This place is amazing, gave me a great price for my alternator, were on time with the ETA of my service and Dennis is absolutely amazing . I would recommend calling about an estimate so you know what youll be spending cause they do great work. My car is running no indicator lights on dashboard anymore. I am beyond thrilled to have my car back so quickly.
Dennis provided straight forward and honest service to my old Nissan 300ZX. I couldnt pass smog and he completely inspected and diagnosed my car. He helped tune up my car and was able to pass. Pay this shop a visit before you spend money elsewhere.

Dennis the owner is amazing, sincere service and humble. Great work and great price. Being a single father is not cheap and I needed to get my brakes and rotors done and could only afford so much, he was able to help me. Update 5/5/2021 - went to get my car fixed because my engine light and other light went off. As usual, explained to me thoroughly what happened and what needed to be done. Thank you!!Usually my car has a little fixing to do once a year. Dennis is so kind, communicative through his platforms whether it be yelp or Facebook, honest and trustworthy. I needed to get my sunvisor fixed since it popped out completely (even my friend who popped it back in couldnt make it last for a while) as well as the under car shield. Lo’ and behold, it was all tightly fixed and perfect. They do such and amazing job here

In the process, he will send you progress pictures. He already worked on my BMW and my sisters Toyota and we are extremely thankful for his service. This is an updated review as to now I have a Pathfinder that even though had low mileage had some issues underneath... bad catalytic converter upon other things that needed repair because of normal wear and tear. Dennis provides great information and always willing to go the extra step. I really trust his work and will keep coming back. I support local family owned business and have referred him to family and friends. Thanks again for your hard work Dennis-----I have been dealing with bad breaks on my 2015 Jeep since it pretty much left the dealership. Not even the Jeep dealership or corporate could fix my break issue. I took my car to P& W Auto Service and smog test and right away Dennis helped me out. We discussed the history of the car and he gave his best recommendation. My parts were replaced with performance parts and now my Jeep drives with no scratchy breaks! When I first moved back to LA from the Bay Area, I had some car troubles and scrambled looking for a mechanic. I came across a couple highly rated mechanics in Alhambra and took a chance on P&W. I have never looked back since. Dennis does a tremendous job with my vehicle and I have never worried about being offered mechanical work I didn’t need or being overcharged. He shows you exactly whats wrong with your car and even offers to give you the old parts after he’s done if you even feel the need to investigate further.I wouldn’t recommend any other mechanic and this is coming from someone whose had it towed from as far as Santa Monica just to ensure quality, trustworthy work. 5 stars all around!
I would like to thank P&W Auto Services for the oil change I took my car in for earlier today. Feels good to drive a car knowing it has clean oil and no maintenance lights on. Also fixed my tire pressure issue and informed me to have my back breaks looked at, which I most likely will be taking it there for service again. Searched for a shop near where I lived and found this place.First, before even going, I called and talked to Dennis and asked for a quote. He gave the most reasonable and affordable price after hours of browsing for other places. Then, instead of calling, I texted him on their facebook page and guess what? I was so surprised that someone actually replied me there and he replied the moment he read the text. I wanna say that this place communicates with you very well.Then when I took my car there, not just Dennis greeted me, his Family was there too and they were super nice and friendly.Another thing what I liked about this place is that they actually inform you on what other problems your car has and will provide pictures of the damaged stuff if you request for it. They will recommend to you on what needs to be worked on and will give you affordable prices. Wow. Where do I start? Dennis and his dad are simply the best in every way. I have a 1988 grand Wagoneer. I called dozens of places and literally everyone I talked to had a bad attitude or didnt want to work on it because it is carbureted and so old. Finally, I simply said to myself that if I came across anyone who was simply polite, Id go with them. Dennis was cool from the very beginning, so I gave them a shot. I knew the repairs would be extensive and I couldnt believe so many mechanics didnt want thousands of dollars of business. They got to work right away, but they gave me some bad news... the car was missing almost the entire emissions system! Not only were they going to have to work on the car for weeks, but they were going to have to work on locating rare parts on Ebay. After informing me of this, Im expecting to hear sorry, we cant work on the car. I was completely wrong. Dennis spent the time to do the tedious job of finding parts on Ebay and specialty shops. And they kept the car in their shop this entire time. It took almost a month (and I dont know how many hours of extra work they DIDNT charge me for, like looking up old jeep manuals, reading online forums, etc.) and now I can finally drive this classic. They gave me a great price and to be honest, I dont know how many mechanics anywhere would have undertaken this project knowing what they were ultimately going to make off of it. Dennis was awesome the entire time, they walked me through everything they were doing, and he never once rushed through a conversation or a visit. I never felt like I was bothering him. In fact, he and his dad were very proud of all the work they did and were happy to show me all the repairs and old parts they replaced. And again, this is on a 30 year old classic car that no one else wanted to touch.Dennis and his dad earned a customer for life. Now I can cruise around in the car from Narcos, and I didnt need to spend money like a narco to do it. I wont go anywhere else and neither should you!

My wife’s 2011 Sonata had check engine light on and it needed smog to get tags. Use to work in the automotive industry and took her car to a couple mechanics that use to work at my stores. They would get light off tell me it’s good for smog then bing lights back on. Finally I remembered Dennis not only does smog but repairs as well. So I called him up and he told me to bring it over. He fit her car right in his schedule and repaired the car correctly and was very affordable!!! He got the PERMANENT light off that was deep inside the cars ECU. Car is driving like a champ up and down the cajon pass daily. We live in Hesperia and any issues with Wifes car, my truck or suburban goes down to Alhambra to the MAN!!!I HIGHLY recomend you take your car to Dennis if you need anything. Dennis takes pride in what he does on a daily. When he got the problem fixed correctly on my wife’s car, I honestly don’t know who was happier him or my wife LOL. You don’t get that joy from someone that hates working on cars. Take your vehicles to Dennis he loves his job and it shows thru his work.

Came in for a smog check and it failed due to a evap leak. Dennis diagnose the problem and fixed the leak and it passed the smog check. The price is reasonable and the technicians are friendly and will do their best to help you out. If youre in the area, you should give this shop a try. I will be coming back for my next smog check.

Left my car for repairs claiming he could fix my hardtop convertible install a molding and he caused more damage to my convertible top. I needed to take it to BMW dealer so they can repair all his damages. Plus my doors were all banged up and scratched + my hood and my front bumper and he couldnt man up to the damages. It cost more out of my pocket to repair his damages to my BMW. Very dishonest person Al. If you do decide to take your vehicle there take pictures and video of your vehicle but with my experience I suggest you go somewhere else. Al wont admit to any damages to your car if being left over inside his shop. A very dishonest shop to take your vehicle to get repaired he also did a friend of mine wrong. Pathetic & Wicked Auto Service. He did say he was pleasing and impressing me.... WOW.... REALLY!!!! AL....

I drive from the 405 all the way to alhambra for Dennis once I found out how great he is, when I swung nearby for a doctor’s appointment. You can tell he’s an honest person and he shows you what parts of the car needs fixing and explains it to you. And I never need a followup (ie. i’ve been to other mechanics before and a problem usually arises from my car a few weeks later so who knows what they really did). I got my Toyota tuned up thanks to him!!

This review is for the U-Haul store they have.This location closes on weekends (open Saturdays 9am to 1pm only). We found out when we got there to pick up the truck, if I knew this I wouldnt have reserved it in the first place. My mistake was assuming it will be open for the busiest time of the month for renting trucks, which is the last and first day of the month, silly me. If you dont got there on time to return the truck you have to park it on the street but Alhambra have restrictions to park overnight. Especially for new people moving to the area that dont know the city parking rules.I have a disabled placard but the city has restrictions for commercial trucks to park overnight also, so I got a ticket overnight. The employee didnt warned us specifically for the commercial truck restrictions either.They had a parking lot but it is gated and locked, they should provide a key to their customers to drop off the U-Haul truck after hours due to their lazy business hours.
