Every time I have gone there with my son they always give him a ballon and today Vicky and the manager were awesome! One of the balloons I bought from Amazon had a hole in it and Vicky said it was ok to pick out one of their balloons in replacement and she blew it up since I already paid for the helium!! Awesome customer service!!
Idk if it was because it was Halloween season, but this place was extremely messy, really hard to find anything, didnt see any prices on items, and nothing was in its own place. We waited in line what felt like forever, as the register line went all the way to the last aisle, with only 2 registers open!!! I was not able to get the help i needed from the store employees as they looked and sounded highly overwhelmed. None of them was able to help me, as they kept saying they dont know where things were but they were supposed to be (the items) on the shelves.

I would like to give more stars because I know the store had a heavy load of orders on this particular visit, however that doesn’t excuse the fact I had to come to this location 3 times on the date of pickup and the date of my event based on this stores errors of not giving me my whole order at pickup and then not spelling out the birthday balloon letters appropriately. Which was very embarrassing and time consuming! With no apology or compensation for these issues. Needless to say I’m not looking forward to doing business with this location again any time soon! My last order was placed with another location with no issues or concerns!

Employees were moving slowly and let someone cut in front of a line that was about 15 deep which wasn’t moving at all. The lady who cut took her balloons out to her car and came back inside and grabbed something off the shelf and they let her cut in front of the whole line AGAIN.

We walked in to only 3 garbage filled carts. The sanitizing stations where empty. The floors and candy bins where dirty and filled with open empty wrappers. The floors looked liked they have not been swept or mopped in weeks. The staff were unfriendly. We will not visit this store again.
Love this Party City!! It is a fun place to shop at for all ages!! Party City has a wide range of themed party supplies, customs and holiday decorations. Items for baby and bridal shower as well as graduations, birthdays, and Halloween 🎃 preparation are available in the store! I always find what I’m looking for. The items are well stocked and organized, the place is neat. The employees are very helpful! Prices are a bit pricey!! But good quality party supplies are available at this store. I will definitely return!
Party City always has what I need. Never an issue. But even when there is a problem, Party City has one of the best customer service departments Ive ever dealt with. Friendly, efficient, fixed the issue and went way above and beyond. Customer for life! ✌🏻

Waited in line for 20 minutes to blow up my balloons that I already paid for at party city the day before. I was told they are not taking anymore balloon fill ups. No sign at the door or warning before I wasted 20 minutes in line. I was told to go find the manager and talk to her. She was not in a good mood probably because it was so busy but she made it known that I was a big inconvenience and I would get no assistance from her to fix my problem. Contacted party city about my problem when this happened and have not heard anything back. I will do everything in my power to never shop at this over priced party store ever again. Will be spreading the word of inconsistency and let downs from party City.
Great place to find Halloweens item. Always have a coupon on their website. Staff are very friendly.
Went for its a boy bubble gum cigars. Then I also grabbed its a boy chocolate cigars and its a boy candy bars. They had more to choose from than I had imagined.
A lot of nice things here. Costumes, more during Halloween but a good selection any other time, party items, cake boxes, cards, balloons... I get a lot of party ideas here. Last minute is usually when I go here since I shop online a lot but its the first place I go when Im short on time.
Very Helpful and Friendly Staff they were a little busy could use more help up front maybe the managers should get on that.. and maybe show the staff more love on breaks and lunches (over heard staff talking)other than that I’ll keep coming back

I visited the store tonight and I have never seen such poor customer service! I walked in the store and saw two employees, neither greeted me. I proceeded to look for graduation decorations for my daughters graduation party. I asked the young man (thin tall guy) if the colors of the decorations represented the students school. He was so rude and said what you mean, they just give us the colors and we put them up. He does not like his job!!! The whole time hes pulling and throwing things on the shelves, like hes disgusted with being at work. There was another young lady (with pink hair). She was similar to the other guy but not a bad. Neither of them smiled or looked like they was grateful to have a job. I was going to leave the store with the items in the basket, but Im glad I didnt. When I got ready to check out there was one glimmer of hope (Anthony). He was a very shy guy but kind and helpful and answered my questions as if he actually cared. I thanked him for being so kind and nice. He smiled as if he was shocked about my comment. I told him that I take customer service seriously and he said thank you. If the other two employees are representations of what Party City is all about, they are a poor representation of your brand!!!!! They need customer service training and sensitivity. I work for the city of Detroit and I pride myself on excellent customer service skills. I realize and I want other to realize that customer service is not a department, is a attitude!!!! I have to pick up balloons next Saturday for my daughters party and sad to say, I pray that I dont get either of them at the cash register!!! This is disheartening!! I love going down the party bag favors aisle. I cant go in this store without gabbing a few very inexpensive toys and candy for my kids. Couple bucks no matter what! Keeps my 3 year old happy with a 50 cent ball and 40 cent trumpet!

I always find what I’m looking for, I even found good stuff for gender reveal, never order ballons on line other than party city, it will cost you way more. I bought the very big ballon for gender reveal from target online for $26; and I inflated it at party city, while all together from the actual balloon + helium cost $6 at party city
Everything in the store is straight and ready to help but I wish they would have bigger sizes for all the kids costumes. For some reason a lot of them stop at medium.
Worst service ever!!! They need to do balloons separately from each transaction as I waited in line for over 20 minutes with only 4 people in front of me in line, but about 8 behind me. They have no idea how to do transaction in a timely manner! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!

I was shopping for a gender reveal party. The gender reveal party selection of the store is very limited! Not many non-gender specific items for baby shower either. What was available was a bit pricey. I did find lots of good deals in the clearance bins!

I had placed an order for balloons one day prior online and paid online. Online it said my order would be ready 2 hours before the time I need them which was 6:00 pm. The next day (Sunday) I walk into Party City at 5:35 pm (keep in mind they close at 6:00 pm) and I go to the cashier and Nancy had no idea what I was talking about. They didn’t start the order or even know about it. I have never met anyone so rude and cruel. She got loud with me and said “do you want them or not??? I don’t got time for this.” She explained that the balloon order wasn’t supposed to be ready until 6:00 pm but the store closes at 6:00 pm. If I had walked in to pick up my order of balloons at 5:59 Pm they would of never been ready either. I believe it’s time for Nancy to be either fired or time to retire. When you walk into a party store, you want to be in a good mood but when you see Nancy’s old grumpy face and rude demeanor, your mood changes. I’ll never come back to this party city ever again. Poor management. I’ll take my money somewhere else.

The only good thing about this location was the sweet cashier April who was so kind and helpful and patient with me, but other than that if I could give this store no stars I would! The manager was totally rude!! So, let me start out that I bought my sons halloween costume at the Madison Heights location. Turns out that it was a size too small, so I asked them after leaving the store and realizing the size, if they had a bigger size. They said no but directed me to a store that did. A half hour away from me, but I didnt care. I then realize I misplaced the receipt so I called Madison Heights and asked them if my receipt could still be pulled up. She stated with my phone number, yes. Allen Park said that was false. So, with the manager on my phone from Madison Heights, and talking to the Allen Park manager, I asked them why it couldnt be pulled up because madison heights said it could. The Allen Park manager very snotty looked at me and said because we cant pull up receipts from other stores and walked away from me!! The Madison Heights manager was so kind to text me my receipt and I was able to simply EXCHANGE my purchase, but the rude tone was completely unnecessary!!
Went to Party City for Halloween, couldnt find anything in the childrens section that was available. Walked toward the exit door, found the perfect costume sitting on the shelf. Thanks Party City, see you next event

Always my go to party store. Sadly days before the super bowl they ran low on helium. (Was informed all locations had same problem) Which meant no balloons could be filled. We had a baby shower and the helium on hand had to be used to fill more Super Bowl balloons. A lot of customers were upset. Luckly someone else in out party, bought a tank. Not well planned.

Ordered online to pick up a Halloween costume... I was told there were 6 in the store. I placed my order and was given confirmation that the items were to be picked up in Allen Park. I live in Brighton so this is almost an hour drive. I get there... wow, this place is very horribly run. Total chaos of the lines, people in the store trying to sell me magazines for their schools (this was just weird to me) and then I was told that their systems are down and not only do they not have the items, but that I should have received a cancellation (which I didnt). Okay... so things happen. I was mad but this could be dealt with. What I DIDNT LIKE, was the manager wouldnt even come talk to me about it (Andrea with short black hair and a huge attitude). She watched as her employee went back and forth between her and I to ask her questions. She never bothered to come chat w/ me herself which is just ridiculous. The balloons you were pretending to be busy with were a distraction; you must have confused me with someone less intelligent. Andrea needs some managerial training stat. I left apologizing to the employee for having to deal with a manager like that when in fact she should have been dealing with me. JOKE of a store.

Need more selection and better staff
Had a horrible experience while shopping at this location. My fiance and I were both ignored at the register, there were 3 people working behind the register and only 1 person was doing the ringing up. The other 2 were pretending to be busy so that they didnt have to assist us. There were 2 Caucasian women waiting at the register as well, they were getting all of the attention and assistance. When I asked one of the women working behind the register a question, she avoided eye contact, and made a face like she didnt understand what it was that I was asking her. We will NEVER shop at this location EVER again, and will tell others not to as well. This has to be the most racist Party City location that I have ever been to.
This is the worst party city I have ever been too! I went in on a early Saturday morning there were only 2 employees, both which were very rude. Horrible customer service. Very small store.If you need to go I highly suggest the Taylor store. I will never go back to this one.
