Nice little shop but all there animals are all over priced. They have a lot to look at and the workers are very nice. The shop is in a very small location and parking lot. The only bad thing is that the animals are expensive. I went there looking for a puppy but they didnt have any. So maybe Ill have to go back sometime. But I would recommend this store.

This place was neat! Fish looked healthy and water/aquariums looked well maintained. They even had an alligator and several large boas.

Looks like a couple stoners with no knowledge of animal care needs or empathy for animals decided to start the worst pet store I have ever seen. I wanted to cry leaving there. I bought a animal and consider it a rescue but at the same time I hate that I gave this place any money. I literally want to cry after seeing the condition of these animals. I’ve been to many pet stores and all were responsible unlike this one. Too packed of cages, animals were visibly stressed, some didn’t have proper heat source, some lights looks like grow lights, there largest Iguana has bugs crawling on him, one other iguana is being housed with a beardie which need different humidity. This place knows nothing about how to care for animals.

Ive heard people complain about critters before but Ive always had good experiences with them. The animals there are treated extremely well, Ive bought a dog and cat from there before the dog had no problem acclimating to the new home and the cat was extremely sweet and not skittish at all, he took to his new home within a day. The people who work here are great people and the owner really loves animals. I completely support critters and its owner.

This place need to be shut down. Call yourself a pet shop but house 2 very different species together. Who ever runs this place is a complete nut case

08.09.20 update -Superb pet store... they literally have everything here. I have never seen a pet shop that has an Alligator for sale. Cannot think of anything that is left out.Always a good place to get your giant clown knives and big parrot fishes. I have got multiple turtles from here also.Guys there are super friendly!! The owner Mike is also great to deal with.Got a giant Oscar on 11.23.20.They have the biggest Peacock Bass fish that I have ever seen.A pet shop that sells Scorpions - that says how exotic they are... superb shop

A lot of places sell exotic pets, But then its hard to find the equipment and special food requirements you need for them. This place has it all. Dont forget to say hi to their big girl albino boa in the back!

Friendly staff open to answering questions I witnessed other guests asking. Very thin isles so social distancing is quite hard especially when a lot of customers visit. cages seemed well looked after and in no way neglected. Witnessed employees cleaning while we waited for our purchase. Prices were equivalent or lower then similar mom and pop pet shops we have visited. Will absolutely be back.

I personally think this store is great.It’s amusing to me people have left 1 star reviews based on animals being in cages. Here are the people shopping for caged animals as if they are not cruel. Is it inhumane to own a pet? It’s not a zoo folks let’s be for real. It’s temporary housing for live animals that are being sold to people, who probably own even smaller cages at home.The store has a wide selection of animals. It is a very interesting place to walk around.

Pretty sure the shops name Critters comes from the unwanted critters you end up bringing home (i.e. parasites such as these fish lice I found on a fish I purchased from this shop.) I mean, buy from here if you want, but I can guarantee you that NONE of those fish or animals are healthy.

This place is simply outstanding the variety of fish and some animals is amazing theyre fresh and salt water setups are second to none the knowledge of everyone in there is second to none the price is fair some things are a little high but overall I would say youre getting what you pay for and that goes in my opinion with anything you buy a $20 pair of shoes guess what a month later theyre falling apart you buy a $200 pair of shoes 3 years later you still got them and they still look good its the same thing with anything with fish especially salt water and they dont sell junk there theyve got everything you need to start a brand new saltwater tank fresh water tank rabbit guinea pig lizard the place is fantastic I dont have any bad words to say and thats hard to say nowadays and I try to be honest and fair with all my reviews but these guys deserve five stars and its not a very big place but it is packed to the roof shoulder to shoulder with people no matter what time of day you go in there and everyone in there is kind and well knowledge like I said the only thing is some things are a little on the high end but they are quality you get what you pay for and Im a testament to its my saltwater tank is flourishing rapidly theyre surprised how fast it took off and its often their knowledge Im a starter or a noob as the youngsters call it

Been going here for YEARS! my absolute favorite place to be. When I was younger this shop is what I got excited for! I got my bearded dragon from here and he is now 8 years old and living life good. I get my food supply for my dragon from here and Im never disappointed. Great prices! Also I got my turtles from here too theyre about 4 years old now. I get feeder fish from here and it all works out good. They have an AMAZING selection of tank backgrounds! Like so many good ones. Love this shop. I will always support this local pet shop!

It feels very different inside the Critter Pet Shop, like walking into a cave of wonders. They have a variety of pets to consider although I’ve never seen any dogs or cats. They do have lots of fish. I found them to be very knowledgeable. You could bring your kids here for the experience, however, you might leave with a new family member.

The entire staff the are very perfessional and very well respected and loved. Every time I go I say honey Im home, thats because Im there 3-4 times a week. Sometimes 2 times a day. I have never had a problem with anyone there. Rick and Mike I enjoy doing business with you and the family

Me and my family got a rabbit from here in late 2020, he’s the light of our lives and is one of the best pets we’ve ever had. The issue arises when we were in the process of buying him, we were told the completely wrong things about a rabbits diet, no employee had a mask on, and the rabbits themselves were shoved in a small cage together. Almost every small animal was shoved in a tiny, dark cage and looking back it makes me feel like we rescued our little bunny rather than buy him. They take no precautions on who they are selling to and it really doesn’t feel like they care for the animals. The impression they gave was less “come adopt a new family member!” And more “find an animal and buy it”. I genuinely feel bad for the animals in this establishment and hope at least that some of them do actually go to good homes.

Critters is by far my favorite pet shop. I’ve been visiting since I was a kid — The variety of animals is incredible and the staff is always so friendly and ready to help. I’ve gotten rats that grew to be the most loving pets you’ll ever witness and we are back almost every week to get more fish and visit the locals (Wally the alligator, the snake, huge old fish in the back) and my favorite puffer fish. I will always choose the Critters experience over the big chain pet stores.

I went to get two turtles and they where the Best caring pet shop I have ever seen

Ive had tropical fish for over 50 years bought two picasimus temp replace one in my 75 gallon tank this tank has been operating for years with no problem after adding the two fish from this location and unfortunately the water they came in my tank immediately started getting disease and I lost 8 fish three of which have been in there for years .. I was told that the fish I bought are Guarantee for one day... Im sure that could be true but who am I to argue with the people in the store in the middle of the day Ill say more but well let that go... so you know how that went... if you buy from here please quarantine the fish you buy from them to save your buddies ... The ones that are already in the tank.... and honestly 24-hour warranty is one thing but the fish causing the death of eight of your little buddies in your tank is totally another especially my tinfoil Barbs

I have purchased everything from pets for my petting zoo and educational animal show, to food, treats, and different cages and enclosures!!! I’m VERY careful from who I buy from bcause I won’t add to backyard breeding!!! Mike and his staff are AMAZING, knowledgeable, and will go OUT OF THEIR WAY to help customers, including referring u to specialists who can help a specific animal who may be sick or injured even if it DIDNT come from him!!! You can tell that this is truly a passion of his and I’m beyond thankful for having his store and his amazing animals. The store is ALWAYS clean, and pets are ALWAYS well taken care of!!!! Thank you Mike and the WHOLE critters crew!!!!

They are great local small mom and pop shop, they always have awesome pets, meal worms crickets and horn worms for a good price cant beat it !

At least they have live feeder mice. Hard to find around town! They usually get their feeder mice stock on Fridays after 4. Clean shop and nice people. Parking lot can be on jam sometimes, but thats not their fault. Theres a reason their shop is always full, they do good work!

Its very small in size. I went to purchase a parakeet nice selections and Lady, most knowledgeable and helpful. She very courteous. I would have given 4 stars but they had a Large casement of mice ( crazy afraid of them). I will recommend them.

Love this store. I started shopping here probably 15 years ago when I first started my aquariums. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff with great sense of humor which makes the shopping experience that much better. I just bought 2 new tanks and in the process of getting them all setup and found myself doing a lot of shopping every day. I have no complaints

Do not go to this shop if easily disturbed. all the animals are in terrible living conditions, the parakeets were actually dying. there was one on the ground dying with a bunch of his feathers ripped out, i told an employee that one was dying and he just picked it up and put it in the back room where it REEKS of weed. you cannot smoke weed or anything around birds, the rest of the budgies were hanging by their beaks from respiratory stress. there are giant fish in super tiny tanks they can barely swim in. to be honest, the only enclosures that looked about the right size in THE WHOLE STORE were the small fish. please don’t go here, it’s disgusting and made me almost cry. also there’s 2 employees that don’t wear masks... not even pulled down or anything just no mask. i will be trying to contact someone to report this store, please do not spend your money here or support them in any way.

I went to my to clown loaches and when I got home there was one dead random fish in my one of my clown much is bag that I find that very unsanitary and very unprofessional other than that the store was great

This little pet shop is underrated! Fish, turtles, birds & exotic caged creatures can all be found here. They have accessories galore in this place as well as medicines and toys. Their prices are also dollars LESS than the bigger chains. The staff are knowledgeable and often share their own experiences if you go in seeking advise. Its a cool place.

Critters is the place to go if you want honest real people to do business with. They are experts with what they do. They have everything from goldfish and bearded dragons to kittens. They will not lie to you to make a sale. Their business is based on return customers and once you have shopped there, you will be a returning customer. If you have never been there, it is your loss.

Very crowded. They need a new location with more space its crazy cramped in there. Especially during these times. my roommate has had 3 lizards he purchased from there die not to long after they were purchased. And the conditions of the tank were perfect the whole time of owning them.

I absolutely love this place! Their entire crew was extremely helpful and knowledgeable!!! They make you feel truly at home! The wife and I literally only went to get accessories for our rabbit and ended up leaving with an green iguana! I was literally begged to be helped!
