Before coming to this shop I had stopped by 2 others to get help with installing my wiper blades that I purchased. I stopped at the shop behind them and the Firestone right across the street and no one acknowledged me after waiting a few minutes and there were workers that saw me enter. I honestly didn’t know this was separate from the carwash right next to them. I entered into Davidson’s and I was immediately greeted by Jeremy. I told him what I needed help with and without any hesitation he came out and installed my blades for me. He was so kind and very helpful and didn’t make me feel like I wasn’t welcomed. We all know how some shops make women feel but Jeremy didn’t me feel like that. He installed my blades in less than 2 minutes! I will be back for any repairs I need. Thank you Jeremy so much for being way above average and helping me in the cold and rain!! May God bless you and keep you. We need more people like you in this world!! 🤩😊

Blew a sparkplug out of my truck, and Davidson was able to get it in the shop and fixed before any other nearby location was able to even do a diagnostic. Very fair pricing too. Will definitely use them again.

I have brought my car to this shop multiple times after attempting to replace my water pump and thermostat on my own. Well, I ended up breaking two out of the three bolts off since they were single use aluminum and I tried to reuse them so only 1 bolt was holding up the water pump... I then brought my car here to see if they could remove the broken bolts and replace them correctly. They told me they thought the bolts could be cross threaded and didnt want to risk it. They said it was secure enough. Apparently, a coolant hose broke while they were taking a look at the water pump bolts and I was charged to replace it. Fine.Later on my car went into limp mode and my coolant level was low so I added water into my coolant reservoir in order to make the car drive-able. Thats when I noticed theyd broken off the float in the reservoir that lets you know when its full. Okay whatever, not that big of a deal, Ill just take it back. I get there and they tell me my water pump and thermostat need to be replaced again... Im thinking (no proof) that maybe the little plastic piece of the float went into the water pump and broke it. Not placing blame since I have no evidence whatsoever, just conjecture.Anyway, whatever, I pay them to replace both the water pump and thermostat. I asked them again to remove the broken bolts from the water pump and install it correctly while they have the pump off. They say okay, and first thing I ask when I pick my car up was if they were able to get the broken bolts out. They said yes. Well months later, Im working on my car and lo and behold, my water pump still only has 1 bolt holding it on with the other broken bolts still in there! And the worst part is, they charged me just as much labor for the thermostat as the water pump, and the two are literally connected, one bolts to the other... Its not any more work to replace one if youre already doing the other. Especially since they always suggest replacing both while youre already in there. Why is that exactly? Looks like its so they can charge you for labor TWICE. As a paying customer, that just makes me feel like I should wait until both parts break in order to get my moneys worth since my thermostat didnt NEED replacing anyway...Not looking for them to reach out to right their wrong. Im done doing business with them.

Just got some work done on my car here, and they did an excellent job at a very reasonable price, they showed me all the issues and codes my car had so I understood what I was paying for. Also friendly and very helpful staff. My go to if any of my cars have any problems.

We have been taking our cars to them for years and everytime they are professional, knowledgeable, reliable. They have made it so we can get the most out of our cars. I recently had to replace the alternator on my car and they had me back in my car same day. I didnt have to get a rental. They told me of an issue, which my husband expected, but also said it wasnt something that had to be done right away. I appreciate their honesty and not trying to make a buck, but rather a customer. We had it fixed though and still had my car same day. Great place to take your cars.

I picked Davidson Car Care for my duct cleaning because of their fair prices and no upsells. They offered one simple package - duct and furnace cleaning. No per unit pricing.They got my ducts clean promptly with no issues. I highly recommend.

I moved to town in 2016 and began bringing my cars there for minor things. Jeremy and his staff are personable and competitive in pricing and time estimates. They’ve helped me out of some jams. I got turned off a little after they replaced my tire and the lug nuts were loose.

Our AC stopped working in our Expedition. I tried everything (blower motor, resistor, fuses) and came to the conclusion that it was electrical and took it here. They had it for 5 days troubleshooting the problem and called me each day giving me updates. They finally found it was the acuator. Fixed it and was very reasonable price considering all the troubleshooting they had to do to fix it. Weve taken out cars here on more than one occasion and find that they do a good job at a fair price.

Ive used them twice now. Both times they were quick, reasonably priced, and fixed right the first time! Not to mention, polite and friendly. I will use them again.

Had an alignment done, walked in to pick it up and pay and the guy threw me the keys and said drive it and see if youre ok with what we did before I paid. Its hard to find that kind of service these days.

Absolutely honest! I went to several shops telling me I had all these problems when I never noticed any problems. I went to Davidson’s and I told them the problems I was told I had by other shops and we agreed on a price less than half of the lowest offer by one of the other shops. What was even better was that they found that half of the supposed problems didn’t exist and the others were minor. They charged me only quarter of the original costs and got great work done on my truck. They had the chance to rob me blind and they didn’t.

My boyfriend and I went here after we hit a big construction cone. A piece above our tire was hanging off and it was making it unsafe to drive. We were able to pull over to this place and were greeted so nicely and they quickly assisted us. They pulled the piece off free of charge, and gave us advice on what to do going forward! We are broke college students so that was truly a blessing! They weren’t being pushy trying to make us buy any extra service, and didn’t make us feel like we were taking up any time! Thank you guys so much!

I am very pleased with my experience at Davidson Car Care. I visited three other shops today to have my older truck inspected and none of them could help me (due to not having the equipment for testing emissions on older vehicles). Needless to say, my hopes were not very high as I arrived at Davidson.To my pleasure, the employees at Davidson Car Care were top notch. Out of the four places I visited, Davison Car Care was the only one to notice that my truck did not even need its emissions tested but that it just needed a safety inspection (saving me time and money).The employees there quickly took care of inspecting my truck (It passed) and got me back on the road.I would highly recommend Davidson Car Care.

Ever since the owner Davidsons sold this place to the people next door this place went down hill.I dont get why they get five stars.When they break something theyll use zip ties to put it back together.And none of their mechanics are mechanics, they are oil change guys. no one there is certified only the state inspector and thats cause you have to be certified to do inspection.If you really think this people are qualified, youre wrong, thats why you never see the same faces in the shop. they get five stars from people they know, its not rocket science.

Took my car into Davidsons for numerous problems. I was kept informed about the status of the car and received an explanation of the process that it was going to take to repair it. They absolutely managed my expectations by keeping me informed and by treating me fairly. The best car care experience I have ever had.

Not knowing what to expect, I pulled into this shop to get an estimate for an issue my Expedition was having. I had been given a couple other estimates by some other local shops lets just say the other quotes were for over $1k. I left Davidson today with a full coolant flush and my problem fixed for less than $100. Guys were awesome, curtious and honest! They will have my business anytime I need a mechanic!

I have an older model car that I want to keep going, so I have had a lot of repairs and services performed at Davidson Car Care over the last two years (roughly around $10000 in total transactions). Most of the service was performed correctly the first time (some required zip ties and cable clamping on subsequent visits), but it takes a long time to get services performed, so it is easier to leave the vehicle and and come back many hours later. Today, I went there because I was overdue for an oil change and I was attempting to get there early (they open at 8 AM and I got there before 9 AM; the parking lot was full, with one man was in the waiting room). When I told the attending person that I needed an oil change, he asked me if I were dropping off or staying (for context, during the last oil change, I dropped off my vehicle and it took 3 hours, but today I could not do that). I indicated that I would be staying, he said that it would take an hour and a half. Thinking about the thousands of dollars that I spent there and the thought of sitting in the waiting room for 90 minutes for an oil change, I responded that I would just change the oil myself. I walked out and as I was halfway to my vehicle, he came out and bellowed something. I walked back and he said that they could fit me in and I would only have to wait for 45 minutes. Ive already paid my fair share to this company, I am no longer spending my money there.

I was hesitant to write this review, the employees were helpful and kind but the quality of service and the respect for my vehicle were below any other shop I have visited.First off my truck was a work truck but is now my daily driver. IT is not a nice truck but its what I have.I brought my truck in for several small things, an inspection, an oil change and the drivers side door that would not open. They were able to get the door open and replace the broken part.Though when I got the car back the seats were covered in grease dust, the kind you get from working on cars all day, not wet grease but still not ok. My seats are not in perfect condition by any means but I am not sure that means I should be ok with a mess in my truck after paying over $500 at the shop.Also the rubber seal in the door rolled up along the window when I tried to roll the window down. This was a brand new issue, a result from the work they had done.I brought this to the managers attention and they offered to fix the problem for free and clean the seats.The window seal they messed up is now super glued in place with a fair amount of excess glue on the door panel. The proper fix would have been to replace the rubber seal they messed up.I also realized the head light they said they replaced still does not work and somehow that passed inspection.Lastly the seats they cleaned are only marginally better than they were and they missed the head rest that had grease all over it. I get it this is relatively a small problem but its basic mechanic etiquette to not get grease in someones car regardless of its current condition.So having given them a chance to resolve several problems they created they failed on almost each account. I have full faith mechanically they know what they are doing but quality of work and the caliber of the work is in question. Nice guys but they did not respect my vehicle.

Took my 25yo vehicle in for state safety inspection. At first they told me they couldnt inspect my vehicle because they didnt know the cut-off age for treadmill test. Then they failed my inspection due to a minor leak in the power steering return hose (hose was wet). It wasnt a true fail since they didnt bill me for the visit -- they just didnt want my (easy) business.After checking with TX DOT website, I took vehicle elsewhere where it passed with flying colors.

Fantastic Service!! I went to a few other places before I found this gem through the BBB. They managed to find and fix a few problems my Jeep was having when no one else could. They didnt charge me an arm or a leg either. They also let me know about some issues that might pose a problem in the future, how the Jeep would act when the repairs would have to be made, and the cost of the repair. I came to Davidson Car Care in need of some immediate services for one of my fleet vehicles.1. Inspection in order to get current registration2. Clogged Evaporator core making the AC blow at a lower speed making it uncomfortable for my employees during these hot summer days in Texas.The office guys were great to deal with, I was treated like family here and no time was wasted addressing my issues and getting me back on the road. The techs in the back shop were definitely industry professionals with product knowledge, which can be rare to find these days. I cant tell you how many bad experiences Ive had with techs learning on my vehicle on MY dime....not here.I highly recommend theses guys for several reasons. Professionalism, efficiency and standing behind their product. I can empathize with this business model so am appreciative when I get the same service in return.Keep up the good work guys!

Not the same store since it was sold a few years ago. They “fixed” the car but not to manufacture specs. It runs but the repair needed to be corrected later. They did correct their mistake but insisted the original “fix” was good enough. We won’t be returning.

Starter went out on my daughters truck after 6,000 miles. Warranty had expired as it was for 1yr or 12,000 miles, whichever first and the work was done 8/17/2013. It cost $535. When I went to pick it up today Doug (the manager) informed me we owed NOTHING as he felt it must have been faulty. He didnt even charge us for labor!! What a pleasant surprise, made my day for sure!! We will be back. Thank you.

Davidson is a cost effective repair shop friendly to your wallet!My Dodge Grand Caravan had the brake light on and a sliding door that wouldnt lock. The dealership charged me $180 to tell me that it would cost me $3000 to fix the door, a leaking brake master cylinder, and an unknown issue of replacing my power steering gear. I have Davidson check it out and they dont find a leak, just low fluid. They replaced the fluids of power steering and brakes and the light goes away instead of $1200! Also, they were able to fix the lock on the sliding door for a couple of hundred $ instead of $1800!They literally saved me thousands of unnecessary $. I wrote this a couple of months after the work and everything is working fine. I will use them again.

God knows the damage they caused. Took wifes car in for oil change several months ago. As soon as I left I could tell something was wrong. When I turned onto Greenville the car started smoking like all hell, and began jerking, chugging, tugging, etc. I immediately returned and shut the engine off. I told the guys inside what happened. Turns out (they admitted) that they overfilled the engine. At first I didnt know if that was that big a deal but I heard that since the car smoked so badly, oil got through the engine rings, which is NOT good. I called the manager, or owner, named David, a day or two after and I politely explained what happened and that I wanted him to cover the cost for me to take the car to Mazda to check for any damage. First thing out of his mouth was I didnt hear about this. (Should tell you something about this place by itself!) Then, Ill pay for a basic machine engine diagnostic but THATS IT. I couldnt believe the balls of this guy. He was lucky I wasnt immediately suing the business for damage to my engine. He ought to gladly pay for all engine checks/diagnostics and any dimunition in value caused to my cars engine. That business was negligent, not me. Boycott this place for your own good.

After going to several shops around the area I finally ended up at Davidsons, the service I received was second to none. They found out what was wrong with my car and fixed it in a matter of no time and when I didnt have someone to come and get me from the shop they took me home and picked me back up.

Took my friends car here for a short. They spent 3 days and didnt look at his car. The last day they finally got to it and said the short was his belts slipping. I demanded the vehicle back and i spent a whole day looking for this short and found a break in his ground wire to his battery.
