Came here for a haircut and amber did an amazing job, i entered with long curtain bangs that needed a desperate cut and messy layers and she fixed it perfectly, i came out with beautiful, soft hair that felt 10x better and healthier then when i walked in! she also talks you through exactly what she’s doing so theres no miscommunications and it also helps you learn a better process to take care of your hair at home

I decided to get my hair done here 2 years ago. Biggest mistake of my life. I asked for some highlights and a bob cut. I left with my entire head highlighted and a hair cut up to my ears. It’s now 2 years later and my hair still hasn’t grown. Thanks for frying my hair with 40 vol bleach.

They have something called a Beauty Bar Ladies!! And I got my eyebrows waxed, trimmed, and even TINTED there. For a great non-expensive price. Plus they looked awesome. Being from a different area(Long Island, NY), I didnt trust the shops in Altoona to do an Arched eyebrow well.. but they really went above and beyond there, plus the Ladies that work there are great to talk to. You can get trapped theyre forever.. 🥰Sorry guys the picture was the day after & in the morning.. lol 😂But these eyebrows are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had a very good experience today my daughter had a cheer competition so we decided to look for an ulta near by, we walked in and were instantly told hello by a shorter ginger girl we came browse today and wound up buying a few items because everyone was very friendly grabbed some makeup wipes and new Mascara im going to try the line at register was long but the tall blonde who rang us out was very kind even complimentsed my daughter cheer outfit Will stop back in when im back in town

Clean and well organized. I was greatest by the person standing at the door counting how many people can in and out; but thats it. Three sales associates walked past me and not one asked if I needed assistance.

The people at the salon were very nice. However, after Anna gave me two different haircuts (one side what I asked for, the other side MUCH shorter), the manager came over to “make it look more feminine”. When she finished she said, “Well, it’s not horrible.” While they were both very nice, “not horrible” is not what I was looking for in a haircut. Please do not get your hair cut here.

I had two great experiences here they did an amazing job with my hair and makeup for my senior year of prom and graduation day!!! Would recommend I plan on going up to get a facial done and will update this comment. Also, they have the best selections of beauty products!! I highly recommend this place and hopefully plan on get my makeup done here when I get married 😊

I go to Ulta for everything when it comes to skin care and makeup. I have never really had a horrible experience until today. The ladies are almost always so helpful with my questions. But today I asked a manager for help and for a sample of foundation when I have gotten samples before without even asking for them and the lady denied me and proceeded to follow me as I put it back and walked out of the store. I was just upset overall with the experience when normally I never experience these encounters.

I took my girlfriend here, and I was skeptical at first of how it would be but, I was Impressed. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly and down to earth. Also, she said that there were a lot of the products that she had been looking for. Very clean, easily accessible store. Also well cooled with the excessive heat outside. The employees at this store go above and beyond to make the customer happy, even when its not necessary.

Love the products, the prices range from low price affordable to pricey with multiple options in between. The staff was courteous and helpful, my only concern was the tight aisles holding an overflow of products. That made it difficult to navigate while holding an armful of products. It may have been due to the holiday season.

Very nice big open place. a lot of happy employers who are happy to help. they make education decisions based on your type of hair face or nails depending on what you need of their products. the items are rather expensive, they last long if you conserve since they come in smaller portions but most products are worth it because they are high quality.

Went in to color match a foundation. Got the correct color but the associate dripped makeup on my white shirt. Didnt say anything to me. Wasnt until I left that I noticed it. If you make a mistake own it. Shirt is now ruined.

Very expensive. There is a large diversity in beauty products as well as a salon. I was a little lost when I entered the store. I was given a gift card for the store. Im not sure if I would go again, as Im a person with a budget. They do have about 3 different clearance sections that have a good variety of items.

I was so happy that I hugged my stylist and cried tears of joy! Literally! Amanda fixed my hair that I have been unhappy with for so long. She gave it a much needed bump of style with taking barely anything off (I never trust anyone with scissors near my long hair! lol). All of the other hair stylists are so friendly and sweet as well. For anyone who is wondering where they should go - this is a fun, trustworthy, and knowledgable shop to get your hair done at!

If you need anything for beauty or hair care it is all at Ulta. We were there for a wonderful sale on Bare Minerals and found a sale on shampoo also. Love Ulta

Wide range of products and price points, clean organized store and friendly staff. Nice selection of mens products also like facial scrubs, cologne and more. Located in the Logan Town Shopping center near lots of other shopping places and plenty of available free parking. Would recommend.

This was my first time going to Ulta (right?!) and I had a blast getting some self care! Ulta carries a variety of cosmetic products ranging from lipsticks to shampoos to facial cleansers. I was looking to buy a new blush brush, and one of the employees was incredibly knowledgable and helped me find a blush brush that was perfect for me!

Another place my wife stops on every trip to Altoona. She loves the products and the coupons they send her. The best I can tell you is they have a nice restroom.

I never feel comfortable walking in there. And any time Ive been there, they make me feel like Im a criminal. Following you around and watching every move. Ill go else where and spend my money.

Over priced. But they do have a nice selection to browse if your looking for a new higher end cosmetic, haircare, skin care, or perfume line. Most of the staff is pretty knowledgeable in the products that are sold. They also have a salon towards the back of the store.

I was there for 30 minutes or more walking around, not knowing where anything was and not a single person asked me if I needed help. Most things are extremely expensive but I did buy a semi-reasonably priced hair dryer.

I have been to this Ulta so many times. I have never really liked the environment. At times I felt I was inconvenient to the employees. Today.....Hannah changed my mind. She was so friendly and kind to me. Willing to help me and take time to do so. I will be back!! And not once a year, as in the past. Thank you Hannah for your help today!!!! You really changed my Ulta experience!!

I used to love Ulta but 2 things have happened. Im a diamond member, you got a free gift when you became diamond, it was a good size box with tiny trials in it only 3 tiny trial products. Not employees fault, keep shopping there my Birthday month got email about a free birthday gift had to pick up in store a full size mascara! I lost the email, I asked if they could use my member card and license to give me my birthday gift and they said no, they were very rude to me during the rest of the transaction, I was embarrassed by the two people behind the counter, one was way worse than the other, I think she thought she was a supervisor but obviously just a bully!! All customers should be treated better! They also had no idea they sold brush bath (even an ulta brand) and when I explained how to use it the girl said I wish there were such a thing and dismissed me as though I knew nothing!! She did not help or get another associate because she did not believe the item existed! I went home and bought online. They need to be more knowledgeable about their products and take some customer service training!!!

When checking the Google reviews, my jaw dropped with the first of only two reviews. Thank goodness I wasnt using the reviews as my sole reference for patronizing the Altoona,PA. ULTA location.The reviewer used the word, hate, & always, . These are absolute words. Not masny behaviors are,always, & hate is usually reserved to describe something or someone despicable. The reviewer turns the review into a personal attack by singling out individual workers. The reviewers words seem excessive, in my estimation, reviewing a business selling luxury items like cosmetics. If this person suffered such shockingly rude treatment by a staff member, a manager needed to be notified immediately. A GOOGLE review is a passive aggressive tool for an individual who, despite chronic, rude behavior, continues to identify herself as a, loyal customer. My question for the reviewer, Why do you continue patronizing a business you,hate ? Spend your money with another vendor or shop online, eliminating your contact with retail workers completely. Almost without exception, BARE MINERALS products are less expensive on line.While I find the store understaffed, & have, frequently had difficulty immediately locating a representative, I never looked longer than 5 minutes. I have never been treated rudely, discourteously, or in any way dissed by customer service representatives. Get over it already.

This place is the worst. Never anyone to help you and when you do interact with the staff theyre not friendly. Coupons only apply to 1/3 of the merchandise. Leave this place to the teenagers.

Have your receipt with you... Even if it was a gift you are returning. They will not give you store credit for a gift you received and want to exchange for something you want. Their store policy is not in compliance with the company policy or what is listed online as their non receipt return policy.... and they are rude about it.
