This place is a total rip-off. The food here is totally overpriced! A decorative Halloween cookie went from $2.25 to $6.25. For a little cookie! I suggest going to other bakeries. I know there are better ones than this place. Look at the pictures, nothing special.

The best yeast donuts yet!!! So soft and chewy, not overly sweet. Very creative donuts, love the strawberry and custard cro-nut so much! Great seasonal selections too!

This bakery is the best in the area! I don’t agree with the negative comments made here. Their prices are on point, if not better than other bakeries in the area and absolutely better than all of the Farmers Market bakeries. The big difference is the quality and quantity of Aliso Bakery’s products. Their artisanal French baguette rivals any French Bakery and their apple fritters are the best I have ever eaten anywhere. During this pandemic, they have been working hard to keep surfaces clean and wiped constantly. The bakery also sells tamales on weekends that are to die for! Come to Aliso Bakery to try it out for yourself.

My favorite small business! My favorites are the number 2 burrito (bacon egg, potatoes, cheese) their glazed donuts and their FRESH SQUEEZED OJ 😊! HUBBY LIKES their pumpkin muffin and their coffee 🍩☕🍳🥚🥓

I do not agree with the negative reviews about high prices or rude service. The staff turns out consistently good product day after day, week after week, and in the many years I have buying from them the staff is polite and helpful. Sometimes you have to wait in line as this is a popular spot. This is not Duncan Donuts where everything is prepackaged and made from a corporate mix. These women work hard from crack of dawn every day. My husband is an ex-baker. By definition, making donuts and homemade cookies that are hand decorated is labor intensive. And their weekend tamales are amazing (also labor intensive). We also have seen a wonderful Italian restaurant leave this center due to obscenely high rent increases last year. This little shop is has the same landlord and must charge to cover their costs. And hopefully still make a living wage. I am sick to death of snotty, rude customers who seem to make a profession out of complaining. Its pretty simple. If you want a locally owned shop or restaurant to stay in your neighborhood, you have to shop there. They have great stuff! Be patient if there is a line, and maybe actually meet and chat with a new neighbor while you are waiting. Be kind to someone today. Maybe buy them an old fashioned buttermilk donut.

I’ve been to this bakery a number of times and the last 3 times I’ve been I was very put off by how unprofessional one of the two morning shift staff members (who appear to be sisters) was with customers. For the high prices they charge, I would like to think they would be professional and courteous to their customers, but this clearly has not been the case. My experience during my last visit was the last straw for me. If this place wants repeat customers and good referrals they ought to hire friendly people who who don’t act as if they hate their jobs and could care less about their customers. I’ve always liked their donuts, but there are a handful of other bakeries that have just as good food, but with lower prices and a and much better customer experience. I will not be giving Aliso Bakery & Donuts any more of my business.

Im addicted to the pastries here. I try not to eat the cakes because they are just as addictive but I need my pastries no matter what. I love it here and the staff is nice and they are always bringing new products. I Ive only ordered Custom Cakes a few times but they were spot on each and every time.

Excellent donuts with nice selection and a few specialties. Cakes are beautiful but a little dry. I purchased an of the shelf strawberry cake and it was vanilla with vanilla frosting. Frosting is not too greasy or too sweet. Very efficient place.

We hosted a Sunday Brunch. I went online to find Donut Holes. Everyone at the Brunch loved the donut holes. So many varieties and all delicious. We will definitely be returning for donuts. Next time we will try the bakery goods. So happy to discover this place.

Best place for anything bakery related. They did my wedding cake. Not something you go just anywhere for. Donut creations are crazy good. Take the kids and you wont be disappointed

This is by far my absolute favorite donut shop! They have something for everyone from French croissants to Mexican cookies. Everything is simple but creatively made. It may look like a little hole in the wall in a strip mall but the staff is incredibly friendly and the baked goods are delicious. In my opinion its a real hidden gem in Aliso Viejo.

This is the best place to get your cakes and donuts! I ordered my daughters Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake and showed them a picture of how we wanted the cake and they did such an amazing job! The cake was exactly how we wanted and it was delicious because it wasnt too sweet nor dry it had the perfect touch. I will definitely be ordering more cakes in the future.

Every time I go here the donuts get better and better, I dont know how theyre going to top it next time. Theyve expanded their menu and have so many fun and creative items, without losing an ounce of quality.

Very friendly staff that always has a smile on their face when I come in. Our daughter loves to come here and always enjoys their creative donuts (especially the unicorn ones)

It’s a great place they have really good bread and donuts, me and my coworkers like to buy bread from there every Friday, I love getting the “torta de frijol” I got a torta this Friday like usual however when I was about to eat my torta I came to the surprise that it was really burn I was so disappointed cause I’m sure the girl notice she burn it and still gave it to me like that without me realizing until I got to my job :(

Pretty good donuts, try out the jelly filled donut holes. Maple bacon donuts are my favorite but for some reason this place has weird tasting maple glaze.

Best Birthday Cake in OC. Had my daughters 2nd B day and the cake was cute and delicious. Had another bakery before for here first Bday a princess cake place pretty but tasted like chemicals. But Aliso Bakery is both beautiful and good tasting. Everyone at my daughters party wanted to know where I got the cake.

Food isnt amazing, but not horrible either. Staff is friendly and nice and prices are fair enough.

Great donuts and donuts. All homemade. Nothing to do with Starbucks, much better quality and much cheaper prices. Give it a try.
