I was amazed at the variety of beer they carry!! Anyone should be able to find what they like. Good location and friendly staff. The owners are there most of the time. Definitely making another trip.

We stopped into this quiet beer store the other day. For the size, the store has a good variety of domestic and imported beers, ciders, and malt liquor-based alcoholic beverages. The owner was very personable and helpful. He seemed quite eager to engage with the customers as each checked out or asked questions.Unfortunately (not surprising for smaller stores in the industry), the pricing isnt too great. The prices arent bad, and theyre considerably less expensive than buying six-packs at convenience stores and restaurants, but you could do better on twelve-packs and cases (even with the case discount) at other local stores. You might not get the personal service, though.I recommend this store with some reservations.

My kiddo and I stopped by because he saw a sign that said that they had A-Treat. How could we pass by?! The people there were so friendly and yes, they had kiddos favorite flavor!

They are the only distributor in the area that carries Scheaffers (i am the only person on earth who cares about that. I know.) and the owner is awesome. The prices are good and the selection is good as well.

Wow, what a great place. Its big, clean, has everything you can think of, and the best prices that Ive found. . . my favorite place for beer!

Selection is decent. Owner is a pretentious ass that insists on using wasteful plastic bags to “prevent drinking while driving” even when requested not to.I went there for beer, not to be spoken down to and accused of things I do not do. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

So, heres the deal. I quit drinking a long time ago. I have a beer here and there, and thats about it. So, when I get beer, its kind of important because its something I share with important people in my life. Its a center piece of good conversation. Not to mention, I was there to get a beer that I shared with my grandfather, who passed away a few years back. Instead of going to Giant I decided to check this place out. Big mistake. By the way, this was my first time setting foot in this place.I have a long background in business management, customer service, sales, retail, etc. Ive been doing it since I was very young. So, when I go somewhere, I expect a certain level of service. Dont get me wrong, I understand that people have bad days, and I take some bad attitudes of working in retail, late hours on a Friday with a grain of salt. I understand, it can suck. However, the owner here is a total martyr and crossed a few lines you just dont cross in dealing with customers.I grabbed my beer and started walking to the register and he started telling me to take it around the desk to the register. I know, Ive been buying things my entire life and am pretty sure I can handle a beer purchase. Thats just how it started.5 seconds later, Im getting a 10 minute rant about how he, this owner, is stuck in a business that doesnt make him money. He said that in 2009, Obama ruined his life because the industry he worked in collapsed. The funny thing is, I have advanced education in policy/economics, so Im not sure who he thinks he was talking to. Throughout this conversation I just kind of stared blankly at him with a half smile of disbelief in what he was saying. Then he continued complaining because liberals were preventing him from selling liquor and wine. What? What exactly is going on in your head that you find it necessary or appropriate to talk to some random customer in this fashion?Blah blah blah, I only make 4% on beer and I cant make money and Im going to blame liberals. We wonder why there is such a divide in our country, this is why. It isnt a secret that PA liquor laws suck and it never has been. You chose to get into this business. So, he continues to tell me that Scott Wagner is a good man and he is going to open the free market and allow him to sell liquor and wine. First of all, there is no better place to invest our money than education, and Scott Wagner is hell bent on ruining the educational system in PA. So, exactly how is he a good person and who cares whether or not you believe him to be a good person? People with higher levels of education make more money over their lifetime. So, if you want to make more money, youre shooting yourself in the foot by voting for that abomination. Furthermore, I dont know you from a meth addict living in some podunk town there states away and dont give a damn about your opinion. I especially do not have any interest in this diatribe when Im just trying to get in and out so I can enjoy the 5 seconds of freedom I get twice a month (Im very busy). The moral of my story is this owner is a privileged white dude, who lost his lifes work and wants to blame everyone else but himself for all of his problems. I will never shop there again and I will make sure that everyone I know is aware of what he said to me. Ive already told a number of people in the local area, and I plan on telling more.Next time, just shut your mouth and do your damn job. If you dont like what youre doing, do something else. Dont hold your customers hostage by acting like a spoiled brat. Your life could be a hell of a lot worse. Be thankful for what you do have and stay in the moment. Ruminating in the past will bring you nothing but pain and suffering, buddy.I advise anyone who isnt interested in political conversation to avoid this guy like the plague. He will suck you in without instigating the conversation.
