I hadnt been there for a LONG time. I WAS shocked at HOW much theyve down-sized & how theyve completely done away with A LOT of their collectible merchandise (which ALWAYS lured my son & me there--ESPECIALLY when it would get marked down!). They really changed everything around! They even down-sized quite A LOT of different book sections (like the graphic novels). It was okay, but DIDNT capture me like in years past.

I love Barnes & Nobles! I wasnt able to return books with a receipt since its been 9 months (hence why I was trying to return them.) I did finally give the cafe a shot. The upside-down pineapple 🍍 cheesecake was amazing! Its from the cheesecake factory.

Consistently the most reliable bookstore. They have books in the series that I like. If not they can order them though I havent t tried that yet. Soon as I land in a more permanent location I will become a member, the price is right. Reminds me of how much I enjoy reading.

Met with family members. Great place to met. Good food, best lines of books.

Its the only bookstore in town. What else can you say? Too many products that arent books or related to reading. Better prices and selection online.

Its a great store with a lot more than just books

I love love love this store, books are sometimes higher priced but have great variety of not only books but even journals, and run sales all the time, they had the exact book I wanted the last I went in there. My uncle and I love this store.

They dont have that many Funko pop figures any more.😭

This is probably one of my most favorite places. The staff is always nice, the store is always clean and I usually never have an issue finding what Im looking for.

It would be a great place to open a book store. I cant believe as big as that store is that there was NOT a single cookbook on how to make fresh pasta from flour and eggs. Plenty on how to make pasta dishes using already made pasta. Imagine with all the self help books they have not one on the art of making pasta, and different types.

I love Barnes and Noble. I especially love the warm welcoming look of the stores that have NOT been remodeled. What a huge mistake to think that a cold metallic remodel would draw your customers. I have been a loyal customer for 25 yrs. There is nothing that encourages me to visit my home B&N at Townecenter in Va Beach.....you ruined it

Great experience as always. The front display tables where they get the most traffic were spread out for social distancing. The checkout line was set up a little differently than the last time I was in, also in accordance with social distancing. No complaints, but when in the presence of books Im always happy.

Really great selection of books for pretty much every category. Board games, vinyl records. Very inviting atmosphere.

Starbucks in there has the best strawberries and cream 🍨 Drink

The experience at this location is always pleasant. The employees are very polite and helpful when you need them. Also, its nice to have a place to sit enjoy a coffee and a book or log into your laptop and get a little work done. It can get busy in the cafe at times, but I have never had to wait in line very long. Overall I do recommend it.

Stopped in for workbooks for my Grandson. Was pleasantly surprised that they were not as expensive as I was told. Purchased a writing, language arts, and math workbook along with a book of complete curriculum for 5th grade and spent less than 50$. I attached the curriculum book only because if you home school, this is a complete year and is priced lower than if you bought online.

This place has always amazed me. Displays are well placed, book collections are extensive and staff is always helpful. Has that library feel but mixed with the excitement of a theme park! Stop at the coffee shop and grab a drink and enjoy the books!

I’m not a book guy, last week I visited a book store for the first time that I can remember. Couldn’t have asked for a better first impression. Just walking into the store it made me want to start reading more and expand my knowledge on everything. Highly recommend! I picked up a book about making money and a daily guided journal.

We go here for all the best books: great selection for gifting and they also have planners, stationary, and more. There’s a Starbucks inside with some great drinks and snacks.

One of the best book sellers around. You can go there and read books off the shelves and drink Starbucks coffee.

Very limited selection of hard backed sifi. There is never all volumns of a series, usually the second, never the first! It has always been a disappointment to go there!

Our yearly membership ran out, yet the kindest woman(with the BEST sense of humor) checked us out and gave us the discount due to an on going error test continued on her screen. No matter the amount of times she had to ask for our phone number and how long ts line was growing, she was kind and helpful. After she was unsuccessful at renewing, she sent us to customer service, where we were greeted by yet another super sweet woman who not only helped us renew our membership, but explained how to use tree numbers for any further complications we might encounter due to having 2 separate accounts one expired and the one we tried to renew. Apart for having exactly what I was looking for to help teach science, history and classical reading to our homeschooled children, the staff never stops surprising me on how enjoyable a store could be. Thank you ladies again for outstanding customer service!

(waited 15 minutes). 😱h they could probably increase sales with proper staffing.

Fantastic selection without having to order on line but if by chance they dont have it they are more than happy to order it and have it shipped right to your door or to the store whichever you prefer. I love this place and cant get enough if it! Everything is well organized. They even have comfy chairs to sit in and read part of your books before you purchase them! Excellent book store! Theres also a mini-café there to get something to drink or a bite to eat!

I could get lost in this place for HOURS. So many options. No judgments from staff when you sit and read a little of a book to see if youd like it. Cafe is always buzzing. Great people always willing to help and answer questions.

Always a nice, clean, studious experience. The employees are always pleasant. The book selection is wide for the general public. The food is always good in the cafe area. The music is not too loud that you cant sit to enjoy a book or study. The games and other merchandise are somewhat overpriced which is why I only have it a 4/5.

This place is wonderful for those who like to read. You can also enjoy a hot coffee while you are there if you like

A little bit for everyone

New girl --- forgot to give me the lemon bar -- wanted it to go -- she packed it in a paper bag, she did not put it in a container for the way home. Computers to help find a book are gone. Have been hunting a book that online states it is available at the store but the last two times Ive been there no one has been at the customer service counter to ask for help unless you wait. Lately have noticed that the store has really gone downhill. I used to feel that this was my home away from home for a few hours but after the last two times Ive been there this week, I think I will stay home.

So good. So cozy. Has a Starbucks and every book ever. Also has a cute kids section. 100 percent recommend

I really enjoy coming here to grab a cup of coffee and browse some books or magazines. It would be nicer if they had more couches for peoplemto sit comfortably in the store. The couches are prime real estate, so if you see one open grab it if you plan on staying for awhile. This always made a nice date for my husband and I

The employees here are great and bend over backwards to help you.Recently I have discovered barns and Nobel corporate customer support is awful though. This store is great!

Phenomenal helping us find the books our son wanted

Typical run of the mill Barnes and Noble. Has a good selection and has the Starbucks inside as well. I wish there was more selection of some book types but for a brick and mortar book store they are wonderful.

They have a really wide selection of books, and a lot of things Im interested in. From card games to candles to socks to plushies, I can find myself lost in the store looking at everything. It feels nice and cozy, too. My only complaint is how much money I end up spending...but yes, that is a me problem.

Love this store. The staff is always helpful and friendly. My only problem is deciding which books i want to get in one visit. Theres so much to choose from.

Good place for the majority of books, book related, and e-readers. Thr staff is friendly and most of them are willing to help. Having a Starbucks inside is also a nice addition. I wish there were a few more selections in the Christian section for Bible covers and such.

Well not surprisingly they are fast tracking like every other store. The displays for the holidays are nice and they have some Christmas wrapping on sale already. They are pushing the membership card pretty hard and had a promotion tied with it.

With most book stores closing its good they still have a nice selection of books, cards, small book related gifts and the largest selection in the area of magazines. They also have a rather large section of vinyl records too... jazz, rock, pop and retro records rereleased of classic albums! Friendly staff. Also has the Starbucks cafe. Located near other shopping with plenty of parking at Logan Town. Would recommend.

I love reading but unfortunately my local bookstore isnt a good option for buying books. However one day a few weeks ago while shopping in Altoona PA I had the opportunity to stop here and purchase some books. This store is by far one of the most amazing stores Ive been too. Ive never seen a book store so large and with such a huge selection of books in my entire life. Almost any book you can think of, you can find it here. The prices arent too bad. Especially compared to other places Ive been to. They also have a cafe in the store where you can stop by to get refreshments and plenty of seating spots to enjoy your new books while you enjoy said refreshments. I am very impressed by this place and next time Im in Altoona I will be stopping here again.

The people who work here are great. I was in store, buying a book set, and the woman at the register told me if I order it online and pick it up in the store right then, Id get like $30 off. She didnt have to do that.

Layout is a little hard to navigate. It took me 20 minutes to find their card game selection for teens and young adults. The the selection looked like it was either super picked over or they just dont carry many. Still found a good gift for my cousin for her birthday. Maybe is the selection is a little better the next time I go in I will change the rating.
