I go here sometimes for groceries, always running good buys and have a large quantity of stock.

Our cashier was TYRE he had a grate personality and i complimented on the way he carefully and orderly put our groceries in the cart, he said thats the way i would want my things treated, that really impressed me. I can see he really cares about people and his job.

Didnt realize you had to pay 16 cents a bag and bag it yourself !!!

Dirty. Floors look like they havent been cleaned in months, especially around the edges. Doesnt exactly inspire confidence about shopping here during the pandemic. Cashier wasnt exactly friendly either. Out of a lot of products.UPDATE: Went to the link provided by Save a Lot, status says resolved but I was never contacted.

There ok for certain things. Prices are pretty close to others but quality of product isnt that great. Few items I needed that I went in for were little to wilted fot me. Some of the boxes were beat up. I wasnt able to make what I wanted that night cause product wasnt that great. I was able to grab something else. Had no issues with employees all seemed pretty nice

Update 2021I am in this store at least 4 times a week and everytime I walk in I can always find what Im looking for. Recently there has been a new Manger named Autumn that is AMAZING. She is extremely friendly and always has a smile on her face no matter how bust she is. Keep up the great work your whole team is amazing❤This is and will always be my favorite grocery store. Very cheap prices for everything. All the employees are extremely helpful and kind. There has never been a time that I have went in this store and ever had a bad experience. I have lived in altoona for 4 years and for this area that says alot. Recently they got a new employee Im not sure of her name but she is the African American women with the biggest smile and a heart of gold. She is always nice and very helpful.

Great selection of products at cheap prices. If something breaks they replace it for free. Valuable and respectful staff. The only complaint is narrow product selection. Not as wide and variable as Walmart or Giant Eagle but i have noticed significant improvement over the past year so thats good.

They never have the $19.99 box of bacon ever

Had a great time selection is extremely good. Other things that we use can only find at Save-A-Lot they are putting brand names in but I like certain generic names over the brand name and it dont seem like her selling them anymore but other than that is still aterrific store

I always do my grocery shopping here. There is a really good selection of food. And it is all prices pretty low. The layout is pretty simple. But the floors could be a little cleaner.

I always find what Im looking for here and dont have to pay a mint for it. It is mostly non name brands although they are increasing their selection, sometimes just for special deals. Their meat department is excellent.

They have fantastic steaks and very inexpensive...people think its save a lot that they just sell like canned stuff and cheap cereal haha..but they have fantasic porterhouse and NY strips...marble on the steaks is important and they have some of the best...their butcher is good
