Yum, yum, yum! Everything was delicious 😋 favorite was the queso flamondo, we got the pork and added veggies. Watermelon salad was so refreshing and we added grilled shrimp to side, yum! The only down side was that they didnt bus the finished plates. I hate a dirty table at the end of dinning. Definitely recommend this place for wonderful food, ambiance and service was pretty good till the end.

I’ve only been here a few days in Dallas and ended up at Vidorra unexpectedly. The bartenders that we’re working on the second floor the whole night this past Thursday amazing services . The music amazing. between all the drinks and a few edibles I took . They took very great care of me. Being solo and new to the state great service. Thank you for a great night. Sorry, wasnt impressed with this place. My friends took me here for my birthday and they werent fans either. My friend sent her food back, it wasnt the meat she had asked for and it was cold. The barrel nachos were just okay. Basically, the ambiance is cool but dont come here hungry. The one thing that saved it were my patron bottled margaritas. I felt great after having 2 of the bottles 😆

Its the atmosphere and drinks for me! The Street fries are OK! I gave them 2 stars because I didnt appreciate them trying to trick us by bringing the same meat that was burned! Thats why we sent it back in the first place. Not to mention, the meat was top of the line the first time. The 3rd time (once they REALLY made it over) they bought it out, the shrimp, chicken, and steak were way smaller than the original entrée. Was really disappointed by that, but it is what it is! Ive given them a couple of chances and the food just doesnt do it for me. The bowls they use are way too hot and you have to eat your food really fast or it burns up. The tamales were bland. I didnt like the Verde sauce on them and the brisket was not seasoned enough to me. Again, great spot for drinks and to socialize!

I came here for my cousin’s 23rd birthday on a tuesday and this place is such a great vibe for celebrations! the music they play will constantly have you in groove mode which i love. the complimentary chips & salsa are so flavorful & the drinks are great! i forgot to take a photo of mine but it was the so fresh, so clean. tasted great. the tacos are pretty good too. i’d definitely come back here just off the vibes alone to drink and have a good time!

Met a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and it definitely was a good choice! The customer service was amazing from the host to waitstaff and we didn’t experience any issues on that part.I ordered a “so fresha, so clean” for my first drink and it was so delicious that I made it my second! I also tried the “gold digger” and the mango was very refreshing. The table also had shots to celebrate that went down easy! For food, I order “the good guac” and it was filling and flavorful. As my main, I ordered the “barrelled nachos” and added chicken minus the chili con queso (just regular queso) and it was HUGE! I definitely wasn’t able to eat all of it but it was delicious! For desert, I choose the “churros” and while I tend to like these they were a little hard and we didn’t finish them.Overall, I would come back to try out other drinks and entrees as we had an amazing time!

Came here for the first time to celebrate my moms birthday and service was amazing. We had reservations and we were able to sit down fast. Food tasted delicious and they had many options to choose from. Ava did an amazing job serving all 10 of us. It does get very crowded and can get very hot inside. But overall was a great experience. Definitely recommend coming here.

Delicious food, awesome Dallas vibe and view. The downstairs courtyard type patio was beautiful but we choose to go to the rooftop to enjoy our lunch and cocktails. I had the La Sancha, well I had two! So yummy 😋 Jessica was a fun and attentive bartender.

Great place for drinks !! Just your average place for a night out with friends! Average price for liquor. Food is not all that great and over priced. I will tell you though that their chips and salsa were delicious!! Honestly would just come back for the bar ! This is the downtown Dallas location so traffic is a little hectic on weekends.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon so it was really busy but was lucky enough to find seats at the bar upstairs. The atmosphere and vibe was amazing and I really enjoyed the food that I got—chipotle garlic shrimp tacos and cheesecake chimichangas. The drinks weren’t strong and I wish the tacos came with 3 instead of 2 🙃 but I’d love to come back whenever in town.

The only problem at this place is that they need a better way to get people there are 2 lines one for the ones to go upstairs and the other for the restaurant, but its not true employees dont know how to control itIt took us one hour to come inside. So these margaritas are huge and somewhat pricey. This was around $57 plus the mango flavor / syrup or whatever they called it. Great concept but there was barely any alcohol in it. I guess for the size having less alcohol is safer for patrons and less costly for them. All in all great environment. Will try the food next time.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner to celebrate Fathers Day and my birthday. We arrived at 930pm without reservations and we were sat immediately. The margaritas were amazing! We had a taco salad and the birria tacos and everything was good. Definitely coming back... I also got free champagne for my birthday!

Normally I love this place but today I had a bad experience..from the moment I walked in the entire vibe was different..the hostess ignored our request to sit in the area of choice..she and other employees were involved in their own conversations instead of giving us good customer service ..our waitress wasn’t happy that we needed to make a quick change to our order..she made a face expression of disgust which made us feel very uncomfortable as well as being really short with us ..I ordered shrimp fajitas in which I was served 6 shrimp for 4 fajitas wraps..there were only onions with one red pepper served as well..normally it’s a mixture..overall I’m not happy with how the evening went especially after bragging to my date how friendly the service was as well as the food

Okay, I’ve heard a lot about this restaurant and I finally got a chance to experience it. The drink was great can’t remember the name however it had strawberries 🍓 in it. The food was okay, my enchiladas were lukewarm and it didn’t have any flavor just blah… the bowl was pretty good, didn’t like that the cheese kept burning while in the bowl… My homegirl ordered flautas and again, no flavor just blah.

Such a good place to have a great time with friends. We had great food & great drinks. They have so many drinks to choose from and our waiter was more than happy to answer all our questions, even though he had not tried any of the drinks we asked for, they were good. They have a patio area which is closed of but beautifully decorated great for picture taking. Everything was beautifully presented and even though they were super busy on a Wednesday night everything came out at a reasonable time. The food tasted delicious I can’t remember the name of everything but let me tell you it was great. I had the burrito which was your typical bean & meat filled tortilla smothered in cheese which was simple yet tasty. The molcajete I want to call it had cheese at the bottom topped with this green salsa that wasn’t to spicy but still gave it a great touch. The fajitas were tender and just melted in your mouth. Defiantly recommend this place when you’re in Dallas. Parking is a bit tough because their isn’t direct parking to this place but there is parking lots which you have to pay for & might have to walk a bit to get to this place but def worth it.

I finally got around to making it over to this restaurant after I had heard about it as being a poppin spot in Deep Ellum. Ive mostly avoided it because parking ANYWHERE in Deep Ellum sucks. For anyone coming to the restaurant, there is a parking lot right next to the restaurant, but be prepared to pay for the convenience of not having to drive up and down the street trying to find a spot to parallel park. So you know the details and can plan accordingly, it was $7.57 to park in the lot for 2 hours. When it comes to the restaurant, it was nice and big. They initially sat us in the covered inside patio if that makes sense. It has fans and misters I believe but it was just entirely too hot - especially after being outside for most of the day already. We moved inside and the service was VERY slow. It was a bit annoying having to wait so long for our server to get around to us when all the other servers were just goofing off and standing around. When it comes to the food and drinks, it certainly was delicious though. Both salsas they serve were very good (the salsa verde and salsa roja) and decently spicy (not too much for those of us who like to breathe fire though)! We each had a cocktail - the Chismoso and the La Dulce Caliente. They were both well-made drinks. We then had the Baja Fish Tacos and the Veggie Enchiladas. The tacos were very good as well as the rice and refried black beans (my favorite!) but the star was my enchiladas. I thought they were just going to stuff it with spinach which is listed on the menu, but they also put zucchini and squash, onions and peppers, as well as the spinach and tomatoes. These were by far the best veggie enchiladas Ive ever had! Im not sure Id come here again because I hate the parking and the service was very lackluster, but I just might do takeout!

I will most definitely be speaking with a manager as soon as they open!!! I ordered a fajita Salad with extra grilled onions and pepper with shredded chicken with guacamole appetizer. I got 2 heads of lettuce 1 dressing no guacamole at all and a side of shredded chicken and fajita chicken on top of the lettuce no extra grilled onions or pepper which I was charged $5 for. This mess they gave me is unacceptable. Im not eating this mess at all so I can show the manager what their kitchen is throwing together!!!Update***I went back to vidorra to allow them to fix the error and Im glad I did. Manager Steven is awesome!!!! He got my order redone and made sure everything was good before I left also added some queso and extra stuff!! Great job 👏 👍 on changing a 1 star to a 5 star experience!!

We sat upstairs, it had a great atmosphere. The service was a little bit slow, but they were busy so we just relaxed and enjoyed the music. The food was excellent, presentation was very unique, and it came out quickly. I will return to try some of the other items I saw going to other tables. We had the sirloin burrito, the queso, and the Verde molcajete. Very good.

We didnt use the plates, and cleaned the glasses ourselves.I understand a resturant gets busy, but one must maintain its composure and cleanliness.The food wasnt anything to write home about. The 3 baby barirria tacos I ordered was a surprise!! The Spanish rice was bland, no taste, and on the menu (Borracho Beans - Pinto beans, onions, garlic, beer simmered peppers $3.00), these came with pork in them! No where on the menu does it say pork!It just wasnt a good experience, but the chips and salsa was good. 😊Not sure if Id go back!! This is my opinion, thank you!#eaton

This is a very comfortable and stylish setup. Ive the lush greenery. Chilaquiles and enchiladas were great. I need to try the queso next time. Drink were good, delicate fruit flavors and perfect slushiness on frozen margrita. I will be returning.

We were here for the New Year’s Eve. Loved the selections of music, good vibes and of course the food was finger licking good. The dessert was bummer but the main course was amazing.Our Tomato Dip with nachos was unbeatable and the green dip was kinda sour. Fried Avocados were one of the best I ever had, the sauce on my veggie enchiladas was yummy.The service was good. The reason behind their crew masking up is to prevent the spread. My server masked up but he was removing his mask while he was interacting with us. This made us feel unsafe and the vital reason behind them masking up wasn’t effective enough.

I came here for lunch on a Friday. And its Deep Ellum so expect it to be impossible to find a parking spot. Luckily I found a spot across the street just 2 min across from Vidorra and I paid $7.57 for 2 hours. For my meal, I ordered the grilled shrimp cobb salad and street fries (not pictured below). The salad was good! The street fries were SUPER hot when they arrived so make sure to give it a few minutes if you order them. Service was a little slow. My friends and I sat in the patio which was huge and had plenty of seating and proper covering. I will note that it was a little annoying when a bee or fly comes in through the openings though. Id come back to try more on the menu but I highly recommend taking a Lyft or Uber.

We called vidorra on 11/03/21 at 5pm and asked if we have to make a Reservation to go. A young lady said “No you don’t you just walk in” we asked if there’s a waiting list or something we have to see or reserve before going she said no. So we go that same day and get their by 8pm. Some man in a white shirt with black and a host with All black WERE ABSOLUTELY RUDE. They told us that we had to make reservations “Days prior” to when we go. I told them we called and asked if there’s anything we have to do to reserve before we go. Keep in mind it’s our first time here so we didn’t know that you can’t make reservations the day of. I told them very upset we called and asked to make sure we didn’t need a reservation. It would have been nice and professional of the lady who answered the phone would of told us we have to reserve within days. The man and young lady that were in the front that day were AWFUL very RUDE! I will not be coming back! And sad to say it was my first time going and with my bad experience never going again!

Upstairs is a party on Sunday. You can only get tacos dont expect the full menu up there. The tacos were good. The locals were friendly and the dj was good. Downside the restaurant was an 1.5hr wait for a table. Try the Mexican candy shot and the Strawberry lemonade margarita. Yummmm

Went for the gigantic marg I saw on tiktok. Honestly it was pretty weak but we expected that only got it for the novelty. There was a line to eat in but to drink upstairs at the bar we were able to head in immediately. Service was fast and friendly we also got the birria tacos to go and they were AMAZING like Im still thinking about them. Will definitely visit again to get a full meal

Food was excellent, service was VERY lacking. Waited 15+ minutes for anyone to even take a drink order. Frustrated seeing 4-5 other waiters and 2 managers standing around, 10 min trying to wave someone down to get a check and being totally ignored. They werent even 25% full so I am baffled how they can be so staffed and not provide service.

Even on a super busy night with s packed house the service was still too notch.Make sure you make a reservation or you will be waiting outside.

Worst service I have ever experienced. They sat us in a corner that was extremely hot. We were all sweating. Tried to switch tables but they apparently didn’t have any although a lot of tables were open the entire time we dined in. We ordered drinks that came after our food. No silverware was brought to us. Asked for salsa 3 times. We had to hunt down our waiter and also made it aware to the manager Bernal and he didn’t seem to care either about the service. Really dissatisfied and disappointed with the service.

We cannot wait to go back. I think the sweet spot would be a group of four people where we can order double the amount of dishes for variety and not be completely stuffed. For drinks I think their menu has changed but they were solid! Definitely the highlight of my trip to Dallas.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would because we were waiting in line for 1hr to go upstairs, security outside didn’t even had proper attire like the rest of security, as well he was just letting those cut the line if they pays him a good amount. Once you got inside you had to wait by the bar and I quote “if you are cool they will let you upstairs”, there don’t have the place organized of who was next in line we were waiting inside for 20 more minutes but there was other people waiting over an hour, the other security letting people go upstairs was rude and unprofessional, they should have a name tape so they could be easily identified. Highly disappointed with the lack of professionalism in this place!

Decent food; nothing special compared to other local Tex-Mex. Really good chips and queso.The service is just actively offensively bad, though.We rarely saw our waiter. With a party of seven, we were seated for more than 20 minutes before drink orders were even taken. Our water glasses were dirty (which makes you wonder about the rest of the restaurant), and it took more than 10 minutes to get replacement glasses. One persons water randomly didnt have ice.Our food took more than 40 minutes to come out, with two peoples food coming out 20 minutes late. Our waiter completely disappeared during those 20 minutes. Asking other waitstaff to send over our waiter yielded no results. When we finally asked for a manger, the manager simply said hed check on the food, without even so much as an apology, much less any sort of remedial action. The manager never came back to even check on the table or apologize after checking the kitchen for our food.When the late dishes finally did come, the waiter finally reappeared and just asked if everything was okay, without even apologizing, other than saying that the kitchen was backed up.We ordered $22 worth of dip (guac and queso), and we had to ask SEVEN times before someone finally brought chip refills so that we could actually enjoy these expensive dips. We asked our waiter at least four times, and he wouldnt bring them (despite returning with drink orders). We asked another waiter, and finally we had to ask a food runner twice, and she finally brought extra chips (expressing surprise that our waiter hadnt brought them).Our waiter also ignored and/or forgot several non-alcoholic drink orders (e.g., soda).All in all, its not just slow service--its actively bad service. A little bit of communication goes a very long way (such as telling people that their food will be late rather than just disappearing until the food actually comes out). And generally its a pretty bad look to refuse and/or forget to bring free/cheap items (chip refills [with, again, $22 worth of dips ordered at the table] or soda) while still bringing overpriced alcoholic drinks.The fact that the manager promised to check in on two dishes that were 20 minutes late, but never apologized, never followed up with our table after checking the kitchen, and never took any action to make things right also isnt good. And the server just disappearing for 20-30 minutes at a time really isnt ideal either.

First time I ate here. Not your standard Tex Mex, the menu is very, very interesting and the fried avocado tacos were terrific. The garlic potatoes were too much to finish, so I took them home where they made a wonderful dinner with artichoke hearts and scallops. All in all, its a place to return to.....just lower the far too loud music, guys. Not needed....the food delivers.

Worst experience here Sunday night, 24th of Oct.First we were told the patio was at capacity, then a couple cut and paid the door guy to get in, even though it was “ full from capacity “:Service was horrible. Managers standing on the bar top less than 1 foot away from my drink. Bartender left for about 15 minutes. Had to ask other bartenders for a drink.A 18% gratuity was charged to my tab of $62 because it’s an apparent mandatory charge they do after 11 PM every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. According to the female bartending manager. I asked to have it removed because I was going to tip anyways, every service gets tipped what the service is worth.Well the bartending manager removes it and tells me I am longer allowed to come back to vidorra and has me escorted. Also yells at the security and says “ OUT !”I recorded the incident and I will be speaking to the general manager.

The food was good, atmosphere was live. I enjoyed the vibe. Make sure you get to the roof top!

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing patio filled with greenery. The Gold Digger and La Toxica drinks were super good. Three stars because they kept on delaying our reservation and because the loaded street fries we got weren’t that good.

If parking wasn’t SUCH a hassle then this place would really hit the spot. Right on the edge of Deep Ellum beautiful interior decor & outdoor dining. Everything we ate was super tasty & filling the sangria pitchers will have you 😏I highly recommend you leave the kids at home ! Definitely will return ! service was also impeccable I wish I remembered our servers name she was such a delight super engaging even helped us avoid a food tantrum by brining us orange slices to subdue our toddlersaurus Oh the bucket nachos are a MUST have!

Ive been back a few times and the food and drinks are delish. The service can still use a little help.
