So we went inside and met the man.He helped us decide on a good mattress between our two different preferred sleeping styles. Patrick was not pushy, and he was kind in a genuine way. Shannon decided to see if I’d be approved before we went any further. During the application process, he asked aggressive questions that made me feel as if I were entering a debate opposed to a business deal.I won’t pinpoint every gruesome detail of this application process but I felt disrespected and judged. He practically announced to the entire store that I was not approved. I somewhat laughed it off. I asked him if Mattress Firm did 90 days same as cash. Because at this point I was willing to pay a third of the mattress off just to get this over with and purchase a mattress. Any additional customer that once was, now seized to exist including my friend who exited the business and went to wait in the car. She described the encounter as horrid. Before we continued this never ending ordeal.. Shannon held my debit card in the air and commanded my full attention then stated that I must realize that if this goes through.. six-hundred and something dollars WILL be charged to this card TODAY. I let him know that I was not worried about the money any longer I just need a mattress and I’m willing to pay six hundred and something dollars in 3 increments just to end this situation. I left Mattress Firm in Allen Park totally unsatisfied with its customer service.

I wasn’t planning on purchasing anything today, was just in the market for a new bed in the near future and wanted to see what was comfortable. Patrick was very welcoming and helpful. He made my wife and I feel very comfortable and treated us like people rather than a sale. He had us try out some beds and even after we found the one we wanted, he had us try a few more just to be sure. We ended up buying the Purple 4 and expect to get it delivered in the next few days. We went in to just begin our mattress search, with no plans of purchasing immediately. We walked out happy with our decision to buy that day! Our salesperson was Jared H. and he was terrific! Not pushy and he didnt have the typical salesperson shtick, which we truly appreciated. We never felt pressured, in fact it was exactly the opposite. He went through what I would call a mattress fitting, to be sure we were trying/getting what we needed, while always keeping our budget in mind. I went to mattress firm not looking to buy a bed that day. immediately as i walked into the door i was welcomed by Patrick. He asked what i was looking for and i said a bed in the box. I wasn’t sure about the firmness i needed, So he had me on a few beds and step back to see how i looked on the bed. He first showed me a soft bed and knew it wasn’t for me. I had Kyle Simmons as my sales associate and he was very kind, respectful, and very thorough when explaining the different types of mattresses and price points (I’m working with a budget here). I was even able to finance the king bed I really wanted for the price of a queen bed, you can’t beat that! I’m waiting on the delivery of the bed to get to my house but I can already tell I’m gonna love it!! Will definitely be recommending this place!

I went into the store for the first time on Wednesday (pressed for time) to inquire about mattress pricing and different financing options available. I thought I knew what I wanted before I even walked through the door. Today, I went back in (with more time on my hands) to lay on the different mattresses to get fitted for the right one for me. To my surprise, the best feeling mattress wasnt the one I thought I wanted (Tempur Pedic). Patrick, my sales rep, did an excellent job. Patrick the sales guy treated you great when you are a potential customer. But once you make a purchase and experience issues- BEWARE!! Their customer service is practically non-existent. The only customer service number on their website does not let you to talk to any one for retail purchases (just hangs up on you). Chat service also doesnt service retail purchases. Sales guy promises to have the manager call, but no one calls.Delivery guys did not wear booties when they trample in and out of your home and one of the delivery guys took his mask off as soon as he entered the house and never put it back on. Hello Covid!! So if you are high risk like me, expect to put yourself in quarantine after delivery and hope you didnt catch Covid. No one has called me even after I called and sent multiple emails. Shop elsewhere for your own sanity. First and last time they have my business.

I had seen a lot of advertising on social media networks and decided to give it a try at the local store to see what beds they had and what deal’s I could find. I went to the Allen Park location and was promptly greeted and helped with any questions I had. (Which were plenty) the associate Ray was above and beyond answering my questions, he took the time to show me different sets that I could possibly like. The end result was I found a nice set and cannot wait to have it delivered. I would definitely recommend both family and friends to shop here.
