it back 2 weeks after the due date and stopped working again after 2 days
THIS PLACE IS FOR CUSTOMER REVIEWS.... NOT FOR THE BUSINESS TO MAKE EXCUSES AND BELITTLE THEIR CUSTOMERS!!Make no mistake. He is not fixing stuff. You are dropping your stuff off at a dead end. We were warned, as well. I dont know why he puts these unsatisfied customers on blast, either, naming their actual names. That doesnt seem to be his choice to do that. I feel since thats online, its a federal crime. Someone needs to look into that.These reviews are made by obviously nice people, and hes trying to make them seem crazy. He even told the #1 Review that other bikes were in there WAY BEFORE HIS. You see? There it is. The truth is other bikes should only be in there 1-3 weeks before his, but he means MONTHS. This tells you everything. He expects you to happily wait WAY passed the promised time and just not call/text. Your stuff is sitting there. He sells. There hasnt been a mechanic. Thats why he answers the sales line. My son refused to let me take his ATV there and I found out firsthand.He is belittling, as well. These reviews are true... except any that say they got their repair back, immediately. Those are the questionable ones. And you have to question someone who has so many complaints due to lack of time to repair, yet they have all this time and actually prioritize responding to GOOGLE Reviews... Lack of priority, professionalism, and respect for customers actual feelings. OPEN your eyes if you go there and question ALL THE BIKES/ATVS all around the building and in the backyard. Those are a lot of unhappy customers.PS Reading these review responses by Steve is so disgusting because he is attempting to humiliate the customers. I cannot believe he names one and gives their address! What a small person!He rudely tells them to call the Service Department when there hasnt even been one!! So... nobody is going to answer. He shouldve been able to fix WHATEVER someone else did... not hold their bike indefinitely and then belittle them online. He mustve lied to him saying hell fix it, or why else would it be there? If you are being promised service with your purchase, make sure you are paying $0 for it because thats what its worth AND if something does happen, you will be frustrated to the point of these people and maybe beyond. The owner is a lying conartist I purchased a bike and he hung up on me when I was trying to get my purchased bike. He is very rude and unproffessional. He needs to be shut down. He put peoples personal information out because he did not like there true reviews. This site and business needs to be looked into fraud is illegal. Although I did not purchase from this dealer I wanted people to know..Looking to buy 2 new 110 atvs for grandchildren and glad I have read reviews. I think I will purchase else where and glad the reviews were here to save me a trip. This has to be the worst business I have ever dealt with. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. I bought a atv from Steve Keene the Owner I believe back in April and have yet to receive the title to the atv. This guy will run you in circle over and over. Listen to all the other negative reviews, they are not fake or from his competitors like he claims, they are real unsatisfied customers like myself trying to help other people out so they do not go through the same hell we all went through. There are many other places around town that sell the same bikes and atv as him. This guy is a liar and a thief in my opinion. The comment below about him trying to make his unsatisfied customer seem like they are crazy or in the wrong is spot on. I just wish I would have read the reviews before buying anythiny from this place.
Part 1By the time you get to this post you will have read all you need to know from other posts, that I should have read before going to this place; this guy lives on another planet; the planet denial. Call the place; that should give you all the indication you need to run away. Prior to dropping off my little go-cart (it was given to me and I’ve never seen it run) I put gas in the tank and it ran right out through the air filter so I purchased and installed a new carburetor. When it still would not start (I only pulled on it about six times) I did a short search on line and found Budget Bikes. I called and made arrangements to drop it off on a Saturday. The little shop (I’m talking little here) was pretty busy (three potential customers) so I waited about 30 minutes to be waited on (the owner is there alone). So after I explained that I had no clue as to what the problem might be I just could not get it to run after having installed a new carburetor, I was told that the service department was not open on Saturdays but I could expect a call by mid-week to let me know what the problem is, time frame, and cost. I was more than happy with that and off I went. After not hearing anything by Thursday I called in to check on progress. Actually getting in touch with anyone is a neat trick, but after calling about six times I did get to a person, the owner I think. He was rather abrupt and said “when you dropped it off we (ya gota love that, we) told you that it would be two weeks before we could have it finished, and we will call you when it is finished”. Rather than argue I left it at that and figured I’d wait for the call. The next Friday which would make it the end of the two weeks I called again (some scenario to reach someone) only to be told that they had not yet looked at it (some story about not being able to work outside in the rain, but oh yours is small so we should be able to bring it in) but he could get someone to pull it in after lunch and for me to call back at the end of the day. Again I offered no additional comment and figured I’d wait until Monday to call back. There is much more to this story but this is apparently character limited. The end of the story is that he had the cart for five weeks and never touched it.The moral of this story: If you have the capabilities of repairing something yourself, don’t be lazy and take it somewhere. If you don’t have the capabilities, do some research before you take it somewhere. As it turns out I spent all of 15 minutes this evening after returning home to clean the spark plug and make some adjustments to the carb and it runs like a top. And I wasted five weeks to get it done.Being the big fan of fiction I am, I just can’t wait to see the owners retort.Oh yea it is fiction.I never said I wanted it any earlier than just what he offered. I never bullied anyone. Planet denil.

Whole new line of Apollo ATVs!
I went to pick up my ATV I bought for a Christmas present. It was missing the front plastic bumper part. I took it anyway as he promised that he would mail one by Feb. I emailed and texted every month after that (no reply). Finally he replied and said not to text him on his personal cell phone, (funny he told me to when I was buying the ATV). Said to text him a picture and he would get it to me. I did and no reply. Now it is May still no bumper. I am trying to contact the BBB. Stay away he is not a reputable or honest person.
Budget Bikes ( in my opinion ) is by far the worst place to take your bike . I dropped my sons 4 wheeler off in January to get looked at because it wasnt running at all . I spoke to the mechanic that was there at the time and told him my problems . At that point he told me That they had a lot of back orders to take care of and that it would be 2 weeks before he could take a look at it . I told the mechanic that would be fine, and for him to call me before any work was done to the bike . ( fast forward one month ) I called budget bikes to find out what was wrong with my bike and why I hadent heard from anyone ( the owner ) answered the phone and seemed clueless . He told me he couldnt find me in the system and didnt know anything about my bike .he then told me he would find out and get back to me ( fast forward 2 months ) at this point I had called a few times and had gotten nothing but excuses, so my wife and I decided to say the hell with it and just go get the bike . We arrived around 4:45 pm on a Saturday to grab our bike and( the owner ) was there, we told him how unhappy we were with his business and wanted our bike, he told us we couldnt take our bike that day because pickups are on Saturdays, and by appointment only . He also told us that they had just started working on the bike and that the bill was $105 dollars . Of course I was livid, because no one called me to tell me before any work was done to it . Reluctantly I told the man Id be back the following week to pick my bike up and for him not to do anything else to it ... as I was leaving the shop ( the owner ) came out to my truck to express how sorry he was for the whole ordeal and that he wanted to make it right . He told me that the bike wasnt running at 100% and that he wanted to put a new battery on and that the battery would be free . I told him fine and for him to call me when the bike was ready . ( fast forward 1 month ) its now May and he calls my wife to tell her the bike is ready and the bill is now $165 !!! At which point she losses it, and confronts him on what we had discussed. Of course he denied ever saying that and now wants payment in full and then hags up on her . ( today June 7th 2016 ) the owner calls my phone to tell me my bike is ready the bill is $165 in which my response to him was how did it go from $105 to $165 ? He told me he replaced the battery and put a new carburetor and that he only charged me half price for the carb (which was $50) .. I told him I didnt authorize any work to be done to the carb and that the battery was supposed to be free . He then crawfished on the whole deal told me I was a liar . At this point Im spitting nails, I told the owner to take all his parts off my bike and that Id be by to pick my bike up, he told me no and that it would cost me $165 to get my bike back . We argued and he hung up on me . Three minutes later he calls me back to tell me that theres a $15 a day charge for storage and that he plans to tack that onto my bill and if I dont pay him hes gonna sell my bike ..you can imagine how mad I am at this point . My wife is currently on her way to pick up our bike and pay the shady business man his $165 . PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY YOULL WISH YOUD NEVER MET HIM !!!!!
I have purchased an ATV and a dirt bike Motorcycle from these guys and also had them service my Honda Shadow. You cannot beat their prices on new units, especially the ones for the kids. The big names wanted $2000 for the small ATV, but Budget Bikes sold it to me threee years ago for $750 and it still runs like new today. The main thing is you have to keep using them, dont let them sit for months or the carb will gum up and that is true with ALL bikes, it is not the fault of the bike, it is this new ethanol gas that is the problem. If they will sit for a long time you should turn off the gas and let it run out of gas, and then drain the gas our of the tank. Again this is true with ALL bikes. On service side you have to give these guys some time because they always have a lot of work but they will do your work at a very low cost and they will do a quality job. I highly recommend them, but just dont erxpect it back tomorrow, and they will tell you that when you drop it off. I see people complaining about the time for service on here but if you want to get a good job for a good price it is definitely worth the wait.
I wish I would have read these reviews before I bought.I knew I was taking a risk by buying these Chinese vehicles. You simply dont get anything of any quality with prices this cheap. They arent cheap because Steve is a good guy they are cheap because they are worthless. I bought a 125cc go kart that worked for about four rides and had been dead since.All that BS that these guys give you about being a Chinese Honda and that parts/service are available at any Honda dealer is bogus. Go first to your local Honda dealer and ask them if they can get parts... Wiring harness, stator, coil, cdi.... Anything electrical and they will look at you like youve lost your mind.Steve didnt honor warranty, was not just rude but down right hateful on the phone and in person. The other lady that says he hangs up on you is telling you the truth. He wants to sell his crap then sell to the next sucker not take care of the customers that hes already collected from.The only positive reviews cone from his friends and family and vendors that he buys oil from.I have had my gokart at the Honda cycle shop to fix the problem and after they reluctantly agreed to try they told me they just didnt feel good about trying and charging me so time to fix something they couldnt figure out. I took it to my local Kawasaki shop too and they simply said there are lots of problems with theses things, we wont work on them. Ive finally taken it to a friend who does some shade tree work and after two weeks with him hes not much farther along but at least Im not racking up a ton of bills.So please! Before you decide to buy ANY Chinese motorcycle, gokart, ATV,etc think long and hard but if you are willing to accept the risk then Steve at budget bikes would be the last person I would ever do any business with!STEER CLEAR!!!!

Bought an ATV, a month later it wouldnt work. Took it in, they had it for over a month and DID NOT FIX IT. When I picked it up I had to push into the bed of the truck because it wouldnt work. I wouldnt even give them one star.

Very bad service took my cart for brake service cart was stollen and recovered by police wrecked owner didnt help or compicate me for anything.
