Highly Recommend. My rough opening for the garage door was too big from my builder so Sonny/Allegheny Overhead Door LLC customized it perfectly by installing PVC Trim board and double seals. All spaces were also caulked perfectly. He spent the time to make everything top notch...nice clean finish-wires tight and hidden, no short cuts. Sonny installed my new Haas Charcoal over 17 R value door, powder coated white track/rails and brackets interior! My garage door was not working 100% of the time. It would go up half way and then go back down. It took a couple tries to get it to work properly. My wife and I shopped around for a garage door to replace our extremely outdated plywood door with single pane plate glass windows.We searched, and searched, and searched. We had specific needs and some wants. We got several quotes from companies and independent contractors.We chose Allegheny Overhead Door for several reasons:1. I contacted Allegheny Overhead Door after reading reviews. Sonny returned my phone call promptly and an appointment was scheduled for a few days later. I found the service people (Elijah and Brendan) to be communicative, friendly and highly professional. They showed a good understanding of the system and were quickly able to diagnose and repair the problem. The garage door which had developed a tear at the bottom was reenforced. Before they left, they explained what was wrong and answered all of my questions.The cost of the repairs was very reasonable.Unfortunately, the garage door opener started to act up again when I went to use it later that evening. I left a phone message about the problem expecting to hear back the next work day. Sonny phoned me back after hours and even offered to send someone out that same evening to address the problem. Note that I am located at quite a distance from their home base and that I had already paid the invoice. The problem was quickly fixed (a wire had become detached) and has been working perfectly ever since. I would highly recommend Allegheny Overhead Door for all things related to garage door systems. Just had new door and opener installed by Sonny. Awesome guy, did great job. I got the latest and greatest liftmaster opener. This opener has a WiFi option with an app to download. It allows you many options from mobile device. You can open and close door from anywhere. You can be alerted when door opens or closes, you can review history of when it opens and closes. Nice option when away on vacation. Overall experience was awesome with Sonny.
