I sent a package through this locations FedEx Service 6 days ago. When I checked the tracking on the package today, the package had STILL not left Walgreens. I contacted FedEx and they confirmed that I dropped it off at that location but that it had not yet left that location. When I spoke to the associate at the FedEx counter, at Walgreens, she looked around for the package briefly and then stated that there was nothing else she could do for me. The staff are supposed to be trained to function as a facilitator of that service and the staff member that I tried to get help from refused to contact FedEx or get a store manager to assist me. I DO understand that she does not directly work for FedEx but she could have tried to track the package from her end or contacted FedEx. But she refused. Customer service skills are badly needed at this location. I will never shop here again.
Typically extremely busy in the pharmacy. It seems the best way to pick up prescriptions is right before they close for lunch (1:30) and right before they close (11:00) I do believe. Otherwise the store itself is convenient and staff is helpful. The pharmacy however warrants the 3 star review.
Followed around store. Only went in for rescue inhaler. Always Walgreen activities.
Ty really showed great customer service. I went through the drive-through for my Covid test she was very nice full of joy!
The lady at the photo counter is super rude and stand offish. My wife went to pick up a picture a little early and she proceeded to roll her eyes at her and mumble stuff under her breath to another employee. We won’t be back to this location.
Slowest pharmacy in the world. Terrible service. Hire more people. Ridiculous. Waiting almost an hour in the drive through.
Ive been having 2 prescriptions a month filled here for the past 5 years and I can count on one hand the number of times its been the typical, simple process of them receiving the prescription then them notifying me of a pick up time and filling it correctly. The other 90 percent of the time, it takes multiple phone calls and having to sit on hold and basically beg/argue to get my prescription filled correctly. I have an autoimmune thyroid disease and have been out of medicine for over a week (in the middle of a pandemic) because every employee at the Alvin Walgreens seems completely baffled by how to fill a prescription with anything other than the generic brand.
I needed my inhaler to help me breath after my neck was seriously scratched up. I was wheezing like crazy and couldn’t pull a full breath in at night. I begged the pharmacist at Walgreens to Please fill my prescription for the inhaler and all anyone could tell me was that it was processing. I still haven’t gotten my inhaler. If it’s an important prescription don’t come here. They’ll literally let you die and tell your corpse, “don’t worry it’s processing it’ll be done soon”.
It has been a joke trying to reach the pharmacy at this store. Was on hold for 35 minutes only to be hung up on. This wait time was extended 3 more times wasting more than an hour trying to simply get a refill. Was booted to the call center 4 times having to repeat all my info each time. Get it together.
Made a appointment for covid shot at 6:00 pm and was told to get behind walk-up. Why make appointment at all. Didnt get shot till all walk-up did. Service was terrible.
Clean, well stocked & staff is willing to help you at any time.
Thank you for being open 24hrs! Only pharmacy that was open when my kid developed a fever in the middle of the night! Thank you for the overnight staff
The girls at this pharmacy need more training. Very unwelcoming and unapologetic when they are in the wrong. Not professional at all and take forever all for it to not even be correct. Rude and unprofessional.
I have done business with a competitor of Walgreens for many many years. But after MY pharmacy didnt have my rx in stock (I have it filled every 14 days) they say they cant seem to get it in and I should try all the other cvs in the area. Well, I tried Walgreens and they not only had it in stock, had it ready by time I drove there but they also ordered more stock even though I never promised them that Id leave cv ummmm the other pharmacy.....maybe its time to bring over the over 17 RXs from myself and my hubby to Walgreens...they have been so nice and friendly...Im feeling like a spoiled old grannie :-)
What a joke of a pharmacy, lets first start off with the staff! These ladies should ALL be fired! They have NO customer service skills and are very rude. Just there and not one person helped an older gentlemen for over 5 minutes to the point to where he was leaning on the counter to balance himself. If that isnt enough to not want to use this location. Well, they will charge your insurance for services they did NOT do if you walk out from having to wait so long. Three times trying to get my flu shot to only find out the first attempt was charged to my insurance after i walked out after waiting for over 30 minutes. This will now take 3-5 days to be corrected before i can go somewhere else to get this prevented shot in hopes to NOT get sick during the cold months. The assistant manager in training was very nice. But, this is the experience i have had each time i have been there. New staff and LOTS of customer service training is most needed!! I know that corporate could give two $%, but this is so wrong on so many levels the way those ladies treat their customers... RANT OVER!!!
The employee named Kennedy is the most inept and disrespectful employee. I dont understand how Walgreens has employees like her. DOESNT KNOW HOW TO TREAT THE CUSTOMER, DO NOT RESPECT, teases the customer, is a bad mannered, rudeSHE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EDUCATION AND She is a SIMPLE and BAD employed and is believed to be a great manager.
Been coming to this store for years always good service thank you
I suffer from Haitel hernia. I only called to ask if they had in stalk some Mylanta. The female was really rude and didnt know what it was. Yes sir did call the pharmacy department!
I usually don’t do reviews. But the new cashier Ariel is such a sweetheart and so nice & helpful! They last few cashiers were rude and would never speak when you walked up but Ariel greets you with a smile and small talks with you and try’s to help out any way she can. Keep it up Ariel! We appreciate you!
Dropping in for the quick drink or smokes is no big deal, but the pharmacy is a joke. As Im sitting here writing this review, they are refilling my prescription again. First, I went on the app to request a refill to be done at 7pm. App confirmed that it went through. I show up at 7:10, and the lady behind the counter informs me that it wasnt filled yet and it would take 15-20 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and she called me back up saying it was ready. She then spent 15 minutes looking for it and could not find it. I asked twice if they could just redo it, and they said no. The only reason theyre refilling it now is because a long line developed behind me. How disorganized do you have to be to lose a prescription you JUST filled?! Im still waiting for my refill...
Shay in the pharmacy just went above and beyond to make certain I was given the right prescription. She dig through both my profiles and was so very helpful!
I have shopped the Walgreens Alvin, Texas location most of my life and have never had a complaint. Two months ago we transferred our prescriptions to this location which was a terrible terrible mistake. I have never seen a more poorly run pharmacy. We have had more issues during these two months than we have over our entire lifetime. Today was the last day we will ever deal with this location again. Hubby dropped off our prescriptions around 1pm. At 2pm I received a call that it was too early for one of them. I was told that I must pick it back up asap because they will not keep it on file. Worried they would lose it we headed back to town an hour later to pick it up. The pharmacist told me he didnt have it. I explained the call I received and he shuffled a few papers around and insisted he did not have it. I walked out and told hubby the issue. Hubby walked in and told the pharmacist that he WILL find the prescription. Well guess what! It was there! He just couldnt find it for me.
I have now ordered photos twice ahead of time to be picked up by a certain timeBoth times they are unaware of my order even after I received confirmation emails that they received my order and confirmations it’s ready for pick up!!! When I show up to pick up my order... the same thing both times, they never received it and don’t know what happened and are quick to make it right then and there.... if this only happened once... then fine, I understand... but twice!! They just aren’t paying attention to online orderes at all and have no excuse as to why it’s not ready when I show up to get my order so they just say it was never received!!!
Now that they have changed their pharmacy hours, their pharmacy customer service has declined dramatically. I’m going to have to switch. It’s ridiculous waiting 3 days for a prescription, to be told it’s not covered and I’ll get a call back... never did. I had to call just to be told this time it was out of stock, I called again and then was told it was discontinued, called the next day and was told the doctor needs to change it.... come on Walgreens Pharmacy get your stuff together.
Cant believe how unprofessional Michael the pharmacists at this particular Walgreens is.. will make you wait for your prescription until 8 in the morning on date to be filled prescriptions. I called ahead would have been nice to know ahead of time.. definitely didnt appreciate the smirk on his face while telling me I had to wait until 8am.. its 1230am drove all the way over to this Walgreens in Alvin from Lake Jackson tx
Came here to complain about them labeling everything the wrong price and then refusing to honor the true price but i see it is already an issue. Tried to purchase an njoy ace vape pen but they told me it was $28 but i know for a fact they are $4.99 at EVERY other walgreens. EMPLOYEE WAS RUDE AND ARGUMENTATIVE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Extremely slow, employees are nice but the pharmacy wait is ridiculous!
Never have meds ready when promised. ALWAYSSLOW...SLOW...SLOW. i have been in the drive through for nust shy of 30 minutes. This is second time in. First time through...of course did not have meds ready although i scanned the refills in at 5am this morning. It is now 7:30pm. Moreover...they dont seem to give a flying fanny about improving anything with their service issues.
My prescription was called in at 1:00pm, it is currently 6:00pm, and they told me it would be another 20 minutes. 5 hours to fill one prescription for antibiotics. Not getting my prescriptions sent here again.
Wish I could give 0 stars. This pharmacy is by far the WORST! have the doctor send over the prescriptions at 8am and go to pick up at noon, they havent even started on it; go back around 7pm and here I am still waiting. Two of these ladies are highly rude and using profanity just joking around and playing. I will be contacting higher authority for this location and showing the video evidence as well as script time sent and recieved from doctor. Switching pharmacy tomorrow! This is very unprofessional and also life threatening as my daughter needs this specific medicine daily, several times a day! Get it together Walgreens!
This Walgreens is horrible. The pharmacy staff are all extremely rude and completely put out by asking get them to do their job. My daughters Dr prescribed her the same prescription my Dr gave me. Walgreens split a 10 day Tamiflu into a 5 day split and double charged for it. In business, this is called THEFT. We wont ever use Walgreens again.
Quick place to go in and out. Helpful staff
The Alvin Walgreens pharmacy is by far the slowest pharmacy I’ve ever used. Currently standing 12th in line to pick up meds. They closed the drive thru so you are forced to come in. Only one person running the register. I’m curious why more employees aren’t working during peek busy hours like a Friday evening.
The pharmacy technician screamed at me for ringing the bell to be waited on. I would never speak to a person the way she spoke to me. It was a very upsetting experience.
The staff was really friendly and they went out of their way to make sure i left happy.
I have been in 3 times today due to getting texts saying the prescription I need is ready for pick up however it is still not ready due to a prior auth is still pending. However you bet they offer to let me just pay for it. The service here is terrible and I truly remember why I switched to a pharmacy 25 minutes away is because I would rather travel and get good service than deal with the rude, sloppy people here. I truly cannot phathum how anyone finds this place acceptable. I have to still get this medication here as it is for my husband who had surgery this morning and the doctors office is already closed which means I cannot take it else where since it was sent electronically. Im sure I will have to give them our insurance again when I go back in, in a while since the other 3 times I have went in today they have told me he doesnt have insurance in their system although they themselves sent it through the insurance. BTW if you need prior auth you might as well call your insurance yourself as they will not do it. Or you can take your script to CVS because they will for sure help you and provide you with better service.
Never have the medications in stock. Staff is rude and dont call if in a hurry because you will be on hold a minimum of 15 min. Worst CVS ever. Going back to Walgreens.
Better count your meds at the window! Nearly every month I get shorted between 10 and 20 pain pills, and once you leave the window there is nothing you can do about it!
ZERO stars if I could!!! This Walgreens has a nice location, and the store personnel in general are helpful, nice for the most part, and most will help you. THE PHARMACY HOWEVER, is a total disaster. Ive NEVER in my life seen so many unprofessional idiots in one location, but the pharmacist in charge is the most incompetent individual in the business. Theyve had a few since our insurance forced us to start using them. Absolutely horrible customer service, and they dont, or cant understand simple prescriptions. We have to use CVS for about half our prescriptions because of their incompetence. Really a shame. Seems the store manager settles for other pharmacies rejected, incompetent castoffs, and hires them. When we take the prescriptions to CVS that the idiots at Walgreens wont fill, they tell us they arent reading them correctly, and have no problem filling them for us! Really Alvin Walgreens?!! So....no more buying anything other than the must have prescriptions (about 4), the rest I actually pay far less for at CVS. Without insurance. No more Valentine candy, milk, snacks, whatever EVER from Alvin Walgreens. Ill get it elsewhere, just because the stupid at Alvin Walgreens pharmacy just keeps getting worse. If the manager cant get the problems we all complain about, ie: 90 pain pills scripts only having 72 or ? in the bottle, incorrect charging from month to month, etc. fixed, that place will suffer worse than it is already. The pharmacy is hurting the store. The manager either doesnt care, or is incapable themselves. Ill use the last of my Walgreens rewards, and send a letter to corporate and the state about the serious issues, along with some video and join the thousands of other customers theyve run off. How many more can they run off before corporate cleans house in that craphole? Ugh! Im done with my rant,...NEXT!!
This is one of the worst Walgreens Ive ever dealt with. The pharmacy customer service is severely lacking. I wouldnt have had an issue with waiting an additional hour and a half if someone would have explained things.
Pharmacy Technician was rude and seemed liked she didnt care. Told me she couldnt fill it or order the medication. Called later and talked to the pharmacist and he said that he could order it and would. Not the first time Ive had trouble getting prescriptions filled at this location. The female Technician was just rude and unfriendly. I wont be going back.
The cashier was very rude! Never going to that walgreens again. She mumbled stupid and thought I didnt hear her. Its not my fault she had a hangover and had to work early in the morning. Its her job to ring up the products. I dont care if she says hello to me or not just dont be rude to me!
If you need meds, go to another pharmacy, these people are something else, Im on my 3rd dayStill waiting on meds
Awesome, i get in and out quickly,😊your people are very helpful.
Went to pick up my photos, but no one was around. I asked for help and waited awhile but no one came. Im glad I really didnt need the photos right away.
Trying to update insurance and it took over an hour. This place is joke for medication!!!
I have never been treated or talked to so snottily as I was by the pharmacy manager (Luchana Eugene) on 1-12-17. First she rudely told me that I was at the wrong window before she bothered to find out what was going on, and told me to go to the other window. United Healthcare had already talked to Walgreens on my behalf and was told that Walgreens would be reimbursing me for a prescription that was mistakenly rejected at first and I had to pay the $41.99 out of my own pocket. Ms. Eugene however refused to do so when I got there and told me that she wasnt going to retro anything regardless of what Walgreens pharmacy employees had previously told United Healthcare. Furthermore, she didnt give me my prescription for my oral mouth rinse that Walgreens had already billed United for (basically committing Medicaid fraud). I got nothing but a bad attitude from the Pharmacy Manager when I asked for her help on this issue, and then I overheard her discussing with other employees how ridiculous my request was, making me out to be a fool. Wlagreens has lost a customer for life behind her unprofessionalism and unwillingness to be helpful to the customer. With her attitude Ms. Eugene needs to be working in a prison pharmacy, not at Walgreens.
Cheap prescription drugs, good points system
It is pricey compared to Walmart but the aisles are always neat bathrooms are always need plenty of room to move around its not overcrowded and good friendly customer service
Horrible customer service. Employees were very rude and pharmacy was very slow and ladies were extremely rude. I will never go there again.
Worst pharmacy ever never once had a decent experience. Run do not walk far from this place.
Labels thing the wrong price and then refuses to honor the price.
The pharmacy has no idea what time is. I called to check the status for my sons prescription and they said 15 minutes. I show up 15 minutes later and they tell me another hour. Pick any pharmacy but this one.
We waited for a hour to get a shot that I didn’t even get
Always a pleasure!
I been on the phone waiting for the pharmacy department to answer me for an hour am getting very impatient!!!!!!
They have a clean store
Pharmacy is too slow
So rude!!!!!!!!
Very well all assorted !!!
