Once we made our choice she made the purchase process easy ( My wife could sit and relax on the floor model of our choice during the process.) Many thanks to Mari.We have La Z Boy in our home now and have been very pleased with the comfort, as well as how well the hold up under some fairly tough use by the household. We went into the store with a good idea of what we wanted after spending some time on the website and being repeat customers. Wendy greeted us and listened to what we were looking for. After giving us some direction to certain pieces she gave us time to look around and confirm our decisions. She was very helpful in showing us recliners with a comfy but not overstuffed look which is what we wanted. She guided us through the fabric selection and had great advice on fabric content and durability. The whole experience was low key and enjoyable. The only downside is the wait time of 4-7 months for delivery of the furniture we picked out. But within 30 days we should have a better estimate on the timeframe. Lazy Boy furniture stands the test of time and we always recommend them to family and friends.

The staff was friendly and very helpful on making the right choices of furniture that we bought. definitely telling my family and friends to shop there. there is less expensive furniture out there if you want. but quality, warranty and choices are great with La-Z-Boy.

I went to this location to browse. Kendric introduced himself and asked if he could assist. He was so easy to talk to and so laid back that I ended up picking out 3 pieces and scheduling an in-home visit (not my intention at all, I was just looking). Stephanie came out a few days later and was just as fantastic! Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and price of the product, as well as the service. I loved her suggestions. She put together a great picture of my room with the new and existing furniture, which made it easy to see how it would look and fit. Im excited to see it all when its done! Mari was my sales associate at the Algonquin store and she was outstanding. She listened to what I was looking for and helped me locate a similar recliner on the floor to try out. She then went about finding one that was available out of stock elsewhere so that I could have it in time for my daughters needs. She is very professional and an asset to that store. I look forward to seeing and using the new piece when it is delivered.

I was having a truly awful day and didnt really want to talk to anyone. I wandered into LaZBoy to look around at in stock options after learning the model Id ordered online had a 9 month lead time (global supply chain issues, not their fault, but wasnt married to that model and hoped for a new chair before July if possible). Wendy introduced herself and checked on me a few times as I wandered the store, without being pushy. She helped me navigate the store and looked up ETAs for me. She listened and made recommendations based on my budget, sat in the chairs and chatted with me, and pointed out that the protection plan that covers pet accidents was worth it, since the chair I was replacing was ruined by my cats ongoing bladder problems. She was patient as I called customer service to cancel the original order, and made me feel listened to and appreciated. She helped me find a chair coming in 2-3 weeks, that was affordable, comfortable, and matches my room perfectly. Wendy was amazing to work with and brightened my day more than she knows.

We had such a positive experience shopping here! We worked with Val, the Store Manager. She knows her product completely - which sofa fits which body size, which is softer, etc. As we looked, she took notes on our impressions so we would remember which lines were still in consideration. She also watched our reactions to guide her in recommendations.Val called in Stephanie, the Designer, to help us visualize our room. Both were very professional and patient. We never felt rushed. They also helped us in deciding on options.By the end of the visit, we were certain that La-Z-Boy was our best choice, and which product we wanted. We still had a few questions, which we covered by phone the next day, when we placed our order for a sofa, loveseat, and recliner.Highest recommendations to both Val and Stephanie, plus the La-Z-Boy product. I just wish there wasnt such a long wait time!

Wendy Strauss was our salesperson and we couldn’t have been happier. Wendy never pushed us into purchasing something we didn’t want or need. We were looking for a sofa sleeper that was less than 80” long. She walked us over to view the “Twilight” sofa sleeper 76.3” long and demonstrated how it had an air mattress. She showed us in detail how easy it was to inflate to the firmness needed and the easy of deflating when you needed to close the bed. We were sold. She explained about the July 4th special of 30% off and we were sold. Unfortunately, delivery won’t be until November but it will be well worth the wait. Thank you Wendy.

We were looking for very specific sofa to fit down the doorway & turn into our basement. Carol was very helpful in which the back could be removed to fit down the staircase and which couldnt, additional colors and fabrics the item we liked came in etc. She listened, explained but then backed off giving us time to search and decide on our own. It was a wonderful experience. Only downside would be you pay more for the versatility of what we chose but it was the only solution to our unique issue of a tight squeeze into the space. She even let us know a designer or mock delivery could be made before purchase if we were worried. Awesome to have those options if you face a similar problem.

This is our second time buying from this location, first time was back in 2018 and it was a great experience. We returned yesterday to find a new potential upgraded sectional for our home. We bought 2 couches from them and worked with Kendrick. He was great to work with and we looooove our new couches. I am a super busy mom but when I finally get to sit down it is the most comfortable couch we have ever had. Our sectional is so comfy i have to be careful not to fall asleep

What a nightmare. The furniture is nice and the sales person was friendly, but this Labor Day “no APR financing” is a hoax. First we found out we had to put 30% down because our furniture won’t be ready until late this year (“if it was in stock we could finance all of it”) but we can’t finance the rest despite a credit rating over 830 because of an expired drivers license. I dont want to drive the sofa, just sit on it. Charge me 30% because of Covid delays but don’t approve financing because of Covid delays renewing a license. If the whole process was not so cumbersome it would qualify as a joke. It was a lot easier buying a new car at MLady Nissan this year than the process at La-Z-Boy to get their financing offer on some cheap furniture.

I was immediately excited just walking into the showroom ! Very roomy, brightly lit. Very clean and what a great selection. I was concerned about the cleanliness in light of the pandemic. Those concerns were addressed by the sales manager. There were sanitizing stations everywhere. The rest rooms spotless ! The sales staff was very helpful without making me feel pressured. I was very pleased with my selection and the closing process. Kendrick, my sales person was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. Overall I was very pleased with my experience. I won’t hesitate to return in the future and I would recommend this store to anyone !

From the minute my husband and I walked into the show room we were impressed! We appreciated how helpful and professional, Wendy Strauss is. We planned on “just looking “ but walked out ordering 2 gorgeous leather recliners and a beautiful loveseat. I plan on returning to purchase new end tables soon while waiting for our custom order to be completed. Stephanie, who is the stores interior designer is amazing as well!

After going to 2 other stores along Randall road, my wife & I found attractive, supportive, comfortable high quality couches at La-Z-Boy. I Also liked that the couches were in stock, and that I could have a designer bring up our house on the MLS and make suggestions for the future.

Terrible customer service. Finally received furniture on Saturday. First time that we sat on the loveseat. It broke. Cant use it. The table wobbles. Needed felt under one leg to get it to be balanced. Waited 1 hour 11 minutes on hold. Now we need to wait 5 weeks for service. A supervisor was supposed to call us no later than yesterday. Still no phone call. Absolutely the worst purchase that we have ever made. Definitely would not refer anyone to your store

We had to inquire for help and even then it appeared the senior staff (intent on their desk work) prodded the junior staff to respond. We knew what we wanted so the junior staff got an easy commission. Would not return if there were an alternative. $50 per arm cover??? Get real. Very disappointing.

Salesman was pleasant. Personnel observed social distancing and wore their masks. Salesman was very attentive to anything we asked about and went out of his way to give us an additional discount after observing my husband’s Vietnam cap.

I found my perfect match in the Mackenzie sofa and loveseat at La-Z-boy in Algonquin. Their furniture is lovely and comfortable with lots of patterns to choose from. And our sales associate Jay was great to work with. For style and cost, I highly recommend!

The staff was all highly knowledgeable and friendly. They showed me only items I was interested in and there was NO high pressure sales tactics. It was actually a fun experience which in my experience is unusual. They were able to work my deal to get the biggest discount possible. I was very pleased with my experience, and still received my purchase in a reasonable time frame, even through a pandemic. They are not inexpensive, but back up their sale with a very good warranty, which I hope to never need.I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely shop with La-Z-Boy again.

Went in looking for a new sectional and worked with Claudia. She was patient and understood our requests (which were a bit scattered!) and helped us find the perfect couch with zero pressure to buy. Great customer service, pleasant personalities and very clean stores.

The style and price of the recliner was the attraction. The brand name was a selling point also. What wasn’t very good was the lack of customer service contact regarding the delivery delay. We more than understand the reasons for the delay but we never received a call from LazyBoy informing us of the delay. I had to call them, twice. The quality of the recliner is questionable compared to the recliner weighs for years.

Our sales rep, Renee, was outstanding in helping us to pick chairs that met our individual desires and yet were safe. She was very patient and did not push us to decide.

I need reclining sofa and loveseat in a navy color. LaZBoy seemed to be the place for multiple fabric choices and nice style selections. I would only buy there when 30% sale is going on because of high costs there.

When you’re spending over a $1000 for a piece of furniture, I find it ludicrous that the store near where we live wants to charge us $40 extra to have it delivered to that store. We bought from Lazy boy and gave them business so there should be no additional charges. So now we have to drive out of our way when furniture is ready to pick up at their warehouse 50 miles away. Please tell your CEO Kurt Darrow that is ridiculous and that they should change their policy on that.

Renee my sales person was very personable and customer focused, she listened to my needs and helped me select a sofa based on the criteria I gave her. The store manager Val really went the extra mile, I had time constraints due to a pending surgery and did not have time to place an order so Val agreed to sell me the floor model, thats excellent customer service that you just cant find everywhere. Lazyboy products are very high quality, elegant and classy not to mention comfortable. With that said why not go where the staff is awesome and super friendly. I know Ill be going back to Algonquins Lazy Boy store in the future.

Great furniture and awesome customer service. Stephanie, the designer, was a huge help in putting together a few rooms for us. We have several couches from them and they hold up really well. The corporate office even replaced an entire 2 piece set for us when we had trouble with an arm rest after a few years of use.
