I was in a car accident and Glenn and his body shop was the shining light in a dark tunnel. I called about a handful of shops off several review sites (Yelp, Angie’s List, Google, etc.) to try to get an assessment/quote for the damage. Almost all of them talked down to me, treated me like a child, or couldn’t get my car towed from the auto lot to their shop. Glenn was the only one who talked to me like an adult and offered MORE than enough help/resources with my car. He remained patient, kind, and understanding throughout this two-month ordeal. He assessed my car, gave me other options that didn’t include fixing it, and was VERY patient as I considered my options. Whenever I called, he picked up on the first ring. I once even emailed him after hours and wasn’t expecting an answer until sometime the next day, only to wake up around 5:30 AM and see a reply. The work he did was just amazing. When I pulled in the driveway and saw my car finished, my jaw dropped, and I couldn’t help but scream in excitement. My car looked AMAZING. It takes me about 20-25 minutes to get home from Angstadt, and the car had no problems whatsoever, even on 78. I was astonished with the results and the service. When I hopped in my car, the first thing I noticed was that he cleaned up on the inside. From dusting/vacuuming my car to picking up change and other items that were jostled around from the crash. I had leftover tape residue on my passenger side window, and even that was cleaned up.If you have the chance to use Glenn’s shop for any of his services, I highly suggest going to him. He’s kind, organized, and goes above and beyond to get the job done. For all the work I had done on my car, the price was fair (we had to get new parts, used wasn’t an option) and payment was easy. This was my first time having to get bodywork done on my car, and I’m so glad I went with Angstadt Auto Body. The quality of service and skill that Glenn has to offer made the price and time worth it.
They did an amazing job on our Kia Cadenza!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs to have their car fixed! Great service!
Great shop. Good communication and easy to work with. They did a great job of fixing hail damage on my truck. Highly recommend Glenn.
Glenn was absolutely amazing. This was the first time I needed a repair like this done and he was very professional. His work was amazing. My car looked better than when I purchased it! He had my car finished in a week and this was during the 4th of July holiday week. I would recommend him to everyone!
One of the best experiences Ive had with any garage!! Great work and customer service. No BS here. I recommend Angstadt for anyone who wants the job done right!!
The owner of the shop was fantastic really nice explain to me in detail doesnt Galaxy won the price with definitely recommend them
Excellent small job and quick turnaround. I crunched my daughters fender on the garage, and just wanted to make it right. These guys were reliable, very good and willing to work with me on a small job.
Excelente services
Great service and his work is remarkable. We have had three cars worked on by Glenn after collisions with deer. One car I wanted him to inspect after a out of state body shop did the repairs and I felt something was not right with the car. Glenn was able to find six mistakes made by the other dealership and repair them correctly and it was all handled by my insurance company.I highly recommend Angstadt Auto Service. They work with all Insurance companies.
Bring my 99 ford f150 work truck there, guy was making fun of my truck, i guess he only works with brand new vehicles. Nasty customer service.
Ive brought my car here a few times and was pleased each time. Very honest and trustworthy mechanic.
(Integrity)In my long relationship with working with mechanics, collision centers and auto body shops, some good others total rip-offs. So many in fact I can only remember a very select few. The truly outstanding and the totally unexceptional. Glenn Angstadt is in the former group. After my daughter was in a car accident she didn’t cause and was treated badly by the Allentown cops, the fraudulent towing company (Hauser Towing don’t use them), and her non responsive insurance company (Progressive), Glenn was the only bright spot. He treated her with respect, got the repairs done ahead of time and on budget. The car looks and drives like before the accident (the Scion IQ was really messed up in the accident, see photo below). Thanks Glen for being a standup guy at a time I really needed help. And if he helped me, he will help you because that’s the kind of guy he is, (Integrity).
Glenn at Angstadt was my trusted mechanic in Allentown. He replaced a broken passenger door mirror on my 2011 Kia Sorento when I accidentally busted it backing out of my garage. This was back in early spring of 2018. I believe I paid about $300 for parts, labor, and paint. Then I had another issue in May 2018 - my front driver side door refused to open one morning as I was going to work. It also did not close properly when I got out of the car. As my car was due for an oil change then, I took it to the dealership (they had a pretty good promotion for oil change + tire rotation + multi-point inspection) and had them look at the door latch at the same time. Their diagnosis was, the door latch assembly was broken and the entire unit needed to be replaced, with a cost of $250-280.I take all dealership recommendations with a grain of salt, especially since they always tell me I need extra service every time I hit some milestone (its a 2011 Kia Sorento with 55k miles on it, for goodness sake). I know most of their profits come from maintenance service. In fact, while I was still at Allentown Kia, I called Glenn up, who quoted me a lower number for the door latch assembly (about $200, I believe). I took the car to him later that day to have him check out the door latch, and after testing operation via the key fob, he immediately told me it would not need to be replaced. That would have been it (and no $ charged to me). However, as I was about to do a lot of traveling in that car (and was nervous about this issue suddenly coming up), I took him up on his offer to dismantle the car door and look at the internals. When I picked up the car later that day, the verdict was still the same: no replacement needed; he had greased the internal mechanisms to enhance door latch operation and that was it. He also suggested that changing weather/more humidity may have been the culprit for the stuck door latch. All in all, I paid $75 for the peace of mind and extra assurance, well worth it as it could have been $250-280 for a replacement and who knows what else the dealership would have come up with.In addition, I asked Glenn while I was at Angstadt about the additional maintenance service Allentown Kia claimed I needed and was told that my car was fine due to the relatively low mileage on it for its age. Again, more savings for me! If you get your car serviced by a dealership, I recommend always getting a second opinion on their recommendations. And if youre in the Allentown area, I definitely recommend having Glenn check the info from the dealership. Save yourself unnecessary repairs and $.
Great guy who does great work!!
