***Not trustworthy***They play a lot. I called them about a car, and the lady told me the price. I already talked with her about the price over the phone and decided to meet. I went there by driving 4.30 hr. drive in heavy rain, and when I reached there without showing cars, she started a price discussion with me. I said I would get the car the deal price + tax we talked about over the phone. Then she went to her manager and brought it back. She started and said, you know what, we have a package attached to all cars, Which will cost $3000. I said I dont need it; take it out. But she said its mandatory. Then I said, why didnt you let me know when I was asking over the phone. She said we dont talk about this package over the phone. That means its clear that they are not transparent, and they like to play peoples time and feelings. . They want to get attracted by customers with their fake offers and cheat people and play with their time. Even the lady didnt care that I drove 4.30 hrs. in the rain and had an accident to get this offer. Honestly, this dealership is not trustworthy. I found this dealership through cargurus.com and then I checked this dealership website thoroughly before contacting. I should see the reviews before approaching them. As we can see they are not transparent at all not in any sense. If anyone of my friends reading this review then I sincerely advise them dont approach them and dont waste your time.***Not trustworthy***

I had more than one dealership while shopping for a car. I went with the other dealership because they gave me a better offer. The sales man Johnny told me to go with the other dealership because their offer was so good they couldn’t match it BUT that they were probably lying to me. There was no way it was true. He said I was going to show up to the other Nissan dealership and they weren’t going to have that car. That I was going to show up to nothing. I was a nervous wreck since I couldn’t pick up the car until a few days later. Of course he was lying. I showed up to the other Nissan dealership and had the best process.I am a young woman and Johnny talked to me like I didn’t know what I wanted or what I was doing. He got in my head and I was scared for no reason.The other Nissan dealership was amazing. They never made me feel insecure. They never talked to me like I didn’t know what I was doing. They gave me the “offer” Johnny said they were lying about.Johnny keeps calling so we can finish the “paperwork”. This b doesn’t know I’ve been driving around my new vehicle for a week now.Reading other reviews I’ve noticed Johnny has issues with women which is why I decided to do this review. I was a nervous wreck for 3 days before I was able to physically get my new car and FOR NO REASON. If you are a women, find someone else. Johnny isn’t it.

Horrible Horrible experience. The dealer we got stuck with was very Unprofessional and vulgar. He kept trying to put us in a vehicle we were uninterested in. When we finally found one that we could possibly be interested in he was trying to get extra money out of us for things we didnt want on the vehicle. When we told him thats fine that we were gonna keep looking he got upset and told us to get the hell out of there even followed us to the parking lot and continued to rant and rave. We did go to 3 other dealerships and had great experiences there so I would say go anywhere else but here.

Stay far away from this dealership. Salesman Chase and sales manager Steve are doing some sketchy stuff. Went in to look at a truck & was told if I was going to finance through my credit union they would have to raise the price. Not sure why. Other than them trying to make more $$. The entire time chase was trying to belittle me and make me feel like I didn’t know what I was doing. And he was a so called “closer”. Steve is rude and unprofessional. He told me “if you’re not financing through us then we’re gonna have to pass on this deal” AFTER being told my credit union was within their “financing”. Weird place. I’ve bought multiple cars and have never experienced this kind of customer service.

Esteban was good. The rest of the experience was lackluster at best. Feel like I was just pushed through the process. Had they not had the only Pro-4x around I would have gone elsewhere. I Was not given any options in finance or given an option to have a discussion. “We only work with one lender at this dealership but once you get out of here you can do whatever you want with your loan.” This Was the advice from the loan officer doing my paperwork. Which was already printed before I entered the room allowing no alterations or discussions at all. I then had multiple conversations throughout the process how I wanted to carry my plates over from my trade to the new car, which I’ve done multiple times before. Got called today and advised my new plates were in. Arrived and a whole new set of plates... Not able to listen to the customer on any level. Not about plate transfers, not about who I’d like to use for finance, not additional accessories I wanted with the vehicle. Basically nothing I said mattered except I want that truck. The rest was just spitting into the wind. I have since purchased all desired accessories from another, actual helpful, Nissan dealership and now have the vehicle I wanted with the options I was looking for. Nissans product is great, THIS dealerships handling of customers ..... not so much.EDIT: Lee- the owner called and had a lengthy conversation about the above situation. I feel much better about the hands that are on the dealership and truly feel it is just a matter of employees not the dealership or it’s ownership.While what occurred is still not acceptable I feel like Lee is definitely invested in making the appropriate changes to try and ensure this does not happen to others.So Reliance Nissan and it’s ownership under Lee. 5 stars.The employees mentioned above. Still one star.Combined average of 3 stars.Lose the get them out and turn and burn mentality of a few employees and a 5 star experience could be had at this dealership.

I am not sure how good the sales part of this dealership is, but the service is atrocious. Had two minor warranty items to address. Service department tells me parts are in. I schedule an appointment for approx. 10 days later. Drop off the car for what should be less than two hours of work. They keep it overnight. No phone call. I called the next day multiple times. No return call from the service department. No ETA on when repair would be finished. Apparently only half the parts came in so I’ll have to return regardless to address the other issue.

I truly wish I could put 0 stars. Had a terrible experience with the sales associate Chase Codewell. Very pushy and rude, and perfectly happy to lie in order to make a sell. After the interaction with him I called to speak with his sales manager, Steve Domer. Once again, another poor interaction, not only did he admit to condoning the behavior from his sales associate but also made excuses on his behalf. Do not trust this place or even give them the time of day. Save yourself the headache and haggle!

I drove two hours to this place and made it very clear that I was trying to get something with 0 down payment. As the messages show, I was told the financial manager said I was good to go and to come in. Then after I get the copy of the buyers receipt Im told I have to pay 4500 now. When asked why I was told to come in when I made it clear I wouldnt be making a down payment, the manager, who I believe is named Steven, starting screaming at me and getting in my face. So the customer service is terrible so I would avoid this place at all costs.

Very disappointed with the subversive and slimy sales tactics of Reliance Nissan.My son is a first time car buyer and he and I negotiated a deal over the phone with Tim, the salesman, on a Titan truck. We live over 70 miles from this dealership. We settled on the price and my son had Tim send an email stating what was negotiated so we did not waste time. The email from Tim stated the negotiated price and said “plus TTL and dealer fees.”When we arrived to purchase the truck, the price went up $3000 for a package, a dealer “add on”, that was never mentioned. This add on was not listed on the sticker or on the truck itself. This add on was never mentioned on the phone, on the numerous texts, or on the email from Tim.Reliance had plenty of opportunities to disclose that “add on package”, yet they did not. They could have shared this openly and been forthright with the add on, thinking ultimately about the customer. They could have disclosed this as part of the price, but chose not to.So three hours of driving for a slimy, distasteful, and ultimately wasted experience for a first time car buyer will put Reliance in my “never to return”. Buyer, beware!

Our son had gotten in an accident the day after Christmas. He was rear ended by a distracted driver, and his beloved car was totaled. We had been looking for THE perfect replacement car for him for two months. Looking online was a LONG process to find the right one. We finally found a car at Reliance that we wanted to buy for him! Crystale and Pablo, were very easy to work with. We had to drive over 4.5 hours from Louisiana to get there. When we got there, everything was ready for us. The actual paperwork process was short and sweet, and the whole team was very friendly, and easy to work with. Pablo gave us great advice on where to eat in the area, and suggested a shorter route to go home since we were driving back home that night. . MUCH appreciated. It was a long way to travel, but our son is thrilled with his new to him car from Reliance! Thank yall so much for everything! I am one happy mom. :)

Extremely disappointed and appalled by their customer service. I honestly feel like my mom was taken advantage of.Where do I even begin, my mom went in looking for a car loaded with all of the safety features: blind spot, park assist, lane departure and backup camera.She looked at several different cars until the salesman, Johnny O. told her that he had just the car for her and it was fully loaded with everything she was looking for. They went and looked at it and quickly took it for a test drive around the lot.My mom continued to ask if it had all the safety features she was looking for and Johnny assured her it was exactly what she was looking for. They did all the paperwork and she drove home. The next day she was driving around town and noticed that she didn’t see any kind of detection for blind spots. She immediately called Johnny to tell him the blind spot detectors were not working. He suggested she bring it in so they can see what’s going on.She brings the car back in, Johnny greets her and hand them off to the Sales Manager, Stephen D. and he proceed to tell her that the car she just bought does not have any of the safety features she was looking for. If she wanted those features it would cost her more money. He then continued to be inconsiderate of the situation. My mom stated that she was really wanting the blind spot detection and lane departure notifications and his response was “that’s what your mirrors are for”.When my mom called to ask about the blind spot detectors, why didn’t Johnny tell her the car didn’t have it over the phone? All he said was why don’t you come in and we will see what we can figure out. He is the one that sold her the car. He knew it clearly did not have the features she was asking about. So why make her think something could be fixed? Or that there was a malfunction with the car?I understand that the car buyer is responsible for making sure it’s what they are looking for, but when someone has never had a vehicle with all of these safety features they may not know what to look for. She hasn’t bought a car for over 10 years! Technology is so different. That’s what the salesman is for. They are the experts. They are there to help the car buyer in these situations and ensure they understand what all is offered.Unfortunately, Johnny misguided my mom into thinking this car was “fully loaded” with all the features she was looking for. I honestly hope both of these men read this review and feel guilty for what they did. They just wanted the car off the lot with no remorse for taking advantage of someone. You both should be ashamed of yourselves about how y’all handled this situation.

Prominently on their website it states they are the best in Customer Service, That couldnt be further from the truth. Greedy, no integrity, absolutely no regard for customer --just interested in making a buck at all costs. I am not local so needed to do my diligence in buying a large ticket item out of caution and peace of mind.Monday - I spoke to Jonathan about a car I intended to buy. I said I needed itemized pricing sheet & more information on the car that was not provided on the website, but once I had the information I would be moving forward. No hassle from me. I didnt even question or try to negotiate the price!! He said that while he was getting that information for me, I needed to put in an application, so that finance could run the numbers and get in touch with me I promptly put in the application and confirmed it was received at 432pTuesday - I called, then texted Jonathan at 945am. He responded @ 1133am and said he was getting minor dent fixed and he would call to get my deposit. He called around 447p to gather my deposit, but I advised him that i hadnt heard from anyone regarding pricing, financing etc. and i was not comfortable giving $500 until I had this information, in addition to answers to final answers to questions I had on the vehicle. i never received documents or a call from finance.Wednesday - Did not hear from Jonathan all day. At 435p I texted for the information. No response or call. Reached out again at 929pm I texted and told him I was ready to move forward, and to have the finance team call to discuss.Thursday - Called again at 936am to make the deal. No response. Called again at 1228pm. Finally called the main sales line and was transferred to another person named Esteban. I explained that Jonathan had not been responsive to me in two days, and I was ready to buy the car, once I had the documents, including FINAL PRICE of car. Not unreasonable if you are laying down thousands of $$$. It was like starting all over again. He started asking me if I had put in an application, if I was going to finance. etc. I TOLD HIM I JUST NEEDED THE DOCUMENTS.5:07pm received a text CAR SOLD Not only a text, but a photo of the buyer with the car. Boy, was that a huge F YOUIf you want to buy a car on the dealers terms, with little or no information, no communication, lies, etc This is the place for you.If you want to be treated with common courtesy, honesty and integrity, go elsewhere.

I can agree with others that have rated 2 and 3. They do advertise online cheaper. I called and spoke with Chase, he gave me the price and the estimated dealer fees. He told me my estimated monthly payment but not the total amount the vehicle would cost. When I got there, Apparently Chase was not available until after my deal was completed. He mysteriously appears to introduce himself. However, Frank handled the process. I did not like the fast talking and the lack of answering my question in regards to the total cost prior to signing. Now, the reason for me rating the dealership 5 stars is b/c they did sell me what I asked for with the request given. But like any purchase of a vehicle, both parties have to compromise sometimes. Thank you Chase, Frank and Steve!!!

Stay away from this place . I purchased a 2014 Dodge Challenger .When I pulled out from the dealer the car was making a loud annoying noise.The sales manager Steven came out to look at it popes the hood and said maybe it’s water when it was washed.I thought it was bull .He did asked to bring it back if it continues.I drove 3 hours to get there purchased on line had no intentions of going back but I did.When they checked the car service said it was the pulley.The Lilly was changed and they called me to pick it up.when I arrived the vehicle was still doing the same noise.So they brought it to service and stated it was the belt.I waited over two hours.On the way home it started agian and the car stopped completely all lights were on.I called the dealer and they said I should check with a mechanic in my area and I should have got a extended warranty.KeepI’m mind I only had the car two days.I brought it to another dealer and the pulley and the belt was the wrong one also the pulley.The belt was so loose he pulled it out with his bare hand.The next day after the vehicle was fixed by another mechanic.I realized the dealer Reliance Nissan stole my back up camera that was on my vehicle. These people are trash Steven Dommer the sales manager

My girlfriend bought a new Sentra SR, and the experience was unmatched for her first big purchase. We came late at night, and they still placed their attention on our requests. She was able to test drive, to negotiate, and complete the whole purchase. Honestly, I wish my first car buying experience was as smooth as hers with Reliance Nissan! I most say I almost took her out of her purchase because I was confused with the Apex protection that Nissan offers, but good thing she was patient, and understood the explanation. Jacob was very respectful, good listener, and definitely the right salesman she needed, and both Stevens (Sales Manager, and Finance Manager) were on point as well. The building is very nice, clean, and they follow COVID-19 measures.

Chase Caldwell was fantastic to work with. Very nice young man. Steven the sales manager that helped out was very nice also. We did think we were getting the dealer package that included extras like dent repair, and oil changes for 2 years but when we were in the financing we were told it was only 1 year. We then went back and asked Steven to confirm since he was the person who initially told us about the package. Steven went and asked the finance guy (Stephen also) and said it was only 1 year. The extra year would have been nice since that’s what we were told during the sales process. That was a let down that will cost us money.

This dealership has been the farthest thing from professional I could imagine. I bought a vehicle from them on December 5, 2020. There was a chip in the dash board trim panel. A very simple fix that I priced for $300 at the dealership. As part of the “we owe you” document when buying the vehicle, Reliance Nissan owed me to change that panel out as part of the deal before I bought the truck. They told me they’d set the appointment up for me at a dealership closer to where I lived. It’s been almost a month now and I call practically every day to see to it that they set up that appointment and they’ve done nothing to help me. Frank, the sales guy that told me he’d set up the appointment hangs up on me when he sees my number and refuses to answer phone calls or texts. The manager is always “outside with a customer” absolutely no one helps me to change this trim piece they owe me. I have signed papers saying they owe it, and they ignore me. I’ll be getting a lawyer- maybe they’ll talk to them since they avoid me. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE. They do not live up to their promises.

After not being able to get the numbers to work within budget I was presented with the option of a 2020 Titan Platinum Reserve, which I thought was completely out of the realm of possibility, but Frank & team made it work, and I drove away in a truck that far surpassed my expectations, and I couldnt be happier.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went in two days ago to purchase a vehicle that I saw online. The vehicle needed minor repairs & the salesperson said they could be made. I stayed there for almost 2.5 hours discussing prices & the fixes, I needed to go home. I then decided to return the next day to purchase. The GM called me yelling saying NO FIXES, It’s AS-IS. Which is not what I was told. The GM was very disrespectful and rude. Although the salesperson was nice the GM was the rudest person I have ever encountered. I wouldn’t buy from them regardless of any price, ever. That’s not how you talk to people.

My airbag light had come on a few days before I was supposed to take a trip to Dallas. Reliance took my car in right away and offered to look into the issue in hopes of having it resolved in time for my trip. It was resolved and fixed in one day - I was really impressed! In addition, when I first took it in, everything was spelled out regarding the process and how much it might cost, so that there would be no surprises. The car wash was a pleasant surprise too! Great service!

I found one of their cars on Autotrader, I called them and spoke with the salesman named Chase, he said he will call me back after he check with the manager, but he didnt call me so I called him again after 5 hours and he did not honor the price on Autotrader, he wanted $3000 for some dealer package. DISHONESTY

I had an amazing experience at Reliance Nissan of Alvin when it was time to buy a new car because mines got totaled. I was sad and depressed because for one I wasnt at fault and for two I havent had a car note in 3 years. Frank and Johnny were really nice honest men and they looked out for me and my family and got us a great deal on a 2020 Pathfinder. My lender was changed, and I didn’t know until I signed the papers. They had been pressuring me about the Capital One letter I had. I spent hours and days researching that approval and speaking with Capital One. And still I ended up putting more down than I wanted. And after all that back and forth about the lender, the APR and my down payment I find out they chose, not me, to use Ally because of the lower APR. I wanted Capital One with their APR and my budgeted down payment. I settled for the car because if it wasn’t this car lot fast talking and smiling in my face, it would have been another. I plan on paying my bills and becoming financially able to purchase cars cash in the future.

Well I almost thought no deal was possible so i called my uber, but while i was waiting, Frank was able to do a deal with my best offer. I told him that if anything changed, Im out. But the final deal was exactly what i had offered. Be sure to ask about terms and conditions from any web offers; mine was that it had to be financed in-house. Since they matched my banks offer, it was a go for launch. Overall I was quite satisfied.

Problems started with the buying process. I had an appointment as I needed to drive 4 hours to get there. I called the dealership on the way to let them know my exact ETA. They said everything would be ready for me to sign and go. When I got there, the paperwork and car weren’t ready.Temp tag flew off on my way home. I called for a replacement and was told they couldn’t give me one. I called a month later to see if the plates were ready... no plates yet.We are at 58 days now... despite paying a pretty high “dealer fee” I still have no plates and no one can tell me when to expect them. I’ve been pulled over due to the lack of plates and it’s starting to get on my nerves.I would recommend that if you work with these guys, you expect as little support and service as possible.

When I first called the fellow was warm and polite and took the time to listen to my issues before directing me to the proper department. Once I got around to the service Department I got Mr. Homer who was very professional, personal and friendly right from the start. After asking me to bring it in that day, asap! When I arrived he showed concern as he recounted issues I had mentioned with my car over the phone and with little thought gave me a car to use while they sorted out the problem within just a day. Kept me in the loop of the entire process and was forthcoming with information to keep us both on the same page. If I have anymore issues with my Nissan (while I hope I dont) I definitely know where Ill be taking it!

Visited this dealership on Dec. 29, 2020 since they wouldnt give me an out of door price via email as i asked multiple time. Test drove the vehicle and I really really loved it. The sales person still didnt want to give us a copy of the printed, out of door price and fees, so my husband and I could go home discuss, and sleep on it. When asked again, he went and got his manager, who then came over introduced himself and then shook our hands and said well let us know if yall want to buy something. And no im not simplifying his conversatation. That was all he said. Made is feel as if he was ready for us to leave. After this I knew for sure I was not purchasing a vehicle from here! So again, I asked for a print out just for the heck of it and the manager hesitated before tellling the salesman to go make us a copy. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. A lot of sales people walking around with no mask on. I had to asked ours to put his on as he sat a foot across the table from us.Anyways did some searching, found this exact same vehicle at Gulf Coast in Angleton, and even though it is was slightly higher, we were greeted with excellent customer service and that is worth paying for.

Went to look at a truck today. Told the salesman (Tim) ahead of time I had secured my own financing and wanted to test drive the vehicle they had listed online. I went and drove the truck, then the salesman told me I wasn’t going to be able to use my own financing because it was from out of state even though it is not and they have offices in Texas. Knowing this didn’t sound right and that something was up at this point I pushed back and then the sales manager (Stephen) came out and talked to me. I called him out on the bank not being out of state and he admitted during our conversation that he had to secure financing himself and pad the interest rate by around 2-3% in order to make money at the price listed. If you value honesty and integrity take your business somewhere else, these guys are crooks. Padding interest rates is a shady way to do business. (OWNER PLEASE TAKE NOTE) if you want to address this situation and make it right I will take down this review.
