Good place with a great selection and knowledgeable staff. My wife found a broken Coach bag at a thrift store and we went to a bunch of places looking for the parts to fix it (Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joanns and several other craft stores). Came in here just to check and got what we needed within 5 mins.

Excellent and friendly staff. I come here to get items for my business but noticed some of the leathers are really old or not properly stored causing them to have deep creases and discoloration. Marketing signs are sometimes outdated and showing a price less than the current value of what it’s being sold at. Just wished the store would have similar inventory as online. 80% of the items I seen online and wanted, was not in store.

This is one of the smaller Tandys Ive been to in the metroplex. Their selection is slimmer than most and they seem to always be out of the item I went there for.

Made us stand outside in the 90° sun for 15 minutes. Did not even bother coming to the door to speak to us. I understand being cautious, but your capacity limitations are ridiculous. When we finally got to go in, the employees were rude for no reason and refused to let us both in even though were married, wearing masks and both vaccinated. We buy a lot of leather sides for projects, but youve lost a customer permanently for the worst customer service ever.

I’ve been a customer with Tandy for a long time. I’ve shopped at every store in DFW, even the closed ones. This store is top notch! I read reviews about “yelling at customers”. That doesn’t happen. I’m there multiple times a week and everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. I read a liars review that “They yelled at me without wearing a mask”. No they didn’t, those reviews are lies. They politely ask people to wear their mask to follow with the mandate. Don’t believe the fake news. This store is amazing and they have everything you need. It’s my favorite store in the area. Keep up the great job y’all!!!

Boy George behind the counter telling me I have to wear a mask even though Ive had my 2 shots in the past month. I wont be back till Tandy realizes their in Texas. Boy George, Seriously??????

They have a good selection and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I’ve been buying from Tandy since California, they usually have most of the things I need for my business (sometimes out of stock) and the employees are nice. This time there were some employees that didn’t even bother greeting us or asking if we need help with anything. In that case I’d rather stick to buying online.

If you found them rude and unhelpful. You probably gotta ask yourself how did you come across to the employees. I’ve been shopping at this location for over 2 years and wish they would open along with great staff and workstations they are very knowledgeable of the product they sell and the easiest and best way to get the results your hoping for

Yelling at disabled customers across the store about a mask being to low . Without a mask on your commie face will cause me to do my shopping online. Thanks for helping me save money and avoid Tandy leather from this day forward.

Some of the most rude disrespectful people to the handicapped. If you are disabled do not go here they will harass and belittle you!!!!!

Excellent assortment of supplies and wonderful customer service.

A nice surprise, now I dont have to travel all the way to FW to find an excellent selection with fully stocked shelves ( Ive been to other smaller locations where the assortment is very limited). The hides are nice and theres a lot to choose from, the staff seems to enjoy what they do and are really helpful and friendly. Great selection of consumables too. Of course the pricing can be prohibitive, especially on the tools - just have to watch the promotional flyer etc. There is a pay to play discount system that I think is there to make it easier on those doing resale, where volume is guaranteed for Tandy and the buyer gets sharper pricing. I think the music should be a bit louder.

Gonna say that we have to wear a mask in the store but employees are an exception to that rule. Nobody in the store had one on until we walked in. I even pulled out the governors executive order about asthma which I do have.

Staff is fantastic and always willing to help. Im in often and learn something new every time. Definitely worth stopping by and looking around. They stay well stocked and there are a lot of different options for many of their products. The store is always clean.

Im a newcomer to the Leathercraft world and the staff at this location was nothing but helpful. They were very honest with their product recommendations and didnt try to simply push the most expensive options on someone who doesnt know any better. Ill definitely be back.

Super for any leather projects including making knife sheaths or gun holsters/belts. No matter what your leather project needs - this is a brick-n-mortar shop that will serve you well and you really should support. Friendly staff and convenient location.
