I walked into this store looking for a new set of irons. George helped me find a complete set that was just right for me! He was very knowledgeable and took his time to make sure I got the right set. I will be back soon!

Diverse selection of golf equipment, they have a great putting green to test out putters on as well as accurate simulators for club demo and instruction. The customer service reps are awesome and very personable, it doesn’t feel like a Dick’s Sporting Goods where customer service can be hit or miss. The PGA Tour brand clothing line contains some great staples at great prices.

Just moved to the area, and as an avid golfer, I was looking for a Golf Store I could frequently visit. The selection was great, however, the service was horrendous! I was looking for a new golf bag, and not one of the 5 employees standing around offered any assistance. When I went to checkout, I had to wait while alll these employees could finish their conversation. When I finally was checking out, the employee asked ifI was a member. I said no. but he never asked if I wanted to Join Time to find another store to purchase my golf needs from or just go online

Great store to go in! There is a lot of great things to find and good deals. Little pricey here and there but its all good.

Got a new grip on my club in less than 10 minutes and was able to hit some practice shots with my one iron at their TaylorMade Bay while I was waiting!

The whole team is great and theyre always willing to work with you and be fair. Shout-out to Eric Reiher who helped me fix my falty equipment mess. He truly led by example. I appreciate you Eric, keep up the good work. 😊

I visit the PGA store at least 3 to 4 times a month .every one there are so nice and they make u feel like ur not a bother .they take the time to listen and answer any questions you might have. Anyone that enjoys golf should visit.

The store really does have a lot of good inventory. However the service is very spotty. Once I went in and received good service. But the last couple times Ive been in there service has been very bad. Multiple employees walked right by me without acknowledging me. One even stood right next to me and did not even nod at me. This definitely has a big box store feel and not the feel of a local golf shop. I might as well just order things online.

This place is great, a golfers dream! The staff is always very attentive and asking how youre doing. I went to swing some drivers and the gentleman working didnt try up sell me anything like that, theyre genuinely helpful and I appreciated it. My go to spot for everything golf

I will no longer be purchasing my golf equipment here. I cannot wear a mask. As my wife and I walked in the man behind the counter proceeded to yell at us from behind the counter advising we need to wear masks. So we walked out. If he would’ve been willing to have a conversation with me and understand why I can’t, it would have been a different story.

When my family and I first walked into the store we were greeted by an employee with a terrible attitude and almost caused us to turn around and leave. It seemed another employee observed how frustrated we were getting and stepped in. From that point on we had a great experience. My brother and I did a fitting and the employee who helped us was amazing! I wish I could remember his name but he was patient, passionate and very knowledgeable. If it wasnt for the initial interaction I would give the store a 5 star.

I asked someone for help with clubs. (I was hitting in one of the cages., and stayed there for a good 30 minutes.) I asked for a 9 degree driver, with a regular shaft. and was told No. we cant do that. Since when? Ive been in golf all my life. the advertising says, somthing like clubs to fit your swing Ive built clubs. All the components were in front of me. Left me kind of meh... Ill find someone wholl build my next set.

Everything you want for golf or tennis is there. No pressure salespersons, yet knowledgeable.

We were in here one day to purchase quite a few items to update my boyfriend’s clubs. I’m not sure if the workers didn’t take us seriously because we are younger looking or if they were just busy, but he was looking to test a driver and was planning on spending a good amount of money on that and a few other things. The ONLY time a store rep came up to us was to ask us to “wrap it up” because they had more people waiting outside. No one came up to us as we were testing clubs to see how were doing or to ask us if we had any questions. Very very poor customer service. While the selection at this store is very hard to compare, the store reps and customer service is just awful. So instead, we went to another place and made all of our purchases there. Incredibly rude Altamonte PGA Superstore, if you’re going to have high quality products, have high quality sales reps too.

All I have to say is the customer service is a zero... the most unfriendly people that I have seen in a long while. They act like they are doing you a favor by letting you purchase something, and God forbid that you have a question about an item. They seem to get very upset if they have to go out of their way for ANYTHING. This is not just one certain person, its the whole staff that I came in contact with, I bought a set of irons, over 1k and it seemed to just piss them off to go get them for me. Ill never return and wished I had went somewhere else.

Purchased new grips, re-gripping tape strips and vise insert. Happy with the price and service.

I bought a demo tennis racket couple of months ago and the strings on the racket broke after a week. When I called the store and told them what happened they did not charge me for stringing as long as I bought the strings at the store. They strung my racket at no cost but only a month later the string broke again. This was definitely due to poor quality of strings but when I told them what happened, Charles said to bring the racket and they will not charge me for stringing for the second time. This time I bought the most expensive strings and the racket feels great. The point of this story is not to try and take advantage of their generosity but to show others the differnce between average and great customer service. Thank you Charles and Liana!

Have had nothing but great experiences at this store. Brought a 4 year old club in for repair. Chris could have charged me for a new shaft and replaced it, but he volunteered to call TaylorMade and see what they would do. (Didn’t think to contact the manufacturer as I know the club is out of their warranty period)Chris called me to let me know TaylorMade would replace the shaft free of charge. He took care of shipping it to them and getting it back. He regripped it when it came back and called me to come pick it up (all within about 2 weeks, which was shorter than the timeline he quoted me when he shipped it out). On top of all this, he only charged me for the grip.They made me a customer for life with this experience! Thanks Chris!

Had a GREAT experience at the PGA Superstore in Altamonte! They were helpful from the get go and when I mentioned to Matt (the employee that helped me check out) that I had tried to go to golf galaxy first to redeem a coupon but couldnt find what I was looking for there he told me that they would honor it (had no idea they did that) and then he volunteered to take the stickers off my putter for me which nobody had ever done before. Also did I mention he did all of this as they were closing and got the stickers off for me after 9? A+ customer service!

If you ever need anything at this place, advice expecially, Joe is the person you need to see. Im new to golf and he made me feel comfortable and gave me a few personal pointers . definitely will be back

It is nice not to have to drive all the way to Sand Lake Road now through all of the I-4 construction. Time will tell if I like this one as much.

I just wanted to express what a great experience it was coming to the store in Altamonte Springs today. I drove an hour or more, and it was well worth the trip. I have been in the market for some new clubs for a while now, and its been extremely difficult to get that to happen! I visited Dicks Sporting Goods in Daytona 5 times from December through March and just could not get the time in a simulator or the attention and helpfulness from the staff that I needed. The first time I asked to demo some clubs the associate (at Dicks) actually said, umm..are you planning to buy anything when youre done?. I ended up going to a demo day at LPGA International and bought a new driver through that event. I also visited the Legacy golf store in Ormond Beach and sampled some clubs in their broken simulator (even bought a single Ping G400 Max iron to experiment with for a while) but couldnt get to something that I loved enough to fully swap out my old clubs. Working with Paige Rushton today at the PGA Tour Store was very productive, he listened to what I was telling him and we got right to work. I cannot understand why the staff at Dicks cant give customers the time-of-day like I got at the PGA store today. I walked out of there so excited about ordering a 5-AW set of TM P790s, I just cant stop thinking about it. It took some finagling to get to the exact right combination of shafts, and thankfully Paige was patient enough to sort through that with me. It makes all the difference.Us golfers, we want what we want, and we know weve got our quirks and hang-ups about our game - but give us the time we need and well spend twice what we planned to and walk out of there ecstatic about it!Thanks again, Ill only be doing my golf equipment buying with you guys from now on.

Fantastic help on all my questions in all departments

When I saw they were opening a brand new PGA Superstore in my area, I was excited. Although specialty sporting goods havent entirely been taken over by e-commerce sites yet, the choices have definitely been dwindling over the years. I have been in here a few times, and thought that the issues I had experienced were due to inexperienced staff and as time went on, these issues would soon be corrected.This weekend, however, took the cake, and Ive taken it upon myself to keep you fine folks from experiencing the same disservice that I did.Before I get down to the bad, I will give them one pro over the immense amount of cons: their selection is second to none, but that is about all they have going for them.Heres the set-up: I am currently in the market for a new set of irons, and possibly a new driver. Im tall, so I know i will have to have them custom-made but first a fitting would be in order. My Dad was at the house this weekend and we decided to go and check it out together. I had my eye on the Taylormade 790s as I had just played them in Orange County, CA and really liked how they felt. (TM 790s would have made for a great sale for anyone of the 15 employees they had on the clock when we came in, FYI).We arrived around 11:30 AM on 6/30/18, walked in, 4 employees behind the counter to our immediate right, not a single greeting. Granted, one was assisting a customer but the other 3 were not. Not a huge deal, but one would think that a simple Hey or Welcome would be commonplace in this day and age. We continue to the club wall, past the putting green, where three employees in blue shirts were casually putting and talking; still nothing. We walk down to the Taylormade wall, low and behold, we find the 790s and take a look. My Dad asked where the restroom was, I pointed him in the right direction, and continued to browse.PGA Superstore has a few simulator bays in the back of the store. One specifically labeled, Instruction and the others are typically fair game as with most golf stores. I walk down to the one that says Taylormade on it, mind you, walking past the three employees on the putting green, still nothing. I find the irons i would like to hit, all of them labeled DEMO, so naturally I help myself, though the simulator is not refreshed and currently has about 15 other ball trajectory paths displayed. At this point, I am standing, facing the front of the store, looking to make eye-contact with an employee as to bring him over to where I am.I make eye-contact with the three on the putting green. Nothing. I make eye contact with one loner who is walking the aisles. Aha, winner I thought. He walked over towards me, I turned back towards the screen as to explain what I am asking for. I turned around toward his direction and he had walked over to another customer! You have got to be kidding me! My dad comes back from the restroom. About 10 minutes have passed at this point. I am appalled at this point. Here i am, Mr. Customer, cash in hand, ready to buy a set of quite pricey sticks and I cant get a simple hi or hello.We hit into a sea of nothingness for about another 15 minutes and give up. I recalled a Golf Galaxy store right down the road and we decided to try our luck there. On our way out, we are finally approached by an employee. He says, Anything I can help you with,? I said, Well, I didnt think anyone was on the clock. I waited over there for nearly 30 minutes with a few questions, ready to buy a set of 790s and no one said a word, so well go somewhere else,. He says, Thats hard to believe,. No recovery, nothing.With the PGA name on the sign, I am not going to get people from shopping here. I know that. But I hope that someone at the store with Manager on their nametag reads this review and thinks to himself about possibly retraining his employees. This is simply the wrong way to go about customer service if you can even call it that.Needless to say, we got in the car, drove 10 minutes up the road, and spent $1,700 at Golf Galaxy: problem solved.
