One of the most frustrating conversations Ive ever had over the phone. Two people including the owner, would never let me finish my sentence, continued to talk over me and still didnt understand what I was asking. Its really helpful when let your customer finish what they are saying in order to understand their need before you tell them you dont do it. They absolutely do what I need but cant stop interrupting and insulting me to figure it out.

We recently had Glass Contractors replace the glass in a 4 octagonal window. It took a bit of time to get the new glass in - they came out twice to measure. They have installed the new glass & I am VERY pleased with their service. They were quite thorough and conscientious when they installed the new glass. Id be happy to recommend them.

Absolutely love Glass Contractors! They installed a new shower door for me and it is gorgeous! Very professional and will definitely recommend and use them again!

So far, Ive had surfaces made for two large coffee tables, two nightstands, and the glass insert for a custom-sized frame. Every time, its turned out to be exactly the right size and I couldnt be happier with the quality. The nightstands I have are black, so they suggested that I choose a grey tint (which costs extra), and it turned out perfect!

My wife and I decided to renovate and update in the master bath in our home here in Allen during June and July of 2017. We did a complete decommission of the then existing bathroom. The general contractor for the renovation recommended a glass contractor from Wylie but I deferred to Glass Contractors here in Allen for the frame less glass and hardware. This decision on my part has turned out to be a huge mistake. The basis of my decision had to with the fact that I had used Glass Contractors several times over the years. My wife and I have been in Allen for 33 years. However, during the course of the frame less glass installation, I found their work to be sub standard with several defects. I had the firm to come back out In the third quarter of 2017 to completely realign the door (it was installed crooked) and one entire side of the shower glass. This rework was much improved over the initial install but it is still crooked and I decided to just leave it alone. In the first quarter of 2018, the lower hinge of the shower door started to make a popping sound. Glass Contractors sent out another installer (apparently the installer that had installed my glass originally had been dismissed due to quality issues) and he sprayed some WD 40 on the hinge and gave my wife an invoice for $160.00. When I got home from work that same day I checked the door and it still popped. I called Glass Contractors and told them that it was still popping and I ordered a new hinge. In fact I ordered two new hinges because the screws in the installed door hinge are Philips head and the new hinges are hex heads. I paid for the new hinges out of my pocket. Glass Contractors made no attempt to assist me in resolving this issue satisfactory other than charge me more money for service calls. The hinges still pop! In any event, the new hinges are $40.00 per hinge and it is going to cost me a few hundred to have someone come out and straiten the glass so it is square and install the new hinges.So keep my experience in mind while shopping for glass. My guess is there are far better options out there than paying premium prices for sloppy and defective work.

Had them make 4 glass selves for my grandfather clock curio that had gotten smashed by movers. They turned out great. Took longer than initially quoted but, it was due to a machine not working properly. I would use them again.

Contrary to a previous review, I found Gracie to be very nice to work with. I ordered an odd size of glass and it was cut perfectly, wrapped up very nicely, and ready on time. Gracie was pleasant and professional.

Glass Contractors was referred to myself and my husband by Dan, at Nortex Tile of Plano Texas.We had a shower pan replacement and Dan recommended Glass Contractorsand we could not be any happier.GC came out and measured for the frameless shower door, not once but several timesto make sure the door would be perfect.GC ordered the door, and when they had it delivered, there was some discrepancieswith the piece of the cut glass not being correct. They contacted the company they had cut the glass and had them remake the piece.This put a delay on the installation by almost 5 days.GC kept us informed as to the status and kept apologizing for the delay.Finally the replacement glass came in and the installation was today.The team of Tracy B. and David R. were very professional and did a terrific job.They took their time and did it with confidence and explained the process and left the area spotless.We would highly recommend Glass Contractors and when you call, ask for Gracie, we too had a very pleasant interaction with Gracie and she was a delight to work with.
