I just bought my first car here, it was a beautiful 2008 Mercedes E-Class. The price was incredible given the condition, model and mileage of the car! Michael was phenomenal with explaining (and reexplaining) the process as someone who was inexperienced and definitely not in my element. Given this, I still felt very comfortable and respected during the whole process. He even put up with incessant calls from my mother and ALL of her various concerns as well as coordinating with an outside inspector (who inevitably just echoed the information I was given from Michael). Honesty, comforting, lots of very good surprise in the form of sharing, eg the car I wanted, had a sticker price I liked and intended on paying,, Michael introduced himself, we agreed on the sticker price, he wrote the Bill, tax included, when I read the bill it was written $500. Less than sticker price, at first I thought I got over, I asked to use the rest room, at that moment I realized I didn’t get over, it was a fresh smelling, very clean and the holy bible, I realized. Weve been looking for a first car for our son for some time now, I found Reliable Auto Consultants through a google search. I am very glad I did as the guys were amazing! They are not like other used car dealers who like to blow smoke up your rear, they were honest down to earth guys. They didnt pressure me or anything. There was an issue with the car I liked and they had it taken care of right away. I went down today to complete the sale and of course traffic on 78 was crazy but they waited for me and made sure I was happy and that there wasnt anything else wrong or that I needed help with. I would definitely recommend them, not only for the honesty and professionalism but truly their prices are easy on the wallet and they arent out to break your bank.

BE CAREFUL!!! I just recently purchased a 2001 Lexus is300 for $5k as-is but was not made aware of some serious issues it has such as the rear differential is bad and both seals are leaking so bad in a week and a half it lost all differential fluid that i had put in, as well as i have not even had the car a month and the car stalled out yesterday (with both my kids in the car) and i had to have it towed to my house because it will not even start it turns over but soon as you push gas it dies i have tried to reach out to them about the issue and they refuse to try to resolve the issue seeings as even if you buy a car with a as-is contract by law they still need to inform you of all issues with the car and also by law selling a car that cant pass inspection/emissions (which it wont) or that has bad differential and not inform the buyer is illegal. The warranty you offered me DOES NOT COVER PRE-EXISTING ISSUES (I called and spoke to them (warranty company) before deciding if i wanted to pay for it and then them not fix it anyway, good rhing i called them.) I would have paid $1400 for a warranty that wouldnt have fixed any of the issues the car has.

This is an update of my previous review. If you buy a car here, make sure you take a mechanic with you to evaluate the vehicle you want to buy from here. I purchased an 07 Subaru Forester from here and it had far more issues than stated that really only presented themselves after I had purchased the car. Ive spent close to $2k fixing these issues that should have been caught. Its unfortunate that lemon laws dont apply to used cars typically, because that would certainly be an issue here.This car has had the following issues so far that I have rectified or am in the process of fixing:-Misfires at high RPM on the rear cylinders (3&4).So far Ive replaced the spark plugs, the wires, the coil pack and still have the issue. The next step is valve adjustment or a clogged catalytic converter. Very expensive to fix. Already at approximately $300 for the initial fixes. A new cat will set me back another $450. Insist on a highway road test to really put the car through its paces otherwise you may not find an issue like this later.-Struts needed replacedAll 4 struts had a lot of wear on them and clicked when going over bumps. All four struts were replaced and alignment was done for approximately $650-Front Brakes and Rotors were incredibly worn to the point where it was almost metal to metal. I was assured these were ok when I asked about them initially and that they passed inspection which they NEVER would.These were replaced for approximately $150UPDATED:-Needs new timing components, water pump, belt, tensioner, etc-Front passenger CV axle boot is cracked. Sprays grease, and needs replaced.Heres the worst one!They replaced the oil pan at the dealer because it had a leak when they initially purchased the car. The mechanic they used only put TWO QUARTS of oil in the car! If there was any less or if this engine was not well built, the engine would have blown in the first 30 minutes of me driving. This issue if I had not caught it would have caused me to need an entire new engine because it likely would have thrown a rod. A remanufactured engine for these is approximately $2k - half of what I paid for the vehicle. Id only get away with it cheaper if I was lucky enough to pull an engine from a wreck that was in tact.UPDATE: When they replaced the oil pan, they didnt seal it well with a new gasket and it still leaks!UPDATE: 7/10/19 - THE MISFIRE ISSUE HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED AND IT IS DUE TO A SPUN ROD BEARING. THIS ISSUE REQUIRES AN ENTIRE ENGINE REBUILD OR REPLACEMENT. RELIABLE SOLD ME A CAR WITH A FAILING ENGINE AND MADE IT WORSE WITH THEIR MECHANIC NOT FILLING UP THE OIL IN THE CAR CORRECTLY. THEIR MISTAKE IS NOW COSTING ME SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.What was done for me when I complained to Reliable: they sent me a check for $75. Thats it. They will not do anything for you beyond that even if the issue is their fault if you havent purchased a warranty (which nobody in their right mind expects to use in the first TWO WEEKS of vehicle ownership for major repairs).If you suspect anything is wrong with a vehicle you test drive here, insist on getting it inspected by a good mechanic if you are not experienced in auto work, otherwise dont buy it and make the same mistake I did.
