The best group of guys in this shop EVER !! Anthony spent 2 hours helping us get a custom color and car was done when he said it would be. The guys that worked on it took personal ownership of this project and you can see the pride in the finished product. I will update with more pics once car is put back together with all her chrome. She is bright, flashy and smooth. Down to the last detail these guys have it together. Will now be using them for all of our classic car work. Thank you so much !!!!

Received quote from Daniel on 9/17 to repaint my Chrysler Sebring, minimal body work Quote was very fair and reasonable. Daniel was very professional and explained everything in detail. Followed up to schedule date and dropped the car off on 9/20. Daniel expected to complete the job in one week. The job was completed as scheduled. The results were outstanding! The Maaco team did outstanding job. I would highly recommend them.

This was our first time visiting Maaco. My partner and I scheduled an appointment at 2pm and arrived on time. The receptionist was pleasant and informed us that Anthony would be assisting us but is with a customer and would be with us shortly.We proceeded to wait for 30 minutes until he entered the office, sat on his desk, started talking to his co-worker, completely ignoring us. About 5 minutes later, without looking up he said that he would be able to answer any questions from the office without needing to look at the car. So we asked several questions. After he could no longer answer anymore without looking at the vehicle he asked to look at the car. All the while his face was clearly bothered/annoyed.He begins accessing the car. Trying to lighten to mood, my partner says “we got the car cheap”. His response “I hope so”, which I thought was completely uncalled for. Then he says that the car paint was chipped and if we were going to get the car ready for them first? We said, no this is why we are here for a proper evaluation. He states, in an annoyed manner, “it is going to expensive!”. No doubt he was assuming that money was a huge concern when the topic of money had not come up at all. He continued circling my small Kia Rio several times with intensity in his eyes. At this point it was uncomfortable and my partner asked if they were not capable of doing the job, it is ok, we can look elsewhere. Anthony responded firmly, Does the 70 cars around you give you an impression that we are incapable?. This was the last straw, we left.I would recommend not coming to Maaco solely due to the experience we had with Anthony. What could not be expressed easily was the uncomfortable feeling my partner and I had from his looks, gestures and tone of voice to us. It is very hard not to take this personal as his interactions with coworkers and the person he was assisting previously seemed to be fine. Was it because we are gay or Hispanic? I really do not know but all I can say is that the bitter taste in our mouths will not wash out quickly and we will never recommend this company to anyone.

The best auto body shop in Allentown, if not in Pennsylvania! As a new driver, I was afraid of how much my collision repair would cost me. Anthony sat down with me and went over all the parts, the labor, and options I had for my repair. He was so kind and genuine and you can truly tell he cares about his customers. He turned a projected $800 fix to a $159 repair, and I couldnt have been happier with the result! I would rate this place 10 stars if I could!

I originally left a poor review due to lack of communication (from Anthony) and it taking a week after scheduled date to get an estimate on getting my car painted. (Hence the reason for 4 stars). They just finished my 83 El Camino and it turned out GORGEOUS! They are great trustworthy people that will get the job done right. Just be patient if it’s a big job like mine was. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Anthony gave me my quote originally and he stuck to the quote pretty close other than some extra work he showed me that needed to be done. Very happy with the work from this Maaco! I started rebuilding this 240z from the ground up. I did all of the body work myself and decided to try to save some money and have Maaco spray the paint. They went out of their way to find the exact color i was looking for and had to get it special made. They went out of their way to make sure my Z was covered, and kept safe and clean. Overall im very happy with the work that was performed. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great shop. Fair estimate and they stuck to it. Was able to check on the progress regularly in their shop and talk to the body shop guy. 2004 Subaru WRX. I had a bunch of body work done on some rusty quarter panels and dog legs, fixed a very dented hood and did a paint and clear job. Would recommend again.

I was blown away with the quality and craftsmanship of my paint job I recieved on my Datsun pickup. The staff were courteous and friendly. The manager Anthony is a professional and his crew is top notch. They knocked it out of the park. Color matched perfectly and the shine was as beautiful as a tropical lake. I hear Maaco’s are hit and Miss. well this one HITS. They painted my 2005 350z convertible and it looks great! Went from silver to orange, just wow. Was about 1.5x longer than the time they had estimated but I was willing to wait. 0 overspray on the top and interior (so basically anything that matters). Will be taking any cars I need to have painted out of pocket there from here on. Just make sure all your badges are back on and installed when picking up lol they left my 350z trunk badges off and I didn’t notice until I got home lol

I went to this shop based on the reviews I read here and I must say, the reviews didnt steer me wrong. Pricing is the average cost depending on how big the paint job. My scratch wasnt huge. However, the color of my Jeep Renegade is extremely unique; must say I was terrified of having my car with two different shades. Yet, when I went to pick up, the car looked BRAND NEW...they also cleaned my car; I believe they even shined & polished it inside! Literally, my car got alot of love from the Allentown Maacco team!!! Customer service is 100%. Indeed, Anthony is a pleasant man who took his time to explain the details of the job and the pricing of each procedure. I had my doubt but these guys treated me well. A garage door hit my Lexus and left a deep scratch on the door and painted chrome. The dealer wanted $1600 to fix it because of the parts they needed to replace and they gave me some BS about replacing a part that didnt need to be replaced. I came to Maaco. Anthony was the gentleman who did my estimate. Right off the bat he knew it was going to be an expensive job and wanted to find a way to reduce the cost since I was paying out of pocket. We sat for a good 45 minutes running numbers and trying to figure out a way to fix it. We managed to find a way to get the broken chrome piece for about $100 as opposed to $1600 the dealer wanted. They wanted to avoid taking the emblem off to avoid another $500 to replace it if the sensor was damaged. After a lot phone calls Anthony was able to get the parts and we gave it a shot. They managed to fix the scratch, repair a separate ding and crack, replace the chrome, and do an exact color match of a unique Lexus color (Atomic Silver) for total of $556.63 - compared to the estimate the dealers gave me that was about $1800 total. The job was perfect, the color match was perfect, had the high gloss coat, and the sensor on the emblem was working perfectly. The mechanic, Orvis, I think his name was, said it was a beautiful car, and was funny because he actually got upset at me for damaging it. He said he was going to treat the car like it was his own. He was right.These guys were able to repair a brand new Lexus to make it look like when I first got it. I was more than happy with their customer service, their friendliness, the help, and their quality of work. I can see why theyre so busy.I would definitely go here again if needed (but hopefully I wont have to )

Great place and service.

Absolutely horrible. I would not recommend. Management would not honor warranty for faulty body work that cracked. They also didnt prepare the body by sanding. I have multiple areas where the paint didnt adhere and is coming off. The car looked better before it went in. I would suggest going to a real body shop. Pay the extra money.

We were on vacation from Florida and unfortunetly for into an accident on the way to skiing. The front fender, bumper and headlight had to be replaced and we only had a very small amount of time to get it repaired (2 days). Anthony worked for 3 hours trying to get us the best deal on parts and made sure that everything would come in time to complete the job. Maaco of Allentown has to be by far one of the most honest and best quality body shops I have ever been in. I highly recommend Anthonys shop and crew all of which are phenomenal.

I had my 2004 Mustang Convertible Painted there this spring. I liked that Anthony was willing to discuss many options, like which grade of paint would be right for my color, type, and age of car, and how much of the bodywork should I do myself. I even got great advice on how to get the decals off without marking up the existing paint, and how to prep the new bumpers. The car came out looking great, and the price I paid was the price we agreed to up front.

If youre looking for a fair price, great work and friendly and knowledgeable staff - this is your place! After having a run-in with a deer, my regular mechanic recommended these guys - specifically Tony. I was treated respectfully right off the bat. Tony helped me navigate through insurance claims assessing the damage and showed me step-by-step just what was being replaced and what it cost. He also alerted me before they started about extra internal damage they found, and worked quickly with the insurance company to make sure that was included in my claim. They let me know pricing up front, and had the car ready for me in a matter of days. It looked brand new again! Tony and his team turned what couldve been an extremely stressful situation into a very easy transaction. I hope I never need these guys again, but if I do have another collision someday, I will automatically rest a little easier knowing I have a shop that has my back and will get me through the process easily, fairly and at the best cost to me. I had a great experience with this Maaco. I had my daughters PT Cruiser, her first car, that had the clear coat peeling off all over and its high miles so I didnt want to spend a lot of money to get this painted. This was a project car for my daughter and me to make it the way she wanted. They were great helping us and quoting a good price i couldnt turn down. This place is terrible at communicating. When you have someone’s car for over a week & a half you call them and update them. That’s common sense. A simple phone call update would change a lot of people’s experience with this company. I don’t understand why I had to call more than once & then was told to pick up my car on a certain day at a certain time for it to not be ready.. quite unprofessional & frustrating if you ask me. Deliver on your words or at least update people if you’re uncertain. Never again will I service my car here.

I took my car here to get a bumper repaired. I was only home for a week so I needed them to complete the job in a few days. They told me they could do it, and despite receiving a faulty part, were able to get the car to me in the specified time. The car looked fantastic, and the price was less than other body shops in the area. The owner was very helpful and friendly. A family owned business to be sure. I highly recommend if you need quality, affordable service in a timely manner.

Went to Anthony and his maaco to have my car 1 matching color and I was told that it needs a lot of work to have a car Ill be satisfied with. I told him I just wanted to paint it and that was it. He ended up putting extra work into it. My car looks better than I needed it too. I would recommend this shop for its attention to detail and great customer service. Worth experience I ever had! with this location Maaco(Basin Rd).I got a strong impression all they good for- m get money out of insurance, and if some one has to pay out of his own pocket- this Maaco will make feel invisible.To start with- receptionist made me appointment for free estimate and I was there in time.Guy who should be doing estimating did not show up for good 10 min and then, when he came out to see my car, first question was who will pay,. When I did explain I will do it on my own- he went to office, and started do phone business on other car repair. I was staying by the door another 15 min with explanation when will be my estimating done . Then I just left . What a great service hah!! how can possibly trust those people if they make you feel small and non important even on my appointment scheduled time!!

Anthony is a professional guy who takes care of your cars body problem. My car had minor scratch and I was worried about the risk to have it repainted. But Anthony estimated it and we decided to just sand and polish to solve the issue. And it works!! Looks like nothing happened! Would definitely recommend it!
