Very helpful staff. They knew exactly what I was looking for... even though it wasnt on the shelf, they were able to get the part from the back room. Happy to help you, and knowledgeable about the part I was working on.

We were supposed to be headed home from vacation pulling our boat, when we damaged the tail light connection from the truck to the boat. We called and were told to bring it right in and theyd take care of us. They took it right away, fixed it better than new, and let us get on our way. They were very friendly and accommodating. A great experience all the way around.

We were on a trip and our microwave stopped working. We tested everything and it was suggested that we needed a new cord. We swung by this place, to buy a cord. Jimmy tested our cord, said it wasn’t that and brought us into the garage to take a peek. He was able to quickly fix it and it was cheaper than buying the cord. Awesome work! They saved our camping trip!

Very satisfied with all warranty work as well as all other work done on my fifth wheel. We purchased and had them install slide out toppers on our camper and we were very satisfied with the toppers and professional installation. I would highly recommend this dealership! I can not say enough good things about Sports Unlimited. My husband and I are new to camping and had an issue with our Jayco SLX hot water heater. They were able to assist us with cleaning the water heater pipes and getting it back up a running! While there they also helped us with our awning and furnace. They are a great place and when we are ready to upgrade our Jayco they are on the top of our list!

While camping in the area my rv toilet began leaking. Went in thinking I was going to spend hundreds on a toilet. Spoke to the workers and they suggested I try replacing the seals. The worker helped me with taking it apart and let me borrow their tools. Very helpful and kind!

Super great service very polite, kind and acted knowledgeable . I went there in surch of a new motorcycle helmet . I ended up leaving with two one for myself and one for my son... Unfortunately they were not motorcycle helmets unbeknownst to me these were snowmobile helmets with a bunch of extra insulation making them super hot to wear in the summertime.

Bought a used trailer recently but not brand they carried. Trouble with heater working. They fixed it while I waited. Although it took longer than expected because of rusted screws I was comfortable waiting having coffee and a couple snacks in their waiting area. Doreen and I had a nice chat about family stuff. Jim modified existing sail switch because they would have to order part and I was pressed for time. He was extremely patient and friendly. Job well done. By the way Jimmy had diagnosed the problem when I first talked to him on phone. This is a friendly family business and they know what they are doing. The price of the repair was fair and I would recommend these folks if you need a RV trailer repair or are considering a RV purchase.

The flush mechanism on our RV toilet broke. We called Sports Unlimited and told them about our problem. Within 30 minutes Jimmy came out to look at our broken toilet. Less than 2 hours later the toilet was repaired and the total cost was far less than expected. We really appreciated him going far beyond his normal service. They are very committed to community service.

Amazing service and super friendly. Being in retail service for almost 20 years now I understand what it takes to provide good service and what it means to take care of customers. Having an issue and breaking one of my awning arms with some rain we got one morning I searched all over northern Michigan and Jimmy and Unlimited Sports was the only one willing to help me. After checking inventory to make sure he had the correct arm for my camper that I rented from another company he called me back and let me know he had what I was looking for.After driving up to the store we were greeted with a friendly hello and what can we help you with today and it was just a couple minute wait until they wrapped up with one customer to take care of us. He was extremely helpful and even gave me a socket extender to make sure I could screw the new lag bolts into the new trailer. Everything went smooth taking the old arm off and placing the new one on.I was beyond thankful for the service that was provided to me at Unlimited Sports and if I ever need any type of work or in the market for an ATV or Camper I will be making a call to them! Thank you!

These folks are great. The lady at the Ace Hardware recommended them. We pulled in with a water leak in our RV on our way to Petoskey State Park with three of our grandkids. They diagnosed the problem and then fixed it on the spot. Best service ever. And super reasonable price.

The only place to buy a camper!! Doreen and Jimmy are fabulous!! They are very honest and extremely knowledgeable. We actually where just out window shopping for a future upgrade, little did we know we would be walking out with a brand new travel trailer the very next day. They treat everyone like family. Great business! We were in a bind, and desperately need repairs. Not only was everyone at Sports Unlimited pleasant, they went above & beyond. No more leaks, and even though they dont sell class C Rvs they fixed our seat problem AND cleaned the entire seating area! Have been trying to get that area clean since we began our trip. We will stop here first when we look to purchase or upgrade.

We recently purchased a used 4 wheeler from Jim and Doreen at SU. Not only was the price much better than the competition but Jim checked all the mechanical and operational functions and conditions of the 4W and explained everything about the vehicle to us including the special lubricants and service. Their customer focus is significantly above and beyond what I have experienced at other dealers.

Extremely friendly service! Spent as much as we needed with us, never felt rush or pushed into a decision. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

I would avoid this place and head south to Jays in Tawas. I had recently purchased a camper and needed a weight distribution hitch. They told me 500 over the phone and then charged me 700 when I got there. I ended up getting one from a friend and never used it so I returned it the next day and the sales man made me feel like I was putting him out for returning it.(probably gets commission) I ended up buying a 1800 dollar generator from them anyway.(much nicer then) I then found the next day that the converter was blowing fuses and not charging. They had replaced it for the original owner just a few months before I bought it. I called they said they couldnt even look at it for 2 weeks. I had already made plans so I called Jays. They had me come in the next business day. It took the tech at Jays 10 minutes to tell me the convert was faulty. The tech then called them and told them the converter wasnt working correctly. I was standing right next to the tech and could here the whole conversation. They guy from Sports unlimited proceeded to tell I had no warranty claim and began bad mouthing me to the guy. I am almost sure it was the same guy I had just bought the generator from, same weasely voice. The guy from Jays said he would send me there way because they had one in stock. I instead decided to just pick it up and have Jays install it,they said they could do it in two days and would only take a couple hours. The the part I hated the most was giving these people more of my money, but Iike I said I was in a hurry. When i picked it up I asked about the warranty on the new converter and she told me I had to contact the manufacturer my self. When I opened the paperwork that came with the converter it planely states that a certified dealer has to call and make the claim. Well thats my story, take anyway u like but I will never set foot in there again.

My husband and I have been stopping and looking at campers at SU for quite a while. Two years ago we bought a used tt at their Tawas location, it was missing a stabilizer jack. My husband stopped at SU and talked to Doreen, she said no problem and gave him a replacement jack.There has never been high pressure sales, Doreen has always been upfront, honest, and very helpful with us.A couple of weeks ago we went to look at a 2016 Jayco, it was gorgeous, so we went through the process, we were going to pick it up last Friday, on the way there I decided to find out how much more a month the 2019 twin would be; for a few dollars more, we have a brand new tt.The service department had the 2016 ready to go. After we decided to get the 2019 they worked through their lunch to get it ready for us to take home that day, so yes if you are looking for an RV or ATV I recommend SU!Thank you Doreen, Jim, and all the staff at Sports Unlimited in Alpena, MI.
