The Greenbean Coffee House is must stop if you are in the Altoona area. The service is always fast and very friendly. I always drink black coffee/espresso, and they make the best Americanos!! The sandwiches are fresh and made to order. Plus, the outdoor patio and drive-thru are nice touches. I highly recommend the Greenbean Coffee House!

Its very busy and I had to wait in line for awhile. I didnt mind at all. It was my first experience and it was worth waiting. The service was professional and courteous. Great selection and variety. I had a Cafe Latte and my wife had a coffee with toasted marshmallow & carmel pecan with soy milk. They are delicious! She asked if I was a member and directed me to the app to sign up. I enjoyed the experience and I recommend plus it is a local homegrown business that needs our support!

We love having a variety of drinks, hot iced or frozen. I also love that you can get any drink no coffee and create your own as well.

I have to be honest here, Im not sure what the hype is all about. I ordered the caffe mocha. It honestly tasted like watered down milk with some Hersheys chocolate syrup squirted in. Im sure it wasnt actually Hersheys syrup, but thats the taste it reminded me of.Staff was very friendly!

Loves it. Dunkin has went down hill so we were excited and definitely not disappointed at ALL. Great place.

I would call this a privately owned Starbucks. They offer a variety of coffee drinks and frozen creme drinks youd expect to see at a coffee shop.Nice trendy decor, friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, but the quality of the drinks is top notch.The only downside to this location is getting in and out of the parking lot. Its along two busy streets and the drive thru tends to block the few parking spots they have for dine-in customers.

Yes, Im biased. But the Greenbean provides so much to the community and it was truly a pleasure to spend four years working with them. I will always support their projects and I cant wait to see what direction theyre able to take in the future!

The reply from the coffee shop is disingenuous. I ordered a large brewed coffee, and it just did not taste fresh nor rich. I took it back to the counter and spoke with the supervisor. She DID NOT offer to provide another cup. Even if she did, why would I accept another cup of the same quality? I requested that I select a different coffee and PAY THE DIFFERENTIAL. She simply refused. In her words, We cant take it back. And to insinuate that I was seeking a coffee of greater value than what I paid for is beyond belief. This was our first visit, and as you can see, the experience was less than expected. May I suggest: Next time a customer is disappointed in your product, simply take the item back and refund the customer.

This place is seriously the best. Starbucks has nothing on them, and either does any other private coffee place. Leaving the area after college, I missed this place (okay and Mamas) the most. I drink less coffee because I dont have a local greenbean. Go here. And to my friends at Greenbean, please build a location in my home town! Always stop by when I make a trip back to Toon town.

Although the coffee staff and place was very clean and kind, they coffee is not labeled correct. If you like lattes they are not made with espresso, they are made with cold brew. Their iced coffee is half water and have cold brew. They shouldUpdate their style of drinks to match the proper labeling.

Ordered a large size cup of hot brewed coffee. It didn’t taste or smell like fresh coffee. Asked if I can have different drink after one sip and pay the difference. They said that I had to purchase a different one by paying for the full price for that.The attitude of the manager was rude.

Honestly my mocha was better than Starbucks.

I have tried them a few different times and every time I either don’t feel well after having something or it doesn’t taste right. I guess I’ll just pay the dollar or two extra and go down the road to Starbucks

My husband and I have visited twice. We have been nothing but pleased and impressed. We plan to make many trips in the future. We live about 45 minutes away, so every time we have a trip to Altoona, we will make it a point to go out of our way to support this business. Staff members are very kind and helpful and the drinks and treats are amazing!

I akept hearing about how good green bean was, and I am a extremely picky coffee drinker so I was hesitant to try it. I went today for the first time ever and gave them my unique drink order(thats what the guy called it lol) and it was actually very good! I wish they would of put a little more almond milk, but I understand why they didnt because with 8 shots you dont have much room. But for my pickiness I didnt think it was going to be as good as it is! My drink is perfectly balanced and well made! They even have a pay it forward to buy a coffee for someone. Lovely place and I will be going back very soon! Well done to the whole team!

Absolutely love the Greenbean! So many different drink options to choose from that are all good.. also love being able to order teas with so many options for added flavors. My favorite place to get a little more than just coffee

You can’t go wrong with a trip to the Greenbean. I’ve tried everything from a plain black coffee to their specialty drinks and honestly have yet to try something that I haven’t liked. The atmosphere inside is almost as good as the coffee itself. One time I went inside and there was a ukulele class playing songs. The only negative thing that I can think of is that the line at the drive through can be long at times, but good things come to those who wait.

Ive gotten into NYC night clubs faster than getting served here. It doesnt help that there is a drive through full of moms getting surgery drinks for their kids. Once I finally settled down to enjoy my long awaited beverage, it was just okay. Nothing to write home about but definitely worth a Google review.
