Really nice gas station/place to stop for quick lunch during road trip.A LOT of food options, but also some fresh options (like sandwiches, fruit, etc), which I prefer to a greasey pizza or burger that doesnt sit great on the road.There was some seating as well to sit down with our little one to eat.The only downside is its a bit pricier than a normal gas station. But overall, it was a nice stop for us.

Impressive little grocery store!

Grounds dont go IN the coffee. Their pizza is consistently old and dried out, breakfast and lunch. I cant imagine how much unsold food is thrown out here. Sure, theres a grocery store, but I would never grocery shop for my children in a gas station. Lots of beer choices, if thats your thing. This whole place just doesnt seem thought-out or well-executed. I personally dont like it. Sometimes, Im forced to pick up stuff here because of location. If you have a choice, go somewhere else. Go in and look at the pizza sometime.

Really cool store, lots of good food and drink options....If you are COVID conscious be careful... Last time I went in the lady working at the front desk was only wearing a visor - and not even correctly as it did not cover her mouth. When she coughed she did not cover her mouth. This happened on Saturday. This morning Ive woken up with a sore throat and upset stomach.... So you are running a health risk by shopping inside the store. Id check to make sure everyone has a mask on before doing business here. I will likely not be returning to this location.

I have never been more impressed with a gas station in my life. This seems to be a newer gas station and it is as clean as Ive ever seen a gas station be. The offerings include hard liquor, fresh cooked items including breakfast and lunch items, hot fresh coffee with every variety of cold beverage that you could imagine, fresh fruits and vegetables as well as meat products that you would never expect to see at a gas station. This is like a miniature grocery store inside of a gas station. I was told that the space is 12000 sq ft..They have multiple check out registers allowing you to get in-and-out quickly. The people that work there seemed to be happy and willing to help you if you have a question. My family had to find a place to grab a quick breakfast and happened upon this gas station. I ordered the breakfast bacon sandwich and my son and daughter ordered the breakfast burrirtos. We were all very satisfied with the quality and quantity of food that you receive for the price. The regional food service manager was working behind the counter because this food service area was just recently opened. He was polite and came out and offered some Buffalo sauce to my daughter and it was a nice touch given the fact that were literally at gas station and you would expect such attention to detail. I wish that hey had one of these in Washington.

The short blonde manager that was at this store on Tuesday the 22nd, couldnt have been more rude if she tried. I came in the store and (politely) said that they should make the sign on the door about masks because you get almost to the door and then have to walk back to the car to get one. She said (condescendingly) its a state wide mandate. (Its not) and I started trying to disagree with her she LITERALLY said Yeah Yeah and walked away from me!!!! I have always had great service at this location, Its a shame that one bad employee spoils a good company

Decent store for the on-the-go type stuff. If $6 hamburgers are your thing this is your place! You wont find too many deals but the people are friendly and the convenience is worth something.

Incredible! Impressive! Took my mom here to get a few quick things (to avoid bigger store crowds). This place not only has everything you need in a pinch but very friendly staff! Clean, faced, organized, fresh products everywhere you look! Glad to have this in our town! Cheers!

This is the coolest gas station I seen. Fresh pizza cooked in a stone deck oven in 6 minutes, super huge liqueur section with a growler bar with a great selection on tap, and a bunch of take and bake options for dinner + meal kits. This place could be a week day life saver!

More than just a convenience store. Very nice place. Really clean restroom that smells​ great. A digital air compressor for your car tires that actually works when its cold out!

This place is amazing. A little of everything from groceries to fresh made pizza in 6 minutes to Starbucks to fresh meat! Very impressed with the store and staff. Highly recommend.

Very clean, bright, and well stocked store. Great selection of “must have” grocery items, a bigger wine/spirits/beer selection than most liquor stores, and fresh brick oven pizzas and MANY other hot foods to go!Growlers/crowlers of popular and hard to find craft beers are icing on the cake!Both times I visited, every team member I encountered gave excellent customer service and seemed happy to do it! (Not uncommon for hyvee)A great addition to Altoona, and will be my go to going forward!

Garbage is always full for gas everytime I fill up here I try and clean my windows and their not filled or their frozen and not taken care of take maybe fifteen minutes to fill up window washer fluid I’ve called and left a complaint before with the winter season this would be a positive however my windows are nasty from the winter season streaky and not even clean.. gas is ok but you can go down the street to flying jay for a few cents cheaper and better stuff and they always have window washer fluid for semis and cars.. disappointed..

This Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh offers a convenient food and gas option when shopping at the Outlets of Des Moines. Youll find your typical gas station snacks and food as well as a small counter service pizza option. Theres a nice seating area inside, too, so you wont be stuck eating in your car. Overall, this location makes for a nice stop on the way out of town.

Very clean, was asked if I needed help a few times. As a Hy-Vee employee I was impressed. Lots of choices, from quick foods to groceries.

I was genuinely impressed with this new Hy-Vee concept store. It was sparkling clean inside and the staff were attentive and helpful. Looks like another awesome Hy-Vee shopping option!

Had the worst experience ever on Saturday at this new store. First we phoned in an order for their veggie supreme pizza and it was the worst tasting pizza, hardly any veggies and crust was burnt. 2nd tried to use the 8 cent off gas purchase and the 2 clerks could not figure out how to explain to us how to use it, they made us prepay, then could not figure out how to remove the 8 cent per gallon charge, had to get the manager after 45 min of waiting. Very Frustrated with this new store! I would not recommend at all!

The new fast as fresh Hy-Vee is the perfect combination between large Hy-Vee grocery store and a small had station convenience store.
